I was in Fresh Market last night around 8:00 p m couldn’t find an item. We finished picking out our other items and went to check out. The assistant manager Matthew asked if we had found everything ok and I told him the one item I couldn’t find. He then went out of his way to find it for me. That is service you don’t see a lot anymore. Thank you

I found the staff haunted... There is too little seating and too much privacy for clients... And so behavior is nasty like work out pants to buy utility groceries... All arrived expecting military quarantine instead of being at service to others... Prices let people undeserving have too much privacy from everyone... I dont think community service here was ever fulfilled..... Do not give to human rights groups...give money directly to the needy... If they can keep driving figure it out income... They will keep leaving the disease povertied for free hand outs to executive income only..... Only give directly to who is hungry or wants to eat.

Enjoy this location for not only the quality products/produce but for the large variety of coffee beans, cheese and wines. The service is impeccable and the cleanliness of the store is unmatched. The floral department keeps fresh flowers available all the time and the deli department provides delicious foods that can be taste tested. Fantastic store!!

While it is a bit expensive, its worth it if you want unique, rare, or high quality groceries. You can get premade beef wellington here! Its just sitting there in the fridge, waiting for you to grab it--you dont even have to ask someone behind a counter to get it for you! They have a good selection of fancy cheeses, drinks, snacks, etc. Their coffee section smells amazing, and the bulk snack section right beside it has some nice choices. The store has a pleasing atmosphere and employees are kind and helpful. Its great if youre looking for something special 😁

I stupidly bought sushi from them today September 2, 2021 and I am extremely sick!!! They are not answering the phone and anyone buying their sushi will suffer the same consequences!! Yes it was made today but not with fresh fish!!!!

I love this place! Even though they dont sell everything I usually need from the grocery store, whenever I need just a couple of things, Ill stop here. They have a pretty good selection of meat and seafood, and their deli is pretty good along with their prepared items. Theyre now selling packaged dinners complete with an entree, 2 sides, and everything needed to cook them. If it turns out well, I might stop by periodically to pick up something for dinner.

Im a fan of the store, overall. There are items that are stocked here that are rare in this area. I had a few grocery items to pick up and was pressed for time so I decided to grab a few deli items for dinner. I got 2 of the mini beef meatloaf entrees. They were pretty terrible. The texture didnt even taste like meat. They were heated according to the instructions (oven @350 for 15-20 minutes.) I couldnt immediately figure out what I did wrong for it to taste and feel so poorly. Then it hit me: I got prepared food from your deli. From now on, Ill stick to the groceries.

This is a very nice upper scale food store. I wont say grocery store as the pricing makes actual shopping for groceries unaffordable here. That said, there is a nice selection of specialty items that make this a worthy stop. The freshly squeezed juices are superb and something is usually out for a sample. My favorite thing about this store is the meat. Its fresh and many items are anti biotic free. On Tuesdays the ground chuck and chicken breasts are $2.99 lb. I think the ground chuck here is the best in town. The butchers in the bank do a nice job of custom cutting if you need something special. The ready to go own area can be a worthy stop for lunch also. Salad bar is available but a little pricey as well. On some weekend days the rotisserie chicken can be on special.

I went to browse actually, no intention for shopping. As know, high end grocer with a deli and food section loaded with delicious items. They have a good collection of spices and nuts. Pasta and some condiments seemed reasonable in price. The store decoration and atmosphere is really nice. There is an outdoor patio attached with the store.

I love this store, but they cant seem to provide a working phone number. I cant contact them and ask them if they have certain items in stock, so I am certainly not going to drive an hour to find out. So instead of being my go to for high quality foods, they are more of a last resort.

We started to purchase all of our meat and seafood from Fresh Market. While the prices are generally a bit higher than our regular supermarket, the quality is always excellent!

I love the store size. I can run in, get what I need, and run out very quickly. Besides from being convenient, their products are always fresh and of good quality. Its my absolute favorite store to purchase fresh nuts.

Omg this is my favorite store! The seafood is outstandingly fresh! The quality of food found here can not be matched anywhere in town. Its worth the drive and the price. The store is always clean and the staff is always helpful and friendly! Plan to stop by. You will not be disappointed!

So last year, I posted a one star about their meat. Last Friday I stopped by and picked up some more items and 2 pounds of Shrimp. Everything was like it normally is, great! I love the store and I wasnt going to give up on it because of some bad meat last year.

I absolutely love this store. Great quality food and customer service. I stop here when I am visiting family in Baton Rouge to stock up on certain items that seem to be nonexistent in rural Mississippi.They have a relatively nice selection of craft beers and wine. I was able to snag a few bottles of exotic herbs and spices I would otherwise order from Amazon.After signing up for email alerts, I noticed they run pretty decent weekly AND daily specials but Ive never been in town to check it out for myself. Ill return with an update when I do --

In Baton Rouge, its Fresh Market or Whole Foods. Fresh Market consistently has excellent produce, lots of fresh meat and fish choices, and (unfortunately) terrific impulse purchases (candy, etc) by the checkout lanes. Their deli/fresh food counter is stocked with great choices. Its hard to walk past without picking up a few extra meals. Until Trader Joes comes to town - and even if they do finally show - Fresh Market is the market of choice!

Over all the customer care is pretty terrible here! It’s pretty tough too cause I live in Perkins Rowe and this is the closest option for quick grocery’s. The lady checking me out today didn’t even bother looking up from her cellphone and was so disinterested and rude. Then she didn’t ask me if I needed the coffee I was buying g ground so when I mentioned it she simply passed on the bag to someone else so I went to tell the girl grinding the coffee how I needed it ground and she was rude also. After she had finished grinding the coffee she handed me the coffee opened, didn’t bother closing the bag at all and when I said thank you she simply took a deep breath and walked off. I’m so confused why this store seems to hire the worst people with zero interest in their jobs? Over all I’m very disappointed with this location but as I sad previously it’s right next door and to convenient to completely avoid, especially during this quarantine. If you go to this location I recommend keeping your head down getting in and getting out with no positive interactions. The manager however is very friendly and always makes a point to say hello when I see him so it’s obvious that he is trying to lift the moral of his store, I feel bad for him that he keeps hiring such doozies

A wide selection (including English Recipe Heinz Baked beans) will mean that I am back. Easy parking and a pleasant shopping environment are a plus as well. Prices are at the higher end though, for sure.

Always clean and well stocked. The process are a little high, but the quality is undeniable. Great for specialty diet items. The fresh coffee will change your life.

The meat department is always good. Have problems all the time getting any kind of service in the deli/prepared food department. More often than not I have to give up from purchasing something because there is no one there or they are rude and ignore you or the wait is way too long. In sum the products here are good. The service barely mediocre.

Prices are a little high but still reasonable. The fresh market brand products are actually very reasonable. Prices for milk and eggs are very low and complete with Walmart prices.

Its been about 6 years since Ive been in a Fresh Market with the last time being in Lafayette, La. This Baton Rouge location was nothing like the Lafayette store. The layout was terrible. Secondly I always used to get the raspberry pillow cookies and so I went straight for those..well the one pack they had out was expired yesterday so I asked for fresh ones.. hence The Fresh Market.. well no they didnt have any. In fact all of the cookies were nearly expired but my son begged for chocolate chips and I gave in. They bread selection was near empty. I got 1 honey crisp apple for $4.09.. yes I said 1 apple and its not even organic. I got half a bag of grapes for $7.41..yes half a bag. I also picked up a gallon of milk. When I went to check out I asked if they had ICE for me to ice my milk to make it back home (1 hour away) the guy said sure and rang me up a $2.49 bag of ICE. Maybe Im a bit spoiled by WHOLE FOODS..I made him take it off and I said no way. He then instructed me to the back seafood dept and told me to ask for ICE there. So after I checked out with a total of 6 items (no meat) for $41.00 I then walked to the back and waited 10 minutes for 1 of the 2 guys working to fetch me a bag of crushed ice half full. By that time I was done. He asked if that was enough.. it wasnt but I wasnt waiting 10 more minutes. The staff was rude, it was so dark in there I could barely read the labels on things. Pretty sure the scales were way off especially seeing the price of my 1 apple. NEVER AGAIN! DO NOT SHOP HERE! Whole Foods is a few miles away and Ive always shopped there and will continue. There is not one reason I would ever come here again.. not even for fresh pillow cookies.

Went on the 4th of July and bought a Berry Chantilly cake that had fresh berries. Went two days later and all the cakes had rotten berries on them. I havent returned since then as the meat looked the same way. It looks like they try to unload the old food that is spoiling but at the same price as fresh . Not cool at all. I dont mind paying a bit more for high quality but not for something that looks like if you dont cook it or consume it right then, it should be thrown away.
