Highly recommend Orly moving. From the beginning, Ben (Sales Dept) was extremely helpful and flexible on pricing and scheduling. I appreciated his patience with me as moving is already stressful enough. On moving day, the movers were on time, communicated well, and were experts. They brought extra materials like tape, blankets, etc. in case we needed them (which we ended up needing, even with as prepared as I thought we were...!). We had a three story house in the city (Baltimore) and it took them two hours to clear the whole thing, including basement. They brought it up to Harford Co. and unpacked within two hours. The best thing, to me, was they unpacked everything into the room it was labeled to go to. Such a time saver for us!!! The movers were professional, happy/pleasant to be around (and it was down pouring!!), and focused on the task (not on their phones, chit chatting, etc.). They communicated breaks as needed. Were truly happy with the service, quality, and price. The process start to finish was great.

The team was great! They really did a great job and moved quickly. Any last minute supplies I needed, they had. Their packing service was right on point as well. Not only did they pack the precious china, they packed it well. I recommend Orly to anyone who needs to move efficiently, economically, and quickly.

Our move from Baltimore to Boston went better (and cost less) than I expected. The team of 4 movers arrived to our Baltimore unit on time, worked quickly and efficiently, wrapping delicate items and moving everything with care. My experience was awesome, I’ve never used a moving company before. My coworker and her husband used them for their move. She could not stop bragging about her own experience. They were careful with the items and was working all the time without idleness. 3 people showed up instead of qouted 4 people but they got the job done on time so I was okay with it. I was really satisfied with the move, but looking back at my bill, things are a little off. I was charged more per hour than agreed, as they sent me more movers than quoted. I was also charged double for the travel time, and packing tape and supplies was extra, when I was told this was all included. I understand I paid less than estimated because more guys meant a faster move, but at the end of an exhausting day, I wish Id looked over the bill a little more carefully to understand it, rather than settle for under budget. The price still ended up being the same as all other quotes in the area, so Im not saying they ripped me off, but if youre on a tight budget, know that there may be surprises.As far as the work goes, this was my first time hiring movers, and I was very pleased with a job well done. They were very quick, wrapped everything big and fragile, disassembled and reassembled items that were too big, and put everything in its place. Moving day went very smoothly.

We used Orly for a move from Baltimore to Ellicott City with another stop in-between. The move ended up being much bigger than anticipated, but Josue and his crew were nothing but professional. They were very quick and efficient, and moving took much less time than we thought it would! We also paid them to pack our kitchen for us. Although they packed everything up, and nothing broke, I do wish they had packed things a bit more neatly (like our spices were all thrown into a box mixed with other kitchen items all jumbled together, and not stood up on their ends, so if any of the caps had come off there would have been spice powder everywhere... fortunately they were all closed tightly). Also, when I called on the phone to get the quote, I asked if they would move potted plants, and the person on the phone said yes, but when the movers arrived they said they dont move plants. They did end up moving them eventually, but the miscommunication was strange. Those were just some minor inconveniences, though. Overall, they are really good moving company!

The BEST experience I have ever had with a moving company, and this was my 11th move. Not a thing they werent willing to do to get the job done well, including not giving up on a treadmill that most movers would have given up on. Julio (17 years and 11 months with the company, as he proudly told me) and his team are the literal best.

Estimate was for three movers, and we actually got four! The team arrived early, very quick and efficient. Took apart furniture, wrapped and handled with care. Whole two bedroom apartment moved in 3 hours just about. Highly recommended, also very price efficient. Go with orly movers!

This is the second time I have had the pleasure of hiring Orly Movers. The foreman Julio was polite, on time, and incredibly efficient. He knows his job and performed it flawlessly. His men were also very professional, and worked very hard in between snowstorms and freezing rain to get our belongings to our new home. Although we have not been able to unpack everything yet, we are pleased to say that we have not found any damage at all. I would recommend Orly without hesitation. Orly moving is my go to moving company. Moving back from New Jersey, I called a popular company in NJ out of curiosity for a quote, and Orly’s price was over $700 cheaper. I can always trust them to transport my belongings carefully and efficiently. In my most recent move, they arrived early and worked very efficiently to pack my entire apartment into the truck in well under 2 hours. Both the foreman and the other mover were great with answering my questions and communicating their plan. It was a big, stressful move at the last minute, but they made the whole process easy and stress free on moving day. I cannot recommend Orly Moving enough!

The crew that arrived on moving day worked quickly, carefully, and efficiently, almost magically. Orly Moving team were on time for our move. Both Ben, in sales, and the three movers were responsive to our special needs because we had paintings, sculpture, a piano, antiques, and other items from around the world that our parents had accumulated in their travels. The items were not only precious, they were of great sentimental value to us. The items needed to be distributed to four locations--locally, in-state 60 miles away, and out-of-state 150 miles away. The movers were professional in handling our items and packing them so they would not break. AND nothing was broken!!! Everything was delivered to the correct location! These guys know what they are doing and they are good at it. So we highly recommend them and would rely on them again.

An amazing and professional team. I sold my house and rented a UNITS storage pod. I needed to hire movers to put my furniture and the rest of my stuff into the storage unit. Julios crew showed up 15 minutes early and got right to work even before I finished signing the contract. It was freezing rain and had previously snowed, but they didnt track any mud or salt into the house. They maneuvered the truck in tight spots flawlessly leaving room for cars in the neighborhood to get by. They completed the entire move in 3 hours. Best experience moving ever! I will definitely recommend and use them in the future.

Orly Moving recently assisted me in my move after my settlement date was pushed back and i was in a scurry to find a new moving company. The head mover Julio was very snippy and unprofessional upon arrival because his truck was “too small” to fit all of my stuff even when i called and spoke to Ben (who answers the calls in the office) the night before saying i had a few more things i needed moved. I was assured it was based on the hourly rate and not to worry. I had to tell them to wrap all of my furniture and was told not wrapping it “gets it done faster”. I honestly rather my stuff be taken care of even if i had to pay extra.. i even opted for the extra insurance coverage- which was an additional $100 to insure my things had anything broke in transit. Well turns out - two items were broken upon arrival to my new home. When i brought it to Julio’s attention he immediately starting yelling at my “that was not from me.. no no no i did not do this”.. i have pictures of my furniture prior to the move- i showed him there was no damage prior to the move. He insisted i was a liar. He began to get defensive and raise his voice at me- very unprofessional!! I called Ben and reported everything who then sent me a damage claim to fill out. I filled it out, sent photos, etc.. i called after sending to ensure the company received it (which i got a confirmation that they did and it was in review). I am still waiting to hear back after i was told i would be called by end of business day two days ago. The extra insurance seems to be a scam and i am highly recommending anyone to stay away from this company!** on a side note the two other young movers who assisted Julio were very nice and polite!

This company was extremely professional and very easy to deal with. I felt like they were part of my family by the end of the day! They took great care with all of my furniture and even moved heavy items to a different location when I wasn’t happy with the way it looked at the original spot. My settlement date kept getting pushed back and I was having a hard time finding movers to help me with a within Hanover PA move. Orly took me on, and when my date kept slipping because of my buyer, were very flexible. Ben in particular was a godsend in a move where everything else was going wrong. I hope not to have to move again but if I do, Orly will definitely be my first choice.

This moving company was the only thing that worked out smoothly in this moving process. I was the worst kind of mover. Initially I was scheduled to move 9.30.2020 from an apartment into a house. I found out 5 days prior to the move the home wouldn’t be ready until 10.3.2020. So I reached out to Orly and they offered a storage option. Then the day before the move I was informed the house would not be ready until 10.5.2020 at 3pm. I called Orly and they added the additional two days of storage and accommodated the late move in. The whole process including storage was $1305. The teams were professional, on time, east to work with, careful with our belongings and honestly a blessing in an extremely stressful time.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with this company. First, they left their contract at the apartment I was moving out of. They asked if I could drive one of the four of them back to grab it while the others loaded the couch into the new apartment. While I was gone, the three other men rummaged through my apartment. Stole $200, and 3 other known items from the apartment. I did not notice anything was missing until hours after they had left. I called the company and was assisted by a front desk person who rudly accused me of lying after I explained what happened and asked for a manager. They ended up hanging up on me. I realized I had the number of one of the movers because they called me for being an hour early. I called that mover, which is also the same one I took back to my old apartment, when we were on the phone he ADMITTED to one of his men stealing and TAKING PHOTOS of my apartment. None of these men were also wearing masks during this pandemic. I am absolutely appalled by this and how the company decided to handle it. I will never recommend or use this company again. I am upset, angry, and feel violated.

Their service varies from crew to crew. We were unlucky and had a crew leader who was impatient, and at times became belligerent. Towards the end of our pack-up day he seemed to grow tired and bored and told us that nothing more would fit on the truck, even though there was room and the contents of our home had been surveyed twice leading up to that day. Then the company decided to take some of our possessions off the truck and store them for a week before sending on another truck. Some of these possessions were key to our move, such as clothing and some expensive pieces of furniture. There was damage throughout the move and some of our favorite pieces will never be the same. The insurance they offer is a scam and doesnt insure anything, its just another way for them to make money. Also the truck was in terrible condition with a lift gate full of rust holes. This is a company that presents itself as something it is not.
