Colby Elliot sold us our car everything was smooth and easy did not get the headache that usually comes with buying a car, and for the negative reviews your buying a USED CAR as is, no warranty they allow you to test drive and inspect the car before financing it... I bought a 2008 Ford Escape from them in September 2019. Since then, it has been in the shop 3 times and going in for the fourth. Three days after having it, the water pump seized up and needed to be replaced. No big deal we thought. My husband is military and we were in our way to Virginia so we couldn’t just go back to the dealership. We fixed it in Alabama and made our way to Virginia. Then in December of 2019, we noticed that it was making some odd sounds on the way to Iowa for Christmas. An hour away from our destination, the car refused to go over 50 mph without shaking vigorously. We then had to put it in the shop for the second time, only to find out that the car had never had a tune up. Not once. All the cool packs and spark plugs had to be replaced and we hoped to God that nothing further would go wrong. Now, in June of 2020 the car died in the middle of the highway with no warning. Finally got it into the shop last week to find out that fuses behind the alternator were broken and needed repair along with a new battery. We just got it back this past Thursday and now it is going back in because it has died yet again with no warning. We have not had this car a year yet. I know we bought it as is, but cars like this shouldn’t be sold. We are now without a vehicle for the fourth time in a year. Make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into before buying from this dealership.Update: since putting the car in the shop for the fourth time, we have found out the the max air flow sensor is bad and needed replacing.

They sell lemons and run a scam with their 3rd party mechanic by adding new bills to increase their overall capitol per sale on top of that when you cant pay your bill theyll come get the vehicle and resale it to the next victim... DONT BUY HERE!!! VERY DISHONEST OUTFIT...

Did not purchase from there, they were very helpful and friendly but did not have what my daughter was looking for.

.afterA month the vehicle did start to break down first motor mounts then belt tensioner then after spending my payment money to fix it they go repo for being behind not past due Im in the hospital with end stage of Chronic Kidney Disease given 6 months to live they take the vehicle after I told them I was sick and dieing they still picking up the car knowing that I needed dialysis everyDay Im still here in Baytown hospital 2/12/2021 so do your self a favor DONT BUY !!!!!!!!!!! DONT STOP 🛑....FOR SURE THERES A BETTER PLACE ...AND BETTER PEOPLE WITH A HEART.AND MORALS....

Will update if we buy from them. Emailed last week and today about 2 different vehicles for my mother in law who is 66 yr old and on fixed income. Have yet to hear from them. Will see.

Elliott Motor Company was my most pleasant car-buying experience ever. I dealt solely with Kent Wood after finding my vehicle online. He was quick to return my phone calls and texts with accurate information and answers to my questions. After driving 35 miles to Baytown, I was pleased with the vehicle I saw. It was better than the photos showed. Plus the price was extremely fair -- darn cheap actually. Kent is honest and a man of integrity. I would certainly buy from Kent Wood and Elliott Motor Company again.

I financed an SUV from them 2 weeks ago. We have already spotted a problem with the front end. And before i could even make my first payment, the check engine light has come on. Day 3 of having the vehicle i wanted to return it because something just didnt seem right, but when i called, they said no returns. Will not go there again!

Actually I give it 1/2 star. He gave me a good trade in value for my vehicle .. But when my wife and I were on our way tothe bank.. He got temp. Alzheimers cuz he forgot how much he told me he was going to give me and when he remembered...it was way lower than wut we decided on... Stay away from this place... Thers better dealers around baytown than here...

Kolby went above and beyond for me. They did everything to make me a happy customer. Im glad i went there. During first week battery light kept comong on. Elliotts replaced alternator.They could have said too bad. You bought as is but they didnt. i would recommend them. Professional and honest.

Staff was friendly and helpful but the car they sold me had many undisclosed problems. I have already replaced the spark plugs, upper radiator hose assembly and the cars transmission is currently buing rebuilt. All of this and the car still has paper plates. Doubtful that they were unaware of these problems or the transmission at least...

Stay far away from this so called dealership!! Bought a truck from them and Ive had nothing but issues with it since the day I bought it including a transmission replacement within 8 months!! Contacted the Owner Ken just to let him know how unsatisfied I was with the vehicle & to inform him that the transmission already went out and he told me to go buy a new truck next time and hung up the phone!

Does anyone know the number to elliot motors?? The number they show says it is no longer in service??? N we r outa town and trying to pay a truck note??
