Very helpful people. Yes, there is a $7 fee for pre paid parcels, but they tell you that straight away. And the ease of parking along with the terrific customer service makes it worth it.
Rude staff, we called ahead and was told they’d be able to provide notary services. When we got there around 1:45 we were told that the notary provider was at lunch and would be back at 3...but that the notary left at 3. The guy told us we’d have to come back another day.
The employees here are always super helpful and really nice. I come here whenever I need to send or print anything. Much better than the post office and theres never a line!
This location charges $7 just to drop off a prepaid return package. It clearly states on UPSs website there is no charge for prepaid returns. Go to a different location and avoid this place. Plus the customer service here is always terrible and rude. It doesnt matter who is working. I went here because it was convenient but no more. I cannot recommend this UPS site.
Different from every other UPS Store. Various services cost money here that are free at other UPS Store locations. Do not go here.UPS should revoke this franchises license.
Dont go to this location. Ive honestly never written a review for anything before but I feel compelled to write one for this UPS store. First off the staff is rude, I completely agree with what all the other reviewers have written. Never before have I been someplace where everyone just seems to have utter distain for their job. On top of that they charge $5 just to drop off a package that has already been paid for... Ive never heard of this and honestly it sounds like a scam. In addition, I shipped a package from this location and they charged me an extra $3 fee in addition to the regular UPS shipping fee. This place is an outright scam and should be closed because it gives UPS and the UPS store a bad name. I wish I had read the reviews on this site before going there and taken my business elsewhere. I have also complained directly to the UPS store corporation about my treatment at this location.
I mostly use UPS for Amazon returns and this place charges $7 to drop off a prepaid package!!!!!!!! The employee said they charge the $7 because this UPS is located in a hotel, whatever that means... avoid this location and just go to the UPS in Canton. They’re great!
I had a package delivered to this store. It was delivered several days late, and since I was out of town and not able to pick it up, I called the store to let them know I was declining the delivery, and to please have it returned to the sender. They said they would. Almost a month later, I get a call from the sender stating that they hadnt received it yet. Turns out, the UPS store never sent it back, and never bothered to notify me that there was any issue.
Went in for a print job and had a terrible experience. Pricing was so much more than another store. Charged more than twice the amount for binding. The pages were super dark, crooked, and off center. I got a lot of attitude from the staff. They clearly knew it wasnt a good product and I dont think they cared.
My wife and i tried to ship a package from this store. The employee was insultingly rude, asked to fill the wrong forms, then cut us off half way and refused to serve us further. “This is not how we ship things here” she said. After many attempts pleading with her politely we asked for the manager. He politely served us in 2 minutes. We asked a friend who lives in next door complex because of how horrible the UPS employee’s behavior was. Our friend said the entire neighborhood knows about her and prefer to drive to the next UPS store over.
Unbeknownst to me, UPS stores are independently franchised which is why I believe all of the people below were charged the additional fee for prepaid shipping. That being said, I shipped a relatively expensive watch and the insurance for the watch was 6 times more than what online charged. Will not be returning.
Paid to overnight a package with a check that NEEDED to be delivered within a week to my former apartment complex. Spent a good chunk of change on that. The check was not delivered. In fact, the tracking says that the apartment number was incorrect or missing. This was going to the office of the apartments, not an apartment unit. I was not notified that this check was not received until September 19 when I had shipped it April 21st. Its always a pleasure to be notified by a collection agency. Called yesterday (9/20) and was told Id be called back in just a few minutes. No call back. Called again today (9/21), told to contact the UPS company, they told me it was signed for by HARRIS at the UPS Store and I should call them again. Called again... told Id be called back in just a few minutes (by the manager). Still waiting...I want to know why I wasnt informed of a discrepancy to the delivery. Why wasnt I informed that it was returned to the UPS Store on June 2nd? What was the actual discrepancy preventing delivery when I know the address was correct? Will I be reimbursed for the money that I spent for the overnight shipping, and the apparently poor shipping that the fees were charged on top?I didnt have any issue with the money I paid for this package to be shipped where it needed to go until it was not delivered. This UPS Store failed an already pessimistic customer and UPS as a whole will never be a requested service again. Going to FedEx for any deliveries regardless of convenience.
Very defficient service with an attitude. Amazon returns are supposed to be prepaid but this store charges you $7? And the explanation is because they are part of the Marriots BusineS Center. Then adopt the customer service of the hotel!I just walked away as I did not want to waste my ttime and energy. I drove to Canton instead to a real UPS store. After looking at previous reviews, the owner spends his time responding to bad reviews with the quote of this is a special UPS venue... Well... Here is an idea: Make the store self-service if you cant control the quality of the customer service. The owner should stop responding with this non-sense statement and spend time at the store rectifying the multiple issuesproactively and not after the incident occurs.
Extremely rude staff. I called to inquire about a package that was dropped off there for shipment and the person would not look into my situation. I asked for the manger, who supposedly wasnt working. When I asked for the persons name who I was speaking to, she hung up on me. Horrible customer service.
Just stopped in to ship some things home and had an awesome experience! The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful! You cant beat the convenience either.
I have usually had good experience with UPS, but this time I have had to suffer because the store guy put bad address on my important visa package! Still waiting for it to get delivered to the right address!Update: The package was delivered eventually to the right address after I involved multiple parties.. And eventually I was offered a refund for the inconvenience caused.
Prior to leaving home I called to see if I could get my document notarized (11 am), and they said it wouldnt be a problem if I got there before 4pm. I was there within 15 minutes, there were 3 employees sitting in the back room and they said they dont do notary. I told then I called a few minutes prior, they pretended to make a phone call, then said the notary wouldnt be there for another 45 minutes. Avoid this place if possible
Fast, efficient service! Went to drop off a package and was helped immediately. I was in and out within one minute.
Id give it zero stars if I could. How the heck they gonna charge fees for prepaid packages? Dont go here!
How can they say they are a UPS Store? They do not have UPS envelopes or containers to provide. They will gladly sell you a brown envelope or box. What a joke!
This is the worst experience I have ever had at a UPS Store. For the most part, I have been very satisfied with the customer service with other locations but the people here were acting like teenagers as they were talking off to the side. The lady I interacted with could not have been more disinterested and standoffish. The other major point of contention was the fact that I am a guest staying at the hotel and had a package shipped to me at the hotel. Normally, packages would be kept at the front desk, and I would pick it up upon checkin. This hotel and UPS Store requires a fee to receive packages.Overall, this was a bad experience due to the poor customer service and the additional hostage fee for handing me my package.PS. There is an Amazon locker location a block and a half away at the Whole Foods. Would have had my package delivered here had I known it was available.
Terrible store. Unfriendly and they attempted to charge me $10 to drop off a pre-labeled, pre-paid package. They were quite rude about it, too. I left and gave it to a UPS truck on the street. For free. I dont support a business who gouges people. This place is really bad.
I read the horrible reviews for this store and they are absolutely justified! The notary public was very rude and told me she was leaving..2 hours before closing! Apparently they only have one. Good luck catching her.
Had a very quick print turnaround and Morgan was able to coordinate everything for us and get the job done! We really appreciate it!
I showed up at 815am and there was a sign on the door saying he will be back in 10. 30 minutes later he came back. I entered to find out their ONLY printer was broken. Finally, 20 minutes later they fixed it but the formatting of the print job came out wrong that he printed for me. I was forced to spend $8 just to log on to their computer for 1 minute to print. Needless today say I wont be going back.
This place is hard to find not a good place to go I recommend going to a UPS that can be easily found
Drop off fee for a prepaid package? Really? Completely agree with the reviews below.
Went in for color printing. The printer is terrible. Dont even bother coming here.
This location charged $7 to send or pickup packages, even on prepaid ones or on top of the postage. Do not go.
Absolutely the worst shipping center ever. additional fees and a rude staff
They are awfully bad. My package has been lost one week after shipment. Its been 2 months now, I ve called more than 15 times so far, the manager and the stuff never return my call and I am still seeking compensation or explanation. This is just unheard. In the meantime the central UPS company refuses to help since supposedly every ups store runs individually.
Walked here to drop off a package. It is on the 3rd floor of a hotel and charges $5 to drop off a prepaid label package! Seriously!?!?
Inconvenient despite the location. No drop-off fee advertised, and attitude from staff is probably a direct result of having to surprise people with the handling fee. Id be pissed too if I constantly surprised people with a hidden fee -that sucks.Tl;dr: $5 drop-off fee, not worth it, dont take staff demeanor personally.
7 $ to return items why ! Its free of charge why u want to charge me !
Google, please add a note that this is a business center inside of a hotel, not a stand alone store. It does not serve the same functions that a stand alone store does, and it is misleading to list it amongst the stand alone stores.
Dont ever ever ever go here, they will charge you a $25 handling fee I was like, WHAT?? i am already paying you to ship it,, I boxed it, taped it, filled out the shipping slip,, etc,, no other UPS Store I have used does this complete SCAM!!
F this place. They charge fees just to drop off packages that already have the UPS freight paid for. Rude customer service as well.
$7 to post a pre-paid package? No thanks!
This is not a UPS store as advertised, see the owners posts. $5 fee if you want them to do anything.
I tried to drop off a couple returns and they said they charged a handling fee in which was based on the weight of each package. Ridiculous.
They will charge $7 for a prepaid package if you are not guest from the hotel, be aware or just choose somewhere else
Since the store is inside the Hotel, they charge you a fee to drop off prepaid UPS items.
Apparently this location is in the Marriott. Not really convenient to just run in and drop off.
A fee to drop off a prepaid package ~ absurd
Charge a fee for packages with prepaid label
They try charging additional fees for deliveries, ON TOP OF SHIPPING FEES. Unbelievably terrible service here. Go to the store on Lombard instead.
They charge extra fees if youre sending Amazon returns.
Charges a Handling Fee for Pre-paid packages. Do Not Go Here!
No service and what they do they charge forZERO stars
Hidden inside Marriott and charges extra fees
$5 to drop off a package I packed...
The UPS store is not here, its at 211 E Lombard.
Its hiding in a hotel. The staff is rude, almost racist. And tried to charge me a handling fee to accept my prepaid packages. They could not produce written documentation proving it.
