Ive been looking for a good and diner to grab breakfast on my way to church for a while. My wife and I found the Double T Diner this weekend. Excellent sausage gravy and biscuits, with just the right amount of seasoning and lots of sausage. The biscuits were fluffy and not too heavy. My wife had the Greek Benedict. She really enjoyed the chunk of feta cheese on this. Despite the business of the diner when we arrived, we were seated promptly and the service was quite good. I think we have found our go-to diner on the northeast side of Baltimore.
I had Eggs Benidect and my wife had Pumpkin Pancakes. Just wonderful! The service was great.
Party of 10, ordered everything from breakfast through dinner items. Waitstaff was friendly and efficient, no long wait times. Overall satisfied with the food and friendly staff. Prices were average considering the typical difficulties of limited staff and food shortages occurring today.
The vegetable soup was the best soup I ever had ! I really enjoyed my Pink Flamingo, and my Hangover burger was a culinary delight !! A veritable Trifecta ! A major key point of my visit, was our waitress, whom has served the Double T for over 30 years !!
Calling in to order is a nightmare every time. Sometimes itll just keep ringing and never get answered, other times they will answer and throw you on hold for 5+ minutes without saying a word. Numerous times they have given the wrong sides or havent given them at all. The quality of food is the same as what you can make at home. Honestly what I make at home is better. The only reason Ive ordered here is my wife for some reason likes it going off of how it was 4 years ago but even she has had enough and is done giving them chances.
Excellent Sensation Omlette & they substituted applesauce in place of potatoes. Sis said her omelette was great. The waitress was busy but did not forget to refill our drinks. 👍
Dont feel like making breakfast? Call them! Everything was hot a fresh. Crispy Bacon tasty Pancakes! Omelets and home fries. Everything is in the bag.
Super disappointed in this meal from every perspective!! I ordered creamed chipped beef and it was the only thing eaten and it was mediocre at best. I specifically did not select potatoes because I hate potatoes and you can see from my pictures they had been smothered with it, instead of the bread being covered. (sorry the pic is from after I ate my chipped beef) I paid $4 for scrapple that I did not receive, the bacon was just flat out gross! It had no flavor, was freezing cold, had just a rubbery texture and was undercooked (by my standards, I know everyone likes their bacon different). My other half ordered a Cuban sandwich which was missing the pickle and mustard on it. Then also missing the soup, coleslaw, and pickle on the side and the fries were undercooked, wet and cold (the only thing warm upon arrival was my chipped beef). I get that we ordered Delivery so by the time food gets to us it may be not as hot but this was ridiculous all around!! You all need to do better!! I have been eating here for over 20 years... I actually remember this location being built and used to skip school to go here and get breakfast and I have never been so disappointed in the food as I am today!! This is a new world where delivery has taken over dining in and it deserves just as much care and attention as when someone is sitting in your restaurant!!! Do better!!!!
Our go to restaurant for comfort food and good service. Food is always good.Love the cream of crab soup and crab cake sandwich. My husband always gets grilled cheese with ham and he loves the vegetable soup. All of the servers are very friendly and attentive. We always try to ask for Cathy. She seems to know what we want or need when you are not feeling up to par. Prices are reasonable and you get your monies worth.
They have a fantastic pasta special! We go there often for breakfast but went for lunch last time and it was so good!

One of my local favorite dives. IHOP isn’t the same and nothing is better than local chain restaurants. People treat you nice and the food is on point. Why eat fast food when you can have a great cooked fresh breakfast here at Double T’s. The Coconut Pancakes are yummy 😋

Clean and well lit. Only 3 stars because of the soup I ordered. French onion was a disappointment. Instead of the traditional slice of bread with melted cheese it was croutons with a glob of cheese that was just kinda thrown in and melted.
I thought this place was way overpriced for the kind of food. The chicken tenders that came with the chicken and waffles were terrible. They were soggy and barely warm. Definitely not worth $12.49. My husband had eggs and corn beef hash (clearly from a can), but he enjoyed it. I could have made the same thing for him at home, probably for less. My son got a hot dog off the kids menu and he didnt be like it. I tried it and it was totally tasteless. Not sure we will return here.
I had chicken and waffles. The waffles was delicious. The chicken was okay. They promised 5 wings, but I was served 8 wingettes. The restaurant where we were sitting did well with sitting 6 feet apart.
The Manhattan Clam Chowder was good. I have not had any in a long time. The fries were nice and hot. But, the turkey burger was preprocessor. I did not enjoy it at all. I forgot that very few places serve homestyle beef burgers, so forget about honestly turkey burgers. The worst about the turkey burger was that it was not the best brand and why do everyone serve them so dry
VERY rude waitress who couldnt seem to keep our coffee refilled. My dining partner ordered eggs Benedict without the meat...and it was delivered deconstructed (poached eggs, English muffin, hollandaise sauce all separate)? Also she didnt know a Greek omelet was supposed to have gyro meat in it, even though she was clearly a seasoned employee. We wont return.

OMG!! The food was so good!. It felt strange sitting in a restaurant after a year but everything was great. They had social distancing and I didnt feel uncomfortable. The crab stuffed shrimp was huge! A lot bigger than I thought. And the chicken noodle soup was perfect. Definitely will be back soon!!!
The cream of crab soup tasted like it was at the bottom of the pot. I shouldve sent it back. The home fries were old and overdone. It was like the cook reheated them. It definitely wasnt worth $50. The salt & pepper shakers were greasy. This place needs an overhaul. After the horrible meal, I made the trip to the ladies room. It was filthy & there was no toilet paper. I dont know what happened to this place but I wont be going back.
We went in today for breakfast and when we went to pay our bill we witnessed something awful and discussing. The lady on the register and late see that she was sitting people to their tables was wearing flip flops….. unacceptable and unprofessional….. never going back…. Gross….
My breakfast was SOOOOOOOO good! Service was great. Glad I came. Had eggs, grits, pancakes, turkey sausage, coffee & O.J./Pineapple. I was full ALL DAY LONG!
Have been a customer of the Double T Chain for more than 20 years!! The service in all of them has been AAA! However, this one have served us well.The employees are so friendly and the food is delicious and wholesome. I moved from the area of this one but I ask my husband to take me there as often as possible. Keep up the great service and please remain open! We have grown with you!! 💘

I’m not usually one to complain about my dining experiences however, the waitress who served us was super rude, I work in food service so I know what’s it’s like and I know it’s hard but no reason to be so rude. It was also some of the worst food me and my partner had had in a long time, it was stale and bland. We found a hair in our food and on top of all that I got food poisoning afterwards. Disappointing to say the least.
Great food, actually too much, so I took it home to finish.
We had the breakfast special one with pancakes one with waffles. Eggs were good (over easy and scrambled) but the rest was cold. As soon as it arrived I put room temperature butter on it and it didnt melt. Service was good but we wont be going back.
Turkey sandwich was good. Server complained about working environment the entire time. Was uncomfortable. Will try a different location. Many menu options to choose from.

The food was fine. Service was scarce, midday on a Thursday and it was actually quite busy. Lights were blinking, bothering my companion, and we asked to move but just got a little chat with a manager and nothing was done.

Dont get a BLT and expect to even taste any bacon. I have a vegetarian version of a BLT in my hand. I prefer even a little meat on a sandwich that has meat in the title. I called (being nice) and the guy said that is our normal standard. Touché, I wont be back. McDonalds, hell, even Taco Bell could do a better BLT then this place. If I could figure out how to put a picture, I would. Lol. Literally 1 inch of lettuce, 3 layers of tomato, burnt bread (its black), and no bacon is visible. There are 3 half strips on it, but it doesnt even make 1 layer on half of the sandwich.

Great retro decor, super clean and outgoing staff. Try the skillet breakfast. Awesome. And yes sadly so I forgot to take pictures but happily this means I need to return to Double T during my next trip to Maryland! Enjoy!

We visit double t diner at least twice weekly. And have been going do for over a year. But today was unacceptable. Place not very busy. We were seated immediately. We ordered Cajun chicken salad, toasted pita, bowl of crab soup with bread. Glass of iced coffee. Butter not provided at time soup brought to table. Also, ordered Turkey burger toasted bun with fried onions, cup of vegetable soup. Very disappointed today. Food at least 20 min. Chicken was cold, flat, breading after chicken sat around was soggy, balsamic dressing tasted like runny Italian dressing. Turkey burger flat and dry with cup of vege soup. I mentioned to Casey how disappointed I was in service and food. Told him I was not paying for salad. Other person complained about Turkey burger and was not going to pay. Manager came over said they weren’t making money off the order we received because we ate soup. Soup was included as a side order with full cost of salad 12.00. Other person was charged for soup and lemonade. How dare the manager talk to us that way. Angela has been rude from day one. Snatching receipt and never friendly. She indicated she’s from New York. Ok….so….what does that mean. How rude. Good customer service would have been to apologize and offer to either reorder same item or choose another selection. She lost two good paying loyal customers.

Dont get the cream of crab. It was pure salt. Couldnt eat my dinner because it made me sick but everyone else enjoyed their dinner.
I had a Reuben, which was open faced, but good. You get a cup of soup and a side as well. Reasonably priced. Surprised drinks have only 1 refill. They close at 9, but started vacuuming at 820 which was annoying.
A wonderful atmosphere to dine in,very clean and safe for everyone.Very nice workers,greatest owner and management.They make you feel welcome each and every time your there.The food is great,we have taken our family and made to feel right at home with a quick food preparation and right on time waitresses.Definitely recommend

Food was horrible..I ordered half and half crab soup, there was no crab meat in it and it was salty and dark, which I believe that extra old bay was added the older the soup was. The sampler platter #1 was a waste..Ill stick to breakfast food there.

Sat for 10 minutes before anyone came .Waitress was nice. We got beef & Reefs beef and crab cakes were good BUT ALL the sides were horrible .Broccli was sitting in what looked like dirty water .Corn tasted like there was a pound of sugar dumped on top. Fries were cold and old .Mashed potatoes were so nasty ! Lady who took checks was nasty and we heard her multiple times talking about customers .Including us because we told them about the sides.When we confronted her asking her what she had to say she denied saying anything Will not be returning to this location.Glenburnie location is the best one Ive been to yet.

Dont ever order a gift card online from them. They will take your money (confirmed it was taken out of my account) and never send you the gift card. I ordered a gift card from them the end of October and to this day have not received it. I have emailed the person in charge of the sending out the gift cards and no response. I have called 5 times and have gotten the run around. One day, I was told to call after 3pm to talk to a manager. The person who came on the phone said he was a manager and took all my information and told me that the card had been mailed and that if I did not receive the card in three more days, to call back. I called back and found out that the person I spoke to was not a manager, but a server. I called and talked to another person who said that she would have the owners daughter call me, but that never happened (great customer service if the owners daughter wont call you back). I called the location where the card was issued, but that person never called. I have been told over and over that the card has been mailed, but they will not give me a date of when it was sent. I am now out $50 and have to go get another gift card from another diner. I wish there was a way to give them 0 stars because 1 is too high!!

Place is very quaint and unique, has an old diner feel to it. Staff is very friendly and nice here. Food was very good, if you like peppers and onions in your home fries be sure to ask for them since they dont come that way. Definitely will come back here when visiting Maryland.

WARNING, AVOID. Will not be returning until after Pandemic. Every table is in use, we were sat less than 1 foot from other guests, employees pull down masks when they think they are out of sights, reusable specials menu are not sanitized. This place is an outbreak waiting to happen.
The food was underwhelming. I had a Greek omelette with egg whites and it had an unpleasant taste. It isnt as clean and shiny as other diners. I wont be back.

Very disappointed. I expected so much more from a Baltimore institution during my first visit. Dont judge what you get by the pics on the menu. It would be like McDonalds putting a picture of filet mignon in place of a McDs hamburger on its menu...theyre both beef, right?? I was excited to get the fries as pictured and promised on the menu; real potatoes with skin, crisp and fresh and hot. In reality, large, flat, pre-formed, mushy frozen fries that werent even fully cooked; the kind when you pick it up it breaks in half because its so soft and heavy. Remember the horrible fries you used to get in the school cafeteria in the 1970s? Completely inedible. Ketchup couldnt mask how bad they were. The burger was round, very round. Like the die-cut frozen kind you buy in boxes at Costco or Walmart. Not at all like the apparently handpressed (and what appeared to be fresh) burger in the photo. I seriously doubt the grill marks or attempt at flame-broil flavor were real; do they have a fire or charcoal grill in the back? I wouldnt be surprised if it was thawed quickly in a microwave then tossed on the grill. Absolutely no taste. I had no idea I was eating beef. The menu brags, 100% Angus beef. But again, Walmart sells cheap 100% Angus beef by the box. The cole slaw was basically shredded cabbage with watery sauce in the bottom of the bowl. I honestly hoped that it would be a redeeming aspect of this meal, but the sauce was so watery that I had to stir it to get sauce to the naked cabbage on top. It was not at all appetizing. My daughters grilled cheese sandwich appeared fine, and she said it tasted good. The pickle was crisp and fresh. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The chicken noodle soup was very good, with big pieces of chicken and a hearty flavor. Lots of noodles, which I think were egg noodles. Again, very good. At $4.50, my slice of chocolate fudge cake was half the size I expected. While it was serviceable, it did not have the oomph of chocolate or fudge that such an attractive dessert case promised. A little chocolate flavoring in an otherwise bland cake batter or icing does not make it a chocolate fudge (mini) cake slice. The four (FOUR!!!!!) big screen TVs in the small dining room and above the counter blasting a soap opera (I didnt know they were still on TV, what year is this?) during our lunchtime meal made it feel like we were eating in front of the giant TV wall at Best Buy. Being forced to watch General Hospital put the exclamation point on this very disappointing -- and final -- experience.

Ordered the cream of crab soup couldnt even eat it, it was so salty and nothing but Old Bay no crab meat it was actually a brown color thats how salty it was.
