Mike is an expert... He takes time to diagnose a problem rather than guess. When you get an estimate it is usually the final cost. I recommend my friends and family to Mike always!

Warning, DONT use them! This place was highly recommended by a friend, brought my car in recently when it had overheated, terrible mistake. Terrible communication, they had my car for over 2 weeks, wouldnt call me back or answear the phone. I had the car home for one day, heat stopped and engine starting making noise. Because first experience was so bad I brought to another mechanic. They destroyed my car, had to replace everything they did. They also broke my timing belt cover and just zip ties it back on without telling me. Stay away from this terribly run business.in my radiator

The Dellefrattes have been a friend of my parents for years. My dad got my first car from them. I had my car break down (I couldnt turn the car without struggling with the wheel), and Mike came to my house looked at the car, told me what was wrong and fixed it for me at a reasonable price (not like other places you go to). Thanks Mike.

I will not use this mechanic againI waited until over a week had passed before reviewing this shop, because I take my reviews seriously, and was extremely frustrated with Mike Dellefratte the owner and ONLY mechanic here. This is a ONE man shop. He cannot keep an employee for more than a few days. Ask him.Mike fixed the transfer case on my 4x4 diesel truck (damaged at Valvoline in Warren, RI during an oil change. Mike DID complete this repair quickly, and correctly. There was a small drip from the bolt on the new case, but its since been tightened and no longer drips.HOWEVER - when I picked it up from his shop, it died on the drive home, and I had to call AAA for a jump. This continued the next day, and I brought it back to Mike for a diagnosis. I had to get a rental car while this happened, on my own dime.He then had my truck for nearly a month, giving me the song and dance about his foot, his sister in law, every excuse in the book.....Finally he decided to replace the gas pedal, which did nothing to correct the problem.I took my truck and brought it to Paul Masse Chevrolet in East Providence the next day, after a full 23 days in Mr Dellefrattes shop. Paul Chevrolet Masse fixed it the first day they had it. There was a foil seal from fuel additive suctioned to the pump intake hose. Back to normal.Mike STILL charged me for the gas pedal, and held my keys hostage until I paid him $300! I contacted Barrington, RI police dept, and they said I was far from the first person to call about Mr. Dellefratte. All in all, using Mike Dellefratte as a mechanic cost me $300 for an improper fix, over $1,000 for the rental car. And I STILL had a broken truck, unable to function at all.Chevy fixed it in a day, and it cost a few hundred bucks.
