Reviewing the Bay Shore, NY facility. This is by far one of the nicest storage facilities in our area. I have been a long time customer and I can attest to the fact that this place is always clean and accessible. I would also like to commend Halima Joseph, the store manager. She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She has helped me get up and running with my storage unit and made the process completely seamless. She is incredibly helpful and makes owning a storage unit so easy. I never have to worry about the unit knowing she is in charge. From what I understand she has been with this company for 15 years. And I can tell you from personal experience, she is the glue that holds this facility together. Life Storage has a great employee in Halima and they should hold onto her for as long as the can.

***Updated review - original 3 star changed to 4, my next two visits no issue with the cart, and manager onsite spoke with me and wanted to make sure she acknowledged my feedback and took care of the issue and they are on top of customer issues. Thank you!When I signed up the process was super simple and the front desk lady was very helpful, they did however seem to push for a review that same day which is never a good sign because I haven’t used the service yet at this point.The issues I have with this Life storage in bayshore is there is never a cart to move your items so your stuck carrying heavy items or you have to bring your own cart, or hunt one down from one of the other buildings.I got a storage unit to make things easier to store my antiques but so far not much of an improvement.

Very helpful personnel! We selected an indoor storage unit. It was spotless, kept clean, and temperature controlled - never got hot on summer days. Tight security. For a few months, stored my daughters household items transitioning from college to Touro PA medical school, Bay Shore, NY. Would definitely recommend. She used Life Storage near the University at Buffalo over the summers during college and they were excellent as well. This is a well run company.

Every interaction with staff/management was friendly, enjoyable, and they were always looking for ways to give me the best experience. The move in and move out process was effortless, even during a pandemic.

I went into life storage thinking it’s going to be like the other storage unit rental place and to my surprise it was nothing like that at all. The person who helped me was Dylan, he answered all my questions, and I had a lot. He is extremely professional and one of a kind help when you need it the most. I was shocked by his vast amount of knowledge and extreme professionalism. Even though I didn’t rent from here, anyone I come in contact with that needs a storage unit or any other services they provide I will definitely recommend them to this store a 1,000 times over. Thank you for your amazing customer service and I may see you soon in the near future when I decide to move out for both the uhaul and storage needs.

Ive recently have been on the market for a storage unit and have looked around my area. I decided to check out Life Storage on Saxon Ave in Bay Shore. And I have to say hands down they had the best customer service! I spoke with a Manager who answered all of my questions and concerns. They were super polite and I would definitely recommend Life Storage to anyone who needs a storage unit!

I highly recommend Life Storage in Bay Shore, NY. I reserved and rented my unit online which was easy and offered a discount. Every time I went to the office I was treated with amazing service. They were kind, respectful and helpful. The storage space was clean, spaceful and super accessible.

First time user. My experience is a positive one. The associates went out of their way to make sure I am getting the right unit to accommodate my needs. They are professional but also friendly. Had answers to all of my questions. And the Life Storage truck is a life saver.

This place is great. I have other storage units for work and these people are by far the best to work with. They help me out by putting my packages in my unit for me.Prices are reasonable too, and my gate code works all hours. Plus its right off the highway so its super convenient if I need to quickly grab something.

I have had this Bay Shore storage unit since 2011 maybe 2012 back when it used to be called Uncle Bobs when i decided to move to brooklyn but needed a storage unit asap. I have had no issues over the years. The staff over the years have been very accommodating especially Ms. Halima. She has worked with me when I didnt have it quite together but wanted to keep my account in good standing. And that will always be greatly appreciated. Someone taking the time to work with me knowing Im not trying to screw them over. Life happens!! And I also thank Mr. Dylan who works there as well for they both were very accommodating as I recently cleaned and cleared out my unit after all of these years. I do hope my new storage unit thats closer to home is just as great with the service as you guys. Thank you very much for the great service over the years!!

Use to B 300$ for 4, Now 480$ for 4. Said its bcuz of covid, but dont wipe anything down, or rationalize th180$ extra due to covid.unnessesary! Was disappointed

Hatima was the manager the day I rented the moving van in Bayshore...She was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable....The van was perfect. I was on a waiting list for a parking space for over 1 year and was never called. I happened to stop in to see about a 10×20 unit. I had asked about parking spaces and the manager says oh some1 reserved our last spot this morning. I told the manager Ive been waiting she just said she couldnt help me and the guy had till saturday to take the spot. I called the corporate office told them Im ready right now to rent the spot, lets just say that call was useless. Went back a few days later ( saturday) to see if the space was taken, the guy did not take it and the manager still told me to wait check back on sunday. I then asked about the 10x20 shed and if they could give me a better rental price since ive been waiting over a year for the parking spot and i still wanted to do business with them, the manger told me no. I found a better and cheaper place 5 mins away. The next day and for 4 days straight i kept getting calls the parking space is available for you. TOO LATE

I have had a unit in this facility for the past 6 years ! It is clean and safe ! But what keeps me here more is the customer service . Halima is the friendly face that greets you upon gour first visit. She is friendly, curtious, and willing to help with anything you need . Her positive attitude is just what i needed when i lost my locks and could not find them . I was frazzeled to realize that while searching for christmas decorations i lost my locks in a box or somewhere in the unit and when i came in to buy knew ones i was stressed out and upset. Halimas soft kind nature said its ok now, you have new locks now so u can relax now. It was so simply yet I needed to hear it at that moment to calm down . So much that i am still outside in my car writing this review ! Thank You Halima !!!!!!!! And HAPPY HOLIDAYS !
