Had lower ball joints replaced on my 07 Taco. While there were some communication snafus that might have cost us a day, my overall impression is that theyre conscientious and competent. Had a couple of conversations with owner who is super cool and left me with very positive impression regarding his character. I brought it back for an alignment check after a few weeks and they were very cool about taking care of it. They saved me $500 off dealer parts price as any non-dealership service should. I would use them again.

I heard great things about this place, and so I gave them a shot. Seems like the work they did on my car is good, but the experience was less than thrilling. Need to work on Customer Service, need to train your service writers a little better. The young man who helped me barely seemed to know what he was talking about and they didnt call me to go over work and pricing before theyd actually completed some of the repairs and put on parts that I was then charged for. Overall service was good ...but I probably wont go back due to their lack of organization and how stressful the experience was overall.

They fit me in same day, I ended up going somewhere else (no fault of theirs) but they were great to work with. I would give them my business in a heartbeat

Highly recommended. This local shop is very honest unlike some of the chain shops that always try to make you buy unnecessary parts or service. If anything is needed they will contact you right away and let you decide. I had two of my vehicles serviced here and they always were quick, courteous, and professional. My steering wheel was tilted and after receiving just a front wheel alignment my car drives like new! Call them up now and make your appointment, dont bother going to those chain locations that only want your money.

Alignment came out perfectly. Appreciate the extra time put in to get the steering wheel to sit straight with the electric steering drive. Interior headline did get dirty during the work but it was taken care of at a detail shop the next afternoon. It ment another trip and some of my time but these things happen and it is how it is handled that matters. Im a happy customer in the end.

I had an 07 GMC Yukon that broke down on the coast of California when I was moving back here. It went to 3 different mechanics in California, including the gmc dealership. None of which could figure how to fix the issue, and we’re basically telling me it was totaled. I got the car towed up to Bellingham later that month. I described what was happening with the car to Shane and he was able to tell me what was wrong with it and how to fix it before he even saw the vehicle. It was still a pretty big repair to be fixed, but they fixed it. It is now back on the road good as new and I couldn’t be more thankful! I Definitely have a go to mechanic in Bellingham now.

We had a must do brake job on my daughters 2013 Ford Escape. They were very accommodating with getting us in, allowing us to leave the keys, and park the car overnight. They were in constant communication letting me know what was going on and just how bad the brake job was. They were more than fair with their assessment and their pricing. Shane is coming in tomorrow (Saturday) on his day off to make sure that everything checks out okay and we get the keys.With the constant communication, the willingness to go above and beyond, and the service, I would recommend without reservation, Alignment and Brakes Plus.

Nicest guys ever! I called just to ask for an estimated time on my car, and I got a full run down of what they’ve already done, what they have left to do, and things they noticed a long the way. I needed an after market leveling kit installed and an alignment done on my vehicle so I googled and found Alignment and Brakes Plus. This was my first experience with them and I have to say they’re all and more of what you read under their reviews. I was given a quote over the phone to have my leveling kit installed and I went for it. The install didn’t go as smoothly as expected due to unexpected challenges on the vehicle. Now instead of throwing the estimate away and charging me an arm and a leg for labor, they stuck by the original quote and charged me exactly what they said they would before starting. Not sure you’ll find many mechanic shops that offer that level of integrity. If any of my vehicles need attention large or small this is now the shop I’ll be a repeat customer at.

My check engine light came on on a Sunday and I called around everywhere trying to get in but the earliest I got was Wednesday everywhere else. I called here, spoke with Joel and was in within the day. Joel was very attentive and informative. I thought it would be an overnight fix because I dropped it off at 2pm but I received a call by 3pm stating it was ready to go. I will be taking my car here from here on out.

You guys, you cannot find a more honest company than this one right here. I called at 1pm on a Friday and he squeezed us in for a brake check. AND they were able to replace them same day. After inspection the owner asked my husband if he wanted to take a look at the brakes and drums they were inspecting to see for himself how they looked!!! What kind of shop does this? It is so awesome! So honest and trustworthy. And LESSSS money than what les Schwab was going to charge us and Brake and Alignment Shop did MORE additional work. We will be coming back here forsure and recommending them to friends and family. It’s so hard to find a mechanic you trust and that doesn’t overcharge.

My experience with this company has been nothing but positive. I first heard about this through a body shop close by their location. My truck has been having brake issues for some time. I took it to two other shops with no improvement. When I took it to Alignment Plus the owner took the vehicle for a drive and returned with recommendations. Great service, 10/10! I came in with a horrible oil leak which they looked at free of charge. They replaced a gasket to stop the oil leak and everything seems to be running great! I am really happy with how things went here. They were friendly, polite, & stayed true to their original quote, even though they topped off my oil due to the leak as well as fixed my driver side window that was off of the track and couldnt be rolled back up once rolled dow, free of charge. I felt like I could trust them and they did a fantastic job. Ill be coming back to them when I get my transmission fluid changed as well.

Had to give them a try after all the 5-star Yelp reviews and positive comments. I had an appointment and brought them a vehicle that was a challenge to work on due to its height. At first they thought theyd have to turn me away because there was a confusion about my appointment. Then they thought theyd have to turn me away because of the height challenge of the vehicle. But then the owner created a work-around and they were able to do the job. There was a parts challenge, but it was professionally worked through. The 5-stars is because they authentically wanted to do right by me and they dealt with the challenges professionally.

These guys are honest and professional. 1st experience was a reference to another mechanic that resulted in an incredibly good deal on a Subaru Legacy muffler repair. 2nd experience included them spending hours trying to diagnose a very tricky electrical issue on my Toyota Highlander. Since they were ultimately unable to confirm the problem they didnt charge me anything and referred me to another trusted mechanic. That is the REAL DEAL. Will definitely be back.

We have now purchased two cars from Shane and had nothing short of excellent service. I took my boyfriends car for an oil change elsewhere. They checked everything out and quoted us more than $1,300 to repair the brakes. I took it back to Shane and his sales rep said thats absurd and only charged $660 for all of it. They did an outstanding job at half the price. Shane and John have amazing customer service and I highly recommed this shop to everyone!

These guys saved my . I had an estimate from a big franchise shop on James St that was scary - demanding the replacement of a lot of alignment and suspension parts bringing the price to $1500. After Shane and his crew looked at it, they said all it needed was a wheel bearing on the right wheel and shocks which I was able to get used for $100. In conclusion, the repairs cost a fraction of the price the big boys were calling for. I feel sorry for anyone that gets taken by them.

After only two weeks of use on my new brakes that Bellingham alignment and breaks installed, A part failed that was no fault of their‘s and even though they were very busy they managed to get my work vehicle in and repaired by 12 o’clock the next day ! I called and told them what was wrong and they said theyd try to squeeze me in the next day. They take a look next day and show me the problem which was quite apparent. Right caliper on brake seized, rusty and discoloration. All fixed and no more steering wheel wobble. Well done. All in 24 hours of when I called.

My trucks front left brake caliper seized this morning and it became almost undriveable I was desparare to get back on the road and to work. Limped my truck over to Alignment and Brakes Plus at about 9:30am without an appt. where Matthew & Dane went above and beyond my expectations. They worked me into their schedule, made the repairs and got me back on the road by noon. These guys are awesome and were extremely reasonable on price of repairs. I have had excellent service from Shane and his staff. Ive taken my Subaru there twice. The first time, I had my front pads, calipers and rotors replaced for significantly less than other shops quoted me. After i got the car back I had a slight issue with the calipers sticking and I took it back the next day and Shane made sure to squeeze it into his schedule. I had the car back and working perfectly within a couple hours. More recently, I took it in to have the rear brakes looked at. It turned out to be something else but Shane was super honest and didnt even charge me for looking at it. If you want honest, reliable brake service, this is the place to do it.
