Came here for breakfast this past weekend, with a friend. All ordering is done with a phone and makes it very efficient and quick. The menu can be pulled up with a QR code and the order is sent to the kitchen right after payment.We ordered coffee, the fried chicken and waffles. The portions were huge and the potatoes were over seasoned and salty but everything worked together well.
To the manager who greeted the customers this morning.I know the restaurant was busy but you need to relax and have fun at your job. Getting short tempered and sarcastic will not elevate your stress.Food was good.Service from other employees was good.Manager needs improvement.
Amazing waffles and good service. I ordered an iced coffee and The Waffler. The coffee was decent, definitely not the best but as the name of the place suggests the waffles are the spotlight here. Great place for a hearty breakfast or brunch. They also have gluten free options. Ordering was done by scanning a qr code so make sure you bring your phone.
The waffles were good but it just did not make an impression. I was expecting so much more. To their credit the potatoes that are served with the breakfast sandwich are out of this world. The plain waffles were just dull. I would give them another chance and order something different. The presentation is good and the place is clean.
IF YOU WANT GOOD GLUTEN FREE WAFFLES EAT HERE.I have yet to actually enter this establishment as I have been ordering online since the pandemic but it has been worth it every time. As I have celiacs I am limited to my breakfast fare. The moment I saw they had GF OPTIONS I knew I had to stop.IMHO I could do without the sides they provide (potato or fries) as they taste over seasoned — but everything else was worth coming back for. My husband and I ordered the BLT which was sandwiched between two GF waffles and avocado added to it. Half a sandwich was enough to feed each of us.The children ordered their own waffle off the kids menu. They love it because they get their own “huge” waffle and there are so many options for toppings (fruit, Oreos, sprinkles, etc).Fast, friendly, easy parking, definitely worth it if you’re a waffle fan.

Weirdly expensive for a breakfast place, and the waffles had like, a weird aftertaste or something? also, their menu system is really difficult to order with. it’s all done on your phone, which can be nice a lot of the time, but if you made one wrong move, and who knows what the wrong one actually is, and you lose your entire order. it was not the worst
Unprofessional service, downright rude. Placed an order for delivery on their website and was given a delivery estimate window of 30-40 min. After I placed the order the delivery estimated time went up by an extra hour. I couldn’t wait that long and wanted to cancel the order. Instructions on the text message confirming the order said to call the store to cancel. When I did, I was told basically too bad, and that I have to contact a third party delivery service of which there was absolutely no mention during the order placement. I had no clue what delivery service to even contact. I was told they can’t cancel the order and was passed on to someone I assume was a manager who told me “unfortunately that’s what happens when you decide to use a third party service” and when I said I did not and, in fact, placed the order directly on their website, he told me they don’t have to serve someone like me who is rude - and hung up the phone!! I called back to ask his name which he refused to give me stating “why do you need that information, what do you think you can accomplish by that”. Wow, it was flabbergasting the extent of crassness and disregard for customer service. I still don’t know if the order was cancelled or if it will be on my doorstep when I get back from getting breakfast somewhere else. Very disappointing.

Their new system where you order on your phone automatically adds tip without even notifying you. It just makes you leave a tip and is very hard to find where to remove or change is this tip. Seems like a very malicious business practice. When I asked the manger for help he was dismissive and seemed to just not care. Everyone working seemed fine it’s just the manager that held this place down the food was great the portions matched the price
Behind the scenes, the owner of the waffler, Paul Ross was removed by nextdoor for being quite aggressive in his responses. If anyone commented negatively about his restaurant, he aggressively attack on them. If anyone spoke negatively about him, he reported it or criticized them. He was a nasty nasty man! (This is my neighbor’s comment - not a comment as a lead).Neighbors recommended to Go to Lil Jons in Eastgate. it’s a long time Bellevue staple and you will be treated with kindness there.
Eggs and bacon cooked well, but the waffles are always to hard, especially after a 5m drive home. My kids dont like their waffles unfortunately; we never had that problem anywhere else.
If you want really fresh breakfast food that super yummy go here. Inside a little shopping plaza area so could be easy to miss when driving by. I had the classic with waffle, egg of your choice and met choice. I had applewood bacon and over medium eggs with of course a light and fluffy waffle. Its a clean space, fun and hip vibe. Staff was really sweet and they had really clean restrooms.
Everything about this place was amazing until I got my food. The service was nice, I loved that you pay when you order so you can leave whenever you want, and the items on the menu sounded good and when I got my food it looked good. But the waffle itself was beyond disappointing. It was way under cooked, chewey, hard to cut and just bad. All other ingredients were good but when you are called the Waffler your waffle should be good. Sadly I dont think I will be back since I paid $25 for breakfast that didnt really get eaten because it was so bad.
The waffler!!! Should try!!!We went there on a weekend morning for breakfast, and it was really good.Its sounds simple but the flavors on the plate come together and tastes delicious.With so much traveling and trying so many restaurants, I can tell some can mess up simple things, so I am glad they dont.The serving is decent size, add avacados, makes the whole thing better. This place has no business calling itself the waffler when they have really poor quality waffles. Probably the cheapest ingredients possible to make these.There are a couple cool waffle themed restaurants throughout Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma,and Portland . Like the Waffle Window, Fats Chicken&Waffles, The Waffle Stop, Bebop Waffle Stop, and many others.Ive been to all of them but this place is the absolute worst you could give a homeless guy a Waffle maker and get a better experience than eating this gross stuff.
Food was great! Mimosas were great (90% champagne with 2 drops of oj lol)! Seating was efficient and open. Ordering system is efficient and tech user friendly. Staff is really friendly- especially the gal with red space buns!! With all that I’d give this establishment a solid 6/5. However, my friend had placed his order, same as the rest of us via the QR code ordering system, but after 35min (the other 5 of us had received our food within 15m) he still hadn’t received his order, even though he had been the first at the table to order. After going up to ask the employees at the front about an eta on his order, he was rudely talked to, and then told his order was non existent, even though he was able to provide his bank statement showing his charge, and a confirmation code confirming the order. As someone who also works in the restaurant industry, I understand that the new technological systems are not perfect, however, it was the reaction of a particular employee(Paul- the owner and manager) that really ended our experience on a bitter note. As he hassled my friend about the order, and tried to ask him to order again, even though he had already paid for the first non received order, when I feel the best way to go about it would have been to apologize and hop on making the order, especially after proof of order had been shown. I would love to give this place another try as this was my first time coming to this establishment and I was here for my 21st birthday brunch, but I will definitely admit that I am hesitant giving the extreme unprofessionalism of the previously named employee.
Worth every penny and very reasonably priced. I got “the waffler” which is their classic meal and it was perfect. The cinnamon sugar on top is a game changer and the raspberry sauce they give you is delicious. Gourmet waffles? If there can be such a thing then yes, these are gourmet waffles. Their hot chocolate is delicious too. You order at the counter and then pick it up when it’s ready. Super casual.Breakfast date? Go here for sure...
I came to the Lake Hills Library stopped by for my Cappuccino and truly loved it :)A perfect blend of the double espresso and steamed milk foam with caramel syrup. Slurrrp ;)The view was also amazing. Even though the menu offered some delicious options I didnt have time to try them out. I am glad I visited the place and would recommend it for Cappuccino lovers
Overpriced and not very good. The server was kind but I expect a lot more from a place with Waffle in the name. Waffles left much to be desired and the smashed potato was the worst version of this trend I’ve had.

Had breakfast here, and it was pretty good! When you walk in, youre overcome with the delicious smell of waffles. So naturally, I ordered the waffles. They were yum! Other menu items include eggs, bacon, grilled cheese sandwich with waffles as bread, chicken and waffles, and some dessert waffle options. All in all, I would recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.

We come here every once in a while and while most of the food is really great, the fries and smashed potatoes are not. They taste like the oil in the frier needs to be changed. That’s why 4 out of 5.
I was visiting the library and needed a place to grab lunch. Im no longer hungry, the portions are generous, however I wouldnt ever come back. The staff isnt very friendly, especially the cashier. The chicken was dry and waffles soggy. The only thing I really enjoyed was the potatoes. Everything else tasted like a meal I could have heated up at home from frozen items. I expected big fluffy waffles and more syrup options for a place that had waffle on its name.
We stop here every time we drive up from Portland. It is so yummy!

The Manager/Owner of this establishment is a middle-aged male. This person muttered a sentence twice to me which is did not understand. I have a difficult time hearing things at times. It is unfortunate that I cannot hear as well as most people, however I am not deaf and can usually hear people pretty well if they repeat themselves or annunciate their words to me. This person would not let me speak, as I was trying to tell him I have a difficult time hearing. Instead of letting me speak, he continually interrupted me repeating something that I did not understand basically spouting what sounded like nonsense to me. I tried to figure out what he was saying but it was to no avail as he did not care what I had to say. I eventually just ignored him as there was a young lady that was working the register/till and I let my partner finish ordering whatever she wanted and completed her transaction. The young lady was fine and did her job very well and was quite nice to us, as much as the Manager/owner would allow her to be. If you are going to spout nonsense to your customers, at least be a decent human being and treat them with respect. I would not recommend this place because of the customer service, because it is not welcoming, and it ruined the experience and food for me and my partner. Not to mention that the food was “meh”, but it is way overpriced for a breakfast place. I would explore other options if you could.
Been here several times, the waffles are always cold. The coffee is water down.
Decent food terrible customer service
I’ve ordered a dozen times from here but will not any longer. There’s always something off about each order and I try to look past it, but today’s order was abysmal. My toast was not at all toasted (paying a premium on white bread, yay!), the sauces were missing on my food, and my coffee was completely missing on my order. Coffee, something very straightforward, is always wrong or missing in 9/10 instances and the food is 50/50 hit or miss. So I’m over it and will be looking for other breakfast spots in the area that have better quality control and that can actually get the orders right.

If I could give 0 stars I would, we got breakfast to go here this morning. They didnt give us silverware so my dad went back to ask for some. They said it was in the bag. I rechecked and there wasnt any, my dad went back and brought the bag saying there was none. The man then freaked out and said he was going to call the cops and tell them we were smoking with the baby in the car. Our food was cold by the time we got to eat it. Terrible service, I cant believe that is how they treat customers over something as little as silverware.

Stopped after a temple trip. It was clean and upbeat. A newer establishment. Waffles were good but they were thin and crunchy and not puffy. Chicken was tasty. Fruits were fresh. Good experience overall.
Customer service was bad before I even got my food. You can be over paranoid and this place is it. Do not take your mask off to drink your orange juice and the restaurant prefer you eat somewhere other than the 2 tables they put out for the hipsters to slowly drink their macchiato. Wasn’t worth venturing out to somewhere new this time
Every time I came here the owner made me feel like hes doing me a favor taking my order. There is something in his attitude/tone that is very off-putting. Not coming here again.
This place ought to be ashamed! The food is mediocre. They don’t use any kind of seasonings. The breakfast sandwhich I had was missing Mayo, the egg was running over! The chicken and waffles tasted very blan, no butter given, no seasoned taste period! Will never be back this is a miss for me!!! Customer service is everything and even that wasn’t close to how I ever want to be treated. The cashier was verrrryyyy rude! Idk why but there was a bad vibe from the beginning as if we were a burden by spending our money to eat somewhere where the food isn’t even great. Seriously will NEVER recommend this place and think they should rethink the way they treat their customers!

Unprofessional and rude. Ive waited to write this to try and rationize this behavior. Maybe they had a bad day or another bad experience with Uber Eats Drivers.I work for Uber Eats. I walked in this restaurant, check the tables label Uber Eats along with the rest. I do not see my order. Get in line, I see another table hidden past the register with a customer there. While keeping six feet I turn my head to see the name and Mr. Seattle Kraken hat looks up from cooking and says hey get back and maintain 6 feet. I do not respond, I just check my distance and still 6 ft. He is not the register/order taker. He looks up again and tells me online orders need to wait at table #2. Even though Im Uber Eats and Im standing at said table. I do what I was asked even though his tone is very Unprofessional both times. I wait and table 2 and the order taker puts the order at the table I was standing at. He says there it is. I said you told me to wait here. Mr. Kraken shrugs it off. I tell him that was rude and I said I maintained 6 feet. All in all the product is great but this guy needs glasses and attitude adjustment.
I was dismayed to learn that the wafler does not allow delivery partners to use the restrooms designated for customers. Delivery partners represent the customer entering the establishment. further, the delivery partner represents the restaurant when they deliver that hot food having taken care of it along the way. especially during this time of importance of sanitation, essential workers should be allowed to wash their hands when they are representing the restaurant and the customer as the delivery partner. Many restaurants closed restrooms to customers and delivery partners alike during the shut down. Now, however since restrooms are open to the customers, they should be open to the delivery partner as well most restaurants do in fact support their delivery partners in This Way.
Waffles were more like rubber
They cleaned off extra tables and put them together when I brought a larger group in. I also felt like their staff was extremely helpful even with my ignorance. They know how to cook their eggs and have a very unique and local spin on cool ideas like sandwiches. I love the use of local shops and the whole concept surrounding this place. I will definitely be coming back here more in the near future.
The best item on the menu is actually the bacon. Its thick and five slices!

This place is great! Due to the covid19, only pickup order is available right now, and the owner is taking an excellent care of the food so you can still get food as good as dine-in food. Today I ordered chitpole chicken sandwich, and it was awesome as always. 👍 Thank you for providing nice quality food during this quarantine time.
$6 waffle and coffee! Scrambled eggs are the best Ive ever had. Waffles are perfectly crunchy. Chicken sausage is out of this world. The coffee is freaky good. They also have a veterans discount!!Only suggestions I can think of, having other syrup options out and would like to see creamier creamer options!
I had the Strawberry waffle and it was so good! Not too filling or overly sweet. Unfortunately our waffles and someone mentioned as they were leaving as well that their waffles were cold. I would certainly give the place another shot though. Its a cute little breakfast spot, the recipes are great, the staff are nice, and I am willing to give it a second chance on the temp thing!
The cafeteria style is very off putting, as you have to get up and get your food after youve already sat down and settled. Theres barely any indication that its cafeteria styled until someone tells you.The staff is rude and seeing the replies of other reviews doesnt inspire much hope.The waffles taste like they are from the freezer and they charge extra for syrup that should be included the already high price of the food.Wouldnt recommend it as its not really a good place for breakfast as it does nothing new and has no service.For the price youd want service but thats not a thing here. Also, the seats are uncomfortable and the decor leaves much to be desired.The place also closes extremely early in the day (2pm on the weekend) and thats a pretty big waste. If they fixed their issues they could have full day breakfast joint which is very much needed around here. Unfortunately, this place lacks in every way possible.

I love the Waffler, the waffles and homemade Jam is super delicious and also their Garlic fries is the best. I drive 11 miles, just to eat there! I took a star out because they are very pricey.

Had chicken and waffles, along with the strawberry waffles. The potatoes were fantastic, chicken was great, fruit was fresh and the whipped cream was nice. Honestly the only bad part about the food was the waffles themselves. Came out coldish, kinda gritty. Youd probably have a better waffle tasting experience at a dingy waffle house at 3am in South Carolina. I recommend drenching in syrup, makes it somewhat better.Probably wont go back, but I dont regret visiting.
I got the fried chicken and waffles, and while the service was great, the chicken seemed microwaved, it definitely did not taste fresh. The waffles were ordinary waffles; you order at the front, and then you can pick up your food when they call your number. Great menu offering creative selections of waffle dishes. I had the chicken avocado sandwich, which was a generous portion and the bread was two waffles! The waffles were nice and crispy, which is exactly how I like them. My husband got friend chicken and waffles and the chicken was juicy and tender. Plus they have Cafe Vita coffee. Delicious!
The place is great. Ingredients seems fresh except the syrup. Its just simple cheap syrup for a waffle store. Also it has more of a restaurant vibe. If it was more cozy and was more like a cafe then it would be perfect. It has an amazing selection for it and being able to finish up work or homework here would make it easier to come.

Found this place from Google Maps actually (its hard to find breakfast places in Bellevue open before 10am, so thanks for that!) The staff was friendly and service was fast. I really liked the potatoes. Bit pricey, but portion sizes are huge. Definitely shareable. All in all, a solid, new-age breakfast joint that could also be great for brunch/lunch.
I had the chicken and waffles and a mimosa. The Chicken & Waffles was prepared differently than what I am used to but it was still tasty. The plates were a good size.

Its our first visit and we loved the place. The waffles were very tasty and the waffle bread sandwich was unique in my opinion. The portion size of the chicken sandwich was pretty big, certainly feeds more than 1 person. In our case it fed 2 of us.The regular waffle with fruit and granola was tasty too. The place was crowdy and full for over an hour we spent. Definitely recommend it.
Food is pretty decent (good waffles and potatoes, bad chicken) and comes up fast. service is spotty (long wait at the counter when you order as well as if you need anything later). cramped/hard to get around when theres a line at the counter. clean silverware had to be replaced as there were large globs of food still on them. prices are a bit high.
The food was nice but nothing special and the staff couldnt have been much less interested in us being there. We had three different plates, and all were nice but they didnt stand out in any way.
Loved it! We ordered multiple items for our company Christmas Party and everyone loved it! The Gluten free option was a big hit! The staff was so nice and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit!

Very expensive for waffle sandwiches...but they are TaStY! We usually share one sandwich between the two of us when we go and we are full enough. Its about $14 for a sandwich with no sides. Any additions (onion, lettuce, sauce etc) adds an extra $2.Place an order at the front and then its self service.I fully support local businesses but this one is definitely on the higher priced end of the spectrum for the cuisine options!
The place is clean and nice, the staff is very friendly. The food, however, is extremely mediocre. I ordered their smashed potatoes, which came out at room temperature despite being a fried food. Got the chicken and waffles, and the waffles felt and tasted like Eggo waffles, the chicken was overdone (but not hot when I got it), and their maple syrup is basically just corn syrup and a hint of maple flavoring. For what I paid I was very underwhelmed. The food was NOT BAD by any means, but just completely not noteworthy in any way. Only rated 3 stars because the staff was nice and the place was clean.
