Douglas Everett refinished and repaired my Anschutz 164 Sporter stock into a thing of beauty. All the dings, dents and scratches were removed, along with the original factory finish. He repaired the damaged white line spacer and buttplate at the toe so it looks factory new. The new finish is smooth and soft and brings the grain to life. He also installed sling swivel studs that look factory fresh. I am so happy I found Swift River Gunworks in my search for stock repair. Douglas communicates well, and is a pleasure to deal with. My WWII M1 Carbine had a big crack in the stock. I had it repaired by Swift River Gunworks, it came out great. If you didnt know it was there before you would never be able to find it. Mr. Everett did a great job, and at a very fair price. I highly recommend this shop.

Douglas Everett has for the past decade been the only Gunsmith I have used. I was disappointed by others that worked on my firearms. I have never had reason to be disappointed in with Swift River Gunworks. Douglas has reconditioned old European doubles, rebuilt military collectibles, put choke tubes in modern shotguns and older thin walled shotguns, rebarreled hunting rifles and repaired several cracked and broken stocks for me. He is always a great communicator and completes his work in a timely manner at reasonable rates.
