Christen at Thelen excelled in helping me with maintenanc of my Mazda6. She helped me add a service to the scheduled activities I already had planned, and she regularly gave status updates. Th prices and speed were very competitive with any other place I could have gotten service.

The reply below is a absolute LIE. 3 dealerships/auto repair shops later says your response is BULL. $2,000 in repairs so far. Your specs are not even close. Your mechanic who apparently did service on the 2013 Avenger should be fired. I have every part that came off the car and the measurements from 3 different service shops. And everything I found wrong is on my garage security cam, great sound and picture too. Its one thing to miss something or make a mistake. But this draws the line. You out right lied to me and I got 100% proof. And why would I bring the car back to you, when the job didnt get done right the first time, or not done at all. Your service on this vehicle is fraudulent. And how would I check the transmission fluid level without a rag, or vehicle running. Was smelling for burning as I reported that to your salesman. Garbage, absolute garbage.

Brought my car in for an oil change. After 50 minutes I was told they put the wrong oil in and had to change it again. 30 minutes and $75 later I was almost on my way except I had to get out and fully close my trunk. The employees were friendly but if I cant trust them to do a simple oil change properly I wont be back.

First impression is lasting! No hassle, no pressure, much patience with my indecisiveness, and went to bat for me when my credit score was not reflecting correctly. Angelo Santoyo is a great sales and leasing consultant. I strongly recommend working with him if your looking to get a new vehicle. Manager, Thomas Thelen has such an amazing demeanor. Great service department. People at the front desk are helpful and cater to your every need. They rock! Mechanics are so so. In the past, they misdiagnosed something that should have been a no brainier, and sloppy with routine service (replaced an air filter, but left it on the floor of the car for me to dispose of; said nothing of the rear wiper blade that was in dire need of replacement).

The Service Department here is the poster child for many of the reasons people do not trust dealership repair departments. They are way overpriced and want to drain you for every dollar. For example, I asked for a quote on a repair which I know good and well should be around $500 parts and labor. When this dealer emailed me back a quote of $900+ I was flabbergasted. I emailed them back explaining what the repair should cost based on fair market pricing I never heard back.Take it from me do not go here for service. I know what I am talking about. I have been an ASE certified Technician for over 18 years. I have worked in independent shops, dealerships, and overseas contracting. I currently work as a consultant for Fleet Maintenance for one of the world’s largest Fleet Companies. Trust me when I tell you this dealer is only looking to clean out your bank account.Do a little research online and get a second opinion elsewhere before paying these crooks to work on your car.

As always, our vehicle was serviced quickly and thoroughly. I dont always stay at Thelen while the car is getting an oil change-plus, but this time I waited in the comfortable waiting room and was kept informed of a few other needs for our car. We have been very pleased with our Mazda 6 and the service provided by Thelen! Thanks.

I called mazda for a recall on my 2001 mazda tribute they said they could fix it. So I had it towed to the dealer and they could not complete the recall they said the car was not able to be fixed. We still have a lown on the car and they wouldnt help with anything. And that they didnt halft to I live 2 hours away i had to pay out of pocket toget this car towed back and forth. Everything they told me didnt make any sense. I ask a question and they would give me a awnser then they wous tell me a diffrent awnser. They couldent get there story straight. Like no one knew what they were doing.

This review is specifically for the parts department, rather than the service and CS Departments.After a road incident which lead to my passenger side view mirror being shattered out of the mirror unit itself, I called Mazda and requested a replacement mirror, was given the price of the replacement, was asked the part placement specifically, IE which side of my car, and repeated it several times back, to which they did the same. After three days for the parts arrival, and just shy of two weeks for my appointment, I was informed that the wrong part was ordered. My father soon thereafter called the parts department, whom did not answer the phone after about 5 minutes of ringing. I had to proceed to call my father myself, hand the phone to Zach, and he himself had to walk over to parts, to whom my dad wished to speak, and they swiftly refused, my father proceeded anyway and requested an oil change as I had one scheduled that day, but cancelled in place of the mirror due to price, as I live over 30 miles away and have to take my gas into account travelling to and from Bay City for a part that was incorrectly ordered. From a distance the parts department seemed extremely dismissive of the issue and refused to accept blame of the part mix -up, stating they were uncertain of the issue whether it stemmed from Thelen itself or the Mazda Factory, apparently. As there was no manager on duty, a mistake in of itself, there was no real resolution to the issue aside from a, frankly, measly 15% discount on a part that cost 35 dollars in of itself with over 119 dollars in labor to basically clip a mirror into place. The satisfaction resolution, or rather lack thereof, as well as the stark rudeness of the parts department, as well as many people arguing whilst on their phones texting in the department behind the counter will motivate me to refrain from returning to this dealerships service department, as I will be likely looking into other Mazda Part Vendors that have a better rating, better customer service, and all around better attitude towards their customers whom are spending hundreds of dollars trying to resolve an issue that was made by the dealership, whom should be able to iron these things out prior to a person clearing their schedule to travel.
