We recently visited The Chocolate Drop Shop for the first time. The old-fashioned ice cream shop with the counter and stools is absolutely charming. Their assortment of ice cream, shakes and candy is amazing. We definitely will be going back for more visits!

Great ice cream selection(over twenty flavors to pick from), great service with a Soda fountain and old-time candy selection I havent seen in years! We were there late in the day, and only one young person was working, but he handled it well, as there was a steady flow of customers... and he had a smile for all of them! Yep, well be back!

If youre looking to go back in time and also enjoy great ice cream, then be sure to stop by this establishment. (And make sure and try the blueberry ice cream)

This was our lunch on what should have been a short stop in Belfast on a rainy kind of day. But stayed and shopped and talked with locals and then got hungry. Great place. Great portions at a good price. Friendly service.

Very busy little store. Has a small sit down counter for people who want something from the soda jerk machines. The candies are a blast from the past. Cool place to visit.

Walked by on 9/7/19, sign on door listed opening hours for Sun 9/8 & Mon 9/9. Came on 9/8, new sign said closed for cleaning. Came on Mon 9/9 and another new sign stated fall hours-closed on Mondays. Ice cream and candy may be good, and each business must decide when they will be open. Emergencies do happen, but posting the new fall hours a day or two ahead is courteous. Wild Cow Creamery is nearby, and they post their hours.

Every time I go in the store I regress to age 6. I stock up on my favorite candy and hide it in my office desk. Great atmosphere and service.

Lots of delicious ice cream choices. Malts, shakes, floats. All kinds of candy. A lot of nostalgic items. The people who work there are very helpful. Will definitely go back!

My husband and I stopped by as we were traveling thru maine and Bethany made use the best hot fudge Sunday we had ever tasted. Pretty good coffee too. Really nice staff.

Haven candies are usually great but today the chocolate grahams were stale. Friendly staff and well stocked. Like the decor!
