Very poor customer service from Brandy I believe. I just called to see if a product was in stock and she was anything but helpful and quite rude. She suggested I drive to Mt Vernon for my product and when I explained that that was too far of a drive she just ended the conversation and hung up the phone. She did not offer any other alternative to what I wanted. Hopefully she doesnt make commission because her sales skills need improvement...

Every time I go to Harbor freights I get 10 feet in the store and my hands are full and Im trying not to drop stuff. Im thinking why dont you ever grab a hand basket when you first walk in? Then I get a tap on the shoulder from an employee who helps me out my items in a hand basket. While they tell me it looks like you could use this. We smile and laugh and I usually end up saying you know me to well cause this happens to me every time

I like the store itself. It has a great selection of tools, things you wouldnt think you could need.This trip I was able to find a few things I always forget to look for.The only down side of this trip, is that I was constantly followed. Not sure if its because of my race/ethnicity or what else it could be.Once we were ready to pay, my mate went to ask one of the guys standing around for one of the security cameras, he was told to go ask someone else, because he was on break.So we found someone else near by and she had an attitude because, this being our first visit, we didnt know we were supposed to grab a display card instead of the box itself.She grabbed the box in an aggressive manner and said They come with cards you can bring up instead.I like the store itself, but the employees were pretty rude

You cant complain about the price and variety of the tools they carry. If you break it, they replace it! Who can afford to pay for a name these days? It affords you those specialty tools you really wanted to buy! The staff is always very courteous and helpful!

They never have everything you want. Been there 3 times trying to buy a batteries for a drill I bought there. Every time they say it will be in next Thursday, or next Monday. Go back and they give you another date. I went to home depot and got what I needed.

What can I say I love and hate this place? Took a place to go to get cheap tools get the job done fast. I just said I wish they had better quality tools. I would just like to say I did go in there the other day and was pretty impressed by the manager. She shes always doing her job, but she kind of went out a way to help me out. And thats the type of things that I like to see thats keeps me coming back. Thanks harbor freight manager .

You can get some decent deals on made in china tools here. Becareful though they have some tricks up there sleves. Went in there for metric wrenches, an 18mm to be exact, and they have them but you have to buy the 150$ set to get it. the 24$ set has every size but the 18mm, go figure.

I bought a new chain for a friend to use for his bike to lock 🔐 up his bike at my apartment building Lincoln Square Apartments in Bellingham Washington State USA

I purchased a 16 gauge stapler/brad nailer 3 years ago and have used it occasionally until recently when I used it to staple down new underlayment in our house. Using approximately 8,000 to 10,000 ¼ crown 1½ and 1 staples I only had the stapler jam on a staple ONCE; and that was just before I finished the job!Excellent tool!

Great place to get cheap tools. Some are good value others are junk, so keep your guard up. Grab a flyer when you walk in and use the coupons for free stuff or 20% off.I find the sockets, wrenches, and jacks to be good quality, I dont recommend getting battery powered items here. Unless they use standard batteries such as AA.This store is in a busy shopping center and far from the freeway. I cant wait for the store in Mt Vernon to open up.

I bought a 1 ton engine hoist from Bellingham location on Black Friday. Turned out to be a great product. Unfortunately I was missing 2 parts. Not store’s fault. Came from factory like that. Called up the store and they said to come in and they would try to help. I was shocked. Never expected such a helping attitude. Big shoutout to Brandy and rest of the crew in providing the missing part. I found the store to be very well run and organized. This kind of attitude is rare in retail environment these days. These folks care and it shows. I will be returning in future.

I live within walking distance from it. Very dangerous.. As I am always finding more good things and tools to buy there. Nice, pleasant helpful staff, great prices and selection. Just know your needs and what quality of tools you want.

This is an amazing store filled with great tools at Warehouse prices. I got all my air tools in one visit to put my little woodwork shop together at a great price. The staff is really knowledgeable and super friendly. As I add to my tool inventory, Harbor Freight will be my first stop every time.

Employees care surprisingly a lot for retail. Unsure of electric tool quality. Otherwise, some tools are junk (some of the dikes style clippers for example). However, much of the sockets and impact sockets are good. My entire 1/2 socket stuff is from them. whatnot is good. If you can find Icon on sale it is quite good. The breaker bars are great, saved my rear end many times. Also the icon torque wrench is nice. Lots of other things here for car care, tarps etc. Also got my Jacks and jackstands here. I have seen entire one man companys run from these tools alone. Race cars have been built by enthusiasts (Mazzei formula 4 rotor rx7, rob dahm 4 rotor, boosted boiz has many tools from HF). Just be careful but its really a great store.

Prices are great. Remember that youre not buying SnapOn here, so you cant really complain when a $3 screwdriver doesnt last 10years. Great value for the $$ spent.

Harbour Freight has lots of great tools at really good prices. As a canadian, despite the exchange rate and travel it is much cheaper for me to come to the store to buy my tools. They have excellent value on items such as clamps and other hand tools, many of which have lifetime warranties. The customer service here is also great and all of the staff are really kind and can answer any questions that one might have. I would definatly recommend this store to anyone who wants to buy tools.

Big fan of HFT for many years. As many people are saying, watch out for junk, but there is a TON of stuff there more than worth the price, especially when on sale. Use your common sense, and browse through the product reviews. If you are a contractor, you know what you are looking for, and dont need my review. But for a homeowner/handyman/hobbyist, many hand tools, air tools, power tools, electrical and shop supplies are great, and will serve you well for a fraction of the price elsewhere. No problem with this particular store. Coming across the border, I often have to call them to confirm the stock, and they are always willing to put stuff on hold for me if needed. Unlike some reviewers, never encountered rude staff there; always nice and helpful people.
