The owner, Dale (I believe was his name), was working when I went in. He was “nice” enough but while my new phone was setting up and we began to make small talk, he became incredibly rude and sexist. He asked about what I do for work. I work in construction and he seemed so disgusted and went on and on to tell me that women are weaker than men and shouldn’t work hard, that we should sit behind desks in air conditioned buildings all day and that “a pretty girl like you” shouldn’t be working hard. I called him out while we were talking but he just kept on going with the misogynistic comments. He even told me “when you come to your senses and realize that you hate your job, come back here - I’m sure I can find something for you to do around here”. I really needed my phone immediately otherwise I would have walked right out.
