Brainwave Computers has repaired or upgraded 3 computers for me, and each time the results have been great. Although completion of some work has been delayed by a couple of weeks, Brainwave has been very fair on charges and their work has extended the useful life of our computers by years. I will definitely use them again.

Brain wave computers was great! They communicated the timeframe, cost, and plan well. They kept me updated and were easy to work with. My computer is fixed and faster than before for a reasonable rate. Highly recommend this company.

My computer wouldnt turn on a couple days before I needed to use it for a big exam. Rigo was able to get it working in 5 minutes and they didnt even charge me for it. It was a huge lifesaver! Also the store looked pretty cool so I will definitely go back the next time I need something.

I have a custom built PC and wanted to update my graphics card from a 2080 to 3080. knowing I couldnt find one anywhere ells, Brainwave Computers made sure I got what I needed to proceed with my upgrade. I didnt really agree with the pricing because I have found the 3080 series being sold everywhere for a $1000 less than what Brainwave sells theres for, but all thing said, I did get what i needed and the staff of Brainwave computers were very knowledgeable and reassuring.

I had brought in my computer after having problems with my computer not getting past boot up. In the very first hour they were able to identify the problem, being that the SSD card installed was not set up correctly, and we worked out a replacement that was installed in the same day. Great service and very friendly. The next PC I get will be coming from Brainwave.

I didn’t use their help from start to finish, but I was able to use their help to put the finishing touches on my pc.I was having trouble with RGB synchronization with my RGB hub. Well... these guys helped me find out what cable I needed for it. My hun did not come with one and it was proprietary. We hooked up two different cables instead and it worked! Not a very simple task by description. I have interacted with pretty much all the staff and each of them gave me constructive feedback on how to fix it and we eventually solved the problem!I still took it home to finish, but I was able to identify my problem. So even if you are a DIY kind of PC builder, they can help you with things if you need someone else to help bounce your thoughts off of and they still understand what you are talking about!Here’s the finished product!I wish I could share a video showing how the colors alternate.Thanks Brainwave!

My computer was having overheating issues, and I brought it into BrainWave to have them take a look. They thoroughly looked over everything and recommended the proper parts that the vendor I bought the PC from didnt mention. They fixed my PC within a couple of days, and Ive had it back for two weeks now and havent had any issues with overheating! Very knowledgeable and I will definitely go back to BrainWave Computers with any PC issues I have in the future.

Today I was practicing flying a new Drone that I had gotten for work, being a rookie I crashed it into some trees. I needed help getting the Drone out of the tree and I met Mark at the park while there. I asked if he could help me get it out of the tree and with our hesitation, he went right up the ladder I had and helped me. We had to knock it out of the tree, I tried to catch but it didn’t happen I dropped and I crashed to the ground. I broke the camera and the locking case that holds the battery. What are the odds of running into someone that owns an electronics/computer shop. Mark offered to take it for me and repair it. Went in today to have my computer repaired and looked at but was told I should buy a new computer without even opening my MacBook Pro. Will never go back there again!! Extremely disappointing experience especially after they did a good job of fixing and putting a solid state drive in it 2 years ago. I don’t know what is going on there now, but don’t waste your Time or Money with this company. If I could give zero stars I would.

I msg them before coming here with an inquiry they said they could do it paid the express fee and diagnosis fee just to be told “good luck in your journey” like ok lol I was really excited to go here their pictures show promising stuff but worse experience ever didn’t even fix my issue I could have saved $100 and 2 days of my time by avoiding this place.

Really cool environment, I was surprised by the unique layout and decor. I brought my laptop in to find replacement screws. Two employees helped find wheat sized screw fits. It is a unique screw to fit hinges to a cover, so I was surprised when they had what I needed. Needless to say they were very helpful and had a positive vibe the whole time. Only suggestion is to keep all the various types of screws a bit more organized.

Broke my laptop screen awhile back. I really needed it done fast and they delivered. I havent had any issues with it. The process at the shop was easy and while I waited for the part(the only thing they couldnt rush understandable though) I used an extra monitor. The process without including the part shipping time it was around 5 hours. The guys set me up in the queue and ordered the part, once it got there I dropped it off and was called back later in the day to pick up.

I had a 5-year old Lenovo laptop that had become so slow it was unbearable. I was about to purchase a replacement when my daughter suggested I contact BrainWave to see if they could resolve its issues.After a quick phone consultation, they suggested that replacing my old spinning disk hard drive with a new solid state drive could resolve my issues.A new SSD and a reload of Windows 10 and my Lenovo is better than new. Boot up that used to take 10 minutes, now takes a few seconds. Im a happy camper and will use BrainWave next time I need computer repair or upgrade.

I came in looking to update my old desktop computer. After listening to my needs and making suggestions, Shawn set me up with a refurbished computer at a great price. He even installed extra RAM free of charge while I waited for it. They warranty the computer for a year, and even have a trade up policy where full price is applied toward another machine within a year if desired. In an era of online shopping, I highly recommend buying a computer from Brainwave instead. You can speak to an expert in person and dont have to worry about being sold something that you dont need.

I recently bought a new graphics card for my PC and I started to tear into my rather old set up and realized I kinda F upped really bad! So I brought it to BrainWave! I’m brand new to PC gaming and needed some info and recommendations. These guys are amazing and their knowledge bank is huge! I just finished building my first PC since 2004, and was running up against a brick wall unable to get the machine to POST. After hours spent combing Reddit and various forums, it became clear that I was either not successfully updating the motherboard BIOS, or the board itself was bad. But I didnt have enough extra components to test it, so I called up Brainwave and asked them to diagnose the issue.After first suspecting the BIOS - its a common problem - they determined that the board was in fact bad. Their diagnostic fees were waived when I asked them to just install a new board and update the BIOS. Kevin, my contact, was very helpful and informative, and he made sure I knew where the computer was at each step of the process.I wholeheartedly recommend Brainwave if youve got computer problems, if you need a little help, or if you want them to build you a new box.

Recently, my computer locked-up on me and after several of my own attempts to fix the issues, I took it to the very talented staff at BrainWave.Normally, I would have had to leave it for a week or two for them to diagnosis and fix the problem, however, I was heading out of town in 2 days and needed to take my computer with me. Several of the staff jumped in and found the issues, gave me a couple options to fix the problems and promised to have it back the next day! They delivered on their promise, didnt charge me for the expedited service and it has worked great ever since! Thanks again to the great staff at BrainWave.

I have a brand new Lenovo thinkpad that I dropped one corner about 4 inches off the table and the screen went black. I could only get a very faint display nothing that would work. I called and the guy I spoke to said he was sure they could help. I brought it in and they took about 10 - 15 minutes to figure out it was a loose video cable. I asked what I owe and he said how about a nice google review. Cannot thank them enough and the price was sure right! I have used them in the past as well and always had great customer service. I highly recommend a good honest company.

Sure i can elaborate. I am a customer who was serviced a year ago. I was on vacation and needed my screen repaired. You guys shipped it to me later and all seemed fine. However after a few days my screen came out due to the screen adhesive not even being applied to the device. Come to find out a screw was also missing on the inside. I took it to a local shop in my hometown where they pointed all of this out. I was reminded of this negative experience because the screen that you guys ordered, as the replacement is defective. The touch screen feature will cut out for a few days than come back at random times. The screen also slightly flickers in brightness when at max brightness. However i understand that i wasnt able to bring it back to you guys and have you take care of things and you guys refunded the service charge. So it seemed unfair for me to deem you as a 1 star service. However the lasting effect of a poor quality replacement is still something that last to this day.

Was installing a liquid cooler and one was the cables wouldn’t connect and thought the company must’ve sent me wrong ones but once i bought my pc and showed them the problem they showed me how to install it and basically told me i did it right, also told me a little history about this place because i barley heard about them but the guys are very friendly and the shop looks cool af,it’s like walking into a auto shop but computers instead

Honesty and Trust matter most when dealing with a company. Mark took the time to explain what devices and components work with my Son’s gaming computer, which would improve the experiences, which would be a waste of his funds, and what they could do to help. Even though the first visit didn’t fix the problem completely we are confident in the capabilities of Mark and his Team.

I brought my computer in for repair and it took brainwave 3 weeks to give me a completely incorrect diagnosis. They returned the computer claiming it was working, but I took it home and it was not. I had to return it to the store to try to get my money back or get a correct diagnosis, but I ended up with another incorrect diagnosis and no refund. They tried to get me to spend $300 to fix this issue that was not even the problem. I will not be returning to this store and I hope no one else wastes their time and money here.

I had a flickering issue with my laptop and I needed it fixed ASAP so I was told it would be fixed within 2-3 days and it would cost $150. So I paid them $50 for what I thought was the diagnostics fee. Two days later they call me saying it needs a part and it would cost 300 something and would take 1-2 weeks. At first I accepted it, but then I cancelled. So when I went to go get my laptop, they tell me that I need to pay $50 for the diagnostics fee. So, the first $50 was actually the Express (2-3 days) fee. Basically, I ended up wasting $100 for nothing. Need better communication.

Ive been trying to solve a very niche issue with a fresh build not POSTing past the VGA check. I needed some motherboard standoffs and after going to multiple places these are the only guys that had what I need. Whomever helped me, I think Joshua based on the cert behind his desk, even took the time to run through my troubleshooting tips with me. Daniel on the phone was also helpful this morning. If I cant fix this build issue on my own my PC is definitely going to them for diagnostics and repair. This is a whole league above places like Geek Squad.PS the inside of their store is incredible

Not very helpful. I needed a wire for a game console and I called in advance someone told me to come in that their sure to help and when I did, guys inside didnt even want to look at the pictures to see if they can find a cord / wire. So I wasted time driving there. I dont remember who it was. I was there about month ago. Just be nice if they just took the time to look and give me options .

Dropped custom pc off for a troubleshoot of motherboard and gpu. Quick 10 minute trouble shoot. They seemed backed up on orders so it was a 1 week wait on a 10 minute troubleshoot. 11 days later they still havent touched it. They seem inefficient on working on PCs. Picked it up after not wanting to wait any longer. Took it to computer Renaissance and they diagnosed it immediately and had it fixed in 2 hours.Store looks cool but I wouldnt go here for PC repairs

I went into this computer store yesterday, and was incredibly impressed with the staff, their willingness to help... and during this time of social distancing... were doing well with keeping folks 6 ft apart, even to have some wait outside. I know almost nothing about computers, so just wanted something for my limited needs. The guys (especially Daniel) were very knowledgeable, helpful...and didn’t burst out laughing with some of my ridiculous questions!🤣 They are a professional group, very willing to assist people in whatever need. Asked for a chassis fan for a z440, guy sells me one it’s the wrong fan, when I come back they say the box is beat up (the box was already taped up when I bought it) and tried to charge a 15% restocking fee. It couldn’t be true, but it was. My i-phone notified me that a new OS upgrade was available, so I downloaded it. It appeared to load alright, but it displayed a high contrast color image making it impossible to use the LIFT App. My Phone and I drove to BrainWave, Scholls Ferry Road in Beaverton in a panic arriving just as the store opened. The staffer, listened to my story, indicated that he knew what was happening and in three minutes it was running properly. I got LIFT reservations just in time and had a great day. This is the fourth time I have gone to BrainWave for service. Each time I was acknowledged and met with a “can do” attitude. Each time the work was done quickly, at a competitive price. I am sorry to say other vendors have not performed as well. BrainWave has two offices and work on both computers and phones. I highly recommend you try them out for small or big issues. The are friendly, smart “dudes” who really care.

Scalping 3080s for 1700$. Thats worse than any ebay scalpers Ive seen to date. The fact that they think somebody would be ignorant enough to pay that really shows how much they care about you, the customer. DONT GET SCAMMED

I was struggling to get Adobe Premiere Pro Video editor to work on my previous computers (make a change and wait half an hour for rendering of raw video).I saw Brainwaves ad on Instagram and went in and talked with Daniel. I asked him if they could build a computer that would run Adobe Premier Pro while editing 4K videos, he said absolutely! He asked me what I wanted and basically the only info I gave him was when I click the mouse I want the editing changes to be instant, he again said no problem. I then told him I didnt want to break the bank on this computer, he said that might be a problem.Daniel asked me to give him a couple days to put a bid together and I went home. He got back to me with a price in my budget which included all the features I wanted. I said build it!About 10 days later I got an email and phone call saying the computer was built and ready to go. I went in and saw the computer and knew I was looking at a Super Computer! Got it home and loaded all my programs/apps. I wanted to give this computer a hard test drive so I started loading a 28 minute raw 4K video which wouldnt even load on my other computers......43 SECONDS!!!!BAM!!! These Guys know their stuff, are very conscientious, and a pleasure to work with!!! I highly recommend Brainwave for all your Super Computer Needs!!! Great Build and Very Happy Customer!!!

I cant say enough about the great experience at this shop--from the phone conversation with the enthusiastic, Tom; the 70s music in the shop; to the technical support from Daniel. I needed to install a new hard drive in my HP laptop. Ive done this before so it should be easy--not really. I couldnt figure out how to open the thing. Daniel knew exactly where those extra screws were hidden, how to open the case, replace the hard-drive (added spacers to get things to align), then put everything back together probably better than before (who knew there is something called vesa tape). And to top it off, they only charged for 1/4 hour of shop time since thats what they quoted. Ill be back the next time, I need a PC repaired; or one of my kids needs their out-of-warranty Apple product fixed.

I was given an estimate that my build would be ready to go in a week, ended up taking almost 4 weeks. That being said, everyone I spoke to was friendly and more than willing to help me out, since I’ve had my build back I haven’t had any problems. A reliable repair shop despite the miscommunication of timing.

Had a 10 year old HP Pavilion laptop, 2009 model, due for upgrades:Hard drive, memory, and OS.Reasonable price, excellent service.Only recommended what was cost effective and they completed the service sooner than quoted.MY GO TO COMPUTER NERDS FROM NOW ON.

So I dropped my computer off here 13 days ago for a service they said would take 3 to 5 days. After 3 phone calls listening to them tell me they didnt know where my computer was I went back to get my property. I got one excuse after another and then had to pay them for a service that was never performed in order to get my hard drive back. If you want terrible customer service zero communication and loads of stress wondering what theyre doing with your private information then these are your guys. But honestly I feel robbed and extremely upset. Now I get to go through all my passwords and info and make sure its changed so I dont get hacked by these quacks. I always try to support small local businesses but Im so bummed right now. Unfortunately this was a horrible experience. Hopefully all my memories and photos arnt lost on this hard drive they charged me for after waiting 13 days for service they said would take 3-5 I wouldnt have minded waiting if someone would have given me a call to tell me it was taking longer. But they never called never gave me a receipt and didnt know where my computer was when I called. Thats a terrible feeling.

Im not a young guy and not much of a technology wizard. I have an older laptop computer and wanted to have it upgraded to be able to run Autocad. I first dropped in and talked to Mark Gibbs about my intent and needs. He told me to bring in my computer and hed let me know whether it made sense to upgrade. Mark was very professional and not condescending in any way. He answered all my questions and gave me advice about software I was about to purchase. I brought my machine in and the upgrades were made in the time frame he had projected and for the amount quoted. There was follow-up to check my satisfaction and answer any questions I had.I am very satisfied with BrainWave computers and really glad I chose them for help. Mark and his technicians are highly competent and I would recommend them to anyone with computer related needs. They also offered refurbished and updated equipment for sale at good prices. I brought an atypical piece of equipment (a headphone amp) to this store for Josh to repair as it needed soldering to fix it. The unit still misbehaves a bit, but Josh was very friendly and explained what the next step in diagnosing it would be. Its unfortunately not worth spending more on repairing it, but I appreciate the help they offered here. Im an OIT IT student and can say that the rest of the staff is also clearly quite knowledgeable about computer and mobile device repair.

The staff at BrainWave was competent and courteous. I used their Express service and had my computer back, fully functional, in 24 hours.

These guys did a good job fixing my laptop and in the end they did a good job.

First of all, the atmosphere is great. When I walked in there was a lot of cool computers, comfy seating, fish tank and lots of neat star wars/pop culture items. It was a really friendly and chill feeling place, and it set my mind at ease.staff greeted me warmly, chatted with me casually and didnt try to beat around the bush, which was great. They didnt treat me like a child, but they didnt try to throw out a bunch of technical terms, they really know how to talk to people about computers!They were fast, efficient and very thorough with diagnostics and repairs. I love their system of having a ticket and getting live updates/emails/SMS alerts, the communication was great and was one more thing to set my mind at ease.Prices and policies are fair and good, and I never felt like I was being ripped off or taken advantage of. definitely going back there for all of my computer needs!

I found BrainWave computers through a friend who highly recommended their services based on their experiences. I brought my laptop to their shop with a hard drive that had failed. All my documents hadnt been backed up. I told them I needed to retrieve all my documents & contacts. Mark & his staff installed a new solid state hard drive into my laptop with a new external hard drive AND recovered all documents, files and contacts...They did an excellent job very quickly. Im happy to refer BrainWave computers to anyone I meet. Mark and his staff are top shelve in my opinion...

My 2014 MacBook Air battery decided it could no longer hold a charge. I’m a realtor who is on their computer from sun up to sun down. All the big name companies were backed out weeks. I reached out to Brainwave after receiving their info from a fellow broker. I called them on Friday, they orders the battery, called me on Monday when they received it, i stopped by for about 30 min while they replaced the battery and cleaned my computer. It’s been two weeks and the battery and computer are working great! Thank you!!
