The bathroom and shower rooms could have been cleaned a lot better!! They need to Clorox those floors and showers!! Good thing I had my Lysol and cleaning spray !! Please none of the workers had on a mask!! SCARY CONSIDERING THERE A DEADLY VIRUS OUT HERE!! And they had a sign on the door that u must wear a mask but they didn’t even have on one!!😡 but at least there was plenty parking for the truckers!!

The deli manager is stealing from truck drivers. Ordered two boxes of food to go and the very nice lady working the deli informed me that they only put 1 pork chop to the box, versus EVERY SINGLE TA & PETRO NATION WIDE gives two chops and two sides. The lady serving stated thats how the manager runs things here. Well that dont make it right. Sounds like to me this manager is saving money and taking that extra pork chop home.Edit 2 months later: HAD to stop here for the night, fuel island food was still available however I refused to eat there. Walked over to the main store, restaurant was closed. No worries though, theres this fantastic chinese restaurant that will deliver right to your truck! Save yourself the trouble and just order from them. Place called China 1

Cleanest TA Ive ever seen, parking lot was clean and grass was cut. Restroom was clean as well. 4 stars because the country pride isnt open. Hot grill is open at the fuel line c-store, prices are good, not really high, serving size is good. Everyone I interacted with was professional and polite. I didnt need and tire service so I cant talk to that.

This place has taken a nosedive. Extremely high prices. No restaurant. Very little selection. Their fountain drink dispensers are out of half of the drinks. You need to avoid this place like the plague!!!! Personally, it should be closed permanently!!

This has been the worst service ever. I have waited over 5 hours for an oil change and still waiting. I called several times and they can only say there is only 1 technician in the truckstop that handles oil change. I just cannot believe a company that makes millions out of owner operators like myself traveling everyday and using their services as well could only afford to hire 1 technician during the day. I would understand overnight but daytime? It is really a joke and disrespectful to the clients.

The shop people lie and play childish games. Ms Shaw told me it would be 5 hrs before they could get to it and then after 8hrs say they have no paperwork........if you cant do your job just say it and we will go further dont play games and waste people time when you know from the start that you had no intention on doing the job to begin with!!!!

Its pretty sad when you park at the t/a and you have to walk over to the flying j to eat cause the t/a restaurant is closed . And all they had to offer to eat is corn dogs . I came to the t/a to see the doctor. Great guy.

In to get a tire replaced....told it was, 30min...then an hour and a half....then 30.more minutes...after 40 minutes, I checked back in and they still didnt really know how long...I wasted 2 precious hours here for nothing.......If they couldnt do it, they should of said so..Its a shame, because I spend around $2000-$3000 a year on tires.....I will go with Speedco/Loves from now on.

Do not stop here for any truck repair if you can get away with it. Sat here several hours before finally getting into a bay and the technician told me that he knew exactly what was wrong and he would work his magic on it. He then disappeared and havent seen him since. That was over a hour ago. No wonder it takes hours to get into the shop!

Super nice staff. Doing laundry and the coin washer broke half way through load. Clothes were soaking wet. Manager offerred to move my cloths to thier heavy duty washer and dryer. Thank you. Restuarant still closed though. Wonder if it will ever reopen. Might me another permenant victim of the wahun flu.

TA Baytown,TX. Their forte is the mechanic shop, when compared to other truck stops. They are very popular for this purpose, including the TA Baytown, TX.They also have good bathrooms, a store, and a good restaurant.

Basic TA, clean showers 14$, 10 showers total. 5 towels, shower is on the smaller side and clean bathroom. Laundry 2.50 to wash 3.00 to dry im sure its going to go up to 3 to wash. Dryer did not get all my clothes dry... Iron skillet Buffet lots of accessories. Beer for the drinkers. Truck wash nearby. Truckers lounge with tv.

It takes one hour or less than one hour to fix my truck but they charge me two hour. Its funny the Mechanic he thinks I dont know anything. He hide somewhere and come back Generally not good place for repair. Truckers becarful this place.

I was here for overnight. My truck was shut off when i try to start in morning. I went to shop here. They sent a mechanic named Steve. He found a problem really quick . This guy is really friendly and experienced.

Bathroom smell really bad, parking its ok.

The service receptionist has the worst attitudes that Ive ever experienced at any truck stop. Theyre very rude and unprofessional. I try to avoid getting any service work done at this location.

We showed up in the middle of the night in our RV. We were exhausted and needed to rest for a couple hours before continuing on. We pulled in the RV/auto entrance and looked for a place to park. There was a ton of open parking. As we were about to park, the security guard drove up to us and said that the truckers don’t like RVs parking there so we would have to leave and park somewhere else. He wasn’t rude or anything and he told us about another place to park. But when we got there we didn’t fit in the parking lot, it was a tiny lot that wouldn’t fit large RVs. I’ve been to many many Travel America’s with my RV and never been asked to leave. There was plenty of parking available, no reason to be turned away.

The clerk was very pleasant and offered good food suggestions.

Checked in at 5pm to get 3 tires, got pulled into the bay at midnight. Didnt get out of the bay til 8:30am next morning. Wont make that mistake again

I guess for a TA truck stop they need to remodel the building the showers and specially the restaurant I dont know if headquarters during on purpose to try to close all the restaurants around but I will tell you this that will be a big mistake TA & Petroare one of the last truck stops they still have restrooms you cant get a real meal as long as you get there before 10 or 11:00 back in the days used to be 24 hours and he was one of the things that used to love about these places now the customer service the restaurants even the truck shop needs a lot of work not only on the customer service size but the shops and buildings everything in this days is corporate and thats one thing they start going down

The worst shower I have ever been in. The water was burning hot even on the lowest setting. Shower was also dirty. It was unusable. The restuarant isnt even open. All they have is a few hot dogs on the roller grill.

The shop doesnt know what they are doing. Or how much other peoples time is worth. According to the foreman, they can no longer give out free meal tickets for the Country Pride to disgruntled customers because they gave out so many the restaurant was losing money. I checked in last night around 9pm and they said 8am loose ETA was the soonest they could do for a simple DOT exam on the tractor and trailer. Then they couldnt fit me in until 11am, then were finally done at 2pm. Six hours. Half the day. I even have disk brakes, they didnt have to measure anything. They also wanted to take 5 and a half hours for an oil change. No thanks. Downtime in the shop isnt a luxury i can take advantage of.Hope yall dont have a 14 hour clock to worry about.But for real, this TA gets 3 stars from me because the parking lot is big and clean- they were actually pressure washing last night when i pulled in. Also, the restaurant has incredible service and a fresh salad bar and delicious, hot food.

This location is an absolute joke! I checked into the shop at 930am for a simple PM. At 2pm I received a call asking if I was still at the TA. They informed me they tried to call me twice and it went to voicemail. This is an outright lie. No one had trouble calling me all day. Then they informed me that the PM tech got off at 2pm and I’d have to wait until 4. I told them no problem I would be here till tomorrow morning. At 440pm I called to get a status update and was informed that 3 techs no call no showed. As time passed I watched the guys leave on road calls and work on numerous trucks. At 6pm they pulled me into bay 3. I had dinner and then waited an hour for a shower because they were all in need of cleaning with no one actually doing any work. Finally at 1015pm I walk out to the shop to check on my truck. It had not been touched. Over 12 hours waiting to get an oil change is unacceptable! I’ll never spend a single penny here again.

Just went in and to my surprise the restaurant was closed. The hot grill was almost completely empty. This TA is no longer a truck stop in my eyes. Just a fuel station.

This was the Worst TA I have ever been to.The Techs were just after my $s but not what they will do.Took my Truck in for AC service but ended up being charged for irrelevant things.The price is well listed but when I asked the explanation or excuse I got was COVID 19 Hardships from Manager.He reduced on cost but still bill was very exaggerated.H

I stopped by this location to get a quote on a repair I needed on my truck. I said hello to the manager and she walked past me like she didnt hear me. There are signs that you need a face mask. I was the only one wearing one. None of the employees was wearing a mask. What a joke!!

I normally have better things to say about TA. But the parking lot leaves a lot to be desired, The store seemed to be low on stock, and given that this is Thanksgiving I would assume it would be prepared. The name to use the restroom was just OK definitely could use some attention.

Will never go back here,! The owners were having a fight as I was leaving & were using Muslim language! The lady was mad & rude at someone outside as I walked in.! A little scary for me as a customer, I had no idea what was going on, could have ended badly. Very rude people

Great as always. Clean bathrooms and showers with professional and friendly staff. My only issue with this location was the card machine at checkout. The chip on my debit card dosent work waiting on a new card. Normally most places will allow me to swipe after three attempt of inserting. But here it would not accept the swipe. They said as long as the card has a chip I cant swipe. So I cant get anything from this location.

There is always a place for parks

Aint hitting on much. Waited long time for cashiers to ring me up but they were having too good a time gossiping about the boss. Left goods on the counter and left. Kept on giggling with each other as I went out.

DO NOT do your oil change here.. youll be here for more than 8 hours and youll see them with no trucks in the any bay. The only reason I give them 3 star is because of the buffet (and not even the buffet makes it to more than 3 stars

I wouldnt give a single star, but had to to give a review. I came in and got my A/C worked on, got an estimate for $2100 and when the work was completed the bill was over 3 thousand and now I cant get anyone to contact me about this issue. So my next step is having my attorneys make contact.

Service was done professionally. Above and beyond. One of the best TA service centers I have used in quite a while. Parking fills in about 7pm though they will work with you to get a spot to put your truck if you ask and not park at the fuel islands.

I can see other customers might take issue but I did not see those things while there. There was a stranded trucker asking for food and money but was quickly escorted off premises. Sad. But, it happens too often.Everything worked out pretty good in the service department. Andre. Was amazing. I thought I busted my alternator and it turns out it was just the belt and tensioner. Still a big deal but it was late at night and he really hooked me up. I appreciate that.The service lady Kim was great and theres a TV with the game on if they are watching cop shows again in the lounge. They really love cop shows for, some reason. I dont, but, life goes on.

TRUCKERS BEWARE! If you need service or tire changes, you should look somewhere else. Not only was the wait for an oil change over 2 hours with zero others in line but they didnt even check the fluids or completely tighten down the drain plug. Service was on Wed and on Thurs night the truck was parked where it would stay for the next couple of days. Went to get going again and there was a puddle of oil under the truck.Not to even mention that when they did finally change the steer tires after waiting nearly 9 hours, they left a giant mess all over the wheels and the hood of the truck. Their attitude was subpar and they clearly dont care about their job.Bottom line, next time I need service, I will go anywhere else but here.

Dont bother doing your laundry there. Half the machines dont work. After speaking with maintenance, was told theyre not allowed to put signs on the machines that dont work anymore. They want you to figure it out on your own and too bad for the next person who comes in there.Showers are small. Country Pride is ok. Staff is friendly. Theres a security guard cruising the parking lot but thats just about all he does. Still have people knocking on doors begging for money.

Had a tire repaired at the Baytown TA,, prior to taking my truck to the TA for repair, I used soap and water to look for small leak, the valve stem did not show leak, After taking vehicle to TA shop mechanic told me that he found problem, and said that valve stem was leaking, I paid $55.94 for repair, the following Monday the tire was low again and took truck to another shop, they found a nail in tire. Very poor maintenance and management, shop supervisor was extremely rude, told me I was a liar and I picked up nail after leaving TA. Will not do business with TA shops again.After writing this review and contacting regional manager, I received a call from management asking me to return to store for full refund. Thank you management......

Decent truck stop with plenty of parking. The restaurant buffet was good tonight. I was gonna get some trailer repairs done here but I changed my mind after reading the reviews Ill just wait and get it done some place else.

This is probably the worst TA in the nation. So techs on day shift stand around more then they work ! Night shift hmmmmm does the same thing ! Supposed to be getting a PM done at 5pm it’s 8:15pm right now and still haven’t received a call to get in ! Won’t ever stop here again

Currently been in the bay over an hour and a 45 mins. other than directing me into the bay they havent done/touched or even looked at my trailer. not sure if yall care about being charged labor for the hour they tend to screw around but figured Id let you other drivers know if youre in a hurry or want quality service this aint the place to get it....

This five star is for the food in the deisel building not overall because I only usually get a reserve parking from time to time and grab something to eat when Im leaving so I cant grade the overall performance of this location but the food is great.they serve pork chops,meat loaf,baked chicken mixed veggies, potatoes and more.their boudin is really good as well.

Be careful with the Shop. I was having my PM service done here. Guy must have thought I wont go through his work after hes done. Well. This guy had missed about 50% of Grease points. He was cool about it when i pointed out the issues and he fixed it. Just go behind their work. Not only this TA. Ive already had issues with technicians trying to do quick shoddy jobs at TA/ Petros before

The food at the restaurant is the best out of all the TAs Ive eaten at. The cook and waitresses were great. Sarah is the best. Women bathrooms needs some help, but all and all very nice.

Needs work on the sewage system, otherwise, good showers. Food is has been great in past visits. Looks well stocked.
