This store is such a hidden gem and I was sort of in awe of how beautiful it was inside. It is so beautifully curated with an interesting, eclectic mix of clothing, home decor items, jewelry, etc. I also love that they have handmade items from independent potters and jewelry makers.The employees were really kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. I don’t live in the area, otherwise I would visit much more often - however, I will be shopping online via their Instagram as it seems they’re constantly adding unique items to their inventory.

Stopped by on my way back from hunting beach, best little boutique I’ve been to in a while! All of their items are genuine or recycled, so amazing. Definitely will be adding them to my go to gift giving place for my girl friends. Super friendly staff too :)

I always visit Beaufort for my summer vacation. This year I stepped in to the most glorious store! I loved how everything was decorated, such a unique beautiful style. The young couple that owned the place was so friendly and helpful. I plan to make a special trip to go back before Christmas just for gift buying!

We come to Beaufort for a couple weeks every summer and were so pleased to see a few new stores this year including Amidst the Alders. The store’s aesthetic invites you to wander & explore everything from beautiful handcrafted jewelry to clean beauty products to artisan teas & chocolate (excited they carry Marble & Milkweed!). Love the emphasis on the beauty of nature & reusing/repurposing. We’ve visited twice but I’m sure we will be in again before our trip ends.

I am in awe of how beautiful, unique and eccentric this store is! I absolutely love Kayla and what she has done. If you’re looking for historical artifacts, unique home decor, apothecary or one of a kind jewelry then look no place further! She has everything you would need or want!
