I can spend more time in this store than any other in the mall. They have something for everyone to enjoy. Great place for nostalgic items, anime, pop culture, books, retro and new gen games, movies, unique snacks, candies, games. There is literally something for everyone here. Great store for window shopping or gift cards.

Its a fun store to visit. Generally I buy my kids books here. Lotta nerdy stuff. They dont always have the best best selection, its a second hand store so cant fault them for that. Overall Id recommend visiting.

Love coming here. The only complaint I could have would be that I wish they had a bigger selection of D&D books. But other than that, great place to go. They have a broad range of fandom from all factions. Worth the go.

They have some cool stuff and cheap books. The cashier didn’t tell a line of people that checkout was closed. They were checking out at the resale stand instead. It would have been nice to know before standing in line for 10+ minutes. The cashier kept looking at us and didn’t even care to say anything. I walked up to the cashier and said hello and they didn’t even make eye contact with me.

Awesome place! Found some older comics that you usually dont find anymore. I found a treasure there. And great prices, vast selection.

Reminds me of a store in Arizona I went to, Brookshires. The staff was very helpful and let me get a shirt off the wall, as it was out of stock on the shelves.

You can find anything your imagination can conceive! I bought everything from books to musical instruments to jewelry to vintage items. This is me and my kids favorite place to go for the end of the week reward!! The employees are awesome and always patient and helpful!!!

I enjoy purchasing books at a discounted price and 2nd & Charles has this and more. They have everything from boats games, cds, movies, plushies, video games and much more. The only reason why I give it 4/5 stars is because the video games are pricy. Theyre mostly retail price. If youre looking for other things other than video games, this place is for you.

LOVE THIS STORE! So many fun things to purchase! They have mugs and wall art and an outstanding collection of books, as well as an amazing collection of CDs and records!

Its pretty cool they have of course books!, But also a lot of unique things, electronic old and ?newer? Not sure but definitely older. The staff have always been nice and helpful, but not like watch your every move and ask can I help you down every Ilse either.

Enjoyed walking around and seeing what they had available. We picked up a couple books that were priced higher elsewhere so we got a steal of a deal.

You can also sell back your records or books, for store credit. The prices are from free to moderately expensive. But the best by far, the book selection!

Yes I went in to find some books I had been looking for kind of old books and I did find them. When i checked out the lines werent long at all and checkout was easy. If looking for old books this is the place and it has all kinds of things not expensive at all.

I though it was really awesome how they have the store set up. When I was about to leave because I had trouble finding what I wanted, the clerk checked to see if they had it, and then went and got the movie I was looking for for me. I was very impressed with the respect and courtesy we received. Ill be back soon!

Place needs to turn on th A/C its always hot and humid in the store making it smell weird. Decent selection of items though a bit overpriced. Think of it as the Gamestop of books. Give you very little for what you trade in to then but triple the price when they sell it.

Best thing since sliced bread

Everytime I have gone to this place they have charged me wrong for my books.Today I grabbed a book that came out a few months ago. They had one on a table for 28.00 dollars. Then I found the same book on a different table for $7.00. They told me it was $28.00. They said it was new. I pointed out the book club sticker on the front jacket cover and told them it was from a book club and a second hand book. . I wont be back anytime soon.

Love their merchandise but the store is a little run down.

I visited 2nd and Charles this morning, and arrived as the employees were unlocking the doors and entering the store for the first time today. I went straight to the restrooms. They were filthy. There was only 1 stall that was usable. The other 2 stalls were both clogged with feces and paper. The restroom smelled terrible. Because I entered the store as it was being opened, there is no way another customer left the restroom in this condition, it had to have been this way on closing. It was left overnight. Additionally, there were no paper towels for hand drying. The toilet that does function is extremely difficult to flush with a handle that is nearly broken. Very dirty and very disappointing.

This is a pretty unique place in a fun place to bring your kids for vintage things. Lots of books from all ages.only complaint that I we had was that during one of their sales they had buy one used book get half off on another and there were lots of books that were obviously used that were being marked as new and were not part of the deal. If youre looking for a place to go back to the 90s in then this is the place for you.

Good stuff

My wife and I went to Beaumont to visit our soon who is in college there. We spent the day with him on Sunday and he showed us the store. We are all readers so we were right at home with the large selection of books. We spent close to 2 hours just browsing. We did find some good deals on used books. We will be making this a regular stop when we visit Beaumont in the future.

Great selection of vintage books, comics, t-shirts, toys, action figures, etc. I think they have something here for anyone of any age to enjoy. Ive been 3 times and still havent seen everything yet.

If youre an avid book reader this is the place for you. Used books at awesome prices. I could spend hours here!
