Unlike all the other gift shops in Bar Harbor this shop is family owned and operated which shows in the quality and care of their products and costumer service.They provided us with the very best recommendations on local eats and must try activities in Maine. Thanks to them we left for NYC with 30 pounds of Wild Maine blueberries. Once you hit the visitors center, stop into Little village gifts for great local recommendations on the freshest seafood and unique gift items available in their shop. They genuinely care about your visit to Maine and how you and your family experience the state.Support local businesses owned by true Maine natives! Majority of shops in bar harbor are not owned by true locals, but by people who have moved in to exploit the locals and make a dollar by selling inferior quality products to tourists.

Just one of many gift shops in town. Snap shop, but much packed in and well organized. I was able to find the perfect gifts in this shop, all topped off with friendly service at checkout.

Its more than just a shop, its an experience! Your shops drew us in from the beginning. Heck, we ended up going into your shop 2 times! People, if nothing else, Lauren is worth meeting! I am blown away by the level of customer service at this shop. When a product wasn’t in stock in my size at either store the very kind woman running the shop went above and beyond searching for it and even went as far as taking my name and number in case she was able to locate one. Sure enough, I got the call that she had just the right one and would bring it in for me the next morning. Grace, I can not thank you enough, you have made my day. Your kindness certainly will not be forgotten and we will definitely be visiting you again when we come back to town.

Little Village Gifts has two locations in Bar Harbor with the nicest staff you’ll find in town. They were quick to call their other store when we couldn’t find a certain sweatshirt in my wife’s size and found it for us. This is a locally owned family business that really enjoys helping their customers find something they like. A very family and kid friendly business. Support local while you’re in town!

The man behind the counter (Shawn Porter) was incredibly welcoming and kind to say the least. He had a warm demeaner and welcomed us into his establishment with open arms. The store had a wide variety of souvenirs and cute gifts. The store was a perfect stop for a tourist looking for Acadia/Bar Harbor memorabilia. We will definitely be returning to this shop, thanks to Shawn.

The owners are such humble, down to earth individuals with great local recommendations . They sell high quality merchandise with a selection at 2 different stores. Little Village Gifts was the only gift store I purchased from in Bar Harbor during my stay in Maine, and I’m glad I did!

What a pleasant surprise. Great selection of hats. Best we could find. Also the owner was so helpful and knowledgeable of the island we learned some really nice things to see and tricks how to see them. He’s a local and super nice guy!

His shop was very clean and orderly as well. The gifts were very nice and had a great price! I stopped in a second time to ask a few more questions about the area. Super experience! We wandered into this store because of the cute items in the front. What a great experience - they had great items and for fair prices. The husband and wife team are a pleasure and it was great to have a conversations with them! We loved what we purchased and didnt see them elsewhere.

Great selection, not your typical souvenir shop, unlike a majority of Bar Harbor shops they carry more unique items! The owners are amazing, we shopped in both of their shops and had great service from the owner in one shop and his mother at the other location! Its nice to shop in a place where the owners are passionate about providing great products with amazing service!

Great gift shop! Loren, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. He sells a great variety of the North Country Wind Bells for a reasonable cost. He was very knowledgeable on the variety of bells and their beautiful unique sounds. It was great to support a gift shop owned by a friendly local.

We stopped in with the kids to look for souvenirs of our trip to Bar Harbor. This shop has a great selection and fair prices. The shop owner went out of his way to welcome us and talked about some of the items with us. Id highly recommend stopping in here.

Super chill owners - sweet hahts with sweet hats.

Today my boyfriend and I dropped in on this quaint hole in the wall store. The owner was there and kindly greeted us right away. There were some very cute household decorations and a fun interactive goofy section up top. We settled on a very artsy tshirt for my bf (the last one in stock) and the owner gave us $5 off the shirt! It was awesome and I felt content helping out a mom and pop shop. They have genuine trinkets and products. A must see gift stop!

On a recent visit to Maine, we found Loren and Little Village Gifts. There are a lot of options (and competition!) for gifts in Bar Harbor, but this store stood out. Loren talked to us for a good while and gave me advice on which hat to buy. He also gave us a couple of waters for free after the drug store had closed. When we visit again and need more memorabilia, Little Village is where we will go. Thank you!

Went to the Main Street store. The owner was so friendly and full of info. Didn’t know much about the blueberry market or how much Maine was involved. She was so friendly, when my wife and daughter was thirsty, instead of going to a nearby store, I went back to Little Village Gifts and bought some water and soda. Thanks for being so welcoming!
