The cookies and dessert are usually very well made and delicious, however sometimes there is a chance of very hard and unpleasant cookies. The customer service is pretty much a miss. It is very difficult to communicate with the store given the curbside pick up number as there is usually no response. The store does not update people on their situation either which can be infuriating at times.

They didn’t have many varieties of cookies to chose from. It was basic cookies. Overall they was good.

Cookies were good but a little on the pricey side which is why I went 4/5 stars. If you like soft, gooey cookies then this is your style. If you are more on crunchy style then choose a different place. Service was good, decor and cleanliness was ok.

Im not one to go on a companys page to complain, but, boy, is this review well deserved. We ordered our cookies at 8:30pm. After the first two hours, we decided to give Insomia a call for an update. Strange that you would have to wait two hours for a delivery, is it not? Well, lo and behold, no answer. We try them again. Again...NO ANSWER. Cool. Cool. Well, its 1:30am, and my boyfriend decides to check his phone again (hes been checking it at ten minute intervals) to see if the cookies have been delivered. Well, they were. Strange that there was no knock at the door, no ring of the doorbell, no call to the cellphone. He goes to the door, gets the cookies and we wonder how long have these actually been out there? The ice cream is completed melted, and the best surprise of all....a HUGE roach in the box. Heres a picture for your enjoyment! (:

Okay so first of all I NEVER write bad reviews for restaurants because I understand that things happen and I don’t want to be a Karen. BUT. oh my god. I placed an order at 8:15 pm and had to call 5 times before I just canceled my order. The delivery driver brought our order to the wrong apartment, then they had to wait for him to get back, make the order again and we were told to wait another 1-2 hours. Keep in mind we were initially told that it would be 30 mins. I was also told I couldn’t get a refund unless I called a customer service number on their website, then called again later and was told they could process my refund now??? it is approaching 1AM and this has taken up WAY too much of my night. Go somewhere else or pick up in person, don’t bother with delivery. Can’t say I blame the staff, they seem just like college kids. Probably understaffed. Raise the wages or incentives and hire another driver or something. I can assuredly say I’m not ordering from here again. Deeply sorry to the staff who tried to help.

I prefer $40 worth of cookies an tipped the driver at 6pm. It is now 10pm and I still never got my order! I called servers times and had to wait 5+ minutes for someone to answer the phone! I WANT MY MONEY BACK! Never again will I order from here!

Before driving across town for these cookies we checked the closing time which reflected 1 a.m. We entered their doors at approximately 10:30 p.m.& stood in line for 15 minutes to only be advised they were out of every cookie we were interested in. A sign on the door would have been appropriate & could have spared multiple persons wasting time.

Took a group of 35 students there last night. They were so rude. We understood 4 people at a time, so we waited. They began to yell at us for opening the door so many time. We would let one out and one in at the same time to keep it at 4 people inside. The students were standing outside talking and they came out yelling.. you cannot talk outside the store. No one spoke nicely to us, they only yelled or barked commands. They even came outside, took orders for the people behind us, and served them before our group was finished. Never again.

Called to place a small order at work for delivery ASAP around 6:15 pm...we were given a 45min- 1 hr time frame to receive it. This was fine with us seeing as we would be there until 8. Someone called around 7:15 pm to say that they would not have any delivery drivers until 9 pm. We attempted to call Insomnia to cancel our order seeing as we were leaving work at 8 pm and were basically told too bad so sad cant cancel and no refund... You shouldnt offer a service if you cant follow through in a timely manor and then to not allow us to cancel our order when the service was not as advertised is beyond unprofessional and rude. Not to mention the fact that every time I have gone in here they have been extremely unpleasant...they even “closed” for 20 minutes randomly one evening for a “shift change”. Not sure why that was necessary when there were plenty of people in there that could have been helping people. Instead they were standing around not helping any of the customers that were already in the door. Such a shame to put out such good product but have this poor of operation standards.

This place is horrible. I drove an hour to get cookies and the lady said it would take an hour to make new cookies. I sit in my car and see them putting cookies in the cookie holder. People walked in looking like their friends and she happily gave them the fresh cookies in the bin. No masks were being worn while customers were out of the shop. I really think masks should be worn when you are handling peoples food.

Last year I went to Insomnia almost every Friday, and EVERY TIME I went I was satisfied. The cookies are almost 2 dollars per cookie and are always warm and tasty. You can also purchase ice cream or a beverage with your cookie. It’s the perfect late night, midnight snack!

You cant screw up icecream and cookies but their customer service was lacking. They took FOREVER! When we pulled up there were only 2 people inside then a couple walked in. They only allow 4 people in at a time so we were asked to wait outside. Keep in mind we went at midnight on a Saturday... but there were 4 workers; 1 was sweeping and came right up on us while we waited in line, 1 was wiping down all the surfaces, 1 was heating up the cookies, and 1 was making the orders while taking payments. By the time we finally placed our order there were several people waiting outside. There was no hustle, no desire to put the broom down to go help with the orders. And while they put my brownie in my cup some crumbs fell out. The guy grabbed them with his un-gloved hand and proceeded to sprinkle the fallen crumbs into my cup. If I didnt just witness him washing his hands, the girl wipe down the counter, and have a million people waiting behind me in line I wouldve made them remake it. Like, what? We are not close like that. Thats something Id expect from my mom but not when going to a place of business. Now I said all of that, but it wont detour me from going back. Its the only 24hr ice-cream parlor. Just a memorable moment that was not ideal.

Waited 3 hours and never got the cookies :,) ordered (12 am) the first time I called they said it was out for delivery (1:18 am) then I called again (2:15 am) and she told me it said delivered (at 1:08 am). Had to redeliver for tomorrow, cookies r good but delivery is 0/5

We order from insomnia cookies because we got excited about the vegan cookies (shoutout to all the vegans!). Well what transpired after that was disappointing on every level. First, they deliver the order to the wrong address. Then once the kind neighbors give us our cookies we find out that they didn’t deliver the full order. To make matters worse, we get go to eat the cookies and they are hard as a brick (no exaggeration!). We all know insomnia cookies are usually soft and moist. These were hard abs dry. Then when we call the store about the missing order we are met with attitude and unprofessionalism. This was a huge disappointment with the Baton Rouge insomnia cookies location.

Holy explicit! We pretty much got every cookie since we live two hours away and would not venture out to Baton Rouge unless for a concert or event. Let me tell you, I would become a fat cow, if I lived close to this business. We chose to wait until we got home, warmed them in the microwave for a bit, and then ate some (explosion). Amazing. Im a big fan of cookies over other sweets and these were the best Ive tasted. Well done. Round of applause for you guys.

Myself and members of my high school cheerleading team went to insomnia after a late night game and when we arrived they were unreasonably rude and made insulting comments to our coach while she was attempting to order. There are 31 girls and as we waited outside in the rain -attempting to follow COVID protocols of only 4 people inside at a time- we were visiting and the workers rudely addressed us multiple times threatening to make us leave, giving mocking and rude hand gestures and cursing at us as well. Meanwhile the workers were not wearing the mandated masks appropriately or wearing gloves while speaking to us and also while preparing our food. We are extremely dissatisfied as we have previously enjoyed visits at insomnia every time we visit Baton Rouge, but we will no longer be returning after this experience.

Traveling here from NC and was EXTREMELY disappointed. Rude staff. I have a health condition which means I cant wear a mask. They would not take my order even though they have take. Would not come outside to take my order. I will never shop here again.

Extremely disappointed! Used to be a huge fan about a year ago until the new staff arrived and the owner is very rude as well as the workers. they do not use the correct COVID protocols .. masks below mouth and no gloves ! As well as terrible attitudes and foul language to other customers. I do not seem to be the only one who has noticed this. Do not recommend and will not return along with many others. With the staff they have ...and customer service they will be out of business soon !

The best cookies in town

I’m not the one to ever write reviews because it hasn’t gotten to the point where I have to but this is absolutely ridiculous. As I am, at the moment writing this, I still have not had my cookies delivered. I placed an order at 9:39pm exact. I called an hour later and was told it was leaving now and will be delivered between 20-40 minutes. So basically 2 hours at this point. I really don’t understand how hard it must be to deliver cookies within a reasonable time.. it’s just cookies. 2 hours is NOT it.

I almost never write a review, however after having the same thing happen at least three different times now, I believe they deserve one. Delivering cookies shouldnt take 2+ hours! I shouldnt have to call customer service to find out where my cookies are only to hear that theyre still at the store over an hour later and should be going out with the next driver only to take another 30-45 minutes at minimum. Tonight I actually ordered cookies to be delivered to a fire station as a thank you for their service, but by the time insomnia got there all the firefighters on duty were asleep so I had to get the cookies delivered to me. The driver got my address wrong and ended up somewhere completely different and called me a second time to ask for the address. I have also had numerous instances where I have called the store and been hung up on before even getting to talk to somebody. Im extremely disappointed and will probably never order delivery from them again.

Used to love the service till the rude lady with the bandana started being around there more. Talk about horrible customer service. She is so rude and yells at customers. Im not the only one. Made a comment about her on snapchat and about 6 others slid up commenting they knew exactly who she was. Yelling at people is completely unnecessary when none of them are wearing masks on the other side of the counter.

They used to be really great and I couldnt resist stopping in if I drove anywhere near there. They were always warm and had the perfect texture of soft in the middle and lightly crispy along the edges. But the last two times Ive gotten cookies theyve been rude and the cookies have been undercooked (and Im not just talking about chewy). Theyre just downright mush in the middle. Not good.

I’m not one to complain but I went in to get some cookies and the cashier told me I looked really thick. Which was fine, I get told that often no worries, but then he started licking his lips at me while I was trying to take my order. Waited over an hour and a half for six raw cookies and melted ice cream. I left special instructions to knock. There was no knock, just a box of raw cookies and a melted tub of ice cream. These people really really suck. Avoid at all cost.

I would give this zero stars if I could. Took AN HOUR AND A HALF FOR DELIVERY and I live 7 MINS AWAY. Cookies were cold. Contactless delivery but I was literally physically handed my cookies. My cookies were 80% raw dough (only the very edges were cooked).Horrible. Dont do it. Go buy the dough and make cookies yourself. Faster cheaper and better all around. I wish I had done that instead. Lesson learned.

Really good cookies, no complaints

This is the second time in the last month weve ordered from here. The first time it took 2.5 hours for the cookies to get delivered. We called customer service and they gave us a coupon for 6 cookies. We ordered them at 9:30 p.m. tonight. It is now 1:00 a.m. and we still havent received out cookies. We spoke to the store several times and I received a text saying that my cookies would be here in 55 minutes, yet never received them. Will not be ordering them again

One of the best cookies I have ever had the pleasure of eating. They serve them warm and soft, almost gooey, which for me personally is the best way to eat a cookie. Highly recommended. They also offer ice cream that rivals Baskin Robbins.

Delivery takes 2+ hours! I live 3 minutes away and sometimes can’t just walk over. Cookies are usually okay, but sometimes I receive rancid cookies 🤢 Or, with delivery, the cookies are cold and stale.

It took a long time to get a refund for an order (22 days) but the people were nice and cookies are delicious.

We ordered a 6 pack of cookies plus the delivery fee and a $2.00 tip then we call after not receiving the cookies for 45 minutes THEN the lady for customer service tells me I can wait another 30 minutes for delivery or go pick it up myself but I will NOT GET NOT EVEN THE DELIVERY FEE BACK. So I drive literally around the corner to pick them up and the cookies are COLD. The lady at the store said “sorry there is nothing I can even do” so needless to say, NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN.

High price for decent treats. So the ice cream is fine, not much flavors. Cookies are tasty. It just seems like a lot of money for not a lot of sweets. The staff was super friendly.

Just came in tonight on August 7, 2019 around 9:30PM. Lady working the front was not only very rude and had an attitude, she didn’t include part of our order. It’s one thing to pay a high price for cookies (which are very delicious indeed) but it’s another thing when customer service is definitely lacking. It’s a shame that this one lady had to ruin the experience. Definitely need to hire employees who don’t have attitude problems, especially when it’s a person’s first time.

Cookies almost 24/7...what more could you ask for. They are baked (mostly) fresh and come out (mostly) warm. Add in an order of milk, maybe a brownie with some ice cream on it, and youre set! Another cool point is THEY DELIVER! So you can be at home (within a certain mile radius) and have hot cookies show up at you door for only a few bucks extra! Its like magic.

Ordered some cookies and a brownie. Took them 2 hours to deliver it. The cookies were smashed together so it was just basically one giant undercooked cookie. Can’t even call the place, they didn’t pick up the three times I tried. Save your time and money and bake your own.

Terrible service. I made an online order 24 hours before I wanted them to be delivered. Nothing showed up. Called, waited 25 minutes on the phone. Was told they were behind but my order was coming up. I said, no rush just make sure they are at my house by 9pm (before I start getting ready to bed). At 9 I called only to have a recording tell me the wait would be 30 min. Hung-up and emailed them to cancel the order. I was woken up at 11pm to continual phone calls. They wanted to deliver the order at 11pm. I told them no. I am asleep. Who are the people running this store?!? I would never eat from a place this mismanaged. This is the first review of a store I have ever written. This company needs to take note and make some serious changes. I didn’t even get an emailed apology. Not a word. I waited days before I posted this to see if they would attempt to make it right.

The cookies from Insomnia Cookies are wonderful and delicious. However, the service and delivery time I experienced with this location are beyond unsatisfactory. Ordered a box of 12 cookies to be delivered to my location. However, my order never arrived despite waiting 2 hours and I had to drive to this location myself. Despite explaining my situation to the employee, he was extremely rude and unprofessional. The behavior exhibited by him was incompetent and very ill-mannered. Extremely disappointed.

Really disappointed. Purchased cookies at 11AM for my team. At 6PM they still had not been delivered despite setting a time multiple hours in advance. When closing it still said they had not been started baking. This morning it says they were delivered which never happened. I know it was Valentines day, but the lack of response (cant even get someone to answer the phone) is disappointing. Guess I will have to have the bank charge back the $40+ dollars

Cookies are the BEST with makes it worth the visit even though the service is the SLOWEST on earth when they have more than 2 customers. The employees need to be trained better in order to not become so flustered when having more than one customer. I love the Insomnia Cookies app because I earn $10 to spend on cookies for every $100 I spend in store, which I earn quickly considering how expensive the cookies are.

Staff can be very unfriendly at times, i stood in line for a few minuets and was not even acknowledged of coming into the store, two men that night one-night I came in to two very friendly young ladies that greeted me and made me want to place an order . Cookies are always great !

I love the deluxe smores cookies. They are always warm, soft, and gooey. I wish this place wasnt so popular because theres always a long line even at night. Traffic does however, die down in the later hours after midnight. I do wish they had bowls for to go a la modes because the ice cream leaks through the paper plates and cardboard boxes they use. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to charm a sweet tooth.

Cookies are amazing!!! So good every time. But customer service is seriously lacking. We pre-order 20 Minutes early every time & then go to pick it up & tonight we STILL waited over 35 Minutes!!!!

Fidst time going, got the cookie ice cream sandwhich. Two HOT snickerdoodle cookies with vanilla ice cream in the middle. Amazing! Also we had a friendly host who walked us through everything. Great experience.
