I stopped in on December 16th to get my wedding ring resized. I told the lady working whose name escapes me what time frame was for the service. She said a couple weeks. She asked me if I was in fear of losing it. I told her that I lost weight and the ring has slipped off my hand several times. The ring means a lot since it was my Dads wedding ring and this was the evening before his funeral viewing. After telling her this she said can I see your ring for a second? I turned it over and a few minutes later she came back with spacers in the band so it wouldnt fall off my finger and the funeral. This was not a Kay ring but they helped anyways. I bought my wifes ring at Kay 4 years ago and after tonight, they will always get my business. Thank you Kays at Fairfield Commons.

My fiance had a terrible experience at Kays In the Greene. He was so unhappy with the ring and wedding band he purchased and was given false information more than truth. Rex and Rebecca made it right! They showed us our opinions and made my dream ring! Thank you so much!
*UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE!*The beginning of our experience was very unprofessional, however, towards the end of our visit at the jeweler, it was a train wreck! (Scroll down further if youre interested in seeing the chaos!)I took my girlfriend to look at engagement rings today, and we were disappointed by how unprofessional this store was. Firstly, the employees were not dressed formally at all (the way you would expect from a jeweler). Instead, the employees were all dressed very casually with branded T-shirts and sweaters. A very young employee showed us a selection of engagement rings, but he knew very little about the rings. He specifically could not explain to us how a karat of diamond was measured, something you would expect any jeweler to know. After only about a minute of our conversation, he repeatedly said I know exactly what you would love! And he continued to pull out big expensive rings while we *repeatedly* told him that our taste was in a smaller, more affordable option. He seemed to have NO interest in what my girlfriend was looking for in a ring, because he kept telling us his preference by saying, you know, this one right here is one of my favorites.However, this employee was very inexperienced as a jeweler AND as an employee in general. He continuously used explicit language while sparking up casual conversation with us. Since my girlfriend and I are both very young (early 20s), it seemed like he showed us less respect than a normal customer (perhaps someone in their 30s+) by acting like we are all pals because of our closeness in age. His language and conduct was completely unprofessional! Regarding this employee, my girlfriend says, he ruffled all my feathers!Not only was this employee giving us a hard time, the manager kept trying to close a sale while we specifically communicated that we were not planning on purchasing today. They seemed to only care about the sale and not the customer!Yes, the products and prices seemed to be very nice. But customer service may be just as important as price!TRAIN WRECK ALERT!!!Remember that super unprofessional employee from earlier? While we were walking out of the store, he invited ME to come over to his place and play video games with him. He asked, how old are you? I said I was 20 and he responded, ohhhhhh ok I guess I can just order pizza! I drink like a fish! When I have my friends over, I usually recommend a hard gin!What employee at a jewelry store would make a conversation like this?
Bought TreOnna a ring 💍 and had it delivered
Terrible service. Got a set of necklace and earrings for some special event. Necklace was broken, came there to fix it. They could not find me in their database. Ok, I paid for the fixing. Came today to get it, the lady was not polite at all, gave me my necklace in a little destroyed plastic bag. Really? Why you are so cheap? Was looking for Bulova watch for my husband, will definitely get it in another place. Disgusting to get anything else there.
I ordered two pair of ear rings, one pair was to be delivered in 4 days the other in 7 days. The store was to call when each pair came in so that we could see them. 12 days later and the store still had not called to let us know about either pair. I called and the first pair never came in and they were going to look into and call me back. The other pair was there but they never called. The manager sent ma a picture through text message and then I asked her to price check them since it had been so long. She verified the price over the phone. I never received a phone call back from the store on the second pair of ear rings. I sent my son to go pick up the earrings and he paid in cash. I looked at the receipt when I arrived home and they charged him more than three times what the price that was verified on the phone. I immediately called the store and explained the situation. They said to bring in the ear rings and the receipt and they would refund the overcharge. So My son went the next day to get his CASH back and was told that they didnt have enough cash in the store to give him a refund. I then called to speak to a manager who offered a check from the home office that would take 5-7 business days to receive or that they could call another store close by to see if they have the cash to give him and then he could go pick it up there. WHAT? No cash available in the store so I have to drive to another store to fix the overcharge that the store did. So now I have called the operate office and they basically stated that was the policy, a 7-10 check or to have the customer drive to another store to receive a refund. I have left a voicemail with the district manager but again I am not very hopefully that this will be resolved easily. GO TO ANOTHER JEWELER AND GET BETTER SERVICE!!!! KAYs is a joke
Rex, Rebecca and the entire staff are absolutely amazing! They took the time to figure out my style. They never pushed my budget. Went above and beyond to help with this purchase. Also the staff their is amazing with kids. Especially my troop! I will keep coming back to this store and this store alone for all my jewelry
I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff at this store is! My girlfriend and I came in to shop for rings, and Rebecca wound up designing custom pieces for both of us that we absolutely loved! She was there every step of the process, showing us 3d models of our pieces before they were ever cast and making sure we got exactly what we wanted. I just stopped by today because a stone fell out of my ring, and while I expected it would have to be shipped off for repair, we were sitting at the food court and Rebecca comes over with my ring, all fixed up and super secure! She didnt want me to have to go without it for the 3+ weeks it would take to get it fixed.Everyone at this store is so nice and friendly, too! I would gladly come here for all my jewelry needs, and wouldnt hesitate to send my friends here either!

Absolutely the worst buying experience Ive ever had.I went to this Kays to buy an engagement ring and hers and mine wedding band. The staff are very friendly but dishonest and very forgetful. There is a communication problem with them or their shop they go through.Lets start with her ring.Once I purchased the engagement ring I had to wait for about 4-5 weeks to get it, which is understandable. But when I went in to get the ring it was completely wrong. Wrong color gold and they forgot the halo. So I had to send it back and cancel a engagement party. I received no calls or updated on the ring. I had to call them to find any information out about where the ring was. Got the ring back a second time and it looked great. After I gave it to her I find out it was 2 sizes too big. They mistyped the ring size in when it was right on paper. So I had to send the ring back AGAIN and when I got it back the band is noticeably thinner than it should be. So Im going to have to send it back for a fourth time to get that fixed.By this point I have called costumer service twice and have two complaints filed.Now lets get to my ring which was purchased on the same day. I didnt receive any information on my ring what so ever. It took around 3 month just to get a wax mold in and they had that completely wrong as well. I have went back and fourth with them between phone calls to the store, costumer service and the district manager for over 3 1/2 month and I had enough and canceled my order. Which was the best decision I could have made.I will never recommend this store to anybody. I will never step foot into a Kay jewelers. And after hearing my story everyone that hears it will never shop there again.I hope someone important reads this and fixes that store.
We have shopped here many times...today I was buying a watch for my husbands birthday. The sales woman could tell me very minimal about the watch, pressures you into the service warranty when it’s really not even that good of a warranty and I felt very rushed out the door. I was frazzled by her service that when I got home I realized the watch was scratched on areas and it was unacceptable for a gift and the amount of money spent in their store. This will be the last time I buy something from this store. Better customer service is expected Kay Jewelers if you’d like to keep your customers.
Took my wifes pearl necklace here to have them fix the clasp. They had to send it out to see if they could fix it. Two weeks later they say it will cost $450 to fix because they have to re-string the pearls. I told them no thank you and asked to have it sent back. Took it to Stafford Jewelers and they fixed it on the spot for free! Staffords has a new customer and Kays has just lost one.
I am VERY disappointed with this Kay Jewelers at Fairfield. I stopped in to look at engagement rings with my girlfriend, as she picked one out that she liked. They tried to strong arm close me and then had my girlfriend at the other end of the desk filling out a credit application when she had no intention to purchase anything. I will NEVER be back to this place.
Very very disappointed. We were going to purchase a tennis bracelet but when I handed the clerk my coupon for a $100.00 she rang my purchase up and then let us know she couldnt use my coupon because she already discounted it 25%. No where on my coupon does it say it couldnt be used if there was a in store discount. We have purchased alot from Kays but tonight was a very big disappointment. Also 4 clerks in the store and the only one that was friendly and that had asked the others to go get the manager which they would not was the one waiting on us and she then didnt attempt to go get her either. We live 2 hours away and have always went to Beavercreek Kays but NEVER again.
February 15th my now husband went to Kays to purchase my engagement and wedding band. He made a few minor changes to the design and on the receipt it said the ring was guaranteed by March 10th. He made several trips checking on the ring after the date promised. Fast forward to the end of May. We find out that my husband maybe the playing overseas so we play in a very quick wedding for June 1st. Still no ring still no proposal but given the circumstances I knew about the ring because I have to deal with his frustration when he comes home. So he makes tons of phone calls goes in almost every day checking on the rain and finally the rain comes in just a few days before were supposed to get married. We go to pick it up and I went with him so he can make sure that it was fitting okay and the wedding band is missing it somehow did not get ordered but by this point weve already purchased the ring and hes already started making the monthly payments on it. A month after were married I called to check on my wedding band. They were nice enough to give us a loaner until mine came in and when I called the gentleman stated that I just needed to not worry about it and be patient. I called again today and was told the exact same thing no one wanted to give me an exact date on when the ring would be available they just said that the stones are being replaced. It has been two months there is no reason why I should not have a simple wedding band. Were still making a very large payment every month on this rain and part of the ring is not even actually mine. So far weve gotten no answers just people beating around the bush telling me to be patient and that it will be in anytime and that in itself its frustrating. The ring was ordered in February and promise in March is almost August and we still dont have the complete set. By now I should have already had my ring and my wedding had it soldered together so that is one ring but I cant do any of that. They have offered no compensation for the inconvenience that this is caused. I didnt get the proposal that Ive always dreamed of and then my husband wanted to do I didnt get to enjoy my wedding band on my wedding day and every time I call Im told to be patient. In my opinion this is very poor customer service and once this ring is paid off we will no longer be Kay customers.
I made 4 trips to Kays to get the right ring. Katarina was absolutely awesome and very patient while dealing with me. She even let me switch rings while the origanal one we picked out was being sized. I will only purchase future jewelry from Kays and I hope you do too.Highly Recommended and ask for Katarina.
Sometimes you may have problems, but in the end they try there best to fix the situation. Good job Katrina....
