One of my best coffee spots in Bellevue. The matcha and latte is soo amazing to reboot yourself after a tiring day along with the breakfast sandwich. The people there are so amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves coffee. They have alot of space for people to work as well while they enjoy their coffee. The cafe promotes local honey business too which is good to see. Amazing people, amazing coffee and amazing vibes. Thats all you need! ☺️

Bad. My wife and I walked in at 1730 hrs and they had already closed . It was a cold evening & we longed for a hot coffee. I asked the lady behind the desk if she can suggest a nearby coffee shop.She shook her head and pretended she knew nothing about that locality as though she had descended from the moon a short while ago 😳We sauntered out in despair 😞

The baristas were incredibly kind! While the space is small, there is still plenty of room for many guests to sit & work away. More importantly: the coffee was delicious.There are two nearby parking structures, which provide 2 hrs free, followed by a reasonable hourly fee. While there was a line when I arrived, it moved quickly. I tucked myself into a corner of the cafe, admired the art and plants and nearby quiet conversations, and in five or so minutes, my order — a Flat White — was served up.I will be returning!This coffee shop is within walking distance to a few other plaza and parks, so if you’re in the mood for a coffee and stroll, I do recommend exploring the area just north of Café Cesura. :)

I’m assuming it was the owner that poured fish fertilizer in all the plants like a manic crackhead without properly adding water and mixing it into the soil because the place started to smell like aged milk coming out of a Egyptian coffin.That was probably last month. The smell was so bad I couldn’t sit near the plants. It was obviously bad for the workers as they would leave the door open. After the smell started to fade after a week flies started coming in and would hang around the fish fertilized plants, then flies would bother me.Bad smell, flies, I’d rather eat in a gas station bathroom. Get your s*** together.

Very cozy, quiet, usually no queue at all (at least not outside of peak hours), and really friendly staff. They have sitting both inside and outside, and sell a couple of little treats, e.g. a ginger bread.

Been here a few times, the coffee is good. The chai is good too, its on the sweeter side. Not a ton of seating inside, but now that Seattle is part of the tropics, you can sit at their tables outside. Nice place!

This place looked really great online but the experience was not the best.My girlfriend ordered a cold brew and they said they might not have enough but could make it work. The cold brew was about 90% creamer. My girlfriend exchanged it for a drip coffee which they were happy to do but spending $5 for a cold brew and just getting a drip coffee in the end is still not a great experience.We also ordered two breakfast sandwiches and after we paid they let us know that they only had enough bacon for one. When they came out the one with bacon had almost no cheese and the one without bacon had double cheese. The breakfast sandwiches could be good if prepared correctly.I also had to ask for napkins since there were none in stock around the cafe so one of the barristas had to go get some out of storage. If it was busy this would be understandable but the two barristas were mostly sitting on the counter hanging out and no one was in line.Overall a pretty bad experience due to service. Food and coffee could have been good if prepared correctly and if they let us know they were out of cold brew and bacon before we paid rather than give us watered down cold brew and incomplete sandwiches.

Great service. It was a bit louder than I like for dining in or getting some work done, but if you are just looking for a place to get a quick coffee/tea and have a chat with friends, Café Cesura is a great option.

Baristas could not follow the instructions properly and when asked to fix it they refused saying that they have customers online when clearly only one customer is there in line. Also I had one of the worst lattes ever. It just had milk nothing else in it.

Visited on a Sunday mid-afternoon so was inevitably going to be quiet. Great coffee, decent WiFi and great tasting cakes though maybe a bit on the dry and big side... or maybe thats just me being British :)

I havent been here in a minute thanks to the COVID thing, but I wanted to share that Ive only had good experiences here. Such friendly staff, an awesome owner Shawn, truly excellent coffee and very good breakfast sandwiches. Not to mention a very convenient location. Keep rockin guys, Ill be back soon!

Café Cesura is by far my favorite local coffee hot spot. The café is warm, inviting and comfortable, which is a direct reflection of its owner, Shawn. Shawn, purposely has created the café to be the embodiment of one of those places you see in so many Hallmark movies that brings a community together and just makes you smile.

Absolutely adore this cafe in Bellevue. Not only is their coffee absolutely fantastic (hello! their owner actually roasts it), but the vibe of the cafe is so chill and welcoming. Additionally, the owner has been a huge theme player in the Bellevue community since COVID, inviting other small business into their cafe to create a sort of local market. It takes a lot of hard work to create such a wonderful cafe and Cafe Cesura hits all the marks. Highly recommend!

Living across this store is the biggest “L” life had to offer. I have gone to this coffee shop trying a different drink each time, and I always throw away whatever junk they try to serve me and call themselves a coffee shop. AVOID THIS LOCATION LIKE THE PLAGUE!To Owner: Bellevue is too high standards for your mediocre and cheap “coffee”.

These guys know how to make and serve a good expresso. With so much coffee shops around one might think finding a good espresso is not a problem, and yet it is. Café Cesuras espresso wont disappoint you.

My favourite place in Seattle for coffee - right next door to the new Hilton Garden Inn which is also great. You can order in advance and closest to an Australian coffee you will find in Seattle which is high praise! Will back soon!

The cafe itself is nice, taken care of, and well kept. However, when we came there yesterday; they had only drinks and breakfast sandwich. I think that they need to add more sandwiches and more additional or even custom coffee with even more pictures. I also like the location. The top of the bellevue. Plus it is near the Bellevue Square Mall; like 5 minutes on the car from it.

He also called a restaurant support group trolls because they shared his own poor responses to low reviews back to him. Then he insulted folks yet again. No apologies from him, no I messed up and need to do a lot better. Just more anger that anyone doesnt love him or his shop.

As a long time Seattleite who recently started working in Bellevue I was worried I wouldnt find a place that made good espresso. Until I found Cafe Cesura. Ive had multiple macchiatos and a couple lattes, and every time the espresso has been perfect and the milk texture divine. Keep on doing the good work 💕

Coffee WAS great! For the last couple months the barista has changed from the two guys earlier who were super friendly, to a lady who seems least interested in her customers. The cappuccino quality has definitely dropped. Unsure if the prior baristas come in at a different time if the day, but I have reduced my frequency of going to Cesura after getting the unfriendly or bland vibes for the last two months. I still do go there, because I like to support local businesses.

Nice coffee in a relaxed environment. The espresso is great and the flat white was fluffy and smooth still with a strong coffee flavor. Quiet chill music is played making for a perfect work location. Outlets are available and fast wireless charging on some tables.

Some of the best coffee that I have found in the Seattle area. I love getting their 8 ounce latte as it’s a very nice balance between milk and espresso. Also it’s up quite a nice temperature! Not burned. Every time I get it I’m quite happy that I did! Also a pleasant calm atmosphere to sit for several hours and work as I have done a number of times.

I got a cappuccino and an espresso shot on the side to taste. The shot was very sour and not enjoyable to drink. I was a little caught off guard that they did not provide a spoon or soda water.The milk texture in the cappuccino was great though. I think they need to dial in their grind just a little more. Be weary of the sudden increase in 5 star reviews. The cafe is soliciting 5 star reviews in exchange for 5.00 towards an order on Facebook.Similarly to other customers, the customer service I received was awful. The owner is very narrow-minded and makes it very clear only those he deems worthy are welcomed. The coffee is fine but in an area saturated with options, there are far superior choices. Between the customer service and mediocre coffee, I suggest trying Arrowhead. Since the owner likes to accuse folks of not actually going to his store, I went on January 10th, 2020. We ordered one single and one double latte.

Sad to give such a poor review as I used to love this cafe but yesterday the barista was not wearing a mask or any kind of protective gear when I went to the shop. I would hope that the safety of both the baristas and customer would be the top priority but that wasnt the case. The bar is not wide enough for it to be considered safe social distancing.

This is an AMAZING gem of a coffee spot, and it is so close to my house! It is actually incredibly kid friendly (Ive brought my well behaved 2 and 4 year old niece and nephew here as well as my 13 and 15 year old stepdaughters). The staff goes out of their way to be helpful, and they really know their coffee. My lattes are always delicious (and the latte art is a nice bonus) and the milk is heated to the perfect temperature. I especially love the pastries, which pair well with any of their lovely beverages.

I am all about a good cup of coffee and this place does a great job. It is worth the extra walk every morning and I drag colleagues there all the time to step away from the business day. All I want is a consistent quality latte/cappuccino and this is one place that has been the most dependable over the last 4 years or so.

Their hours are always really weird, but it’s understandable no one is drinking coffee after 5/6.Renting out this place after hours is fairly inexpensive so if you have an event coming up check this place out!

Would have easily given this place 5 stars with better service. Our family of four, 2 adults, 2 older kids, came here. Were from Portland and wanted good coffee and pastries. The scones and coffee cake we ordered were great. However, we werent impressed at all by the service. The girl behind the counter seemed annoyed by our presence, maybe because we have kids, I dont know. She came off as bothered when we asked her what kinds of scones/muffins/coffee cake were in the case. I asked for room in my French press which she either forgot in 4 seconds or ignored. Though we ordered plenty of items and wanted to sit and enjoy them, they were all put in bags and paper cups, which seemed to send the signal they were hoping we wouldnt stick around. I asked for plates which a gentlemen behind the counter gave me with a kind apology for not asking before. Food and coffee were great, but get over yourself hipster coffee girl. Youre not cool or cute if youre an ass hole to customers.

I love how this café is a little removed from all the downtown bustle. As a freelancer working here was quite pleasant, the high ceilings and the ambience of the entire place was great. I love the selection of pastries as they have to offer. Parking can be tricky if you need to stay here longer than two hours but that’s my only qualm.

Decent espresso drinks and tea. Baked goods are solid. Nice atmosphere - a great place to meet someone for work. Also a great place to hang out with your laptop for an hour or so. They have breakfast sandwiches too. Staff is always friendly.

I purchased a $40 Groupon and exchanged it for a gift card that does not expired without any issues. The cold brew coffee was pricey but excellent. Did not try any pastries but they looked very yummy. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Excellent customer service.

Industrial modern comfortable neighborhood place that does right by coffee and pastries. Always friendly and nicely prepared. I haven’t had a bad experience and keep coming back. Sometimes I go for a treat as their pastries are very impressive and slightly different than bigger chain coffee shops.

We started with a small accident. A glass of water was spilled on our table and my sister-in-law. It made a mess of the table. Joelle, Emma, and the manager Dave were great. Emma was mortified. The floor manager, not Dave, said put them at another table. He didnt apologize or make any attempt to ask if we were okay, just said put them here.

Good atmosphere. Delicious coffee. They usually have French press available, which is delicious. If youre getting espresso, they also have the option of using a different, higher quality, bean for just $0.25 more!The bathroom here, however, deserves some mention. Although spacious, it feels more like a utility closet (complete with a fabric shade guarding the supplies) than a bathroom.. not all that comfortable, but still usable.

Nice little coffee shop a little walk away from the main downtown area. Also pretty close to the Bellevue Library if youre just in need of a good cup of coffee while reading, studying, or anything. The ambiance is quite nice and its usually not as hectic as your typical Starbucks so Id definitely recommend studying or getting some reading done here. I have the latte with almond milk and it was presented very well. If youre looking for a real good coffee and dont want to break the bank then come check this place out.

Best coffee in Bellevue. Latte texture is perfect throughout, and they keep the temperature reasonable so the milk tastes sweeter. The coffee they use is not bitter, and all-in-all just a great way to start the day. Their chai tea lattes are also fabulous- they dont add any sweetener unless you want it, so you can get all the flavor without crazy sweetness.
