The order process for the new tread was simple. We gave our info to the super friendly and helpful salesperson on the release day. From there everything was downhill. Our card was charged and delivery was scheduled for this morning between 8-10. Around 10:15 we received an email, not even a call, that our delivery wouldn’t be coming today. Then a second email that it had been in fact rescheduled for two weeks later. They did offer to refund $200 but the fact remains that getting an email after you’ve been up waiting for your delivery is not acceptable. When we called customer service they had no explanation. When we called the store the response was that after you place the order they really aren’t involved any further. Taking our money was the easy part but my warning to anyone considering purchasing is to expect the worst in customer experience from there.

I visited the store ahead of the Peloton Tread re-launch so that I could try out the device. I was planning to order as soon as it went live so I could get the quickest shipping (within 1 week). The associate in the store told me to hold off and schedule a call with him on launch day to place the order over the phone. I asked why would I wait and allow other users to get first in line by purchasing online. He told me ordering with him would put me first in line on the west coast since in-store orders are processed first and receive the quickest shipping time (within 1 week). My shipping estimate is 3-4 weeks and people who ordered online are already receiving their units. I spoke to Peloton support and they told me that the associate did not tell the truth about ordering in-store vs. online. I looked up their business model and in-store associates get paid on commission. Essentially, the associate lied to a customer for their own benefit in a situation where the customer is worse off because of slow shipping times. This review is not about Peloton as a company, but about this store specifically due to their dishonest sales practices.
I was gonna buy one for a few of my family members but after finding out you still have to pay a subscription just to simply ride or run... easy to say, I will never ever consider this company for anything ever again
Great experience. Sales expert was awesome with us, explained everything clearly and let us have our time deciding whether we should buy or not.Went back to the store today and the buying experience was really nice and smooth.
Friendly staff. Make sure to book an appointment to try out their equipment, they are busy almost all the time. Nice place right in the Lincoln Square Mall.
The staff was very helpful on showing us all the products they offer and even demonstrated some of the workout equipment.
My Husband went through 5 interviews just to not get the job. Crazy process being HR to have people spend that much time and be rejected. At least they had the decency to say something afterwards.

Beware of very high pressure sales. We made an appointment to see the Pelaton tread after doing a lot of our own research. We came to simply try the product for ourselves and were constantly talked over by the saleswoman. Our family already owns a Peloton bike and we tried asking about getting the tread without getting the monthly subscription and were continually told that it was stealing from their company and we could if we didnt mind stealing. The saleswoman was very aggressive and hardly let us speak. This experience has made us rethink if pelaton is right for us entirety.
I’m a big fan of the bikes as they’re well made but the customer service here was subpar. They asked if I had an appointment which I didn’t realize I needed. The floor was empty and they looked at us like: we don’t want to waste our time with you. Next person that came by they let in with no questions asked. I’ll buy mine online.

Awful ordering experience, our delivery has been suddenly cancelled the day before THREE TIMES now and I have been on the phone with at least 5 different people. Every time they get my hopes up and find a lucky slot next week only to have it cancelled due to reservation issues, delays at Port of Los Angeles, and someone on the delivery team getting covid. Unacceptable. They make great hardware and software, but the customer service, supply chain, and delivery systems are a mess. I really dont see a reason to keep my order active, they clearly dont know how to run a business.
If I was able to give zero stars I would, after waiting 5 weeks to have our bike delivered, a measly two hours before the scheduled delivery time we were notified via an email that the delivery has been rescheduled for a date 5 more weeks away. After multiple calls I have yet to get a strait answer as to why our delivery was cancelled with such short notice other than “warehouse problem”. When pushed for a sooner delivery date the representative said he can not guarantee we will receive our new bike by the new date and this date was chosen because they must pick a date or the order will be cancelled. If you are looking at ordering anything from Peloton do not trust you will receive the product when they say.
We book an appointment to try a peloton bike. All our questions were answered and my husband and I had an opportunity to try the bike. I will recommend this location if you consider to get a peloton equipment.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM!!! They do not stick to word on delivery date. Ordered the bike on September 5 and was supposed to arrive today and as we were looking forward to it they called and said our delivery was getting pushed back to January 5th if next year. So we already waited 6 weeks for the bike and now only have to wait 12 more. They basically tricked us into committing to buy the bike as we would have went with a different bike from the start had we known the delivery would get pushed back to 18 weeks. STAY AWAY PELOTON IS TERRIBLE FOR THE CUSTOMER
Don’t get caught with the 30 day “risk free trial”. Took 4+ phone calls and an hour of my time to get my money back. Poor customer service.

This bike is way over priced. The financing is done through a 3 Rd party finance company that uses a separate 3rd party verification of your identity. Do not even waist your time with this, your more than likely going to compromise your identity.. I left the store with my account logged in in a store computer saying spend money with my name.
Horrible customer service. Thanks for nothing.
