Great franchise! Every location definitely values quality and baristas are always knowledgeable in regard to the coffee’s sourcing and taste. Drinks aren’t overly sweet and they definitely appeal to regular coffee and tea drinkers. This location has nice outdoor seating and an open interior. Lots of Windows and feels clean and bright!

Ceremonys roasts are, without question, my local favorite. I only drink black coffee (nitros, cold brew, americanos, etc), so I can definitely say that the base of their drinks is amazing! Their staff is trained very well and with incredible care, so their crafted beverages look amazing too.Fast service, decently sized menu for drinks, and a good place to work. You can even get their nitro drinks in cans, a variety of their specially roasted beans for home, etc. If you want a really good coffee to make a really good day, stop by Ceremony!

5/5. I have been a huge fan of the Annapolis location for years, and have been looking forward to visiting their newer Baltimore location since it opened a little over a year ago. I finally had the chance to visit, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful interior, with a clean sleek modern feel. Very conducive for meeting a friend or getting work done. The drinks are carefully crafted and fantastic, with some unique creations as well. Some of the best coffee (and tea!) and the food looked amazing too. In a central location downtown. Loved it!!

An exceptionally white and wood, Northern European style cafe that has a small amount of pretense, but a quality of coffee that backs it.I had a flat white that rivals any I’ve had in the US.The only downside was the slow service, looks like they didn’t have enough people on that day.Would come again.

A very nice coffee shop. Has an apple store feel to it. Im not sure if they own the dog park but there is a dog park right next to it which is convenient for those dog lovers. The bathrooms are very clean. They have this cool workshop in the back of the store, it looks like you can take coffee making classes here which seems pretty cool. I had a chai tea latte and it was pretty good. (not a coffee drinker.) I hear the coffee is good though.

While apartment hunting in the area I Yelpd Coffee near me. Ceremony Coffee Roasters was the first to come up. Im glad I stopped by. Because of Covid measures, everyone has to order and pick up from an outside window. Theres about 5 tables or so outside to sit down though. All of which were occupied with no more than 2 people per table on during my visit.I asked for the baristas favorite, I believe she said it was a Mocha Peppermint Latte of some sort. I like Peppermint but not a huge fan of Mocha so I went with the Mint Latte, small, light ice. It took no time for my order to be ready. I could smell the mint from my straw. It was delicious. Next time Il get a medium. Although I could smell the mint before tasting, it wasnt heavy on the mint taste, get me? It was a perfect blend. It was also served with a small mint leaf inside. Cute! I shall return!

I stopped in here for a cold brew while visiting Baltimore from out of town. The coffee was delicious and the lighting and general space is beautiful. Ceremony has good coffee. Its not the best coffee Ive ever had, but it comes close to Blue Bottle. Its also a local Maryland roaster, from Annapolis. Those are the good things. The bad? Aggressively hipster locale, slow as molasses service, and long lines when people have anything slightly complicated. Oh, and extremely high prices. You will pay the same amount here for your fancy drinks as you would in San Francisco, which is pretty crazy for Baltimore. I would like this place a lot more if the prices and service were a bit more on the friendly side. Also - these dirty dishes have been sitting on this table for the entire time Ive been here, with multiple employees walking by, conveniently ignoring them.

The coffee is great (around same cost as Starbucks) and the interior is full of what seems like endless natural light (great for mornings where youre tired). Lots of college students; very safe and welcoming environment.Only drawback is the location (as of now). Let me be clear, the one time I went there, the customer service was great, and this review is based on my own taste (which earned them an extra star), but the pound of coffee I got was horrible! It was so acidic that I got sick from drinking it, as well as overpowered any added flavors to the coffee. I threw out half of it. Baltimore has a bunch of places that serve great coffee, but this doesn’t seem to be one of them.

Beautiful, light, sparse place with amazingly friendly staff. Even a plain drip coffee was fresh and excellent. Its right at a very clear transition along Park in Baltimore--at a leading edge of gentrification. I am obsessed with how wonderfully bright the medium and light roasts are from Ceremony! Not to mention their Nitro is INCREDIBLE; its very full, has a velvety quality without being heavy, and the magical ombre of the cup is enchanting (but dont let it settle).Staff is fantastic. Staff was very knowledgeable and recommended a great bag of beans to go; even explained the honey process in the preparations of the cherry / bean before roasting. Best part is the price: No elitist $5 cups of coffee and $6 cappuccinos. 12 oz of beans was also only $12

The coffee here is excellent and usually its a quiet place to enjoy a cup and get work done. The food is also generally very good. On different occasions Ive tried their toasts, sandwiches and yogurt bowls. Unfortunately in the mornings the place seems to get over run with 20+charter school kids who have no where to go before school opens. While theyre not disruptive, its still a bunch of energetic excited kids waiting for school to start which gets kinda loud and makes it hard to get work done.

The vibe for the place seemed off. They cant even be bothered to put up a board with coffee selections, though they had menus for the food choices which seems to rotate. Not the most friendliest establishment, having been to other coffee shops/restaurants in Baltimore. As much as I loved minimalist design, which can be warm, the place just felt cold and sterile. It seems like the poster child of trying to be trendy, hipster-only joint. Its in the neighborhood but I dont see myself coming back here.TBD for the coffee. I didnt get any but my partner did.

At the risk of sounding like a fan girl, I must admit, Ceremony produces the best beans I’ve ever had. Every time I’m in Baltimore I pick up a bag. Some of my favorites are Winter 2019 Annual, mass appeal, and antithesis. Their website is super helpful in picking out the right coffee for you. The shop is light and airy, but one thing I don’t love is the high ceilings and lack of carpet etc magnify every sound! If everyone else in the place is quiet, and you and a friend or 2 are talking, you will be loud, and you may feel out of place. Just a heads up!

One of the coolest coffee shops Ive ever patronized. They have figured out. Its bright, refreshing and quite and calming. A charming experience. High ceilings, large and plentiful windows bring in plenty of natural light. There is no shortage of seating and charging receptacles a perfect place for the work from home employee. They also have a dedicated closed section area as a work center. The staff, although nice and professional, give an air of pretentious hipster vibe. Not rude just not engaging and friendly. Like they work in a funeral home, sad expressionless faces. The coffee however is delicious, some of the best I have had! And the barista knows what he is doing, excellent cup of java.

Review №83

Nice open space with big windows and lots of natural light make this a good place to come and get work done, and as the majority of customers here do the same it’s not too noisy (besides the sometimes odd choice of music playing...).However, their simple brew coffee (cheapest thing I could find and in my own travel mug) was $2.65, and had a bit of a strange taste and odor to it. Service was prompt but not exactly what you’d call warm. Baristas still don’t ask names and just call out the drink orders, so looks like the previous review and reply hasn’t made much progress on that front.Maybe these prices and attitude could fly in DC, but it rubbed me the wrong way for a Baltimore place. I’d rather go somewhere with a friendlier atmosphere and better priced drinks, like Order & Chaos.

Man, I wish I could give this place 5 stars. I have struggled to get a proper espresso here, its always way too bitter to a point where I cannot drink it, so after a dozen or so attempts, I gave up on that. Okay, so first, a bit of background: I have, of late, been hunting down new coffee spots, since there are so many good local places that I was previously oblivious to. Ceremony was mentioned in 2 best coffee in Baltimore lists, and the menu sounded unique. Found it with little to no trouble. The ambience there is very chill, with a space thats nestled into the neighborhood, but also full of windows to allow for plenty of sunshine. As far as lattes, my usual go to, they only have vanilla & chocolate syrups on hand, which initially disappointed me. I ordered my vanilla iced latte, and stepped to the side. As I was waiting and exploring the rest of the store, one of the baristas began making this gorgeous drink that started with a house made blueberry syrup 😍 on further investigation, I found out that this was a seasonal drink called Good Vibrations. Without missing a beat, he switched out my order, making me one of those wonderful concoctions from the blueberry syrup, nitro cold brew & a vibrant, hot pink, hibiscus whipped cream to top it all off. Shouldve taken a picture, but I dove right in. This drink is the perfect farewell to summer, and I will be getting another before it comes off the menu of I can help it. If their other seasonal offerings are as inspired as this one, they definitely have a new, loyal customer. Verdict? Take the trip. Too much lovely local coffee to explore to let Starbucks and Dunkin have all the traffic💯
