This truck stop is true gem in whole Texas area for us, hotshot nomads. Plenty of overnight parking, clean showers ( water pressure is fantastic 😍), tasty food in “Denny’s”, friendly and helpful staff. What else can you ask for?Thank you very much, lads, for taking good care of us, while we move America forward🤝

This one deserves five stars on the food alone. I really appreciate the staff getting the breakfast sandwich’s out early. Trucking is a 24 hour business.

Bad management. No shower available. Manager shutdown the shower because there wasnt anybody to clean it. She said I am sorry, nothing I can do for you. I cant leave the desk and leave my coworker alone to go clean the showers. As I understand, in case the janitor doesnt show is the managers job to do what needs to be done. Sorry was the answer I got. Saying that you are sorry wont get me showered, sorry wont make me feel refreshed and have a good night of rest. This is so disrespectful to the professional drivers... but unfortunately thats how Pilot Flying J shows appreciation for drivers as they use to say, they are not able to keep their promises and offer the drivers a clean and nice hot shower (as they advertise). Shame Flying J Store #725. So professional drivers, I suggest you to avoid this location.

Placed kept very clean restrooms, laundry room,waiting room and all around customer service is excellent best of all plenty of parking for trucks lots of fule lanes keep up the great work Flying J morning staff for any one looking at the pizza warning do not get it heartburn city greasy and way to expensive 2 slices for over 5 bucks and the afternoon flying j staff do not welcome you in or smile bad service 👎also 12 bucks a shower 🤯

I wouldn’t even give this place a star at all. All I use is pilot and flying j but this one had very cold showers asked about it she said it was Luke warm and it was far from that if I keep comeing into called showers like this I’ll start going somewhere ELES to get fuel just so far this year I have gotten 11,000 gallons of fuel from pilot and flying j but I’m about to change it up if I keep geting cold showers other places are cleaner and have hot water

I usually get the spicy skillet,thats my favorite but this visit I was disappointed. The cook apologize for messing up my food and told me its coming and she clocked out and left. They didnt have the red potatoes or the chorizo sausage,used fries instead that tasted old and it looked like they just thru my meal together anyway seen fit to get me out the door. I drive trucks so whenever Im in the Amarillo area Ill stop. The staff is friendly but I wont let one bad experience stop me from going. Ill give places twice to mess up before I wont visit again. It never had looked like this before...😞😞😞

The Hispanic manager she is very rude and unprofessional she definitely needs some training. I love flying J and I love the new coffee machine and I usually have great experience with flying J but the Baytown store really, really has work to do. They don’t provide customer service at all sounds like she don’t enjoy her job.🥲

Guess its not always great at this flying hook. I asked if that was all the breakfast items hoped she would say more be coming. But, not her she stated what you cant see. So I paid for my over priced coffee an drove to the loves way service with a smile at Mickie d.

Dennys has the best employees but the store has some of the rudest workers in the country especially to drivers. I wouldnt spend a penny in there if it wasnt for Dennys. Talkative about personal non sense but when asked about store items they act deaf they look for a problem.

Maintenance guy Isaiah was very helpful gave very accurate directions and he knows all the cool hang out places in the area.

Wide open parking lot. 13 reserved parking spots still available. Had these wonderfully amazing power hungry security guards come pounding on my truck not once, not twice, but three times. You pay for parking to make sure you have some where safe to park and not be harassed. Here you get to pay almost 17 dollars to be harassed. Because why would we want our truck drivers who are driving an 80,000 pound vehicle down the road to have a good nights sleep. Flying j/pilot has gone so far down hill they are almost as bad as ya and Petro in regards to friendliness of employees and cleanliness of facilities.

Shower water pressure was perfect water stayed hot/steady. Coffee was good no grinds and did not have that burnt chemical taste. Two people behind the counter and barely any wait. None of the employees hated at me either ; ) Bathroom had soap and paper towels A+ ; )

Dont think this restrooms have been cleaned since last time I was here ... yea probably clean a little but place is filty probably In the top 5 dirtiest flying j in the country and I buy 99 percent of my fuel at P/F very disappointed in this place

Ive been waiting here sent 9am. Waiting on oil change i was told 2hrs this morning going on 7hrs now. I was just told maybe 4 now. I guess they need to hire more people. Its no cause for this long of a wait

There are not a week goes by that I dont stop at a Flying J one or two times a week sometime more. I love the way they have their food laid out. Its very good to see the employees working together as a team! I love seeing d Unity. Employee go above and beyond the duty status. But that makes me feel good and every other driver. At times they make our day, or sometime I would night. That looks good on them, keep up the good work!

Quite truck stop dinner. Food is good, service slow. Nothing bad, but nothing amazing either.

We needed to fill our propane tank and empty our gray and black water tanks. Everything went smoothly. It was very pleasant that they had dedicated lanes for RVs fill propane tank, emptying are holding tanks and fuel (gas and diesel).

Employees are rude and lazy. We recently got a Good Sam membership for a discount at Flying J while we travel. They would not honor our card because it was temporary and did not have a bar code, even though our membership number and name is clearly printed on the card. Our permanent card does not come in the mail for 2 weeks, thus the temporary card sent by the company via email.Employee was just too lazy to punch in the numbers like they do at other Flying J Travel Centers. Dump station out of order and grounds are also dirty.

There are no RV parking spaces here. The website claims there are 10 spots, but they have been converted to reserved truck spaces.

Every time I get gas and pay at the pump the receipt paper is out.In order to get a receipt I have to go inside and wait in a usually long line.

FANTASTIC coffee! Theyve got machines that give you a choice of six different coffee flavors, and they are ground and poured right there. Half the price of Starbucks and better quality, and at a truck stop! We always stop here, just for the coffee :)

Nice clean showers, friendly staff but how many times do us drivers have to be bothered by the same homeless people looking for fd or $$??? Its ridiculous! I thought there was security here! It makes me feel unsafe when they keep asking u for stuff & u tell them no! Eventually they are gonna snap & someone is going to get hurt

I use to love this location but they seem to change employees too much. Other than that the hot ready food is delicious and drinks are cheap. Restrooms are very clean. Props to the janitors at this location.

I shop and buy my Gas here quite frequently but Im not sure if I will be back. Mr. Tony the manager was extremely rude to one of the customers who was playing a personal speaker box. He was paying at register and instead of pulling customer to the side and letting him know that hey sir your music is a little load he sreams out hey buddy turn that off. I was in shock. It just could have been resolved in a more professional way.

Pretty clean, staff is good and clean showers that dont scald you every time a toilet flushes. Great location, Blue Beacon truck wash and Truck King across the street.A lot of parking spaces and fuel pumps. I stop here on a regular basis on my way to and from Houston. Coffee is good, food is regular crappy truck stop food which we have to deal with as drivers. Have a great selection of beverages.They have clean rest rooms, parking lot is lit up pretty well and lots of garbage cans. Also have a shop out back.I dont stay overnight due to all the beggars and lot lizards but it is a great spot to stop, fuel up and grab a coffee.

300$ work of fuel, and no free cup of coffee like Loves. You have to buy fuel and five cups of coffee to get there sixth free. When you walk in you are not greeted like at the Loves. Not going back unless absolutely have to.

We were heading East needing to find an RV dump station. Only 3 bucks to dump RV black water! Totally worth driving back west from Bucees.

Came in to Scale, they was busy...Now I have been to a lot of Flying Js where the employees disappear and there is long lines, you wont find that here, they know how to work it and keep the the lines down, which is nice because had to go in several time to get my weight legal. Thank you for doing such a great job.P.S.Everyone that help me was super friendly, nowadays thats hard to come by, thanks again

Excellent stop for RVers. Cheap gas, propane, RV dump, (its non potable water). A very nice kiosk with a good selection of quick foods like salads, pies, roast chicken, sandwiches etc and theres also an adjoining Dennys. Free air pressure at truck station next door. Theres a truck wash across the road too.

Cant give it any higher simply because they cant keep the lines from getting and staying long

Really like this location and make a point to spend the night here when dropping in Houston. Very clean, friendly staff, lots of parking, well stocked, and great showers. One of the better Flying J locations. Wish they would replace Dennys with Moes or something. Ive given up eating at the Dennys here as never have a good experience, but Ill rate them separate. The Flying J side of things is great.

The restrooms here are so clean. They also have a good variety of personal care items that you might need, and dont have the time to stop at a big busy store. Theres also a Dennys right next door, and for me thats a plus!

Unique & Brittany even though brittany work at the other store are the best they made my experience warming I promise, wont even speak on the bad, also Unique should be the manager, the managers in place need to learn from them two, I left happy i must admit, god bless them two, great job. Customer service is very very important and they provided top service, A driver after a long day of driving is all about smiling faces and good attitudes without Unique & Brittany, I would have took my business across the street to TA in which, I also have an account there. Got told to move my truck twice due to where I parked just because there werent any parking spots. Apparently the security guard on duty doesnt know how things work. Pretty sure I and at least 2-5 other drivers were told to move just because we werent in a parking spot. We werent even blocking the flow of traffic, like other drivers were.I recommend if you want to park in this Flying J, get here early.Thankfully, there was room to park across the street at the lube shop, otherwise I dont know where I would have been able to park, as I was almost out of hours of service drive time, and couldnt make it to the next truck stop.

If you want a hot meal dont come here. Today I came in to purchase lunch and realize I should have went else. It was 4 people and a manager behind the counter. It took 20min for my order. I order 1/2chicken with mash & mac and cheese. The only thing was edible was the mash. The chicken was cold and the mac and cheese was cold and soupy.

This place is so cool! I almost like to live there! Good coffee friendly showers always clean and available safe if your traveling clean parking lots. I love the manager. A real cool person. My favorite, all the az nick nacks!

I always stay here. Crime level is at a minimum better than in the city where youll have your tarp, tire, and fuel come missing in the morning. Clean facilities and nice store clerks.

On my stop here, the entire store was clean and properly stocked. The mens restroom was very clean as well. The cashier was very nice as a plus. No complaints at all, in and out.

Easy access for Eastbound or Westbound truck traffic. Large parking area and full facilities. Convenience center and Dennys restaurant also at this location.

Found out they have an RV dump station and it couldnt have been a better experience. I never usually camp anywhere without full hook ups but found myself doing so this weekend. $10 for fresh water and dump without a Rewards card, $7 with the card.

I ate at the Dennys here last, Saturday night, spent 20.00, woke up in the middle of the night vomiting. Still feeling sick, and slight feverish. I am still sick its Monday, have had fever, belly cramps andawful diarrhea in my semi. I am glad the portion size of the pot roast was for a toddler, the brocolli was ice cold. Over priced garbage! DO NOT EAT HERE!

Slow doing everything. Food not hot even cheese omelette the cheese was not melted. It was regular sandwich square slices of cheese. it needs to be shredded cheese for that melted. Didnt get everything I ordered. Not very Clean. Service was kind.

So many complaints about this flying j. Its a place to park. Service from the cashiers and the Dennys is typical for a travel center. Sometimes its clean and sometimes its not so clean. I would have thought professional drivers would be used to these sort of things and not complain so much. Better yet go to the TA or Loves if you hate this place so much.😲😲

Stayed 2 nights, used shower 2 times, first 1 was good, 2 time I got the handicap shower and was not happy. Had to put my bag on the ground, shower itself was a nightmare, dont even know how the handicap use it. Also, they cleaned it but left the towels hanging from the person before me. The employees at the front are real nice and very helpful. They just need to do something about the handicap shower!!!!!

Horrible service. Today was the third and last time we came back here to have our propane bottle filled. We called ahead of time to make sure a technician would be there to fill it for us (in the past there was never anyone available). We were told someone was there and it wasnt a problem. Once outside, we called to say we were by the tank and needed a technician to fill the tank. We were told they would be right out. After about 15 minutes of waiting, my husband went inside to see what was going on and we were told the technician was NOT EVEN THERE!! So frustrating. It is false that there is a tech to fill propane late or at all. Based on our experience no one is ever there to fill it. Horrible. Will never come back here.
