I recently wrote a review about this place and Im taken a guess they deleted it... I would give this place a 0 star review if I was able too. The old man here and the younger man are both disrespectful and rip people off I dont recommend this place at all they dont value their customers at all. Go somewhere else dont buy or sell anything to these a holes

Great shop! Decent selection of jewelry with incredible prices. The staff was remarkably friendly and helpful. I walked out with a necklace and a ring and was given a great combo discount. Even with the high gold price, these guys were still able to get me a fair price. Anyone in the area should definitely come take a look!

Ive been to this shop Multiple occasions and never have been let down. Staff are friendly and informed about what they sell. Ive pawned and purchased multiple items from video games and televisions to rings. Highly recommended and local to a lot of areas

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The young guy has a nasty attitude. He is very obnoxious and rude. I said hello nothing I said thank you nothing. I was inquiring about selling an item. I will never ever go there again. So whoever is reading this go to the pawn shop on Baltimore Street they will take care of you.Response by owner: This review is confusing. Is it possible we didnt respond to a question because of not hearing you through a mask? Were sorry if you had a bad experience, but find the mention of a competitor in your review to be unusual.You could hear me very clearly through the mask. Like I said the young gentlemen was very rude and obnoxious. And I am quite sure this is not the first time. In regards to mentioning your competitor he was accommodating you were not. Do not try to give a excuse for your behavior. Here is a suggestion give a customer respect and an experience rather then PR for your reviews. If you do those things I recommended above then you would not have to respond to every review. The reviews would speak for themselves.

I just a great deal on a wrench set ... and man the guys here were great we must have talked for an hour I will return they have some great things here.

Asked how much I was looking to get for my items then basically belittled me because it was less than he was willing to pay. Do yourself a favor and stay away. You will be lowballed and you may not even be treated with respect.

This is a really great place to shop.I walk in and was greeted very friendly and quickly by the staff looking for a rare find that I been searching for all day. I ask the staff member do you think you have a Xbox 360 slim power cord. The staff member said yes sir I think I have one and walk to the back, it took him no time to return with the power cord.The happiness I felt once my search was over then he said it will be $8 but for $15 I will throw in a 360 Kinect. I responded with yes and thank you and paid for it.Then he told me here’s a gift for the holidays. I walk out with more then what I bargain for three items for $15 then the staff said Merry Christmas I walk out 😁 like my son is going to have a very Merry Christmas,thanks to the staff at South Harbor Pawn Shop. Now when I’m in the hunt for a good price and rare find my first stop will be south harbor pawn shop, thanks guys and keep up the good work.

Looking at the comments, not sure if we are talking about the same place. Stores policys arent customer friendly. I felt swindled and couldnt even get a store credit. If it look janky it probably is.Lesson learned.

Professionalism! Courteousness! The right price! I stopped by the shop to have the battery in my watch replaced, I was in and out in 15 minutes. This was my 2nd time visiting the shop, the 1st of which being an item pawn which was also a transaction that was processed with absolute satisfaction. I was assisted by an associate named Mike, if youre ever in need of watch repair or pawn services, go check out South Harbor pawn.

Mike was very helpful...I went in for 2 TVs and was given an amazing deal. I had my eye on one tv but told him what I was looking for and he found me a smart tv for a better price! I’ll definitely be back in the future!

I am leaving 5 stars for the following reasons... I was able to find what I needed today quickly, and priced reasonably. The younger guy working was super helpful and friendly, and even carried the air conditioner out to the car for us.. beings I am a woman and my elderly friend brian was with me... even tho I said I could do it, he insisted on helping. The AC was for my elderly friend brian, and is in heaven right now on this 80 degree night, soaking up some cool air. Thank you South Harbor Pawn

The staff was super helpful and very understanding of my needs. I went in looking for some unique jewelery and they helped me find something of suitable quality in my price range. If you want to be treated like a respectable human being in this world, I find a little effort goes a long way. Its easy to bypass human interaction and just use the internet but I prefer to deal with good people in person, and South Harbor Loan does not disappoint!The staff is also very knowledgeable when it comes to gaming systems, jewelry musical instruments etc. They will give you realistic offers on your pawn and fair prices on your purchase

Okay so I bought a PS4 and a game that Ive always wanted to play b4 I bought the game I ask if he would try the game on the system because I had saw him just trying a movie he then told me if the DVD works the game work not true I was disappointed because I did not get to play the game I also ask him if the game doesnt work will I be able to bring it right back he then said to me oh no because we dont know what you may have done to it, before I even walked out the store with it then I came back months later and I talk with someone else and I told him the same thing and he started talking about if oils got on the disc and dripping into the system (giving me examples of why it might not work I guess) and maybe the system eye needs to be clean and saying if you touch the disc and put finger prints on it okay Im a grown women I put the disc in the way I was suppose too the disc never worked from the jump I even bought a brand new system and it didnt work yall can clearly see no scratches or anything just this rainbow wave effect but I tried to take the game back to a pawn shop and found out the game had some type of rainbow effect which I thought nothing about when I bought it or i would have known not to by it but I had no idea about it at the time I just trusted them and figured if the game dont have any scratches itll work clearly I was wrong smh when I ask for him to put the game in and see if it worked he should have done that which leads me to think he may have knew what he was selling me and he got one over on me but I also just bought a brand new madden game that looks similar to that game no scratches with a rainbow wavy like on the disc so I dont know why it doesnt work the system I bought from there worked but I was upset he wouldnt even try the game and the game didnt work for either one of my systems
