From the beginning to the end-absolutely amazing customer service. Not only do they offer an excellent product, but the knowledge base that these ladies have was unbeatable. I am not someone who is talented in decorating, and these ladies knew exactly what to do. Not only do these shutters showcase from the inside, but also from the out. 10/10 recommendation-stay away from the box stores-worth the wait!

Eye on Design was a great place to work with from the staff answering the phone to the installation. All of the people I interacted with were very professional and willing to help. When Jennaver came to consult about a patio door covering, I also had her look at the dining room window for suggestions. She provided some wonderful drapery samples for the door and suggested shutters for the dining room. Both turned out beautiful. The installer did a great job and provided some useful suggestions for both products. I will use them again for window treatments.

We recently became homeowners and Eye on Design was recommended as our realtor’s go-to for blinds and shutters. We had an initial conversation over the phone which led to a COVID safe in-home walkthrough by the Eye on Design team. The review was extremely professional, and as first-time homeowners we could feel that we were going to be well taken care of! The same day we received our quote. We did go into their showroom to look at options for shutters and rolling blinds, and the team easily handled our changes on the fly without issue. Eye on Design provided us with paper shades that worked wonderfully during the time that our blinds were on backorder. Installation was quick and easy, and only took a couple of hours. We have had the blinds for a week and so far we love how well they work with the interior colors and the feeling of the home spaces. Through the entire process the team took great care of us as customers. We will definitely be coming back to them for our sliding glass door!

Horrific experience. I see there are many great reviews. Yet, my experience is completely different. Hhhhmmmm..... I wonder why? Sent 3 blinds for repair. Had shutters repaired. Some shutters are broken again (no children in the home and my husband and I are the only ones who gently open them daily). 2 days after the blinds were repaired, one was broken again. It was repaired only to break again. Same with another blind. Meanwhile, the owner sends me a steep bill for multiple repairs. Owner was changing the batteries in one of our remote blinds and the blind broke while he managed it. He failed to take responsibility and charged me. When I questioned him about the bill itemization, he became indignant and dismissive. All the while, one blind was still with him for repair! When he FINALLY returned it, he left it on the porch and emailed me later! Horrific people and awful service!!!

Eye on Design installed shades for us in two commercial buildings. They were considered a budget shade but we found them to be good quality and improved the look of our buildings from the street. We have purchased similar looking shades from a large hardware store and there is a noticeable difference in the quality. Our hardware-store shades fell apart within a month. We would have been better off spending a few extra dollars on a basic shade from Eye on Design. The delivery and installation was also good. They came out and measured all of the windows and gave us some good affordable options. Would purchase from this business again.

Jennaver came out to our home and was simply amazing. Our plantation shutters are absolutely beautiful and well made. We love how they compliment our home! Jennaver has a great eye for design! She quickly sized up my personal style and offered great selections that fit our home decor and our budget. Gordon is the installation master ... he expertly hung each window treatment with precision and care and even cleaned up the area (how often does that happen?!). We like to take on home improvement projects ourselves which gives us a sense of satisfaction as well as cost savings. All I can say is WOW!!!! Eye On Design has transformed my entire home! Im over the top impressed with Jennaver & Gordons team and the quality of their products. Each year Ive been having them coming into my home to complete a room with their beautiful shutters on all of my windows. They have now completed all of our bedrooms, den, entryway and last week they just finished our walkout basement. The shutters they installed on our glass front door are a custom fit that attaches directly to the door and has a custom curve arount the handle. So unique! In our basement, they were able to install shutters on our sliding glass patio door! This has made the basement look so elegant ~ I just cant stop looking at it! The shutters can provide total privacy or open up completely to view the patio ~ absolutely an amazing design! Have received so many compliments on all of my shutters! : )I LOVE every room they have added their creatiive touch to! Finally, I can sleep in darkness! I could not be more pleased with the Hunter Douglas Skylift Skylight Shades we just had installed in our bedroom by Eye on Design in Belleville. Quite simply, they do much more than block sunlight—they change the entire ambiance of the room. Rather than simply blocking the skylights, these battery-operated shades seem to make them disappear, giving the appearance and feel of a true ceiling, rather than two bright and chilly recessed spaces.The battery-operated blackout shades block the morning sun, and I can finally get those early morning hours of sleep I was craving. Later in the day, when I want the room to be filled with bright daylight, I simply press a button on the remote control, and the shades slide back, revealing the skylights either partially or fully—much like the sunroof of a car. I feel like I’m on the Starship Enterprise watching these two separate shades slide back smoothly in unison. I am SO happy that I didn’t go the less expensive route and choose pole-operated shades that would have required daily fussy and fumbling with a long stick. What a letdown those would be compared to these super-fun, super-gadgety Skylift blinds. I can’t wait to show them to all my friends. And then install them in my kitchen, too.The enter process, from initial inquiry to final installation, was seamless and pleasant. Remote-controlled skylight shades seem to be a product that is still somewhat obscure, and I called all kinds of companies and chased many dead ends before finding this solution. To say I am happy with them is an understatement. Plus, we get $500 Federal Energy Tax Credit—always a bonus.Everyone on the Eye on Design team has been friendly, professional, accommodating and responsive—Jennaver, Shelly, Steve and the whole crew. I am definitely looking forward to the next project. This could become quite addictive!
