The people working did not know what they were doing or where things were. We asked for some help and a sales associate went to get help but never came back.Then another one was looking for a size 8 shoe but didn’t really look and gave a size 9 and said just go up a size dude.Real professional.

Child this place looking a whole hot mess on the inside.. they have more buckets and water hoses hanging from the ceiling, holes everywhere.. HOWEVER the sales are ok.. I literally think there are only 2 places to check out now..

Killer deals and extremely nice staff

Ordered kids clothes online and pickup in store so as not to pay for shipping. All clothing fit perfectly and was well make. Once in store we found several more bargains. Love this store!

Jcpenneys use to be my favorite place to shop! That store has gone down hill bad. Leaks in ceiling has buckets all over the store it was gross. Just really disappointed

They had a sale on many different things some of the items were as much as 40$ off plus jcpenny had a 30% off coupon online I saved a lot on some nice dresses. The only thing that was bad was that they only had one dressing room for a whole bunch of women. Other than that and I saved money it was a good place to shop.

I would not step foot in jc penny in Beaumont Texas to save my life. They lie to customers to there face and will not honor what there signs say. That store has really gone south in the last few years. Not enough Employees, And I just flat out lied to the customers

I would rate JC Penny higher, but you have to get robbed to go into the place. Its in Parkdale Mall, and they arent 2A friendly. Therefore, crime is rampant.

I called Beaumont store to locate if there was a certain blouse available told me to call to get beand, did that placed not on hold but placed phone down heard conversations with customers and employees. Ok no one ever came back called again phone Rand forever, another dpt answered said she would get me supervisor rung forever finally a guy answered told him what was going on transferred me twice no pickup he picked back up and said I transferred twice they dont answer well I know that . I said I understand they are busy but the professional thing to do is pick up in the reasonable rings and explain that they are busy im sorry be with you as soon as I can. Horrible

Curbside customer service is excellent,the curbside online not so good.

I had made a jewelry order online. Received a text it was in at the local JCPenny store. Got there and spent over an hour for them to NOT find my order. However, the store manager did let me take the item they had in stock.

This is one of my favorite stores. Their jeans are always on sale and I love that.

Store seems much more organized since all the clutter is gone. Dress shirts for church are a little pricy.

Rude staff in the salon. They only had 1 customer in the whole place and told me they couldnt trim my childs hair until the following day.. when I got there early in a weekend. Which is fine I guess but the attitude was not.

Clean, well stocked and good deals on mens shirts, which was what wed gone shopping for. One employee that worked there was especially friendly and helpful, made shopping there very pleasant.

My nieces needed Christmas pjs for a pajama party. We looked everywhere and couldnt find any that fit them. I took them to JCPenney. They got what they needed!

The prices are great, and some of the clothes are too. However, lately, this location has become very unorganized and dirty. The Mens jeans were a mess! And, when I went to try on clothes, there was a bloody tissue on the floor in the Womens fitting room. It could get better, if they had the proper staffing.

Great Service! Had to exchange a pair of shoes as I apparently bought two right heels, and they found the same pair in a flash. I was in and out in no more than 5 minutes. Love this store! I didnt catch the wonderful ladies name at the shoe department register, but she was very helpful, kind, and understanding :) Will be back soon as they have many beautiful dresses on display!

It Has A Good Seliction

We got family pictures done here... i was really worried about the short camera session (15 minutes) when dealing with an infant... but the photographer was surprisingly engaging with him and we got a number of really good shots... so for really reasonable picture prices (compare to $300 for a half hour to hour, depending on the portfolio of the pro photographer) we got some pretty great pictures, and a digital package so we can print more down the road as we need. They have a lot if great picture examples on their website, and even better ones printed out on their studio walls.

All good but...waited 15 minutes to find someone to ring me out.I searched and finally found someone. They left all registers unattended.

Very nice salon great area and tidy and fast service but the karen shoppers are rude as hell. Witnessing them in person was disgusting for a human being and the hair designers that are scheduled to work arent showing up or always late. Very unprofessional. Ill be talking to someone about this.

Top of my list of WORST experiences with the Jewelry department. I have been waiting for my wedding ring for going on 2 months now. No one can provide me with a shipping number because they dont provide that to customers and it seems like no one actually did anything until I asked for the store managers contact information. Apparently the only way the jeweler that is sizing my ring can be contacted is via email but the most information I received about my ring was after I asked about the store managers contact information. I had an estimated completion date of 08/09 after my ring was ordered in JUNE. Its a week after and I still cant be provided with a tracking number even though they have it. If it was completed and has a tracking number why not give your customers a peace of mind by providing that? I have never ordered from JCP, but this will definitely be my last. This is definitely not customer service at all.

The store has went down hill..Goodwill store looks better than Beaumont J C Penny store...it looks like trash and it was not because of black Friday thats the way the store looks all the time..

I like that that they have decent sales on the rack but it is so unorganized that it makes it really unpleasant to shop in. Also doesnt honor all marked sales, if it doesnt ring up they wont give it to you even if its marked on the floor. Associates are not particularly helpful here or at least I have never encountered any that were. Not a whole lot of choices in the area so I continue to come back to this store but overall Im not impressed.

It was an emergency clothing purchase for death in family. Am a large man and love their Big And Tall.

I went on Saturday and I was very impressed with the organization and cleanliness of the store considering it was tax free weekend and covid! !!

A former Titan of American Industry still has a quality selection at decent prices.

JCPenney in the mall looked like a ghost town except for the employees that were in the stores. Other than pandemic it would be a great time to go to the mall and enjoyed the 50-plus percent discounts like I have never seen before.

The store is clean and mostly organized. The clearance racks are a nightmare though. The staff was courteous and helpful when needed. The bedding and handbag selection isnt great, but Im pretty sure that is a corporate issue, not local.

Wasnt as good as the Whopper I use to get.

Great customer service but the lines was very long what can you expect during the holidays I just dont like that there is not many check cashier coming from California theres plenty of check out spots inside the store

I have not been in Pennys for many years. I have been looking for feather pillows for awhile. They either no at the places I shop or were very expensive. To my surprise they had the pillows and at a nice price. The lady there was very helpful and worked with me to find what I needed. I will be back

Very good sale on markdowns in the store, but seemed very short staffed.I went to pick up an online order, and there was only one person working a counter with multiple registers. The line was about 10 people deep at the one register. I did not pick up my order. May go back in a day or two to try to pick up my order again.

After being impacted by Hurricane Harvey, we dealt with lots of people in getting setup in our house. Ms Connie in the window treatments at the Beaumont store was undoubted the best experience we had. She was extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable, patient and gave us the best experience of all our shopping. She should be your employee of the year and treated in the highest regard. She made a difficult situation into a most pleasant one. I thought you should know what a jewel of an employee you have and I hope you reward her for a job very well done.

Good holiday sale prices. Lots of clothes on clearance. Some of the staff are friendly,but not many.

Not very happy when I go there to the big and tall section and find out the dressing rooms are closed!! Was told I could bring the clothes back if they didnt fit, big inconvenience!!

Most employees are great all the time. The store tries to stay clean and neat but most of the time the customers are horrible. Anyways after the holidays the store looks sort of presentable.

Not understanding how and why this store STAYS in disarray. I believe in visiting stores as soon as theyre open to enjoy the cleanliness of them as well as the order. Ive visited here several times in the Lingerie department due to their vast bra selection, but to date I have NOT been able to find anything because of the chaos. The sizes are not even categorized in a way that is conducive to being productive.

Items were all over the floor and shelves were blown up. We asked for help and the guy was helpful.

Had a good time shopping with my daughter. The store was very clean. The clothing racks were neater than I have seen them in a long time. The sales people were friendly and helpful. The young lady that helped us, Casey, was pleasant and efficient. She asked if I found everything I was looking for and began ringing up my purchase. She asked if I had any coupons and asked if I would be paying with my J.C. Penny credit card. She checked to see how many reward points I had and if I had any rewards that could be applied to my total. I asked what the points were for and she explained. Then, I chose to purchase a wallet and my reward went toward that total. Casey helped to make my shopping experience pleasant.Ive always liked shopping at J.C. Penny, but the last time the store was trashed. This time I found the clothes I was looking for (in my size) and the store was in great shape. A shopping trip like this makes me want to go back more frequently.

Coming in from a small town with a JCPennys about 1/4 of the size as this one. Their large selection is a welcomed thing. Easy floor plan to find things. Helpful staff. Reasonable prices.

This place is always a mess! Only shop there if you are willing to dig. Hard to tell sale items when piles of other things are everywhere. This place need a whole new crew of management that actually cares and will get this place cleaned up.

Photographers and all of the other employees of the portrait studio were amazing! They were very patient with my son, who has Aspergers.

Hit or miss here. Unfortunately is it always unorganized and things thrown everywhere. The people are very nice and helpful. They also offer coupons. Which, the customers are partly to blame for this. We have to control our children and put things back where they belong. Stop showing the world how you live. Keep that for your house.

The atmosphere can be dead most of the time. You guys need to host more sales that have larger percentages like you used to have.
