Been coming here for over 3 years, spent well over $1600..recently my tire randomly became flat while sitting at their shop after being full for months, so they replaced it with a dummy tire I had in my trunk but never put my old wheel back in my trunk. Called them 3x and went up there 2x to get answers..they couldnt find it which means it was thrown away or sold..instead of being honest they gave me the run around for weeks and ghosting me, not even responding to texts..basically making me give up and have to pay for a mistake they made by buying a new wheel..to top it off car still isnt 100% fixed either..very dissapointing to treat a long time customer this way..my brothers friend said he experienced something similar...nevertheless will not be returning. For the record no this is NOT spam I have proof.

Super honest people. Quoted me $300 range at first, was $195 upon pickup& was done in a timely manor. Will be bringing my work to them from now on. You can’t beat honesty and transparency this day & age.

Guys I did a big mistake ...by taking my car I had a problem in my transmission he charged me 1,442.61...he didnt fixed it but he told me he hv put another part of transmission..Then he charged me 560.00And then folks he said I m gonna changed this 🙄 transmission again ..but he going to charged me 986.00 again .....he screwed everything again my transmission still isnt working 😕 guys I am requesting youll..please dont go at this place hes thief ...this people like to take the hard working money...and I ve a proof of invoice I am gonna post it so you guys gonna believe me!!!!

Im pretty late writing this. But I had car trouble back in April, turns out I needed a new alternator. They were very thorough and helpful and they had me out of there as fast as i needed to be. I was very happy with the work they did.About a month ago, I went back just to see if they had time to install a new turn signal light in the front, not only did they have the time, but they did it for free.If you have any kind of car maintenance or repairs needing to be done, this is the place you want it done at.

Took my fiancé’s car there because her AC had gone out. Not only were they able to diagnose the issue within 20 minutes of us showing up, they had the parts ordered and installed within a few hours. Definitely a great price for the labor done and super fast turnaround. Definitely recommend!!!

Took in there for transmission and they broke the timeing belt and want me to pay for it.

Ala is a very good mechanic. He quoted me a fair price and did good work on my car. When he tells you a price for your car, he doesnt change the price when you bring it back to get the repairs done. I will keep coming back to get my car fixed here.

Headlight went out in car and my mother told me to go to Autozone where I could buy a new bulb and sometimes they will replace them for you. Well we got there and were told they didnt replace them, but we could go down the street to Car Zone and a guy named Dre would take care of us pretty fast. I was a little skeptical but though what the heck. Im so glad I went. Dre had us in and out in literally 10 minutes. Great customer service and I will definitely be back!

Came in to get my Rotors and Calipers changed and my car left like new.Lots of one star reviews are actually a spam and all are correlated to an A/C job. My name is Robert. I was at Car Zone for around 4 to 5 hours yesterday. Not only did I get great work done(there were multiple issues that had to be addressed and replaced/repaired) they offered to bring me home and pick me up when the work was finished which I declined. On top of that great customer service they bought me lunch and refused to let me pay them for it!THIS IS WHAT FUTURE AND CURRENT CUSTOMERS NEED TO READ!!!When the negative review about the oil change was posted I had been there for hours and this liar and spammer posted it while I was eating lunch, and only one person came in the entire time to have work done and it was simply an inspection.

I should have looked at the reviews first prior to taking my car here.Took my car in to get my AC fixed. They told me it was the compressor. After a full day of having my car in their shop, they swapped the compressor and my AC is still not fixed. AND THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR A PART THAT DID NOT FIX MY PROBLEM. They are clueless and will only throw parts at your car in hopes of fixing it. Totally ridiculous. GO ELSEWHERE PLEASE. This is what happens when a backyard mechanic gets a shop

I would like to change from my original review. I had posted how poor of service that I received. I brought my car back after several weeks when it developed a new problem. I was glad when I was told that the mechanic that had worked on my car was no longer with them. I thought that was the right move for them to take after the service I had originally received. But this time they were very professional. They fixed my car and we have had no problems with it since.That was classy for them to make things right on my car. Thank you very much

I took my car here and for them to diagnose an electrical issue with the driver seat. They said they could not figure it, which is OK... But the fact that i got my car back with my dashboard lights not working at night is not ok.... my husband had to come up here and straighten them out. ***Never again..

These people are the biggest liars Ive ever seen. I needed a new battery so I went to them after having this confirmed at autozone. Autozone said my alternator was good and that the battery was not taking a charge. This place kept trying to convince me that i had to change my alternator as well. I told them to just swap my battery and not worry about the alternator. when they did my car was fine and started right up. Unbelievable

They took my car in quick,showed me what was wrong and fixed it. Did not take long,and very good job. Car still working great. Will only go to them from now on. Guys very respectful and honest.

Put the wrong oil in my car, and I was charged for AC service for absolutely nothing. My AC was not cooling properly and they said they were going to put refrigerant in it. When I told them it still wasnt cooling properly they said I had to drive around for a few miles. Had to pay another shop to diagnose the issue. They had to bleed out a bunch of refrigerant because these folks put way too much of it in the system. Why on earth are they working on cars?

Honest and great servicemy car broke down on the highway so I cold this place, the sent me a tow to to their shop, ran a test and it was the alternator but the part wasnt available since it was after 5pm, they gave me a ride to my hotel, next morning it was finished and I continued my trip.. convenient and the price was fairthanks yall!

Took my 2007 Accord, that had a check engine light. They immediately pulled the code, and instead of immediately replacing the part, like most auto repair ships, they took further diagnostics. Turns out the part was not defective but the connector or the pigtail. Theyre profesional, and I DefiniteDe reccomend going here!

If I could I’d give Car Zone Auto repair in Baytown on Garth Rd zero stars for being a lying, cheating, incompetent establishment. I took my vehicle in to get a new alternator installed and left with my entire electrical system destroyed. I was promised, by the owner Jordan that it would be taken care of, after three months of the run a round I eventually had my vehicle tolled to a dealership. A $220 job cost me approx. $7000, in which I had to take them to small claims court. Fortunately, I won the case even though I wasn’t awarded my full amount, at least the Judge took the side of me the plaintiff. I would not recommend anyone to go to Car Zone Auto repair.

Spent $4,000 for them to install a new engine incorrectly and refuse to make it right. In way over their heads. Would not recommend this mechanic to anyone. They created a new problem that did not exist before changing the engine, and then refused to fix it. Dishonest mediocre mechanics that should never be recommended.

DONT DO IT...Tell me why I pay these morons to replace an alternator on my truck only to have my truck shut off on the freeway.They didnt torque down the ground to my engine block and so my alternator wasnt charging the battery. They proceeded to act like it was a minor mistake.After this, I asked the management if his employees were ASE certified. He didnt know what that meant. And THATS SCARY.

I am a returning customer and these guys are great, the first time I went I had a brake job done, this time I A.C work done, I have been to at least 5 different places pricing the job the were the most reasonable one for the job Im new to the Baytown area and the job was going to be up to 3 to 4 hours and I didnt want to wait at the shop because I had my granddaughters and I asked him for a ride home, he dropped me at my front door and he called me when the job was complete so let me know he was on his way to get me. These guys are great check them out the prices are very reasonable and they will accommodate you in any way possible CarZone gets all my work in Baytown I have a personal mechanic that I always used in Houston but when I cant catch him CarZone has my business.

Came in on a saturday for an oil change, the mechanic that was called drey took care of me, and i was out within 15 minutes. Will be back for any maintenance.
