This is by far my favorite Market... Always find what I need, even if its at a bit pricey, compared to other markets. Quality products, but even better excellent customer service. When I come here... I feel like I know everyone! Even fellow shoppers are classy, friendly, and courteous. Im rating only 4 stars because I know this market is great but could be better... Hopefully as good as before the TRUMPDEMIC? Im confident Northgate will be even better than before! Thank you

Food to go is pretty good just always a little too cold from sitting there... but tate pretty good if you looking for an alternative to fat foods for lunch... 8.99 per lbs so lunch is about 14..Łots of options

Horrible bad personal, they need more workers is insane how long it takes for meat department to attend. Bad attitude in the employee’s no management supervision.

Northgate has a variety of foods and good prices. Food is fresh. They have a good bakery and also an indoor Cafe. Lots of prepared hot meats and other foods sold by the pound or in family packages. The barbacoa beef and carnitas were really tasty.

The store is awesome. They have anything you can imagine from mexico and even other ethnic foods as well. The customer service is bad...super bad. The cashiers are rude and long lines. Last time I came here the cashier Patricia P. Was super rude to my mother and me. She was ringing up stuff and just throwing it really hard to get bagged. We spend about $250 every week; I dont appreciate getting treated like that.

I (female) was in the restroom washing my hands when a male employee came in without knocking or at a minimum open the door slightly to say anyone in here. Nothing.. he just came in did something with his manual machine turned around and left. I was appalled. This was very uncomfortable. I did mention to manager.

Horrible place. Employees are very rude and disrespectful towards shoppers. I tried getting some help from the person in charge in the morning and she was very rude and unprofessional she looked at me and all she said was I cant help you I cant give you your money back and turned away from me. I tried getting her attention again and completely ignored me.

IF any one knows the manager girl who has one hand. Can you give me her instagram or fb. Shes real pretty.

I usually do not purchase meat or poultry here but today I did. Today I spent $ 45 worth of ranchera preparadaand it was all low quality. The meat was so hard I was not able to have a bite. When I ordered the meat it looked decent because they put the good meat on top of it, to deceit, they make customers believe that they are getting good quality when they in reality they do not appreciate their customers.In fact the meat looked like it was hammered to make it soft but still was bad. Definately not buying meat from them anymore. Thank you for reading.

There is no one ever there to assist you and when they finally arrive its 40 mins late.. I work around the area, and I always go on my breaks. I love their tellera sandwiches and their coffee but sometimes they make it impossible to get those when theres no one attending you. Cashiers are super slow. I guess I wont be coming to this one anymore.

Got chicken and green chili tamales, I was greatly surprised how good they were. They are not big, however great flavor. There plain white corn tamales are delicious. Cheese and green chili tamales are also great. Oh my gosh they have the best store bought champurrado I have ever tasted. I usually make it, however this year I made some and it went quickly. Since I did not make tamales and bought at Northgate, decided to try Chsmpurado. All my family commented how good it was, just like homemade.

Good location and parking. They have all the essentials needed to make some good Mexican food. This location is a bit unorganized and they have fewer selection on items compared to other Northgates.

I like this store because you can find everything you need there. The employees used to be professional and were kind, now, not so much. Even the manager that was working sunday may 2 in the morning,looks down at people and instead of helping with the bagging they just stare. I like what the store has but not the employees.

Some improvements have been done, but still not enough to keep everyone safe. Some employees are not wearing their face masks properly and are not observing the proper physical distance. Too many people at the grocery section and nobody cleaning the refrigerator handles and not cleaning the bands at cashiers those are always dirty.

Super Market, Nice Service And Good Clean

Right now, due to the very hard situation we are encountering that wherever we go there is not enough food, I would like to say that Northgate has been by far the best supermarket where you can find basic food and healthy food as well. Of course we have to make sure to take what we need and not over do it, we need to keep in mind that other families are in need as well. I give it a 5 start because everyone was very professional and under the circumstances they had great customer service.

Went at noon on Sunday. Very busy. Parking lot was 85 percent full. They sell Mexican food ready to eat. Fresh tamales. Really good. They had several registers open so check out wasnt bad. Good place to shop.

The market was clean and not crowded.

Today I went to their meat department to purchase a few items, they had what I needed but the stale date was January 30, when I asked one of the employees behind the meat counter if he could check if they had more in the back, he went to the meat department manager to ask him, the meat department manager took the expired item to the back and came back to give it to me and said it was a new one but all he did was re-tag it with a new expiration date. I immediately called him out on it and he said it wasnt. I then lifted the new tag in front of him and the old expired tag was under. When I asked him why he would do something like that, he stated that the item was still good and thats what they did. I looked over the meat counter and he had multiple of the same items re-tagged. I spoked with the store manager and he acted like he didnt know what was going on. He ran to the meat department and started taking pictures of the re-tagged items. This place deserves a visit from the health department or whom ever handles this kind of things.Is that what they normally do with all their expired products???I think I should call them. Im sure their camera footage will prove what Im stating.

Northgate Gonzalez Market has been one of my favorite until recently. I have had recent experiences where I am not provided with the expected courtesy that is given to customers in most businesses. During busy times only a couple of registers are open. I have been told to switch lines just when Im about to place my groceries. I also tried to speaking to the manager, Susana in this case, and was treated extremely rude.

I believe that this is a great place to buy food. It has a good Latino vibe. The product is of great value. There are plenty of veggies to choose from at what I think is a good price. Further from that the people who go shopping for food there are friendly locals. The staff are great speaking both English and Spanish. There is plenty of parking space although this market does get full fast. So come on by and buy from our friendly neighborhood market.

Went in during my lunch break to grab a red bull and a sweet bread then waited in the express 10 items or less lane for my entire 30 minute break!!Cashier was charging me $30+ for the 3 items and had to get store manager involved bc cashier was adamant that the total was correct.Not shopping here anymore.

Like that they have food prepared this is hot food. The tamales are okay and the soup is the best 5 to 7 different types of soups. Hot food from carnitas, enchiladas, beans, rice and so on. Its like a nice little Buffet but charge by the pound for the hot food. Seafood from one person to four in packages.
