Great location and very helpful. The manager, Shawn, helped me out yesterday with a bolt that was stripped on my Jeep. Came outside to the parking lot and worked it free with the correct size wrench. I ended up buying the wrench plus a few other items. I have always found this location provides great customer service recommend that you shop at this Ace.

Love this place. A bit crowded but they have everything you could want. All the hardware you might need plus gifts, knick knacks, garden supplies, candy, kitchen supplies and more. If they dont have it they will try to get it for you. Great friendly service. I love to browse. You never know what treasure you might find in the aisles.

I was kicked out once because I was spending too much time there appreciating all of the fantastic products. It is one of my favorite stores. I could spend all day there.

This store really stands out with its excellent customer service. Lots of employees around to help out, and a great selection of just about everything! Joe was extremely helpful and even brought out a battery so I could try out a few of the Ego powered lawn care accessories. If you value a hardware store where you can get quick assistance, this Ace will do you well.

Horrible management and even worse customer service. The manager Shawn followed me throughout my time in the store constantly asking me if he could find something for me. Not help but find something. After the fourth time of asking I simply replied that I want to spend money in your store but I’m just browsing at the moment. He came off very judgmental as if he thought I was going to shoplift. My wallet and keys are in my hand mind you. He then said that he wasn’t open if I didn’t know what I wanted and told me they were closed. I’ll never go to ace hardware again. I didn’t feel welcome and it didn’t feel like my neighborhood hardware store. Shawn has no business being in customer service and mostly no business being a manager. I will be shopping and browsing where to spend my money elsewhere in the future.

Joe and Carson at the Sehome Village location went above and beyond to help me!! It was a busy time, but they made the time for each and every customer, maintaining eye contact, and informing each individual as needed.I had never been in the store before, and came in looking for a brake light, not knowing if they had it or not.Their staff’s efforts stood out, and I will be returning for any further hardware needs thats I may... need :DKudos!!

Just walked in to the empty store and was told they can’t sell me a Discover Pass because they’re short handed.I know this pandemic is rough but, come on!2 stars because I’ve actually gotten what needed 1 of the 3 times I’ve been here, and the young lady was very nice.

Great store, has everything you need. Staff are not only very knowledgeable about everything in store but also super helpful. One employee even came out in the rain to help me find the part I needed for my bike, and the helped me install it right there which was beyond my expectations.

I am posting this review after shopping here for the last four years. Ive come to Ace for numerous projects over the years, their selection is larger than you would expect. Over the last several years one employee in particular, Dom, has really stood out. Every single time I come in he has a huge smile on his face and asks me what project Im working on that day. Dom always knows where everything is and generally has quality thoughts on what items would be good for my projects. Heck, one time I came to ace for a bunch of random things and in our conversation I mentioned my headlight had just gone out. Dom says, we have some lets see what kind it is. Dom and I go out and pop my hood, he pulls out the bulb and finds the correct one, and get this! While I was checking out he replaced it for me! How is that for customer service!! Somebody get Dom a raise, he really contributed to this 5 star review over the last 3 years!! Overall this Ace is a good place to go.

Great customer service, perfectly organized, easy to find what you need. Were new to the area, and my partner (an inveterate do-it-yourself guy) had initially been going to the two area big-box stores for his hardware needs, with mixed success. Less than five minutes of walking around this place, and he says, I am never coming anywhere else ever again.

Carlos saved our mountain bike vacation. I mistakenly bent the one key we had for our bike lock so badly it wouldnt work anymore. Came into the store and was quickly taken care of with Carlos key making skills. The new key worked first try to my surprise. Thanks!

Looking for a washer for a hand-held shower at the big box stores. No surprise, of course because it is not what everybody uses (really?), and they dont have it. Went to this Ace Hardware store and a frendly gentleman asked if he could help me say I needed. Within one minute he showed me the choices he had in stock. When time is money, this definitely helps a lot. Thumbs up for the friendly service and what makes this store different from the box stores.

I called to see if they had bike inner tubes and was shocked to hear Marina (spelling?) say that they were not only the same price as I could found on Amazon, but they were also cheaper than the Ace Hardware website. Plus, I got them now, when I needed them and picked up a delicious maple walnut cookie at the cash register (Marinas recommendation). Hooray for buying local at the same competitive price!

I DO NOT recommend this store. I did not feel safe there. The staff looked at me like I was some kind of criminal or I was not wanted there. I was looking for an item, and one of the employees asked if I needed help with anything. Then another employee came around and asked again. Then another employee, I believe it was, poked his head at me while on his cell phone, and looked at me quickly from the front of the aisle, then hid his face. I purchased an item, kept the receipt, and decided to return it because I did not want it anymore. I did not remember asking the return policy, and it was not on the receipt. The store manager said I could have store credit. I received the credit, then returned the item I bought because I wanted my money back. An employee/supervisor made me feel like I did something wrong, and it was somewhat of a struggle trying to return the product. His tone of voice startled me, and then towards the end of the transaction, he rolled his eyes hard, and the female employee acted like she understood what he was trying to say non verbally. That was not cute at all. I did not disrespect him or anyone there, so I did not think it was all that necessary. God Bless.

They are always friendly and super helpful. Patient too, I came in looking for odds and ends to paint my living room and asked a million and one questions. They were kind and happy to answer all my questions even making sure that when I left I felt confident doing my project. I definitely prefer to shop here now.

All I needed was a nut to fit a bolt I already had for refastening a brake on my husbands backup wheelchair. Taylor assisted me after confirming the nut size required and we combed through a few trays and found a suitable nut that worked. Success!

Had the individual Allen keys I needed. Good service. Decent prices. Kc bell however a customer mentioned they accepted an homeless mans application before his return and he was upset. Im sorry kc but your selfishness can wait.

Great local hardware store. Everything but lumber. Very friendly staff, eager to assist. I just purchased some mouse traps and the employee had excellent advice.And, it is close to my home, so no trip to the big stores, having to park far away. Ace Hardware parking is 50 from the door.Full service paint dept.Good restaurants close by, $ store, UPS, REI, Haggens, Rite Aid, etc...

I just called Ace Hardware in Bellingham at the Sehome location, asked about a product and price, they said they had it, got there! Nope they didn’t! A store of very young employees! That truly have little knowledge, mistakes happen but trust me this is not the first time! Hire some older folks that have more knowledge on customer service, I’m not sure if I will be back! Miss the Whatcom farmers co-op soooo!! Owner responded that it was sold out by the time I got there! Sorry, I was there 10 minutes after I called and the girl that took the call said sorry I was really busy when you called and did not read the computer right! She admitted to the mistake!! Typical answer trying to cover up employee error! Not buying it!! Like I said people make mistakes, unfortunately this is the third time I have had wrong or inadequate service at this location! I won’t be back! One of the many reasons folks are choosing to shop on line!!!!!😡
