Took total advantage of my + mother. You don’t switch 80 year olds from what they know to an android! Plus her new SE iPhone only had a felw $ hundred to pay off and they hooked her up with a $1000 phone she didn’t know how to operate. This company does not care about you. Only $$$. Today I find out my MIL went there. They did the same thing to her!!! Don’t give an 88 year old lady an Android when she has only ever owned an iPhone!!! Then she couldn’t get to connected to her hearing aid so the then exchanged it with an iPhone 12!!! An SE I s same phone but not all the bells and whistles which she doesn’t need. I am so upset! Don’t go here.
I was talked into a new phone in June by a pushy sales guy who never spent time telling me how this new phone works, I had a very old galaxy phone . So this new phone was very foreign to me..I had been trying to get my phone paired with my vehicle..no luck UNTIL I walked into the store today and met the phone goddess Kait!!! She got my phone paired!! She was so kind and patient with me!!! Now this is the kind of service we should get all the time! Promote this gal!! She is an all star!
Sales Rep Josh is my savior! My phone stopped working, and he worked tirelessly to help me get logged onto my Apple ID acct., because my password for the acct. was in my non-operational phone. I was at the store for 2 hrs. while he patiently worked with me to finally get my Apple password so my replacement phone could be ordered. I cant say enough about how wonderful my experience was and Ill always be grateful for Joshs persistence and over-the-top customer service. Thank you, Josh!

Ive been a Verizon Wireless customer for about 7 months. I love VZW!I had an iPhone SE which I lost unfortunately. I then had it replaced just a few weeks ago with an Android Mororola Edge Plus with a bigger screen. Im very happy with my new smartphone. Tanner sold it to me & he Abraham helped me resolve an activation issue.So, on my most recent visit I was helped by Tanner & Juwan. I lost access to my iCloud email account and asked Juwan if he could please help me recover it in order to unsubscribe from a couple of streaming services through Apple. I knew that this wasnt a VZW service issue, but Juwan was so nice, empathetic, patient that he helped me anyway. He completely resolved my issue for me.

These people are fantastic no waiting outside in the cold weather like you have to do at the Verizon on state they take care of you completely. Jake Totzke was the gentleman that took care of me he went through my entire plan and reduce my monthly bill. They showed me every accessory for this phone went through step-by-step everything that my phone would do and showed me nobody ever has done that. I also spoke with the manager great gentleman controls his store has all his people trained to a very high level and everyone treat customers with respect.I have been in the state Street location twice both times were bad experience. The last time two days ago I stood out in the cold for 15 minutes waiting to get in only to sit there for another 30 minutes why three of the sales people stood together and laughed and made fun of a customer DO NOT USE THE STATE STREET ROCKFORD LOCATION. Great job thank you Jake and all the staff and management I will never shop anywhere else.
The staff (5 stars) was extremely considerate and attempted to get the HUM provider to assist in replacing their malfunctioning unit by ending my contract 3 months and one week early and then ultimately starting a new one. HUM denied the request (1 star). I have appreciated my HUM.....maybe not so much anymore. Maybe they will not get a new contract. 😔

I went to Verizon because I was having issues with my phone. Matt waited on me. He spent 30 minutes with me even going out to my car to make sure it could sync properly. I really appreciated his patience and kindness. Thanks Matt and Verizon.

My day started out really bad, but ended up really great. Took my IPhone to Verizon in Belvidere because it had serious technical issues. I was greeted by Kayla who offered to help me. She worked on my phone for at least 45 minutes sometimes with help from Logan, but these two people managed to repair my phone and it’s never worked better. This is why I give 5 stars to these two Verizon reps. Stop in when you need help or want a new phone. Ask for Kayla or Logan. You will be pleased! 👍
I have been a Verizon customer for at least 10 years. This was by far, the best experience I have had at a Verizon store. I had to purchase a replacement phone, and I received efficient, friendly, expert assistance from Roger.

The service I received from Roger was top notch. He went above and beyond to get my number transferred. Even though it took almost a week, which was due to my old service provider, he was patient, kind and quick to answer my questions. I had one of the best buying experience ever today with Brian S! My mothers phone stopped working in another state, and she doesnt know any information to her device. He was able to get us a replacement and recover all of her information identical, and even set up Facebook and her emails. Came in for new phones. Usually received good service here but this last time was not the case! Had a very young guy as a salesman named Cameron who was obviously on commission. No deals on the new phones, no offer to give us anything for our old phones, even though Ive been a customer longer than hes been alive and was purchasing two new droids. He charged us $35 per phone to transfer our contacts and information to the new phones, wouldnt even look into a problem that I had with a previous bill. When we left, we watched him high-five (knuckles) with his coworkers. Obviously celebrating ripping us off! Very poor service with a gut-punch at the end Cameron. This visit and your bill has me looking for a new provider for my family of four phones. Knuckles!
My wife and I have been going to this location ever since they opened, about 15 years or so. The customer service experience is always very good to excellent at the store and the in-store tech people are on their game. Unfortunately, the off-site, back office, tech support over the years are what cause our frustration and keeps our rating down. 4.5-Stars would be a more accurate score to reflect our total experience but thats not an option.The Verizon Wireless Network is second to none and the equipment I have purchased over the years is always reliable, durable and outstanding. My first generation Google Pixel XL had a battery failure Labor Day weekend after 3y 9m of use, I was hoping to make it to the holidays to snag another great deal and get the new Pixel 5 but fate intervened.Truth be told my first gen Pixel was so awesome I didnt even realize it was that old, I thought it was a year younger based on how good it was performing before the battery crashed. I take responsibility for not replacing it sooner, normally we replace our equipment every 2-3 years as needed.During my most recent visit I had the good fortune to be welcomed and helped by Yulisa Alcauter. Since I operate my small business right from my smartphone I was naturally concerned about text, voicemail, and call log data loss; everything else is backed up in the cloud but not necessarily the aforementioned. Yulisa was calming and reassuring and confidently guided me through the process of saving my remaining data with just about 50% battery life remaining before no further charge would be accepted by my old phone. Thanks to her above and beyond approach and attention to detail I was able to secure most everything minus a few minor things due to a technical glitch and the complete loss of battery charge during the final back-up process. Had she not helped I would likely have lost most or all of that very important data.As I said the new Google Pixel 5 wasnt out at the time I needed my new phone so she happily showed me what alternatives I had and patiently and enthusiastically answered all of my many questions. After two days reflecting on what she had shared with me along with some additional online research on my part I decided on the Samsung S20+ with 512 GB of storage in Aura Blue.Unfortunately the Aura Blue is a Best Buy exclusive color and the 512 G models are special order and hard to come by. At the time you couldnt even buy the 512 GB model on Verizons website but with Yulisas help she did find me one in black. Because of her enthusiasm, professionalism, knowledge, and hard work I opted to place my order with her and forgo getting the blue one at Best Buy. She really did an excellent job.Two days later my phone arrived on-time as expected and Yulisa called me within the first hour after delivery to let me know it was ready to be picked up. Honorable mention goes to her associate Ana Hernandez who actually helped me set up the phone right there in the store since Yulisa was assisting another customer when I arrived. On the couple of occasions where Ana had a question Yulisa did a great job making herself easily available to Ana where the two of them worked together as a team to make the process of getting me up and running seamless, quick, and efficient; I didnt have to waste time explaining things a second time to Ana because they worked so well together.Perhaps most important of all Yulisa followed up with me within two weeks to make sure everything was OK, as she said she would, and was able to cheerfully answer a couple additional questions I had.But of course once the back office, off-site tech people got involved that is of course where the usual trouble began. Suffice it to say that, once again, with Yulisas help we were back on track within the hour.For a great customer service experience with knowledgeable and friendly staff you should certainly consider visiting this Verizon store. Im pretty sure youll be glad you did.Thanks again Yulisa!

Matt Cotton was AWESOME! Really knows what he is doing. Im not techy, but he was knowledgeable, friendly, respectful and professional all the way. He wore a mask, which I appreciate. I counted 11 employees the first day I went and only Matt & 1 other guy had them on. But when I commented that Id appreciate everybody having them on, every single person put theirs on EXCEPT one girl, Briana. (Bri) I dont have a mask, was her reply. Give me a break. Its a state mandate. You cant go anywhere without one. Except to work at this store, evidently. She never did put one on even tho other employees told her there were some in the back. Second time I went, same thing! No mask for Bri. This time Matt was busy at first so Emanuel Manny helped us. I was terrified that all my pics/videos on trade-in phone (Matt already transferred EVERYTHING perfectly 1st visit) would be lost when the old phone was wiped clean, cuz it happened thru Apple when the expert helped me. But Manny was patient & kind & everything was smooth as silk! Thank you to these two wonderful gentlemen, who should be given promotions in my opinion, for the way they conducted themselves so professionally and patiently to everybody they helped that I saw! THANKS! Ask for them if you visit Belvidere store! (The one girl refusing to put on a mask during this horrific pandemic is the only reason I didnt give this store a 5 star rating!)

Terrible service. I have had a verizon account for over 20 years I fell for the buy out scam for the LG that is a terrible phone I have to reboot the phone at least once a week and the wifi only works when your in the verizon store. I use my phone for work I need the wifi to work everywhere. Otherwise I am using up all my data before the month is over. Uping the data plan is to costly. Verizon use to care about there customers but all they care about now is taking your money. Tried to get the phone I had before. another galaxy but to get that I would have to pay back the buy out plus a restocking fee. I have never had a problem with verizon until now. I will be shopping for other phone carriers.

He did explain that the the store has changed since I been here and they are a franchise now. I honestly had the best experience ever at this store and will continue to bring business here. This store has done more for me than the previous owner.

Absolutely horrible. Went in for new phones last year, they didnt set up the phones yet charged both activation AND set up fees so after a while they agreed to refund one of the fees. They havent.They UPLOADED paperwork for a discount but have never given or activated the discount.We went in a second time to get it fixed and nothing.NOW, the third time, they have no record of a refund due or have no paperwork for a discount. They are claiming that its too late to apply for a refund now, even though it was filed within the first month.Pathetic customer service. I will be looking for other providers this week#Verizon

Buyer beware.. this is not a corporate Verizon store, so there are fees that can be added to your experience here. I went in to add 2 phones and change my plan to a family one. My first bill was over $500. I went in to discuss why it was so high, and after an hour was told I might be able to get the activation fee waved if I called Verizon Wireless, but there was nothing they could do. After calling, I was told these stores that arent corporate can legally charge additional fees and he was able to take $160 off my bill. Just like that. I will ONLY go to a corporate store from now on. And if you ask to speak to a manager there, they tell you there arent any, you can only deal with the staff.

They were more interested in trying to get me a new phone and promote their BOGO then actually assist me on what I came into the store for in the first place. Time to switch carriers seriously. A waste of 3 years tbh.

I went in to check if I had an upgrade and possibly look into getting some accessories for my iPhone. Lupita and Jamie were very informative and helpful to pointing me in the right direction for my upgraded phone and accessories. They were very professional and stayed with me throughout the whole process letting me know of all of my options and threw in some of their suggestions as well. I’m used to the hassle of having to go through this when I need a new phone but Lupita and Jamie made it very painless. I definitely will be back and I recommend everyone work with the both of them in the future. If I could give 10 stars I would!!

My fiancé and I had a great experience with Brian Santiago today. Brian was at the door and greeted us immediately. He was eager and happy to help. Brian went above and beyond to help resolve our technical issues with our device. He sat on the line with tech support and advocated for us. When things started to go south he was patient and continued offer alternative solutions. Other associates came over to see if they could help and offered us refreshments. What could’ve been a very long and frustrating visit turned out to be one of THE BEST costumer service experiences we’ve ever had.

I needed to update my work phones today. Stop at my local store and was introduce to Brian S. This gentleman set the standards when it comes to professionalism in this industry. Took care of my account and my new phones.
Dont go to these clowns for anything. I recently added a line to my plan. And I was promised a $200 gift card for adding a new customer. Its been 12 weeks now and no gift card. Every time I call and ask about it, they take my name and number down and tell me theyll look into it and never call me back. The bottom line is all these people care about is making money off you from selling something. If theyre not making some sort of profit off of you, youre not worth the time.
Nice enough but spent way to much time getting nowhere due to being asked the same questions over and over not to mention they gave bad info upon arrival then after 2.5 hours was told info was wrong..... Back to square 1 what a waste of 2.5 hours ill never see again

Im tired and just found out my bill went up after we replaced a phone two months ago I wasnt really nice but who spends 95 more a month to get a 35 discount seems the by one get one deal had strings attached and add in two people shopping to get a broken phone replaced lost communication on how plan works bam 2 months later bigger bill we looked found what was wrong and have some options not what I wanted but maybe this will help some ok as to going here yea they put up with me hot mad and just wore out and I left with lesson learned and I will try them again
