The appointment went smooth on the website. I was able to book the appointment without any problems. When I got to the store I had a virtual eye exam. I am not sure it was as through as my in person exam. They used to have a lab in each store where you got your glasses within 24 hours. Now it comes from Texas and it takes about two weeks. They tell you that after you have paid for the glasses. God for bid if you’ve lost your glasses or broke them.
Kathy was very nice, while making the appointment, and helpful while at my appointment. This location is helpful at picking frame selections to fit your face and pleasant when fitting your new glasses.Great location!
I had my eye exam today and the associate Glenn Martin was an excellent service representative.When l came in the door, Kiah was very nice, informative and supportive. I went there for new glasses in December of 2020. I paid over $600 for two pair of glasses. Today 7/10/21 I went back to see if I could get one pair repaired. I was missing one lens that fell out. Some girl with long dark hair reluctantly waited on us and while she was doing kept asking another employee where was so and so? Apparently the other frontDesk person was indisposed on top of that they wanted almost $600 to replace one lens.
My negative experience with this place seems to differ from some of the other reviews Ive read. The staff was fairly friendly, but the doctor was unpleasant and unhelpful enough that I wont be returning. There isnt really a concrete explanation but I tried to ask her a couple questions and explain a few things. The response I received from her was fairly dismissive and not very helpful.My experience here wasnt totally negative, but negative enough I wont be going back and would urge others to consider seeking eye care elsewhere.Edit: After another interaction with the doctor at this office Ive downgraded my rating to one star. Two years ago I had Lasik surgery and my visit here revealed I need glasses again. LasikPlus needs a copy of the exam results to see me again, and the doctor here refused to send those results along and told me to go see an ophthalmologist.The blatant refusal to help a patient with something as simple as this is absolutely unacceptable. As long as the current doctor remains at this location I strongly suggest everyone considering this location to think again.
I just went to the visionworks at white marsh on the avenue...they were wonderful all the way..infomed..knowledgable..polite...answered my questions...price value was very good...and the glasses were ready ahead of time...go to them if you need glasses...I will definitely go backand recommend them.....here is another complement for vision works at the avenue white marsh...just ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses before my fsa account is closed...and again they were wonderful.5 stars....the employees are the greatest...good..good
Great store and location however some staff need to be re-trained or re-educated on good customer service. As a health care provider things do not always go as scheduled or planned. With that being said, I received a prescription for contact lenses today and per protocol you must be able to show that you can put in and take out contact lenses, from what I understand you are usually set up with a time to return to the location for the demonstration but since I was the only one getting contacts at the time and the location was not busy at all the tech asked this dark haired white/hispanic employee (not sure of her name or title) to teach me the proper way to put in and take out lenses.This employee was very unprofessional, rude and irritated at the fact that I was not scheduled for the contact lense class that day. She was not helpful at all, she was very short with me and overall just very unprofessional as she sat there texting on her phone as I struggled with the contacts. A complaint was made to the manager before I left hopefully no one else will have to experience such unprofessional treatment.
I went a couple times, they seem like they overbook appointments. I was getting contacts for my first time, after the exam they gave me a mirror and let me be to figure it out on my own. After alot of struggling I finally got them in, but unfortunately tore one. They told me to remove them, and once again left me alone with no help. My eyes were killing me from trying to put in and remove contacts with no help at all. The time I went for glasses I felt like I was being pressured into buying every upgrade they have for lenses. I will never go back and strongly advise people to go elsewhere if you want to feel like you are actually cared about as a customer.
The absolute worst customer service I have ever seen! My insurance changed and I have now decided to take my business elsewhere. I wish I had done it sooner. Every single time I go there the young females are so disrespectful. I came in today for my scheduled eye exam. I had and appointment at 6 and was very much on time. I was speaking to a nice gentleman working at the front desk. He asked if I filled out paperwork prior to coming. I said nobody told us that we needed to fill out info online prior Mind you, It was done in person prior to covid but no one informed us of the change. As Im communicating with the gentleman, this nasty young dark haired White/Hispanic lady yelled from across the room, while she was with another client, that if I didnt do the paperwork I need to reschedule my appointment. The doctor came out and said, to the gentleman lab tech I was speaking to, it was fine since she had plenty of time. She would ask me the question before the exam....no big deal. Mind you, it took less than a minute to answer the questions about my health and history. So I get my eye exam done and I was told to wait up front by the doctor. She was absolutely polite and respectful. I go up front to wait and that same nasty lady walks by me and whispers to the other young white girl. This other girl, who was also rude to customers while I was waiting said, I cant hear you. So the rude white/Hispanic woman said loudly something along the lines, He needs to stop saying yes yes yes to all the customers, there is procedures in place for a damn reason. She was referring to the gentleman and doctor allowing me to have an eye exam.Meanwhile, Im paying for my eye exam and customers are walking in to pick up glasses and these two women are so rude and nasty to all the customers. They have such a nasty attitude about working and doing there job. Its a shame that they hire people like this when there are people who would love to have a job during these hard times. Every single customer seemed to be an inconvenience to them.Every single time I go there...there is an issue. They lost my sons glasses 5 times. Im not exaggerating either! They where already paid for too. I waited months and months because every time I went to pick them up, they were never there. They lost our contacts multiple times. They always have attitudes just about having to do their jobs. The men that work there are polite and I have never had an issue, but those young females need to have better work ethic and customer service or they just need to lose their jobs! None of them have name tags, which is why Im using race to describe them. I will be getting their names asap though. Visionworks I hope you know that your horrible employees are causing you to lose customers!! I have heard multiple people with the same experiences with these employees and others that work there!
I made an appointment to choose frames. It took over an hour because they were clearly understaffed. The person who helped me was super nice but she worked at another store. She took my order but could not process my insurance and said they’d process tomorrow and someone would call me for my payment. No one called, so I called the store. The person who answered said they couldn’t find my order and couldn’t get ahold of the person who took it. Her solution was that I “make another appointment and redo it”. No apologies, just that it’s not her fault she can’t get in touch with the person from the other store. I called the other store and was able to speak with the other employee within minutes. They were supposed to straighten this out and call me back. This was 2 days ago. Looks like no one is calling me back with my order.
Tried having me put a mask on a 1 year old baby. When legally a mask isn’t supposed to be put in a child under 2! It suffocates them

I made an appointment for an eye exam on a Saturday at 9:20am weeks in advance online. I sent them my insurance info and I was repeatedly sent texts to confirm my appointment date and time. I came in for my appointment at the exactly 9:20. I sat there for 40 minutes watching people with appointments after mine continue to get serviced before me so I ask the front desk when I will be seen at which point she tells me the person doing the telehealth eye exams isn’t coming in until 10. I had been waiting for 40 minutes so it was 10 when she told me that. She then says she needs to ask her manager what to do. I have to approach her again and she tells me that she needs to reschedule my appointment ... the one I had already been waiting 40 minutes for. I will not be going back to this location. I felt bad for the front desk workers (one clearly was not from this store) and the management seemed apathetic. A very poor job by management. I will not be going back.
After I waited eight minutes till the lady finished her works with someone and she got the person who was after me but it’s my turn !!! WHY?
Phones are always backed up, staff is rude. My insurance told me it was time for an eye exam and the doctor asked why I was there and told me I didn’t need to be seen. My prescription had coincidentally changed. After waiting 6 weeks for my lenses a contact broke in my eye and I was told to call and pay someone else to get it removed. I was a long time client to this place and I’m never going back.

This store has terrible customer service practices. Vision works might consider hiring different staff and management that is adequately trained in customer service. Eventually your store will close if something is not done about your employees. Look at so many terrible reviews.
When I came for my original eye exam, I had a scheduled appointment. They called me and told me to come in early. I was there over 3 hours. They forgot me, apologized, took other people before me, kept moving me around. I watched staff come and go.. Now I am here to pick up my glasses and I am sitting waiting again.
If I could rate a 0/5 I would! Absolutely disappointed in this place! Because I am a covid nurse who wears proper PPE, I was denied service on arrival. Once they found out everyone quickly tried to get me out of the door and told me to wait outside for a number! The number was to Katzen eye group a completely different organization to be seen. I called the Rosedale location for confirmation that it’s the “policy” that ANYONE in contact with covid cannot be seen. I was told by the Rosedale location that it is the provider decision to see people who work with covid patients. However, their provider will take me! So not only was a I denied service based on what I do for a living BUT they are giving business to a whole different company instead of referring people to another vision works location.
I had the absolute best visit... Dr. Levy was so professional and thorough and DJ helped me tremendously with my eyeglass choice. I felt so comfortable, it was like talking to an old friend, although he was young and spry.. He was so honest. I was trying to add stuff. He was like, you don’t need that!! AWESOME
My eye appointment was for 1:20 PM on Saturday January 30th, 2020! I made the appointment on their web site two weeks ago and answered all questions honestly. In those forms there was a question about coughing. I indicated that I did have a cough! I received a called at the beginning of the week for insurance information. At that time, I did indicate that I had a cough since August of 2018! I arrived at the White March, Maryland location at about 1:10 PM. At that time, I was told that the doctor was not seeing anyone who had a cough!This letter is not only a complaint but a formal billing for canceling the appointment without a twenty-four-hour notice. Please make the check payable to David C Roy. There will be a 10% surcharge if the bill is not paid within thirty days and 20% thereafter. If there is no attempt to rectify this issue I will be taking your organization to small claims court and your organization will have to not only pay for the waist of my time but all court fees as well.I am sixty-four years old. I have been hospitalized three times in 2020 for heart issues. Twice for a cardio conversion and once for an angioplasty. I saw an internist two weeks ago, as second one on Tuesday January 26th and a cardiologist this past Thursday! If I had covid I would have been sent to the hospital emergency room instead of the doctor’s office! I would never have showed up at their door because I would have been in the HOSPITAL!Yes, it is good to be cautious but the office had two weeks to investigate why I indicated that I did have a cough. This last-minute cancelation was a waist of my time and as such I am demanding to be compensated.David C Roy
I came in to purchases glasses with my new prescription. I have been back 5 times for adjustments. Today I went in and the person that waited on us told us our glasses are to small. I am not happy with them and we should have been told that before we purchased them. Just purchased these glasses few weeks ago and very dissatisfied with them. The glasses are to small and they leave big indents on both sides of my face. I hope to hear back from Management in regards to this matter. Glasses were purchased at White Marsh Location. The professional should have told us that. I ask if they would be to small and she told us no they were perfect. Today we find out our glasses are to small. Hope to hear from the store soon.
I got treated like dirt. The OD sent me out of the exam room. Did not say why,one of the techs came out and asked if I knew why. I said no. Well she sent me out of the room because I’m a Respiratory Therapist! She assumed I had been working w Covid patients. I had anserwed their screening questions no I had not been around Covid patients. Long story short I finally got my exam. Worse exam ever my new glasses are weaker than my older lenses. If you work in healthcare NEVER go there. I’m tempted to report her to the licensing board. I waited over a month before writing this review trying to cool down. The rest of the staff was lovely!
The staff was professional and efficient. The glasses arrived and the staff greeting was immediate. Though the doors just opened on a cold, windy day the greeting was warm and welcoming. The attentive staff convinced me that Visionworks at White Marsh is the place to go for quality and style in eye wear. The price for two pairs of stylish glasses is as advertised - happiness abounds! I was serviced 1st week of May for eyeglasses and contact lens.. I was given the spectacle prescription and was told that I needed to wait for the trial contact lenses before they give the contact lens prescription. Ive been patiently waiting. Its gonna be TWO months soon and I still have not heard anything from this store. I called many times and no one picks up. Im trying hard to be patient because I know everyone is having a hard time because of this pandemic but cmon!! 2months for a prescription?? Really?? And no one answers the phone??
DJ was amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful with helping me pick out my glasses. He took to the time to explain the difference in price per frame and insurance coverage. He even gave me his honest opinion on what frame was the best.Thank you for great customer service!
Very poor customer service. I was only pleased with the Dr, he was polite and informative. Lens and Frames are unbelievably expensive plus they work off of commission based sales. Very disappointed

I just experienced unacceptable and lack luster customer service at store #445 in White Marsh. I came in for my 4:00pm appointment to pick up my glasses that were ordered in the same store on 6/20/2020. I was told by the Visionworks associate that my glasses did not arrive and that they were marked as shipped ok 07/04/2020 and that I should come back tomorrow. I explained that I had rearranged my entire day to make this appointment today and that I would like for one of his colleagues to call me when they arrive so that I do not waste anymore time traveling to the store in the middle of a high-alert shut down. He told me that I should waited to come in when I received a text. I explained that I received an email confirmation and two text confirmations for the appointment. He told me that I should receive a text that says that my glasses have arrived. How was I supposed to know this? I asked what if they do not arrive tomorrow since he is unable to track them, and he said that I should call the store to ask. What? First, no one answers the phone in this store. I have called four times since the pandemic, and no one answers. Additionally when I had my eye exam on 6/20, the phone never rang once. I don’t think it rings in the store. I get that folks are stressed and social distancing makes business and sales tougher. However, strong customer service is still appropriate. No acknowledgment of my time, no accountability for their lack of communication or not having the product on hand when promised. Not even an apology. This is ridiculous, and I will not be spending any more money in this establishment with this kind of service.
The telephone prompts are the worst. I pushed the option to speak to a sales associate, only to be given other irrelevant options. They are basically forcing you to use the website which they continuously encourage you to use. However I have a specific question about my insurance that is not explained online. I hung up and will try another company. I am not waiting on hold for 10 + minutes for an eye exam. I’m sorry.
Ms. Katherine and Ms. Amber are the best. They make sure we get everything we need and work so diligently. I recommend them to all. Don’t ever leave your truly be missed at this location!
What an amazing place for all your eyewear needs! Everyone is knowledgeable and professional and will go out of their way to help you. The doctor took her time answering my questions and recommended I get the retina imaging done that day, to look for any possible health issues. Best place ever!
Hi potential client-customer.I can only leave a review based on my experience. We were only helped by the gentlemen who later redirected us to the front counter. Although they were assisting the only two customers there-we were only two people in that place (that had enough staff to help us)yet we were left patiently waiting for someone to assist us. Never did we get any help. We waited over 30 minutes as two other customers walked in were assisted before us. We let the first one, go, but after the second one, it was just not worth it. I never go out of my way to write a negative review, but I believe this time I only do it so that others are aware of might come. Feel free to go in here and try it, although just based on the other negative reviews, I gave this place the benefit of a doubt and it was only expected. May you find the perfect pair of glasses with great service, reader! 👍😎
Never had so many problems ordering contact lenses. I was examined and came back a few weeks later to tell them the one eye was wrong. They re-examined me and gave me the exact same prescription from the first time. Its now been over a month and still no contact lenses. I dont know what kind of circus they are running there, but way understaffed. I am now waiting for a refund, from Vision Works. I have had contacts over 20 years, never had this type of horrible service. In the meantime I went to another optometrist and have already started wearing my new contacts. 2 months with Vision Works and nobody has a clue where my contacts are. Never again............
Poor service. Expensive. Difficult to contact store for order follow-up. You are very lucky if someone answers you, then they will promise to call you back but will never do. You can try or Find somewhere else.
The whole experience was great and quick. DJ was the most helpful. He took his time explaining all of the benefits of different features and walked us through the costs.
The phone line is busy and NO ONE will return my phone call.The Vision works customer service dept. sent this location an email since they were unable to reach someone as well.
Dont feel I had a good exam. I was in the chair maybe 10 minutes. Only showed a couple row of letters. Not a good choice of what was better.

(Which was the best part.) He was so friendly, charismatic & knowledgeable, and I’ll be a loyal VisionWorks in the Avenue customer forever because of him.

It was a sad day realizing i needed to get vision checked. I was able to make a same day appointment online. As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed. The front reception was warm, Dr Levy was very personable and informative. Pryncess assisted me with picking out frames which I dreaded. With her style, I knew I was in good hands! She picked frames that matched my diva personality and I’m excited to get my frames. Thank you all for making this a pleasant experience.

Amazing experience! Had to call around to find someone that could use the frames I have but for me to still keep the glasses because I do not have a back up pair and this was the first place I found. I spoke with Rebecca and she was super nice and personable and Tiffany helped me and she was also super nice and personable and really just a great atmosphere and thoroughly appreciate them 10/10 would recommend.
You will get better service and a more knowledgeable staff at different locations like on Route 40, probably any location actually.This location is truely a joke. Staff INCLUDING optometrist is completely ruled by sales. Dont waste your money at this location.I am late in reviewing this location because I visited another location and saw what poor treatment I received from The White Marsh Avenue location.

I stopped in on July 17th looking to get frames for my brothers broken glasses since he is in the hospital and couldnt do it himself. Everyone was helpful, and sympathetic, and Mike even delayed his lunch hour to swap the old lenses to new frames so I could get them to my brother. Thank you all for helping me out.

I actually was a customer of Americas Best Contacts & Eye Glasses and left them to come to Vision works @ White Marsh. Where I have been for about 6/7 years now. I love it. Ive never had any problems that made me concerned or alarmed in any way. The staff is always nice, polite and more importantly professional. I also had the pleasure of meeting the General manager Ms. Jena Johnson, whom is phenomenal, and I see why the staff was always on point, GREAT LEADERSHIP!!. I am TRULY one happy & Satisfied customer!!! GLAD I LEFT AMERICAS BEST RIP OFF!!VISON WORKS ROCK!!!

I come here to get new eye exam because my old exam was not working.i seen Dr Nguyen .she good doctor. I didnt know my insurance would cover exam but Amber looked it up and I got free exam and a very very good discount on my glasses I was able to get 2pairs with my insurance.she helped me find glasses that fit me perfect.i give 5 stars.i will return with my whole family.

Everyone was so friendly and down to earth. I really liked my experience and I didnt have to wait a long time to be seen and someone was always asking if you needed any help or questions. I had a much better experience with them than the one out Golden Ring. Everyone worked together to make sure you were satisfied.
Great place for a basic exam ($45). However the lenses for single vision are over $300. If yo shop around to one of the club/warehoses the same lense can be purchased for $88. department stores often do buy one, get one.The optometrist was pleasant to work with.
Have had my families and my eyes checked here 2 times with frames. Dont like that we have to wait a couple of weeks to get our glasses. They accept my insurance though.Went back today to get my husbands frames replaced because they broke. Lenses are fine and had them with us. They refused to sell us just frames. Even though they have a half off all frames deal. The deal doesnt require you to purchase new lenses. I read the fine print. Frustrated went to the mall to try 3 other places. They didnt carry this brand of frames. Googled another VW. Called the one off Pulaski and they were nice, looked for the frames, confirmed they had them in stock and would be expecting us and will place the lenses in for him. Complete relief and opposite experience at that location plus only paid half price. I will not be going back to the White Marsh location.
This store is busy some days and some days its not but be patient the staff is always very knowledgeable and very helpful. Everytime I come here I always get wonderful service its not just a place to get sold glasses the people here help you find what style fits your needs what look your going for and if you give them a budget they will do everything to meet those out of pocket needs. my top go too associates are Amber, Kathy, Tiffany...and Mike and Rebecca were great in helping me get my glasses adjusted..I will always recommend coming to this location .. ;-)

Ive been coming to the White Marsh location for years to get my glasses Miss Amber and the staff at this location are always helpful and wonderful. They are always very eager to help me with my new style. It is hard to find great customer service. Thank you for being who you all are.
So I came to this store on three different occasions. The first time was to make an appointment. Can not really say much about this time. The lady at the front desk was not really friendly. It was late in the day and almost time for closing so I didnt really think too much of it. The second time I came was for my eye exam, which was on a Saturday. The doctor Levy was not very friendly. I was told that I had an astigmatism with very little information after that. I was not told what to do as to help with this. I did get glasses that day with actually no information pertaining to how they will help my vision and when I should wear the glasses. I came in the next day with my fiance for his own eye exam. After seeing how doctor Paul Hsiao did my fiances eye exam, I grew concerned about my previous visit from the day before. I decided to ask the doctor and he was able to look up my information and tell me exactly what I had and how my right and left eye had different astigmatisms. I was also told that I had to wear my glasses at all times. I was not given this information the day before at my own appointment. My fiance was also given a hard copy of his prescription. I also did not get this the day before. I felt as if the patient treatment and giving of information was inconsistent. I preferred the visit with my fiance, the environment seemed friendlier and the doctor was extremely nice and helpful. If what I experienced on Sunday was my initial experience, I would have given a 5 star rating.
Ive only been here once, but I did not have the miserable experience that other people seem to have had. I did have to wait a bit despite having made an appointment, but Id made the appointment the same day. They got me in and were perfectly courteous. If youre in a pinch and dont have an eye doctor, its a decent solution.
Cant even contact the store or general line about a question for my appointment... Was on hold 3 times for 10-25 mins each time...
My wife and I went there to replace her glasses that were scratched over the weekend. The receptionist was beyond helpful and understanding. She got my wife in with an appointment with the eye doctor on Memorial day. We were greeted politely by the staff. The wife had a prescription within half an hour and new glasses ordered shortly there after. Based on how friendly and helpful the staff were at this location, we will definitely be back for all our eye needs.
My experience with Visionwork in White Marsh recently was pleasant. When you enter the building staff immediately welcomes you and ask if any assistance is needed. I’ve been with Visionworks for over 15 years and always had a great experience !
Went here using the $19 exam coupon and was pleased with the process. Only issue i had were the staff was not cleaning the equipment after each use. I saw so much makeup on the headrest I couldnt believe management allow this kind of neglect.😤😤😷😷😷

People are who make ANY business. In my opinion, this Visionworks store is Amber (right side), Rebecca &Tiffany. They are what makes the White Marsh store tops. Its one thing that I feel the sale was great, but these ladies blew me away with customer care. Sometimes something going wonky is the best opportunity to make a customer long-term... its all in how we connect in the solving. And, it was a 50/50 non-huge thing that did have a built-in resolution (way to go Visionworks satisfaction policy). That policy could be as fantastic as it is, but without personalities who care and have personality and willingness like Amber, Rebecca and Tiffany, their talents at their work plus customer care - well, ya need that or y-aint got nuthin. I have been going there for serial years and have had great service. The assistant manager Pryncess Loving knows HER eye wear she has a gift. I have brought people there for her to work her magic to find the right glasses for them and she hasnt failed me yet.Thank you Visionworks!
Please DO NOT go to this place!! They stole 700.00 from my 70 years old mom. She bought two pair of glasses and could not see at all. A different dr. gave her a new prescription and it was worse!!! This has been going on for almost a year. They tell you what you want to hear. My mom went to Boscovs and the script was totally different from prior 2 and she could see perfect. We were told her the check was in the mail so many times and then was told the employee that helped her was fired. Dont ever go to Cathy either. She was in on it.We were told we would be escorted from the store if we came back. .Stay far away. Walmart and Boscovs are so much better!!

I must say after reading the other reviews, I thought OMG....But I’m happy to say I went in a week ago was greated. I chose my 2 frames with some assistance from the associate. I ordered my glasses, and what I needed on the lenses. I paid 1/2 cash . Then called back later with a CC to complete my payment. The associate helping order my frames even called me on my cell at home to make sure I was helped with calling in my CC.. As I was she had informed the staff I would be caking back. Everyone was polite and courteous and professional. I had my script faxed over from another office so I didn’t need an eye exam. The day I picked my glasses up a week later, they greeted me right away and seated me at a table. The associate was pleasant and professional. My glasses were correct and they fit fine. So I’m thinking they no longer have the same staff. I was pleased and will be bringing my daughter back for her glasses...
Walked in frustrated that my daughter glasses were broken.. The staff was very professional, explain to me my options and acted on it in a timely manner. Was able to get a replacement pair without fail.. Thanks so much to Gina and Mike for defusing my anxiety and frustration over the broken glasses.. will definitely recommend this location to all my family and friends
I bought two pair of glasses 10 months ago expensive frames andlenses Over $600.00 for both pair, was cleaning my glasses with theCAT logo frames and they just fell apart. Went in to the store andthe best they will do is offer 25% discount on new frames. Pretty lowquality stuff. I have purchased several pair of glasses there andalways got the lenses with the protective coating and they scratch upwith in months just cleaning with a microfiber towel and lenscleaner. Think it is time to take my business elsewhere.Also I was under the impression that they had a year guarantee and come to find out it had to be purchase on top of the hundreds I already shelled out.Update, since i originally posted this and sent a carbon copy email to vision works corporate they have replace my frame for the cost it would have been had I purchased the insurance. $20.00.
I will not return. Waited over an hour past my appointment to be seen. Neither the doctor or anyone on the staff apologized for the inconvenience. When I attempted to call them back to place an order for my contacts, they were very rude on the phone. Told me they didnt have time to check for me about the order and would call me back the same day. No one called me back. 1800contacts is getting my lens business. Stay far away from this place.
My experience did not start off to well as staff was having problems with my insurance, However the staff of Tiffany, Tunisha, and Amber did an excellent job of working everything out and as a team as I walked away with an excellent customer experience. I would recommend Visionworks on The Ave to Any and All. Great job ladies
Ive been having issues recieving my contacts since May. Its now August.I visited vision works location at honey go Blvd in Baltimore Maryland May 22nd. I received a eye appointment and followed all the protocol. I ordered a pair of glasses and contacts.Since then I recieved my pair of glasses. However, my contacts have been a challenging issues.First, they tried to sell me colored contacts that I knew wasnt mine. I did not order colored contacts. They gently apologized and told me that my contacts were unavailable. At this time I recieved my glasses but not contacts. I was understand and didnt see it to be a issue.My first incident happened sometime in-between now and may. I went into the store and they told me that they ordered the wrong contact perscription. They gave me a trial pair and bumped the prescription in my left eye down. It wasnt a noticeable difference so I was ok with this.My second incident happened the same way. They ordered the wrong perscription again. They apologized and gave me another trial. I was bothered because at this point I just wanted to have the contacts I ordered. But, I tried to be understanding and even laughed.I am currently wearing the new trials and I can physically see a difference that makes it hard to see clearly. Im also fearful that they will order the wrong contacts again and have them sent directly to me.Today they tried to sell me the wrong contacts and denied me a refund until I spoke to corporate. Im very disappointed and unsatisfied with this level of customer service.
Should not of had high expectations due to the fact they have horrific google ratings. But I first hand experienced terrible customer service, inaccurate appointment times/long wait times, and an inaccurate prescription. Don’t waste your time/money.
So I had to call this location several times to ask a question and I got all different answers. The front staff is particularly nice but the Asian Female Eye Doctor here is so rude and snobbish after I did my eye exam I ask her to explain certain things to me she just ignored me and was like I have important patients ahead of you. Really so am not important. The front staff people are nice but this racist nasty attitude woman is a part of the problem at this location.
Agree with others. Been getting contacts for $40 yrs and this is the worst experience. Firstly, I was mis quoted by $80 on the cost of my eye exam. You wait 45 minutes each time even for a contact lens for check. The doctors are not trained properly to enter information correctly. This occurred twice. For 3 appointments in a row I received call backs to correct dates times and issues. I will not return or bring the rest of my family. Heed the reviews dont make my mistake

I have been going to Vision works over several years, and each time I am welcomed with friendliness, accommodation, and laughter from every employee of the store, especially from the Assistant Manager- Pryncess and the Manager- Gina. They make you feel like family. I would recommend Visionworks in Whiteman she to everyone.
The only good thing about this place is the doctor, which he seems to care. Other than that the service here is horrible! For example I called in with a question and instead of kindly saying they couldnt help the lady rudely interrupted me and said they cant do it, I said O, okay and then she hung up. She actually HUNG UP on me! I was so upset I wanted to call back and question why but it wont do any good. Another thing, wait times are over an hour, at least thats what Ive experienced the last four times Ive been here, again I only continued coming b/c I like the doctor. Its unfortunate but I hope to never go back for anything again. I am a paying customer and I should not have to be treated poorly. There are many other options out there. I feel bad for the doctor that the staff there prevents customers from returning.
Id have to agree with most. The customer service here, or should I say the lack of, is abhorrent. I did like my doctor. I only paid $19 for an eye exam. It is true you only get what you pay for.
The service was the worst Ive ever experienced. the receptionist was on personal calls the entire time I was there, both times. the Doctor would not listen to anything I had to say about my contacts. When I picked up the contacts I was shown to the area to put them in and then asked to make an appointment to come back in a week to see how I did with them. No kit, no other opportunity to ask questions. As I expected they do not provide me the vision Im looking for because the doctor would not listen. I will not be going back for any future contacts or glasses.

Showed up for my appointment and was greeted by a few lovely ladies at the front desk. After some brief paperwork I was seen by the doctor and never had to wait. And it was Saturday. Afterwards I had the pleasure of being helped by Pryncess. She is FABULOUS! I had to find three frames and didnt know where to start. She found them all for me with just a few questions. We sat down to order lenses and she explained everything in detail to me including my cost. I never felt rushed and understood exactly what I was ordering. Working in a customer environment myself, I truly appreciate and recognize great service! I will definitely be coming back! Thank you for the pleasant experience Pryncess. It was wonderful to meet you.
You may as well poke yourself in the eye, it would be less painful. This place cant even figure out that you need a left lens and a right lens to see. Been there 4 times and have had completely different prescriptions each time - not small changes but completely different lenses. The staff use so many excuses its ridiculous, its their software, the doctor didnt leave notes, they dont have paper files, the person who order the lenses did it wrong, isnt in, etc. You explain what went on and they look at you with blank stares because you tell them exactly what happened and what the lenses are supposed to be. Even when they do get a doctor out to look at it, he explains it, I can understand but the clerk still looks at him now blankly. Its like going into a circus. How dare they call themselves eye PROFESSIONALS.
My wife has wore contacts for years, and I wanted her to give her eyes a rest so took her to this location and Pryncess was SUCH a blessing. You can tells she loves what she does and was very patient with us. She showed my wife many styles and brands and a variety of shapes until she found frames she loved. That was last year, we recently we in the store and purchased 2 pairs of glasses with the awesome bogo sale they had. This location is a Must visit. Thanks for the amazing customer service Pryncess-you rock!!!
I stopped going due to poor service but decided to give them another chance in December 2018. It was okay service. In early March, I fell and broke my glasses. I just brought the glasses in expecting they would take them and call me when they are fixed. Receptionist, I believe that is her title, had me sit and wait at a table. Saying it wont be long. Wasnt sure why I was sitting as the lens is cracked. 15 minutes later I left. I decided to return a moment later and just make an appt. Same lady, asked what the appt was for. I said I was the one sitting there. No apologies, no questions, i may just try Towson...clearly customer service is not an expectation. So disappointed.
Team went above and beyond to help me find a discontinued pair of frames. Exceptional.
My daughter and I walked into Lens Crafters not quite sure whether or not we would be getting glasses this day. But everything went great! No long wait, prompt eye exam and great customer service from Pryncess! She made our purchse fun but informative and worked with us for the best plan.
