I have been a customer for years, and Im so grateful to Karen and Paul and their staff. They have serviced several vehicles for me over the years and truly work on All Makes: Saab, Lexus, Honda, Volkswagen, Volvo, BMW, Toyota. They are honest, and Paul does excellent work. Theyve done all types of service from the standard oil changes, tire replacement, rotation, and/or alignment to replacing the fuel line in my car after mice had eaten the line. The cost is reasonable, especially for the careful work that is done! Karen is always there to answer the phone, and she works with me to get my car serviced as quickly as possible.

I’ve been selfish by not leaving a review for the best auto repair shop ever. Secretly, I don’t ever want anything to change about this place because I love it so much.Like most women I talk to about car maintenance and repair, I have felt taken advantage of, ripped off, convinced my vehicle needs something that I don’t have the time, energy, or interest to research, price out, verify, etc. by so many mechanics throughout the years. Until now.From Karen and Hayden at the front desk and phones to Paul and his crew in the shop, Barrington All Makes Auto feels like family. And, they are a family. So I guess that could work out. :P Truly, they do everything right. Their honesty, communication, willingness to explain every single thing, and flexibility are just amazing. I’ve certainly taken advantage of their loaners when my car is being worked on. I feel so fortunate to have found them. I look forward to being a loyal All Makes Auto Repair customer for years to come!

Never use this place !! warning!! tried to charge $500.00 for a $ 2.00 Napa part. when confronted instead of making it right told me not to take cars there any more. place is a scam. That is biggest line of BS I have heard in a while!! First, the replacement of one wheel stud is a factory fix ! and when I called Paul he said cant be done and all you can do is replace the whole hub on a Subaru, no other options were discussed. Anyone one can look this up . He just wanted to rip my Daughter off and when I came in the office I was very nice and told him I was willing to let it go, everyone makes mistakes. But when I called to come in again, YOU said he was embarrassed that I caught him and that I was no longer welcome there.

Had a coolant alarm come on in my car. Master scheduler, Karen, got me in right away and master auto repair extraordinaire, Paul, only had to stick his head under the hood to see the problem right away. Ive been going to SAABTech since 2002 because my warranty expired and the dealership pricing was outrageous. My 9-3 has 320,000 miles on it because of Paul whos a mechanic genius. Karen is awesome, exceptional customer service. I will drive my car forever....

If you have a Saab, take it here. Very knowledgeable mechanic who wont sugarcoat anything and explains to you the dirty details. Will definitely service my 9-3 here in the future.

I would never go anywhere else for an inspection or service. The owners are wonderful and the mechanics do an excellent job. I was originally thrown off because they used to be called Saabtech, and assumed they only worked on Saabs; they work on all cars and changed their name to reflect that. The mechanics WILL find the issue and have been my best experience with mechanics.

This shop charged me $900 to fix power steering line which most likely used but charged me for a new one then I go to get inspection sticker and fail because of the same problem the they fixed less than a year ago scam
