I would come back here with any brake issue I ever experience. Kevin at the front desk got me checked in extremely quick, less than 5 minutes and had me in a bay immediately after.Seth the mechanic had my braking issue diagnosed AND fixed in less than one hour. They got the tire off my trailer and found bad brake pads (separation and a cracked I never saw).Seth is what every employer should desire to have on their team. He took professionalism to a whole new level. He made me happy, he was an ambassador for TA, he knew what he was doing and most importantly he cared!TA, this man deserves a raise, he deserves more than just a pat on the back. Hes a good man. Because of Seth and Kevin as well. I will for sure be doing business with TA in Battlecreek MI more often.10 out of 10!

Lots of parking. Easy on and off the interstate. Facility appears clean and well maintained inside and out. Well stocked store.

The worst mechanic shop. This place deserves 0 stars. After waiting 8 hours for a oil change, they told me that we can not change your oil! I was parked right in front of the shop and there was no truck inside the shop! I had to stay 2 more hours to rest my driving hours and still, the freaking shop was empty! I hate the fact that we get to be treated this way and hopefully someone will see this comments!

Roll into this place at 10:30 pm and talk wit the mechanic. They don’t have the parti need which honestly isn’t surprising since it was an 8’ exhaust pipe. He tells me they will order it first thing in the morning when the Volvo dealer opens and that they are going to need to send a big truck because of the size of the part. But they should have it done in the afternoon.In the morning, at 10:30am they still haven’t ordered it. When they do they send a truck too small to get it and later have to send the larger one. The part doesn’t arrive till 4:30 pm and I have to wait another two hours for a technician who is on a road device run. At 6:30 pm they finally get me in and it takes them two hours as I was told it would. I finally get out about 8:30 pm after being here 22 hours.It obvious they have no organization as the morning shift didn’t even know they needed to order parts for me. On their service sign inside they pledge to respect our time, but they have us over a barrel and obviously don’t care. The night mechanic was good and competent and came in right on the time he told me. But the rest of the staff are basically useless.

Buffet After order they bring me very fast warmed rice and not fresh salad but fish was ok. They don’t work quality they work quantity and make fast money

They fixed my truck in less then a hours there was two air chamber that needs to be changed the guy wess help me out he valued the time of drivers for running out of hours i really appreciate that👍🏻

Was caught in the rain this evening a part of the wiper linkage had broke. When you google freightliner this place shows up so I told him I was looking for a part, I was trying to explain the part I was needing and it was like he wasnt even really listening when I asked him if I could send a pic maybe to an email or his phone which I have done in the past when looking for parts he got all weird about it maybe the should just go find another job somewhere else. I certainly wont be spending money on my truck there. Totally useless

For the truckers. Went in to the shop to get all trailer tires changed. The service guys were great. Jacob definitely stood out, as very friendly yet very professional. Also, heads up for one of the mechanics working on changing the tires. He spotted one major defect on one of my air lines. I am glad he spotted this before anything major would have taken place. Sure, you have to wait a bit, but as long as the job gets done well and better than expected. Im all in. Thanks guys!

Plenty of parking but the mens room has no hot water but it was very clean. You need hot water to remove bacteria. I thought we were in a pandemic.

Plenty of parking... thats always a plus. No food except the food to go that has been sitting there who knows how long. The country pride is closed due to a dumb governor over covid mandates. I also needed to get my truck worked on and a light fixed on the trailer. They told me parking is first come first served and they cant save my spot... though I have been here for a couple hours before they told me to pull around to a bay... and wouldnt get to the work until they were done with other trucks. All other TA locations call you to come in.. thanks for making me lose a spot. I shouldnt have to reserve one if Im here getting work done and staying for the night. I hope this is my last time (at least for a long while) back to this bassackwards state.

Shop is horrible. Bought a marker light. Told the guy if its not the right one Ill bring it right back with receipt. 30 mins later i bring it back with receipt. Same person i dealt with the first time says sorry no refunds with receipt. Really 10.59 i just spent on a marker light and TA expects me to eat the cost cuz i was in there 30 mins ago bring back receipt with light fully packaged in box/plastic not ripped up or anything and you want to charge me for another cuz i got the wrong fitting??? That is horrible service on TAs part policy or not that is just plain wrong. I said to the guy myself if this is the wrong one ill bring it right back with receipt he said nothing about policy and bringing back lights

Lots of truck parking place was very clean and organized. Only 3 pumps open restaurant closed...some TAs restaurants open some closed all I want is fuel food and parking 2 out of 3 not bad. Staff was cool and helpful there is food in the area walking distance or delivery all in all Ill be back. Wish all TAs would open there restaurants already 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Was at this truck stop today 10/16/20, went inside to purchase a mount for my phone even though it’s overpriced as usual with most truck stops but was going to purchase it anyway cause I needed it. After getting the cashier to get it unlocked from the rack, and going to the register to ring it up I was advised that my choice of payment was not available at this location, it’s time for TA here to come up with the times, get the equipment to be able to process a mobile wallet transaction, mostly all other TA,s accept Apple Pay / Google Pay, but apparently this location is still in the Stone Age.

If youre not from around this location dont stop at this place for anything to get fixed, I was told to wait 2 hours for oil change on my truck and by 6 am ( 7 hours later ) from 11 PM the day before no one ever took the time to say anything or apologize for the inconvenience, just let me stay on their bays for nothing. Very unprofessional experience.

Restaurant closed due to covid just great how truck drivers are treated

This is nice place to stop and take a 10 hour break. It looks like it was recently remodeled and it looks good. I stopped there on February 6th and I had the buffet. The chicken was delicious. Check it out!

I went there and no one was there at counter at I waited there for an 20 min and then one lady came out and didn’t help me with my purchase and had very bad unusual behaviour . Hope to never come on this location . And this report is for Monday 11 january 2 am .

About 100 trucks parked here. There is absolutely no hot food available here. Not anything to eat but candy and chips. Not ever stopping here again.

Worst place for your truck service. I took my truck for oil change. They took 4 hours for even oil change. Guy work on truck was on training do not even know how to do change a filter. When I talk to technician on duty he did not care either. Paid four hundred for oil change.Dont tight the filter either. Never ever will go to this place.

Really nice manager. We forgot our trailer hitch there and he went outside to look for it for us. Very kind to take the time to check for us when we were 30 miles away.

Usually a good place to stop. They a have medium sized lot and reserved spots as well. The restaurant is pretty good they dont serve breakfast in the morning any more from what I noticed but good spot.

Employees behind the register are not wearing masks and interacting with the general public inside 6 feet. Given the traffic here, that is a problem. Id recommend finding someplace else to shop if you have to go inside.

Dinner buffet was hot and fresh. Nice variety of home cook type offering. Staffing was courteous and friendly. Nice atmosphere after a long day of Bravo Sierra known as trucking. Parking was plenty for a Tuesday.

Worst truck stop service, seems like they avoiding people to do work there, 4 days in raw had called for aligment and their response was we dont have nobody now but come tmrrw, i call again the next day set an eta with them we agree at specific time and i get there and all the sudden aint none there to do aligment, again 3 day same thing and the fourth day again set an eta get there oops. None is there again i was told, I confronted them then he says ye the guy for the aligment is still here but he leaving now, im like why telling me to come at specific time then keep switching the words seems like you dont want to do your job he was like just go and dont ever come back again here, well i left took my business elsewhere

I had the buffet, was ok. Soups were great, desserts were dry, left free sitting too long. Good salad bar.

Stopped for the night after along day on the road. Was looking forward to some rest, food, laundry and hit the sleeper berth. When we got in the only food in the resturant was the salad bar and hit looked like it was sitting there all day. The cost was way high for so little options. We had a short window to eat. The laundry room is horrible, the cost was over $3.00 and the machines dont hold very much. So way over priced.

I sat down at a table here tonight, and I waited about 15 minutes before someone ever greeted me. I had the buffet, the mashed potatoes looked like they was there all day. After someone finally acknowledged me, it took about five minutes to get silverware. After I ate, I waited about 10 minutes for someone to get my check. Turns out I wasnt even entered into the system yet. Finally got to pay, still got charged full price for my meal, and they didnt seem to like that I gave no tip. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Just came here for fuel, a bathroom and a place to park. Clean inside, helpful folks and quick pumps. Can get a little hairy while walking around or parking but its not too bad.Theres 23 paid for spots, 14$ each, and about 100 free spots. But get here early, they all go quickly after 6pm.

All diesel pumps were slow if not broken, no attendant at the check out counter, dingy feel. The worst TA Ive been to. The shower was nice except for the disgusting shower curtain. Very disappointed.

My family and I ate dinner here tonight, 7/17/19. For starters the service was terrible never offered refills on anyones drinks, never asked how the food was. Then we all got the buffet and the food that was there looked as if it had been sitting there all day. We had salads and waited to see if fresh food was coming out. I ate a piece of very dry chicken, the kids had the chicken also. My husband eats here quite often and mentioned it has never been like that before. I also asked if they had anymore dessert to put out, the reply I got was I needed to order that from the menu or eat the dried out piece of cake that was sitting there; apparently the buffet doesnt include it. Wow, never going here again. With such bad service and food, we were quite upset to have had to pay full price. I write a lot of reviews none as bad as this one except for the place that served us maggots.

Very clean hot showers, excellent service at the shop and great tasting hot sit down meal in the restaurant, as a professional truck driver I really appreciate that this TA didnt get rid of their restaurant for the endless wave of fast food like almost all the truck stops these days

I asked the woman working the Broaster Chicken stand if they were going to have more potato wedges so I could have one of the snack meals. She snapped back at me saying I dont know. I dont work up here. She couldve at least asked someone instead of throwing an attitude. Then the convenient store has a 2 for $3 special on brats, but theres no brats. Pathetic!

Lots of space for drivers...if you can get around the fuel lineup and the idiots who park along the right side...H Dr N is a nice country road to walk and stretch. Spots usually available until 1930 or 2000. Rest of the place is pretty standard TA.

Dirty parking lots. The trash is blowing everywhere! The truckers use the road behind their parking lot. Its a no truck road And they have no respect for anyones property. Turning around on residents property. Ruining their yards. They really need to correct this problem. Bigger sign NO BACK ENTRANCE and fence that lot in to keep their trash contained.

This is a nice TA. Large lot for parking. The shop does a good job. The restaurant inside has good food. Right down the road from the casino.

Decided to try them out for a Mothers Day lunch with my husband. Worst choice ever! McDonalds would have been a better option. The table was dirty when we sat down. The buffet was pathetic, scraping the left overs out of the pans just to get something on your plate. Food was barely warm and lacked flavor.....NOT impressed at all!!!

Im going to start with the 13.99 all you can eat steak, mushrooms, grilled onions, fried chicken and mashed potatoes, catfish and pork tenderloin! Everything I had was excellent, and the ladies who work there went above and beyond, really nice people.Especially that girl working the checkout, the one with the glasses, you know who you are girl ! Lol 

Ok, so a decent truck stop lots of parking. But may I suggest a new cashier for the restaurant. The women with the 1930s bouffant hair do needs to go. Im not sure if the hairspray or the over indulgence of perfume affects her hearing. But I literally had to say everything 3 times to her. Then she is yelling across the restaurant for another waitress to come over and do a take out order. luckily the waitress heard her on the second yelling across the patrons. Have some class lady... lesson the hairspray and perfume.. and get rid of the angry scowl on your face.

Ive been driving a truck for 13 years I think Ive been to every single TA in the country.And I just got better service and this restaurant then I have ever gotten at any other TA truck stop restaurant.I only gave it 4 stars because theres no such thing as Perfection this side of heaven.

They used to be good. Then they started being worried more about there bottom line. Then there customers.

Staff is rude, changed policy about how much fuel you need for a shower, laundry credit card machine not working properly and not posted anyplace, shower not as clean as should be, breakfast buffet only gets 1.5 stars because biscuits are stale, waffles not good, eggs dried out, sausage under cooked. TA seems to be going the wrong direction with their service. With as much money as truck drivers spend in these places you would think they would want to treat us better. I guess they are just more interested in money not customer service

Great quick spot. Easy for fuel. Right off the interstate. Large shop and I was in and out quickly. Pain in the neck trying to get OUT of here. The exit is inconveniently located across from the entrance of pilot and you have to turn left to get back to the interstate. If it weren’t for this it’d be perfect.

The only down is no designated bobtail parking with all the extra space thats here. It takes away from those who are hauling. Nobody likes being strong armed into buying reserve. The rest is great.

Lots of parking, restaurant, store, fuel, and service. I received expedient, professional and quality service from this TA location, even without an appointment. I would recommend this location for simple truck service at least. I cannot speak to the quality of more complicated mechanical service.

The service was very slow. I had the primrib that was good but the baked potato didnt taste very good. Plus there wasnt any soup on the bar didnt have soup

Terrible Shop and Mechanics! Took my trailer to get alignment done and truck for abs code there. There always seem to be only 1 person working that frequently goes on road calls. Waited 6 hours just to get in, they did alignment check and told me trailer was bent(!) as well as rear axle and not dot compliant. As far as ABS they said they need to dig deeper to find out. Took it Freighliner, trailer just needed proper alignment, and ABS was fixed under 40 minutes (wiring issue). I was charged over $190 just to check. These people are scammers! Beware

My review is with the shop. 3 am rookie admitted he had no experience with my problems. They forgot to write me in so I didn’t get serviced til 3 pm the next day. The wait did not bother me. I slept well and was in no rush. Reason for the 4 star is they apologized, gave me and co driver a free meal, got us in quick, and fixed everything that even another TA failed to do. In less than 30 min.

The buffet is a hit and miss sometimes its a home run other times a foul ball. The service center is great, they try to work with you. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

If youre in need of servive, this location is one of the worse of TA Truck Service. Much like the other reviews I read on this location, I can vouch that they are true. I came in for a PM Service at 10am, they got me to the bay door at 11pm and got me in the bay after midnight and out at 4am. The tech didnt tighten one of the oil filters enough and oil spewed out. All the techs were friendly though and the buffet in the restaurant is better than other TAs or Petros. They just really need to improve the service department.
