A great local store with knowledgeable owners who can help you find a great guitar appropriate to your budget and interest. Smaller more selective inventory that makes for a more approachable experience finding a new guitar. Great to have the repair shop right there too!
Very friendly staff. Had no problem answering question I had. It was great to have a conversation with people that actually know about the equipment as oppose to other chain stores.Decent collection of petals, not a huge variety but you will be able to find what you need. As for instruments themselves, they had a very small selection of bass guitars. Their guitar section was great, but as a bass player I was expecting more. However, the small selection they did have available was great.
Great shop. My daughter had amazing experience with Sean who thought her to play the Ukulele. Unfortunately we moved to a different state and Mia miss these lessons.
I walked in the store and was greeted warmly. There was no pressure to buy and they answered my questions enthusiastically. I learned a lot about choosing guitars and found a guitar that I enjoyed that was right for my taste and was reasonably priced. The owners werent there to try and sell me the most expensive guitar.
This place is closed its not open anymore they closed down due to not being able to get any funding during the covid-19 epidemic
Family run business that really cares about the customer. They are knowledgeable, not pushy and will share their enthusiasm about music and guitars, basses, amps, repairs and lessons. Highly recommend them.
Very knowledgeable staff here. Bought my daughters their first guitar and ukulele and felt great giving my money to a small, local business instead of the big one of everything store. If your focus is stringed instruments, let the quality of staff and product at NWG speak for itself. My oldest took guitar lessons from E, and shes now finger picking, learning new songs on her own and even translating songs to the piano. E gave her a great foundation to build upon for the rest of her life.My youngest to ukulele lessons from Sean, and couldnt be happier. He made it fun and interesting while at the same time increasing difficulty and introducing different music theories to such a young student.Go ahead and check out the center, but make sure you come here to experience top notch service and musicianship. Youll buy here and be happier for it!
Small, but vast amounts of guitars for sell. Also lessons are available. My roommate Daniel teachs lessons here. I recommend him, not because hes my roommate but because hes excellent at his job, and plays every day and night. Hes really talented.
Neat little guitar shop where you can pick up any guitar and it will be in tune!
Family store, with people who care. Experts who have been playing for years and know quality. No cutting corners here! Give this neighborhood store it a chance before you buy from the big guys that dont care. You.. WONT be disappointed.
Kevin Fallon runs a great store here! I used to walk in there all the time when I worked down the street. Super friendly vibe and great gear. Love it!!
Nice smaller local store. Very nice people, cool guitar selection. Usa made G&Ls, jackson imports etc.
Stopped in to check out this instrument shop had a nice conversation with gentlemen working. Lots of guitars, basses and ukuleles in every price range, great service and services. Amps and a small stage. I follow Norhwest Guitars Facebook page too 🎶🎸
Absolutely my favorite music store in the Seattle/Bellevue area. Super cool group of guys that are very knowable about their product. With a large variety of instruments and accessories in stock. They also offer repairs on guitars and equipment. Shawn Demots works on all of my guitars......Hes the only one I trust to work on them. I highly recommend Northwest Guitars for all of your musical needs!
Great employees. real cool people who will help with anything from getting you a great guitar to learning how to play it. overall best guitar store ive been to.
This is a great family-owned guitar store with great staff, wide and cool selection of guitars in all price ranges, and lessons available on-site with fantastic instructors.
Their stock can be a little thin or brand-restricted, but that doesnt matter because you come here for service, plain and simple. Best guitar service.
5 stars for the excellent service from their Luthier Shawn. My Tacoma accoustic had a big ding and a long split down the face of the body. Several of the braces were loose and one had come out entirely. I drop it off, hoping for the best but not expecting much. Two weeks later, and for a VERY reasonable price, my Tacoma guitar was almost as new. Perfect work, great price!
Great store and staff. Shawn DeMots is an outstanding guitar tech. Very reasonable prices for high quality work. Easily the best tech on the Eastside. Look no further.
Good family business. Option of music lessons exist. You also get discount for membership
A great place, these guys are friendly and very knowledgeable about their products, they have great customer service and do their best to help you find what you are looking for, the teachers are amazing professionals who make it fun to learn guitar or bass or singing. Kevin Fallon runs a great place
Exactly the sort of store musicians should support. Just saw a fantastic FREE live performance in-store.
Smaller shop with a limited selection but they had a couple nice things. Definately worth a visit.
Great local music store! Not only did I get my uke restrung, but I was taught how to do it next time.
Bought my guitar and amp here years ago. Wonderful experience. They really took are of me.
The only place to buy (and service) a guitar or bass!
Great customer service, fantastic selection of guitars and a chill atmosphere. 👌
Sean is a great luthier and charges reasonable prices. hes worked on several of my guitars and has done a great job.
