The baked goods here are acceptable and good enough, it was good in the good old days when they didn’t have much competition.They used to have more options and new favorites, these days they seemed have not improved much. Our favorites are the taro buns and milk sweet buns. I wish they get creative and try more favors or combinations.

Bought their Mango cake and it was prefectly moist and one of the best I’ve ever had!! We went there on a fine saturday morning and were surprised to see the long line ahead of us. Service was relatively slow but the cake was worth the wait. Their breads looked delicious and fresh out of the oven. Visited again on a sunday evening ~30 mins before they closed and was bummed to see most of the shelves empty :(

The bread are so good as what I have in Taiwan, it’s very soft & tasty, feel so homey there!

Buns & pastries were expensive . Buns were very light in weight & small as compared to the price.Good variety of breads but again a little on expensive side. If you have egg allergy theres not much to buy here. Each item had egg & I couldnt get for egg allergic member.Every small item is priced between $2-$5. Big cakes are above $20-$30. But in general I didnt find them worth it.The checkout person was also rude today .I bought the pictured items, good in taste, very fluffy & not too sweet .Almond bun & strawberry cake .If I choose to come back I will rebuy these 2 items only as they are worth it.

Their breads are so fresh and delicious! We love their seasonal mango cakes.

This was my first time visiting! Arrived 25 minutes before closing, knowing stock would be limited, but was surprised to find a decent amount of treats left to try. A bit of a line, but patience is a virtue. The cakes are pillow soft, the creams are lightly sweetened and the presentation makes me feel like Im digging into the pastries you see in lo-fi videos! Highly recommend!

The staff here is amazing and the pastries/cakes are always top tier. The one frustrating part is that they either are never serving drinks or only serving half of their drink menu. In the past month, Ive stopped by maybe 10 times and at least 5 times they said no drinks and 2 times it was tea only. The confusing part is that they constantly have a sign up now that says they arent currently serving drinks, but its not always true... You wont know until you get in line and ask, since I had drinks from there two days ago even though the no drinks sign was up.

They obviously don’t understand what is “light iced”mean. They remade it with light ice, but it came back with seemingly more. I was suggested to get no ice latte tea in the future to meet my light iced tea requirement. Fantastic lesson. Better find another place to get my cup of tea.

I truly appreciate that the store posts a sign that tells people of various religion ie Seventh Day Adventist and Islam that their cakes dont offer non-gelatine substitutes. The price is reasonable as their product taste above average except black forest and pan cotta. I do wish that they can accept the suggestion to extend more (because they normally would add only serve 3-4 fresh bakes at 6:30) last fresh baked servings at 6:30. There were many items that we were looking for here that ran out and unserved even before 6:30 ie taro bread, berry tale etc.

Fresh breaddddd.!! Love all the fresh breads and pastries they have. Quality is great. I tried their rose boba tea and it tasted superrr amazing. It was so good I forgot to take a picture to post it here.

First I came in to get an iced tea with boba and they said they couldnt make it because the barista was on their lunch break. I came back half an hour later and they told me that they dont make iced tea or boba. This place blows!

Its a chain, but the chain as a whole is pretty decent. The egg tarts are great, and most of the other pastries are decent. Its super affordable and theres a lot to choose from.

This 85°C Bakery location is currently (Aug 2020) in soft opening phase with limited hours and COVID-19 preventative measures. (No dine-in, limited capacity, masks required, individually wrapped breads, social distancing, hand sanitizer at entrance).Went to buy a black forest cake, but they had just sold out. We were told that one would be ready soon, so we were able to wait and get one after all. Thanks to Lori for your courteous attention and service!

My fav are eggtarts and garlic cheese bread. Always bought those for a quick snack or before hiking/round trips

Very clean place and the pastries are excellent.. they are not too sweet and fresh. The bubble tea also is good and have multiple flavors/varieties.

Amazing, so so amazing. today was my first time coming here and all of the pastries i bought were incredible! my favorites were the jalapeño cream cheese bread, raisin milk butter, and hokkaido cheese tart, sooo delicious. the coffee brulee cake was also very good, not too sweet, just perfect. one of the best bakeries i’ve been too (especially for the price), i’ve been to various other bakeries (that have been a lot more expensive) and the pastries aren’t as good as 85°C bakery. i will definitely be back

Very good pastry and bread store.

The pastries here are really good. We got a box with a few kinds, and had a nice tea party back at the house (covid times). The bakery was clean, and all of the items are in individually wrapped cellophane packages for peace of mind

The boba and the pastries are all very delicious. I would highly recommend that you come here some time. It is definitely worth your time!

I had hear a lot about this place from a lot of people and finally gave it a try.This was the best decision. We took one of each to try and see what we like and what can be ordered the next time and we literally liked everything, including the bakery.

Pastries are pretty good, but I prefer regent bakery for taste and cost.

Reminiscent of the bakeries in Hong Kong and mainland China, 85 degrees makes for a great treat stop every now and again. A mix of ridiculously tempting savory and sweet delectables are on offer and patrons are encouraged to grab a box at the start of the U-shaped display cases and start loading up. You may be wary on your first trip and snag only a couple of items but will likely be filling boxes on subsequent visits. Grab a box for snacks and desserts, share them with friends, I doubt youll be disappointed.

I love this bakery so much. Theyre always so clean and their food is consistently made fresh. I love it when they yell fresh bread. Theyre very good at following COVID guidelines to keep their staff and customers safe as well. Cashiers are cleaning their counters and card machines surer every customer and the manager is always keeping an eye out for the amount of people in the store to make sure it doesnt go over the allowed capacity. When he sees that a line is building up outside, he will assist at the register to move the customers along quicker. There are so many things to try too that I get excited to go every week and even got my birthday cake from there. Overall, go there and get addicted like I did.

Yummy cakes, tastes wonderful. Took marvellous mango cake, wasn’t disappointed at all. Prices are good too. Tried milk pudding bun, bread, croissant and danish too, freshly made and yummy!

Saturday afternoon, it was packed with ppl in line. Waited 25 mins to get through the line. Bakery are fresh, more on the darker brown color (well-baked) for the crunchiness, comparing to those at other locations.

The jalapeño bun and the mushroom bun are my favorite

The bread and pastries are good but nothing to rave about. Bit on the pricey side. Have not tried anything else on their menu.

They won’t write messages on cakes. Speak very rude, as if their cakes really are that tasty. Just because their place is in prime area, doesn’t mean they have to taste good. They don’t pick up calls, if you want to check something before driving to their place. Their cherry toppings are bitter, chocolate is bitter, I even doubt the quality of the sugar they use. Their cakes have 70% cream to bread ratio, total waste for how the cream tastes. On top of that, it isn’t that they have a competitive price, they have a pricy menu. One thing is that they, do make sure cakes look pretty.I do not recommend cakes from this place.

I visited shop with high expectation, waited in line for 20min, bought pastries (found expensive as well) for my son and daughter. Unfortunately they didnt like the taste. Updating feedback as I visited store after listening feedback from others.

I liked their cakes but the in-store service is bad. I had pre-ordered a cake and need to wait 20 mins at the pre-order counter. Why? Because the pre-order counter was busy serving in the store customers.What I did, try to get her attention polity multiple times. Tried to call the store number no one picked. When finally the counter lady responded her response was “I am busy right now”. Asked her but this is a pre-order counter. Everywhere in posters/signs are placed pre-order pick here. Even signs asked pre-order to enter the store directly without waiting in line. But she seems too much busy providing services, to in-store customers.How long I waited 20 mins approximately on an empty line.

My favorite place to pick up bread and desserts! I always make sure to go in the early morning so I can get the fresh ones right from oven, but the variety of flavors they offer are awesome!

I’m not big on posting reviews but this place is incredible. ‘Was in the area to get lasik and stopped here and was blown away by their pastry selection! Everything I’ve tried so far is amazing, the curry buns especially (which were still warm on the shelf)! This place is a gem. Will definitely be back next timeI’m in the area.

I like 85*c a lot. Their products are fast moving and always fresh. Their cakes have right amount of the Sugar. Neither less nor more. I generally order cakes from them and they never disappoint.

It is really waste of 33$ which we spent yesterday on Red-velvet cake. The cake only looks good but the cake was dry and tasted worst. The cake tasted like it stocked for 2-3 days ago..

Value for money. This bakery has alot of options to suit your pallet ranging from cakes, tea, bread etc. The only down side is not a lot of options for vegetarians

The bread I bought went bad the next day. Very disappointing.

Ordered desserts for delivery. The coconut cream roll was all cake, very little coconut or cream. The chocolate and cherry cake was bland.

Bad service at the cashier! I tried to pay with my AmExp card. Guy cashier (with baseball cap) yelled at me that he won’t accept AmExp card. So I changed to a diff card. When I left I politely said thank you, he ignored me. Very rude! Management should pay attention to this bad customer service manner.

This bakery chain is really popular in my hometown in SoCal but this location left me disappointed. The savory pastries were dry, bland, and overbaked (obvious from their dark brown color) but the tapioca bun was amazing. Next time Ill stick to the sweet buns over the savory ones.

Their bakery goods are second to none! The Mango custard bao in particular are to die for.Want to call out the manager of the restaurant for doing a great job last Wednesday when a white guy in a WSU shirt went in maskless, and when challenged, simply refused to put on a mask or leave.She was scared, but she served him to get him out of there as quickly as possible. Given that there were kids in the store, and who knows if someone like that might be armed, she defused the situation and got on with serving everyone. Its not ideal, of course, but Im glad she acted the way she did.Thank you!

Avoid!Tried to get in and got yelled at to wait outside.Oops, fine, I missed the sign which states “10 people maximum in store”, while there are apparently already more people inside.Waited outside and after seeing a few people exited, tried and got yelled again.Come on, at least send some employees at the door and tell the customer whether to come. Stay in the comfort area and yell at you customers is not good!

I understand this is a new location but all breads were not fresh nor hot. And they over sweeten the iced coffees...the Lynwood and South Center locations are way better.

At 3pm on a Saturday, I managed to buy whatever was left. Not much left, just a grab/go toast, a blueberry muffin, coconut snow cubes, a roll, and one specialty hot drink.What was funny, since we had a rule not to eat in the car, I only had the latte on the front passenger seat and put everything else aside. Meanwhile, my dog was seated in the back, screaming and barking, apparently wanting some boba latte? We had to untie her from her puppy car safety and welcome her on the front seat and had some of tiger boba latte.That was confusing but needless to say, my dog approved this bakery 👍

85°C has a wide array of rotating sweet and savory pastries and baked goods. They also have a cafe with espresso, tea, boba and smoothies. Lines can be long at other locations, but the food and drinks are good and the wide variety of options makes it fun to go back multiple times to try new things. Will definitely be coming regularly once they open

The worst service and management! I arrived there and no line outside, I entered the store some staff yelled that I needed to wait outside since they only allow fixed number of people in store, so I waited until several customers left and entered again, and was yelled by the staff again to ask me out! Actually the number of people in store already exceeded their max which is 10, and no staff outside tell customers when to enter or not! If you don’t want to be yelled out, then skip this horrible store!
