My family and I came down to help with the hurricane relief and wanted to try some authentic beignets in Baton Rouge. We got the beignets, fingers, and were brought complimentary toes to try. They were all delicious and the fry was absolutely perfect. The insides were fluffy and perfectly complimented the taste. A few of those in my party have had the famous beignets in New Orleans, but we all agreed these were the best! I’d dare say these rivaled Tiana’s beignets in The Princess and the Frog. 👑 The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

Awesome people great vibe. Obviously the food is fantastic 😋🙂🙂🙂. Clean and well-lit parking lot. Clean building as well.

Very authentic beignets. Literally the only thing on their menu besides coffee and other drinks. I would’ve liked to try these with honey on top but the powdered sugar was soooo good. Definitely worth a stop on any road trip!

Beignet with powdered sugar and cinnamon was so tasty! They were served hot and the center was doughy.

We got the regular beignet and the fingers.We we were super stoked about coming here and driver over an hour to get here but the guy at the register seemed like he didn’t want to be there and a little off putting.Aside from that the place was super clean and super fast. It looked like they made them on the stop.The coffee I got was perfect too and they served it in mug! I recommend it.

Not only were the beignets delicious, the customer service was beyond 5 stars! The owner is so sweet and made you feel like you were the most important at that moment! We ordered regular beignets and He even threw in some fingers, which were fun to eat! When he found out we were not locals he was blown away with gratitude that we chose his spot! This is a must stop when in Baton Rouge!

Service was super friendly, coffee was hot, the beignets were sugary and the place was clean. They have lot of local pictures on the wall to give it a homey feeling. This was the first time I was there but my family visits several times a year and always tells me that I missed out going to Rue Beignet.

I will always choose Rue Beignet over the competition. Ive had friends who worked here and met the owner myself and have nothing but good things to say. I moved out of state years ago but every time I come back home I stop by Rue Beignet. And every single time Im delighted with the quality of the food and the above and beyond service.

First time trying this place from word of mouth.....we had the finger bengiets and they were reminiscent of home but just a little too thick...I would definitely recommend to friends

I ordered a dozen Beignets and a chicory coffee, Ive never had either but I was hyped up by many about how good they are here. I was able to split the 12 into 3 (powdered sugar) 3 (Honey) 3 (Nutella) and 3 (cinnamon sugar) and I have to say they were all AMAZING. Fresh, warm, fluffy and soft, the coffee was hot, smooth and had a hint of a nutty flavor from the chicory. Ill recommend this place over and over and over! I cant express how amazing the food and quality is. Im a devoted customer now.

Horrible service me and my african American wife walked in to be greated by stale unwelcoming faces. The owner who spoke to 5 Caucasian people didnt say one word to us. Afther about 2 minutes of us standing at the conner the girl that was just siting down starting I finally asked her who takes the orders ? She shook her head to signal me to order. Despite my instincts telling me to turn around and walk out I went ahead and ordered. The beignets where horrible its like they just took a dinner roll and threw it in the fryer then coated it with sugar will never return first and last time . And will definitely steer people away from this nightmarish place

Was with family who wanted beignets and selected Rue Beignet based on the reviews. Ordered 4 orders of beignets for pick up and was told it would be 20 min. I arrived after 10 and they were ready. Staff was very friendly. The beignets were hot and packaged well in a large box. The beignets were dense with lids of sugar. I prefer my beignets to be airy pillows, so I would not be back. If you have not had a ton of beignets to compare it to or you like dense beignets you might really love them.

This was a return trip, and I’ll go back again when I’m in Baton Rouge. It doesn’t match the Café du Monde experience in New Orleans, but the fresh-cooked beignets are large and tasty and service is good. My order was over-covered with powdered sugar; you might consider ordering with no sugar and adding your own to taste. Café au Lait is mediocre. Better choice is getting regular coffee and adding your favorite flavoring syrup.

Cute, kitchy cafe with lots of local art, knick knacks, beignet and coffee. Also have milk, juice, iced coffee, sodas, etc.

Rue Beignet was great find! Same quality beignets without the drive to Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans. The beignets are fluffy and cooked made to order. The employees were so nice and she even put a few extra fingers in the bag for us! So sweet! I did favor the traditional powdered sugar over the cinnamon sugar beignets. We have been back with friends after our first visit. We did not get coffee on either visit. The inside has nice seating and usually very peaceful. Worth a try!

Ordered black coffee and cafe au lait. Cashier said theyre making some. Brings out 2 pots of coffee, pours both pots in the Cafe au lait, pours a cup of Cafe au lait and hands it to me and asked if I wanted another coffee. Yes, I ordered black coffee because Im lactose. Oh, well we can make more. No thanks, cant get my coffee right, Ill take my business elsewhere. Would not recommend Rue Beignet due to service and competency!

This is my go to stop on my drives to Nola. Great beignets and they also have very good coffee. Its in a small plaza next to a great little sandwich/grocery place. There is plenty of parking and the bathrooms are clean. Quaint and clean!

The fingers and toes were really good and my kids loved them. We couldnt eat the beignets though, they were really thick so the outside was cooked but the inside was still raw. Everything else was amazing, we got everything pretty quick considering how busy they were and it was hot!

I never leave reviews, but these guys are amazing. The quality is always there. We went to coffee call, and it was terrible. It felt old, but it was most definitely fresh… They just overcooked it. HOWEVER RUE BEIGNETS ARE THE REAL DEAL! They know how to make it right !

We stopped by on our way through town and were pleasantly surprised. The shop is clean and the owner greeted us at the door. Beignets were delicious, especially with the variety of toppings offered. Frozen coffee was s treat, too. The service was outstanding. My daughter kept talking about what a happy mood the owner was in.

I am visiting my mother from Prescott,AZ and I love this place. I will definitely go back not only because the beignets are fabulous but the customer service was phenomenal. I am guessing the man that waited on us at the counter was the owner and he was so kind and friendly. You could just tell the people there were regulars. I have worked in the restaurant business for years and was so impressed by the vibe at this place❤

I literally drive 15m there and 15m back home to get these when we REALLY want beignets. They are the best. They are the denser style (which we like). Not empty and airy.

Ever since opening this was my wifes and my favorite beignet stop. It was close to our home the staff is very friendly, and everything they make is excellent. It is a little pricey, but probably needs to be considering their location and competition. The upside would be theyre very nice with children, and even offered my youngest a free plate of fingers lagniappe.

We certainly enjoyed this bake shop! The gentleman who worked there greeted us at the door with a warm welcome. His shop was very clean and inviting. We struck upa conversation while placing our order and told him we were celebrating our 50th anniversary.When he brought us our hot and deliciousorder he also brought us a free powderd beignet with a lit candle. He took our picture blowing out the candle together! If that wasnt enough, he also gave us a free cup of beignet toes to enjoy on our way back to Texas. He even walked us out the door and stood and waved goodbye to us. Texas is known for our hospitality but nothing compares to this manshospitality! If we ever have the opportunity to come this way again we surely will stop here. If you are craving beignets it is well worth your while to visit this shop with the very friendly man!!!

Dropped in this morning to buy two dozen beignets as a thank you to our local fire department for visiting our children yesterday afternoon. Yen, the manager, quickly created them deliciously, and offered me a sample and cup of cafe au lait complimentary while I waited! He even delivered to my truck, opened and closed my driver’s door AND stood outside until I safely pulled off.. waving and thanking me. Wow! Service at its best! First customer of the day has its privileges. If you need a job they are hiring😊.

Adorable shop with a cute New Orleans tea room feel. Sells some of the best beignets we had while in Louisiana. Comes with a choice of sauces and a small option called fingers. Reasonably priced even when ordering a large order of them. They also sell their mix you just ad water knead separate and fry. The coffee au lait was awesome and was definitely the pick me up we needed to make the trip home.
