Beautiful display of French inspired pastries. They didnt taste like any pastry Ive eaten in Paris though. However, they put their own unique spin to things that make them unique. Make sure to come with ample time to deciding what youll get. You can even watch them hand make everything - both inside the store and outside at the next window. I ended up getting the Mango Habanero Cheesecake. The flavor was unique but not for me. Excited to try another dessert though.
I’ve lived in fells point for years and was so excited to try this place. Always caught my eye driving by. The pastries were incredible, no doubt there, but the experience was so disappointing. The workers were abrasive and short, not only to us but to a couple who had a hard time speaking English. My boyfriend described sitting inside as “weirdly uncomfortable”. Keep up the great work with the pastries and learn how to make your patrons feel welcome!
My favorite treat in the city! After a honeymoon in France, I had been trying to find a “perfect croissant” in Baltimore. When Sacré Sucré opened, I had found THE ONE. everything here is amazingly delicious, from the kouign-amann to the limited edition Valentines cake. It is a delight to stroll in and see what’s in store.
Love this neighborhood patisserie. Anything I tried there is amazing. Salted caramel marshmallows are so good! Great service and its a spotless place.
Love this place. It is always immaculate, the pastries make me wish I had five stomachs and the almond croissant (a special creation of Sacre Sucre) puts any competitor to shame.
Very disappointed. The cakes are stunning but flavor was terrible. The matcha cake flavor was so strongly of green tea that it was unpleasant. The fig eclair similarly was too strong. Both also lacked sweetness. The pumpkin monkey bread was good so id be interested in trying the croissants. But I can’t get over how disappointing the cakes were.
We have been to Sacre Sucre twice and tried good amount of the pastries.Croissant is very buttery and have a great texture.Pain au Chocolat is my husband’s favorite.Kouign-Amann was too sugary.New almond pastry was too sweet.Rose dIspahan was on the sweet side and pricy at $12. It had layers of raspberry, lychee and rose cream.Vanilla & Hazelnut Millefeuille was good but the layers of puff pastry were not crisp.Matcha tart 100% was good but a little light on the matcha for me.Opera Cake was nice and chocolate-y.UpdatePlain croissant was very buttery and delicious. I finally had a bite of the chocolate croissant. It was good. I just wish the chocolate was darker. The holiday croissant was very good and visually looked great. It had a spiced cream in the middle. The dessert rose was a bit sweet but I enjoyed the apple compote underneath the beautiful apple.UpdateValentines Danish was to die for. Next year I have to get more. The apple pastry was good.UpdatePineapple dessert was pretty good but a bit small for $12. Enjoyed the plain and chocolate croissant. A little different since they use different kind of butter. Also enjoyed the chocolate eclair.
Saw this in a Best of Baltimore issue and they didn’t tell no lies! The desert I had was the best I’ve ever had in my life. The flavors were complex, layered and I’m still thinking about them. I had the chocolate mousse with caramel coating with cilantro pineapple topping. Sounds so weird but it was transcendent. My guy had a caramel brownie that rocked his world and my cappuccino was the perfect match, worth the money and the late night jitters.
Incredible macarons. I never knew they could be this delicious.
Great place to satisfy a sweet tooth craving. All great, but a surprise winner was the Earl Grey macaroon. It was the best tasting Earl Grey thing Ive ever had, including any Earl Grey tea.
Love the artisan desserts and creativity at this bakery. Stopped by recently and ordered everything from the calabaze tart, dark chocolate marshmallow, dark chocolate/ earl grey tea macarons and the matcha Americano. Everything was delicious. I literally looked at my tart for 5 minutes. It was so aseptically pleasing I didnt even want to eat it. The textures were amazing the I loved the pumpkin filling. This is a great place to stop by and try some delicious desserts. Ill definitely be back to try their other matcha desserts and other baked goods.
Super cute decor. We had the yuzu eclair because the staff said it was a favorite and a kouignammn (omg I’m sure I butchered that spelling sorry). The yuzu eclair has incredible citrusy (reminds me of passion fruit with zing) intense flavor, beautiful presentation and it’s a good size to actually fit in your mouth. Crispy bits on top give it a pop of texture. Excellent craftsmanship. The Kouignaman was also textured very well tho I would prefer some fragrance like rose or cardamom or orange peel to really make the flavor sing but it has excellent buttery pastry and too notch caramelization.
Very nice place. Lots of seating. Very crisp and clean. Hot chocolate is made with dark chocolate and comes with a huge marble marsh mellow. So yummy. The flan was AMAZING. Chocolate macaroon was tasty. Staff was really nice. You can sit and watch the bakers making the treats, which is pretty cool. I will definitely visit again.
The best pastries in Baltimore by a mile, and delicious coffee too!
What makes this place so exceptional? Perhaps its the delicate detail and design given to each confectionary delight. Maybe its the magical trance one finds themselves in whilst marveling at the meticulous display of macaroons. It could be credited to the aroma of craft coffee and eccentric blends of tea pairings that were selected with the utmost care. While all these things certainly are exceptional on their own, to me, they arent the main attraction. The main attraction, in my humble opinion, is the people behind the magic. The creativity, the care, and the kindness. In a world of chaos, one can find comfort in the smiles and friendliness from all the staff at Sacre Sucre, for a truly exceptional experience every visit. Thank you to the wonderful staff for being so lovely, and for of course, the chocolate croissants.
We were in Baltimore yesterday for a quick trip before we left, we noticed their tent display. We bought some macaroons and rose chai latte. The macaroons were sooooo delicious, tasted fresh made. The rose chai latte was also great! Well definitely go back!
Great place! Beautiful cakes and pastries and my favorite macarons in the area! They are also the one place I have been that does tea right. They dont using boiling hot water to make gross and bitter tea. Even their matcha is done well!
The staff were sweet and helpful. only a few people allowed in the store at a time and good distancing protocols. cant wait to come back!
The presentation of the pastries is nearly flawless, but with items like miniature tarts selling for $12 each, I expected to be blown away by flavor too. I was a little disappointed to find the tart held together by flavorless gelatin and no particular tart flavor element that stood out from the others. I had the same experience with the chocolate croissant. I believe the croissant was so thick that they had to bake it a long time to fully bake the middle of it. The result was an outer layer in which all the butter was melted out, leaving a bland crust.
Decent place in fells point
The macarons I tasted were disgusting, they had a burnt flavor all of them tasted the same burnt even the brownies nasty. Very disappointed I treated myself and got trash.
Such a delicious and cool pastry shop! Moved away from the neighborhood but I miss coming in and trying new things. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. Makes great birthday and thank you gifts since they are so beautiful and made with care.
World class. Truly. I would put this spot up against any pastry/dessert shop in the world!
Great food to artistry unique food/snack items that are full of creativity... Complex tea combinations are astounding very contemporary and on there own level... If I had to discribe them in a few short words I would say... discrete, distinct, divergent👍👍👍💯
Undoubtedly one of the best patisseries in a city with several good dessert shops.Just check the hours before going because they are not open every day!
....Their Macaroons are the best I ever tasted.I will definitely go back.
Everything we got tasted wonderful and was fresh! The price for the quality of pastries/macarons is reasonable. Will be goin back again!
I always visit this place when Im in Baltimore and have the chance. Innovative patisserie with lots of delicious creations. They run out sometimes though, so be prepared! Really enjoyed their cannele today. Glad this place exists!
Best bakery in town!
Sacré Sucré simply makes delicious pastries. I am very impressed with the beauty and quality of their pastries. Their macaroons are the best I have tasted (compared to macaroons I have eaten from bakeries in cities all over America). The flavors of the macaroons really came through clearly, without being overpowering or too sweet; the flavor selection was broad with a combination of unique flavors and classics. They also do outstanding croissants, that are perfectly crisp and flakey on the outside with a soft, rich inside. I definitely will be recommending this bakery to all of my friends/family/colleagues, especially those who love great baked goods.
Beautiful offerings. If the customer service were not so awkward this would be 5 stars. Nonetheless, do not miss this place best macaroons ever. Try not to be offended by the awkward customer service its well worth putting up with for the deliciousness.
Finally find a decent canelé!! Crunchy, carmelized exterior with a spongy yet custardy interior! Ive been chasing the high of my last good canelé since 2017, and I finally got it after years of disappointing canelés that were either overbaked and had dry centers (gross) or improperly stored/less fresh ones that were just soft all around (even grosser). Thank you!!!
They maybe got good cakes in store. But beware when you inquire about wedding cakes, they’ll say yes at first, show you some pictures, and ghost on you for weeks till you reach out to them for the third time, and then say they’re not doing it anymore, citing time pressure. Like WOW, we didn’t know you have such an incredibly big and busy pastry shop; you sure you guys aren’t doing neurosurgery AND stock trading as side jobs?
Always deliciously superb! A true gem in the Fells Point neighborhood.
The macaroons are to die for!!!!! Life changing.
I love the macaroons here. So delicious 😍Ambience is great too, and best of all you can see the chefs cooking in the kitchen behind. Will definitely be going back to try more flavors
Finally got a chance to stop in! BEAUTIFUL desserts, and a great coffee program as well. Definitely going to visit again on my cheat days 😆
Great little French pastry spot. Lots of selections of macaroons and mini cakes. The tea selection is incredible. The owners/pastry chefs are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to everyone. The only downside is no coffee.
I was riding pass and seen them open, didn’t even pull over to get them just blocked traffic lol...The best Macaron’s I’ve ever tasted
The Macaroons are amazing! Pure perfection. Nice and creamy in the middle.
We had Vanilla beans, and a blue berry cake. They are simply out of the world.Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful.
Objectively excellent. Go and don’t look back. Every item is delicious and visually stunning, making it great for gifts and other special occasions. Given that each item is a work of art, prices are reasonable.
A fantastic place in Fells to satisfy your sweet tooth. Plus, they have NITRO TEA. Seriously the best thing ever. I think that’s my favorite item on their menu. Coming in a close second are their pistachio macaroons. The filling is wonderfully different from other macaroons I’ve had. Delicious. Also great are their orange blossom macaroons and pistachio eclairs. I’m drooling just thinking about it. 🤤
Wow! I received a present from a friend of two gorgeous desserts. I almost couldn’t eat them they were so beautiful, but I’m glad I did. Well done!
Worth driving to Baltimore for this place! Found it accidentally—will have to come back: visual and edible art! Exquisite!
The owners were extremely helpful in helping me choose the macaroons. They went above and beyond in their customer service. I highly recommend them and will be back soon.
The pastries were truly works of art. I was intimidated to bite into one at first, however once I did I was quickly overcome with bliss. Quite delicious.
As I’ve said to the wonderful folks working the counter both times I’ve stopped in, this is the last place I needed to discover. Was always curious about that little shop at corner of Fleet that I’ve driven past more times than I can remember. I finally stop in and am greeted by some of the most beautiful pastries and macarons I’ve seen in a long time. There is a painstaking attention to detail with every pastry, so much so I found myself studying each one as though I was in an art gallery. Not only are they gorgeous, but they’re also quite delicious. The macarons as well, with yuzu, rose and orange blossom flavors that are pleasant surprises. Nothing overly sweetened or lacking in flavor. Bonus points for the street side view into the kitchen❤️❤️❤️
A little bit of Paris in Baltimore, amazing. I brought a box of their macaroons to a party and they were devoured in an instant. Delicious, especially the sea salt caramel.
Beyond delicious
Love their macaroons ❤️Always come back Customer, the place is very clean and nice you can enjoy their other products very high class quality.
The macarons were better than any Ive ever had before. They had several cacti inside the shop that were arguably more impressive.
THE Closest to the macarons in Paris! You will not be disappointed especially if you allow them to arrive at room temperature before eating.
Fruit flavored macarons & chocolate infused marshmallows 🤐
I love this place! Everything is fresh, and delicious. I love the simple but classic looks of the place.
Beautiful pastries! I have purchased both macarons and small cakes, and all have been delicious.
I just discovered this place and as a dessert lover i can say that this is the best place in Baltimore !I absolutely will come back 😍
Most amazing macarons, pastries and desserts in all of Baltimore! I am so glad this place opened up in Baltimore as we were badly in need of a place like this! The macarons are the best Ive had and they have some of the most unique flavors... I love that every time I go there is a new flavor! Its probably good I have to drive from Hanover otherwise Id gain sooo much weight!
Awesome pastries and macaroons and the teas are also exquisite! should be on anyone’s list visiting Baltimore
Excellent Macaroons, might be the best Ive ever had. The larger desserts are more beautiful than they are delicious, but i do appreciate the inventiveness, which is lacking in Baltimore.
Wonderful Franchise dessert shop in Baltimore. Everything is delicious, especially the eclair!!
Hreat taste and the enviroment is very calmong
Its like an explosion of flavor in your mouth! Amazing
Delicious.. full of flavors.
Macarons were on point. Freshly baked. I got a dozen it was for my birthday. There were 11 flavors that day all were yummy and freshly baked.
Great patisserie! The macarons had a great texture and were not excessively sweet. They are definitely better than others Ive had in the area. But the salted caramel mascarpone eclair is the real winner.
This place looks like it was designed as a set piece for a Wes Anderson movie. Pretty good for some late night instas with a loved one.
Absolutely the best dessert shop in Maryland, they have the best macarons in the world.
Deliciously fresh macarons🥰❤ I shall return for more.
I cannot write a better review for this place! I went to Scotland years ago and had macarons from a French baker at his pastry shop and it was exquisite. I havent been able to find macarons like those again (even went to NYC). Little did I know, right around me there was this fantastic shop that had macarons just like the French pastry shop in Scotland! Ive finally found the holy grail of macarons in the states! The macarons were so flavorful. The first bite with the pop as your teeth sink in and then creamy smoothness of the inside OMG. Love all of the flavors, but especially liked the Yuzi (Japanese Lemon), Vanilla, Raspberry Chocolate, and White Chocolate Orange. They are good cold, but try to let them get to room temperature and you wont be disappointed! Will go back to this place again and again!
Amazing space and even more amazing macaroons and eclairs. A perfect place sit, have a cup of tea and some delicious treats and watch the city go by.
Yeah, this place deserves 5 stars or more. Price is reasonable and size is good and not too sweet.
Incredible macarons and fabulous pastries, this is a true gem of a cake shop, should be no1 on anyone’s list
Delicious Macarons. Great place!
Artful pastries and coffees! A gem of Fells Point.
Cute little dessert place on the corner. Macarons ♡
The macarons are devine, the desserts are elegant and very tasty, and the teas are fantastic! Honestly! Love this place!
These are by far the best macaroons Ive ever had...Delish
I went out for donuts at my local bakery, only to find it was closed for the 4th of July holiday. Not wanting to go home empty handed, I looked for the closest sweet shop available and that is how I landed at Sacré Sucré. My boyfriend and I were NOT disappointed. The dessert here is take a bite and immediately go oh my GOODDDDD delicious! Everything is also beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. Serve these desserts at your next gathering and your guests will be raving, asking where you found such high class, DELICIOUS desserts.
Horrible customer service if you dont like there work. They justify any errors saying they are not a design firm and cant customize cakes, even though I paid for a custom cake. Does not clarify any possible miscommunication and then blames the customer on it. Do not get a custom cake made there.
I stopped by on a whim and was so glad that I did! I got three things and they were all a hit.
This is the best place for desserts in Baltimore.
Lovely people.
Beautiful shop with exceptional pasteries
Lovely rose tea latte
Rose and Matcha macarons rocked my world!
