Terrific bookstore through and through! Friendly staff and great variety of books. Their coffee is delightful (I love that they named beverages with a literary theme).

I love this place. Its small and cozy. When the pandemic wasnt a thing I would go and sit for hours enjoying the atmosphere and people. I thoroughly enjoy this place and they have an awesome selection of books.

Very cute little shop with welcoming staff. Prices seemed reasonable. Tons and tons of fiction. Some non-fiction. I appreciated the shelf of poetry, especially, because not everyone sells that anymore. Theres also a section on travel, both outside and within Bend. There was even a section on local authors and their work, which is pretty cool. I was disappointed not to find any Christian authors. Not even cross-over authors like Ted Dekker who sell in both secular and faith circles (I looked awhile but couldve missed it). There was a small section on astrology and so Im guessing that must be what sells in Bend more than traditional religion? I dunno. Im visiting. Still, I cant complain. Especially for the size of the store, there was certainly a lot of fiction to choose from! I did find some titles to purchase, and I didnt have to break the bank to do it. Even got a signed copy at no extra charge. Its a nice place to relax and read.

Roundabout Books has been my indie bookstore from almost the moment I moved to Central Oregon. Lovely team, great stacks, and they can find you almost anything they dont happen to have on hand. I moved this week and sadly, wont be a regular anymore but you can be. If youre in Bend, pop over to Northwest Crossing and stop in. Many thanks to Cassie, Sara, and the team for all the books and such a great place to be.

A great place to find a NW author!

I went in looking for a gift. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I left in 10 minutes with 3 books that I was super happy with. Thank you! Highly recommend.

Quaint, cozy, welcoming. Helpful and friendly staff ready with recommendations. Comfortable was the feel when I first stepped inside. With soft pillowed nooks at the windows to relax, and sitting corners, Roundabout Books is a treat. My first visit was soon followed by a second trip to Roundabout in the same day.

This is my go-to place when I take a walk. The people are so friendly and knowledgeable when I need a book, or want to order one. They are super supportive of the community with lots of book clubs and “Meet the author”. It’s a great place to sit and have a cup of coffee and enjoy the day. I won’t tell you about the cookies because you might buy my favorite and there wouldn’t be any left for me.

Friendly service, good coffee and pastries. They do not carry Christian books and a thin selection of other faith traditions. They have good selection of popular books. I will go back.

Great little bookstore with some really cool employees and signed books for sale at no extra cost! Super stoked to find my hiking maps book signed by the author after getting it home. Feel very welcome there.

A great little independent book store with a coffee bar inside. Large section for children and young adults. Local authors are highlighted. Good fiction and travel sections. I would like to see a much better entrepreneurial/business section that speaks to what Bend Oregon is largely about. Overall...great place to spend time.

I am in Roundabout Books almost every day, sometimes just picking up a newspaper, many days also buying books and/or meeting friends for tea. I also have been to several author events here. I love this shop! It has become a community gathering place, where they always welcome you in to browse or chat. The staff people are all kind, knowledgeable and eager to help. Books not on shelves are easily and quickly ordered, suggestions are welcomed and the all-around atmosphere is all that a person could ask of a bookstore and more. This is such a place of refuge in this era of anonymous online retail. Stop in and check it out for yourself!

The owner has a love for books, and it shows. Endless little custom review cards sit below staff pics, and offer extremely useful information for making choices. You wont find everything here, but you will find only the best. It means no wasted space, and every book you pick up is a treasure. The selection is constantly updated as well, and each section stays surprisingly relevant.The coffee is from Lone Pine (the best coffee in town), and each drink has a whimsical name based off an author. All around is a pleasant artistic flair, and there are plenty of little nooks to read at.

This place is neat. They have a cool book selection as well as a nice little coffee shop/barista. Pretty quiet, a decent amount of seating for its size. Was so pleasant to be there with a writing friend. This may be our new stop for our collaborations! Glad we decided to try it out.

I am a student at the college, and this is my go-to study spot. Great vibes, delicious drinks and pastries, and helpful friendly people. If I need a break, I browse the shelves and almost always walk out with a new, engaging read.

How lucky are we to have a gem like Roundabout Books?! I love dropping by for various authors nights and also love to bring my children when childrens events are going on. This is also the perfect place to pick up a book and note bookish type birthday gift and card.
