Wild Hare Bistro and Coffee is a pretty decent place, a bit on the high end as price goes, with food thats worth what youre paying for. Its a nice place, with a lot of good art as well, and the atmosphere is good for a quick bite and a friendly conversation. Were I vegan, Id star this up at least one more, as their vegan offerings are great as well. As Im more of a fast, easy, and greasy sort, its not really for me, but my wife swears by it and would easily five star it.

Amazing little cafe. Staff are super friendly and the food is AMAZING. The French toast with strawberries and cream cheese is to die for. My boyfriend had the Cuban burrito and he said that was delicious as well. Best mocha I’ve ever had. Too bad we live 7 hours away, otherwise we would be here all the time!

The gluten free dairy free pecan torte was OUT OF THIS WORLD.

Mediterranean wrap was so fresh and tasty. My partner had the pea and ham soup and reuben and he said both were very good as well. Friendly employees too.

Many of vegan options (couple sandwiches, couple salads, some bread, vegan Mayo and vegan cream cheese). They did a great job with a soy milk latte. I would definitely come here again.

A comfy Cafe tucked away in downtown Bemidji.Playful people who gladly went along with my surprise me request on the beverage menu. They asked a few questions and actually put real thought into it and discussed between the employees what to make this time.Tons of beverage options. It would take an entire year of college visits to hit them all.Medium-Small sized menu for food. Though they seem to improvise if you ask and they are able.Ill swing back when Im able, and recommend it to some friends that appreciate these kinds of places.

The Wild Hare is a nice, authentic place. The style and atmosphere seems sincere and old style, which is really unique and is not something Ive seen a lot of. The coffee is really good, and not crazy sugary. The staff are nice and seem to be hard working, especially since it can be a busy place.If you like good coffee or want a place to have a good sandwich, try this place out!

Great atmosphere. A good place to sit, talk and have a bite with a cup of coffee or tea.

Stopped in for lunch after calling ahead to confirm vegan options were available. I ended up getting a Mediterranean Salad Wrap and cup of chili. The wrap was pretty tasty but also pretty small. The chili was super tasty but not really any liquid in it. Didnt seem like chili, it was more like seasoned beans, still good. The chili came with chips on top which was nice but seemed like store bought tortilla chips, not the most appealing. Overall the flavor was good but the value want quite there. I would say the food portions are a little on the small side.

I love this place so very much. I’m pretty much here weekly and when I do make it in I order two meals so I can eat so much of it! This place is a wonderful place with varying art on the walls and healthy, real food. The specials are fun but I would recommend the Wild Rice sandwich or the wild rice platter! The staff is very friendly.

Absolutely loved this place ! Not only do they provide you with a fantastic latte, their food is spectacular! If youre vegan, this is a great choice! If youre not vegan, also a great choice! The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and took the extra steps to make sure we had a great experience. We were impressed by how they had so many vegan substitutes like earth balance and veganaise. My recommendation is the wild rice salad. We were in love with it! We will definitely be back! Thank you for making our lunch such a special experience!

Awesome place! By far one of the best places to go and get coffee or lunch in Bemidji. The food is always great and is made with fresh ingredients. The ambiance is nice and cozy. Just be prepared for it to be packed during lunch time due to its popularity and closeness to the government and law enforcement buildings.

I always love The Wild Hare. Its a locally- conscientious small-town business, featuring a well-proportioned dining area, local, relevant art on display and for sale. A wonderful menu with knowledgable staff supply you with the best bistro experience in Bemidji, beating out, in my opinion, all the chain stores. No drive-through means you get to be enveloped by the atmosphere on every visit, with local grassroots radio playing and wonderful customer service. Despite all its attributes, while rarely ever empty, the place is also rarely ever crowded, which further contributes to the relaxed atmosphere. I dont come often, but it is always a treat.

Worked remote for an afternoon and hung out here, it was a great place for coffee and lunch. Loved their David Ercig sandwich. Coffee was good. Staff were very friendly.

We were passing through town when panic struck. This is the town with those fabulous scones. Its 4pm, they close early... omg, what time do they close?!? 5pm, whew.Spidey senses tingling, I was 2min away. I ran for the display... walked, sort of fast, for me... 4 scones left! Bag em up! We took those to go and had a couple of quick sandwiches.I did the special (roast beef with horseradish sauce - yum) and the hubs had turkey with a twist. Neither disappointed. Counting our take out scones, we were at $36!

Completely loved this place! My girlfriend, our dog, and I stopped by Bemidji for three days and loved this breakfast spot so much we stopped in all three mornings. The breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and French toast were absolutely delicious, and we both loved that all the dishes came with fruit for sides. As for the good stuff, the coffee, cappuccinos, and chai lattes were equally amazing. I highly recommend this pet friendly (outdoor patio) spot to any travellers or other folks!

Its a lovely little coffee house. Nice corners to sit in and have a conversation. Prices are high for small portions, but the food is delicious...if you are into hippie food.

When we were visiting Bemidji this summer, we tried several coffee shops. My husband loves his cafe mochas. Wild Hare made the best one, and we enjoyed yummy muffins for breakfast too.
