Kimberley, the manager (I presume), is unpleasant and impolite. I am currently ill with covid. I called to explain my situation and why I hadn’t paid. However, not only was she impertinent on the phone, she wanted to put her delivery men and herself at risk (once again) by picking up my furniture. She was so rude over the phone, I couldn’t tell her that I’d been exposed (without my knowledge) and diagnosed. I wanted to say something to her, (since her guys had no mask on, when they were here; they’ve now been exposed too) If you can, go to any other location, you should! I won’t fault the chain as a whole; it’s not their fault that the person hired to be a manager is extremely discourteous. I wish that I could upload audio as part of my review, because I’m sure many of you would agree.I do not need to (& I refuse to) deal with Kimberley’s sardonicism. I’ll continue to pay online or go to other locations. I’d urge you all to do the same. Again, I don’t fault the company for her behavior. It just shocked me that 1) she’d put her guys at risk and 2) the lack of class and decorum when speaking to a customer.

Im not going to lie.. Ive been an extremely disrespectful, bratty and all around difficult customer right off the bat.Complaining when there was nothing to complain about - for example - when it turned out I didnt have to make a payment on one of my items until next month.. I was upset everything wasnt due on the same day.Everything is due on the same day like I requested, I just had to pay less this month.. which is obviously ideal.Regardless of the circumstances in my life this week that led me to project such cruddy energy on this team.. It was excessive and unnecessary.. and they were absolutely phenomenal.Each and every member of this store stayed patient, positive, and explained things in various ways until I fully absorbed it.I am disappointed in my behavior. However, I am utterly grateful for their consistent impressive customer service and extremely satisfied with the new additions to my living room (75 Samsung smart tv & a beautiful black entertainment stand with an impressive electric fireplace).Id give 10 stars if I could.

Ive dealt with a few locations over the years but I really love the staff here. The manager and his staff go that extra bit to always make sure we were happy with our purchases and help in any way they could. When I was struggling they were understanding and did everything they could to help us keep our furniture and really came up with different options that worked for us.. I understand a lease-purchase isnt right for everyone but Ive always found Rent-A-Center to be fair with me and absolutely fantastic in a pinch! Ive furnished entire homes with them and never regretted it.

Very VERY poor customer service! Especially when it comes to payments. I was four days late in a payment didn’t care about a late fee, because I was in the hospital just having my newborn! I came home the guy had the audacity to call my phone repeatedly? I didn’t even know because I had my phone off in labor and delivery. I came home from the hospital not yet having a chance to get online and pay (not on my list of priorities, seeing as I didn’t mind paying a late fee, recovering from childbirth and taking care of my newborn was)I don’t recommend this particular place because of the management

Everyone here is great, helped us find a tv that would work with our budget. We also have other furniture. I saw the reviews that said the manager is rude that was definitely not our experience will definitely continue doing business here.

What you did for me and my mom, was above and beyond!!!!UPDATE 9/14/2019Once again this store never ceases to amaze, GREAT care of customers. I found out on a Saturday @ 4:45 I would need to care for grand-kids for a week or 2. Not only did they find me bunk beds, they are delivering and setting up Monday before noon. Beds will be in place on time and ready for our first night with them. I want to personally thank Kyle and his team for always providing great service with a smile!!! Thanks RAC

Got off on wrong foot at first. But, just make your payments on time, they are great. Purchased many items here. 90-day same as cash. Now 6 months same as cash. Cool stuff.

Gerardo the store mng is a rude man, when calling hes very hostile and wont let anyone speak. Catches way to much attitude. Calling someone a liar but doesnt check staff notes. Screamed at me and said he was picking up my stuff today even tho Im at work. Nor would he give me a number to call his boss. When I said ill have my husband call he hung up while i was still speaking. How dare him refuse my payment and tell me its not his problem.I will be going way above his title and continue to follow up on it until hes talked to. His attitude is disgusting.

Our refrigerator is not working And was going to take a week to be fixed. I called them to get a rental until repaired. After finding out that we were going to lose our food if we did not get a refrigerator quickly, they arranged for delivery of refrigerator within the hour. Theyre great customer service helped us save our food and the accompanying inconvenience. All this was done without me asking. Great stuff!

Made the mistake of purchasing furniture and electronics with this store! I was a customer with them for years, when I hit some financial hardship and they started harassing. Showing up at my work, calling non stop. Never again. And I’ll be sure let everyone I know to stay away. How upsetting.

Yikes, don’t do it just buy furniture somewhere else. You pay for “insurance” on your furniture that is not refunded to you once you pay it off. The furniture available is subpar, broken, falling apart cheap looking for high dollar amounts. Parts that need replacement take weeks to come in. Just don’t. Please.

Just don’t go here. Spend the extra 45 minutes at Ashley. Maybe then they’ll tighten the screws all the way into your kitchen chairs so they stay together.

I love this place! I have gotten everything here like a fireplace, ps4, lab top, bed frame, sofa, bed and a beautiful table. Next is a tv. What a great place. They help me everytime.

Gerardo, The Store Manager is the rudest person I have ever met, worst communication skills I have ever encountered when dealing with a Store Manager of a very large corporation like Rent A Center. I am nearly done paying off my product and I will never do business with this place again nor refer any of my friend or clients their way. Harassment is never okay when dealing with customers, I would know I myself am a Sales Manager of a large group of guys and would never deal with my customers the way this guy does. My Recommendation? Lay this dude off, he needs a job in warehouse where he doesnt have to deal with the public. Secondly the sales rep that signed me up assured me that it was an old form that I was signing that said I would get there loyalty program at an extra 5 bucks a month. Come to find out I have been paying for it for nearly nine months. Terrible way to do business and I hope people wise up like me and stop giving you the business in the first place. Karma always comes to these kinds of people..

At first staff was very friendly and helping with getting on board. But since have not been very helpful and their communication skills need a lot of improvement. Id suggest going to a different store location.

Great experience i use to Aarons and Geraldo was the manager there. Geraldo came to rent a center and i followed him. He had great customer service. Help me many time when i struggled. As long as i called and spoke about my unforseen finacial problems. We worked thing out till i caught up. Because of him and his crew i own 2 big screen TV s, couches, beds, mattresses, desktop computer, 4 laptops, rugs, end tables and lamps. Almost my house is furnished by Rent a center. So thank you Geraldo and crew!

About 9 months to a year ago I was a customer at this store. While a customer I had asked not to be called for anything unless I was past due and they followed this pretty well. Since I have not been their customer I have been called on a regular basis trying to get me to come back. I have called several times and asked them to remove me from their list to no avail. I had to go as far as to block them from my phone! Tonight I receive a VM from Rent a Center and called back asking once again to be removed from the list. The guys that ansered the phone was very rude to me, very short. After I gave him my name and number he finished with There, you have been removed and SLAMMED down the phone. I have used Rent a Center off and on for 15 years or better but very seriously doubt I will ever go back after that.

Manager is abusive, belittling, and disrespectful, and when called on it, manages to belittle you rather than apologize. Will not be doing business again. If this is the way they treat customers, we refuse to be their customer.

Can stand the manager and his costumer service. And finding out he came from Aarons explains a lot.
