Update: I sent you an email like you asked but I have not received a call or a reply to my email! Why are you not responding? I would like to hear from you. Thanks! I had my truck painted here and paid $5000.00 for the job and got a poor quality job. Lots of orange peel and waves in the paint. Also, they were paid to remove the bed of the truck and when I picked the truck up and got it home I discovered that the bed had not been removed. They cant be trusted to do the work you are paying for. I cant recommend this business for a quality paint job. Very disappointed 😞 in the paint job I paid for! The question is, what else did I pay for that they didnt do🤔 I will never know..they will never get another $1.00 from me! I would like for the owner to look at this paint job and tell me if this is what I should get for my $5000.00 🤔 I have a 5year warranty so tell me is this the quality of work I paid for.

Just picked my truck up from Maaco Baytown.  My truck had dents on everything. I didnt think they could fix some panels. My bed was horrible. They tried to find me a good used one but couldnt. So they fixed it for the same price it was alot of body work. I am happy with the overall results and quality. I got other estimates and they where thousands cheaper. Thank you, John and Steve.

The paint job on my truck looked very good. Had a few issues such as over spray on my rims that I had to go back for which is why I didnt give it 5 stars.

They did a great job on painting my truck at a price much less than a local body shop. Next I took in my 2018 Toyota car for some fender work and they went above and beyond expectations. They extended the repair area without charging extra.

After a paint job, I noticed the hood release cord was completely gone. The end of the cord cap was on the floor. When I called to see if they could fix it, they were very standoff, they almost acted like I was making this up. He said he had to ask the guy, but never called me back to confirm that they did break the cord. So beware if they work on your car, and damage it, they will not be honest or call you back.

My truck turned out excellent and everyone was professionally nice.

I dropped the car off Monday, got it back Friday, they got paint on both mufflers, plastic trim, mirrors, windows, fog lights, found 3 drips, skirts didnt get enough paint the area feels rough, they didnt put my emblems back on the car, trunk lid is pealing on one side, I try to open sunroof and its painted shut, they painted the rubber seal to the roof of the car, back to maaco....I spoke with Steven the owner and he said hell take care of it, bring it in, i sent him the pictures through email, I call back and he hasnt even looked at them, but tells me to bring the car in hell look at it when i bring it.I told him this is a huge inconvenience for me since Ive been paying for Ubers all week long, now more Ubers, so the cheap $700 paint job is turning out to be expensive, can I get a discount for the inconvenience? He tells me I already got the basic package, hes doing the work at cost as it is, hes not making any money, that I got the basic package, like as if Im supposed to be ok with a bad job, I tell him that the package doesnt say well do a good job or bad job for this much more it just says the levels of paint, he then gets upset again and tells me how much do you want? 100.00? Takes out his wallet and hands me $100.I take the hundred and leave the car, Monday, they call me Tuesday afternoon, I ask for them to make sure everything i pointed out was taken care of, i then show up Wednesday afternoon, they lost the Acura TL letters, they tried to say the car didnt have it, but I showed them the pictures of the day I dropped it off, that shut them up, then they said well order it and ship it to your house, Im like? Really? I cant put that on, I wont get it straight like you would, then I continued inspecting the car, they made everything worse, they simply used a razor blade and shaved off the excess in the trunk, which opens up the paint and it exposes it to the elements, the top of the car where the drip was was sanded down and the primer was showing now, it looked all cracked, pretty much instead of sanding down an painting it the right way they tried to do a half job, now Im dealing with maaco corporate to take my car to a different shop to have it done right.You would think the owner Steven would make sure everything is done right, specially if the customer had to come back, and expressed the inconvenience of having to come back. But this guy didnt even bother doing a walk around.

I went by there today to get an estimate after scraping the side of my car with the door jam on my garage. in 5 minutes, the attendant was able to remove the garage paint from the car, and the car was as good as new! I offered to pay them for their trouble, and they wouldnt take it! Wow!Also, three years ago I had them paint my father-in-laws old beat-up pickup. The pickup still looks great even though it has sat out in the hot sun for the last three years! And that paint job only cost around $1200, much less than any other estimate. This is definitely the place to go for paint and body work!

My husband and son delivered a 65 red with white racing stripe fastback ford mustang to the Baytown Maaco Location. It was badly in need of a restoration job and make over. We feel like Maaco was very transparent in their price quoting. Their service was very Exceptional!!! The owner Steven listened to our concerns through out the whole process and addressed them. Purchased top of the line black paintjob. Did not get under the tail lights like they said they would. Little of overspray on the wheels and front bumper, which wasnt a big deal. They didnt finish sanding the car, which resulted in visual scratches under the paint in some areas. They did an okay job, but I expected a little better for the highest quality paintjob.

This store owner claims all bad reviews are fake, how about you work on the quality of your work? Get better quality paint or train your staff? My paint is also peeling off and the owner is very rude, he was acting like me dropping my car off for another 2 weeks was an inconvenience to him! I cant believe this guy! I called corporate and it looks like this is a privately owned location and they have little say here. Ive already came back twice and they refuse to let me take it to another shop because its a privately owned location and he needs to do the repairs. Im so upset I came here.

Well I want to Maaco to get an estimate so I havent did any work. The guy that did the estimate his name is Steve and hes pretty blunt telling you that you actually make the estimate by what you work you want done he goes around and he writes it all down and then he goes just a computer. So I can say at least hes honest and he got me two estimates its a little higher than what I thought but when you go to the ram dealership because I have a 2007 Dodge ram get ready to take a mortgage out just on a paint job so thats the reason why I picked maaco. As I remember from yes to year because Ive been around a few years I remember when it was only $199 just for basic little paint job not fixing anything now its $499 30 years later. The reason why mines a little high normally probably wouldnt cost me but $1,000 but thanks to Walmart even though I park way out at the end of the parking lot I still get somebodys got to park next to me and dent the hell out of my truck or run their card into the side of my truck or somebody with something sticking out of their truck backing in to where Im parked and hitting my tailgate so I think theyre reasonably priced for the work theyre going to do. So if you want to estimate well I use the one in Baytown. So well see once I get a few more dollars together and then I can tell you about their work right now theyre honest and tell you the truth and they even give me a disc brake on both estimates I got from him from the best well from The medium paint job to the best paint job and theres only about $500 difference so Ill probably get the best one anyways thats all I have to say like I said you can either talk to Steve or a young lady by the name of Harley which I thought was pretty cool didnt get to ask her where shes got a famous name like Harley anyways yall have a great day and well see about the paint job Ill make another comment after the works done thank you. Did an excellent job painting my truck and getting it back to me in a timely fashion. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

The guys did great work and the paint was well above what I expected from them. Yeah they missed a few small dings, but my truck is 16 years old and not a show truck. Its a daily driver and tow rig. I would have no hesitation bringing it back if needed.

Best paint job you’re gonna find for the money and probably better than a much more expensive job at another shop. Had my 16 old sons truck painted here and they did a bang up job....no overspray...high gloss, very minimal “orange peel”...Went with the mid level urethane paint and sealer...only had one ding that I wanted repaired and they went above and beyond and looks to me like they took every ding out of the truck....very pleased. I️ worked with Dave and Steven the owner, both awesome, highly recommend this location! I️ drove from Kingwood to Baytown due to the positive reviews, glad I️ did.

I went here in December to get my hood and bumper replaced and painted after a family member backed into my car in the driveway. The pricing knocked the competition out of the water, but DO NOT BE FOOLED. It is only 7 months later and there are HUNDREDS of chips in the paint which of course they dont warranty because theyre rock chips... and while I understand to a certain extent that they cant warranty every issue that arises with paint problems, this one is definitely a problem that stemmed from their workmanship. It is very hard to understand how I could drive my 2013 year model vehicle for over four years and not have a single chip in the paint ANYWHERE, and seven months after having paint done by Maaco there are chips in the paint EVERYWHERE. Seriously Im not just talking about a few, they are everywhere, and my car only drives on highways and city roads. Theres no way Maaco isnt to blame for the chips in my paint. This company has obviously cut corners and done a crappy job, specifically because they know there is a loophole in their warranty process.The sad part is, I asked about the paint warranty before I got it done and I was told the paint was warrantied for the lifetime of the job, but nothing was mentioned about rock chips not being covered. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else and pay more so you dont have to pay someone else to fix what Maaco screwed up. Extremely disappointed and will never use or recommend Maaco to anyone. Ever.**And regardless of what they respond to me saying, I KNOW it was their fault. If I can drive my car in the same exact conditions with a factory paint job for four years without getting a single chip in the paint anywhere, I should have been able to say the same with a brand new paint job if the quality was worth a darn.

Working with the owner was great because he was very knowledgeable about his products and that made my decision easier as to the type paint job I would get. Looks new! Ive brought 3 vehicles in for estimates. BMW M3 convertible, an 2 Lexus.. Ive done business with macco in sugarland, an Houston. After my last visit Harly an i scheduled a repair for a decent price, but on the day of my drop off the owner was there an for the 3rd time i was given an outrageously high estimate, so i turned down the service. Being a service advisor for 20 years i know when someone just doesnt want to do business. The only thing i could think of is the color of my skin... I wont ever step foot on the property again, an if your of color stay away. You will get a great smile, an the entire time your being screwed. I ended up doing the work myself. I told a few people i know who live in baytown an they experienced the same outrageously crazy quotes. I encourage you to let people know. Voice your concerns. Theres a macco on westimer near hwy 6, an in Katy. The prices are fair an the work is awsome. No need to get screwed because of the color of your skin.

I sent my wifes car here because of their cheap estimate, big regret... They ended up doubling the price during prep, the car was not finished in a week like the owner told me, I had to pay for a rental for a month because I ended up having to bring the vehicle back for repainting. Very cheap paint job... All of these good reviews must be fake.

Horrible quality.... I went with the dual coat, the clear looks to be peeling? I spoke with the owner and hes refusing to fix, I just called corporate and theyre telling me this is a privately owned Maaco and they cant force him to repair anything, it would have to take it up in court in a civil case. Its only been a few months, warranty clearly says 3 years, not sure why I have to go through all of this, but I will never send any vehicle here.

They put the wrong parts on my truck and didn’t fix everything. They paint was done horribly. I had tow hooks and fog lights on my front bumper and they put a cheap bumper which covered both, knowingly. When I wanted it fixed they wanted me to leave my tuck while they ordered the part when they already had my truck for 2 weeks. There was white paint sprayed on my back bumper and my truck is black. On the paint job it looked like they just painted over the old paint without any prep work. Don’t waste your time go somewhere else. All these 5 star reviews are fake.

The dark factory paint on my 2005 Honda Accord was faded, peeling and even showed surface rust on the hood and roof. I considered buying a new or used vehicle but after receiving a quote to repair the blemishes and total repaint we made the decision to make the drive and have it done at Maaco in Baytown,Texas. Each Maaco is an independently owned and operated franchise. Maaco gets a bad rap because not all the shops have the same quality of work and for some reason people expect the cheapest paint job Maaco offers to look and last like a factory paint job.I went to the Baytown Maaco for a collision repair and paint job instead of going to the place my insurance had a contract with. Im very happy with the way my vehicle turned out. The front desk guys were very helpful and I got my vehicle back in a reasonable time frame. Give these guys a chance for your business if you need collision repair and/or a paint job.

For a heads up I paid $1775.00 to get my truck painted which is a 2016. For some reason the color code PCL does not match the PCL color code in 2019 leaving my truck a high blue metallic shine instead of a blue streak pearl glow. They said they will not re paint the truck even though he admitted that the color was different than the original color that is in the door jams. This color is still being painted on new model trucks. The Truck has also been returned twice for fish eyes and bad buff job. I was informed that the truck did not need sanding but it looks like a orange peel. Plus I was told the paint will darken over time. Im at a loss for words. I read the reviews first before I considered dropping off my truck but honestly I regret I did it. Please ask a thousand questions before you consider getting your vehicle painted such as cut and buff and is the paint going to match your previous paint. There is no reimbursement for the inconvenience on bringing your vehicle back. Im just being honest- weigh your options first.

Really disappointed in the customer service here. The gentleman who did my estimate was not very polite. He was pretty snippy and abrasive. Got the estimate, but i wont have the work done here. (Side note.... office smelled like dirty wet dog... )

I had my 16-year-old Toyota Highlander repainted and some minor bodywork done. I had previously done some price comparisons and decided to take it to the Baytown Maaco as they were the most reasonably priced. I am so happy with the paint job and bodywork they did! They did a fabulous job and I feel as though I am driving a brand-new vehicle. I am glad I chose the Maaco in Baytown. The people I dealt with were wonderful. I most definitely would recommend them without any hesitation. They do beautiful work. :)
