This place is great for inspection and general repairs. Sam and the employees do a great job communicating any issues, allow you to have them repair or repair elsewhere (have done both) and are timely with their follow-up. No pressure, just good service. Cant recommend them enough!

My alternator died last night and the battery finally lost its charge and died while we were driving on the highway. Managed to cruise off the exit ramp and ended up in front of Top Tech. Auto Center and they were wonderful!Checked the battery for me, helped me jumpstart it, and charged the battery fully so I’d make it home. They were professional, competent, kind, and helpful.I would absolutely use them and recommend them for any auto need.

Happy to find this place. They are well located, and Rafi is super reasonable on his hourly shop rates for labor. I drove in unannounced and he managed to turn my car around the same day (new axle and some work on the drum brakes and a state inspection). Super honest guy, pretty friendly, and I cant wait to get some work on my truck done from them.

I went there yesterday to buy a car which was advertised on craigslist. It said the car was inspected and safe. Stated body was clean and it had a nasty little dent in the passenger front door. First gear was sloppy, tach and speedometer didnt work. Told me I was lying about being told it was inspected. I have the screen shots of the ad. Also said he was the own and was not. He even took me for the 10 bucks I put in the gas tank . Very shady. Walked away from the car and do not recommend buying anything from this business. Its horrible someone would try and take advantage of a single mom trying to make in this world .

I posted a review on this business and was totally in the dark based on some missing information. I was working without full knowledge of everything that was going on and trying to handle the business of working with Sam from long distance. Because of my not listening and taking everything into account I wrote an emotional review based on just that one conversation. After talking with Sam and he and I had come to an understanding, I am writing this to say that I should have waited before writing such a terrible review. However, I was able to remove the review and will say that Sam has been more than gracious with me and my lapse in judgement. Therefore, I will say dont judge a book by its cover especially when you have never even read the book. Or walked in their shoes. This is probably one of the best places in Baltimore. I was instantly welcomed by the owners hospitality and friendliness. Him and his team quickly identified a leak in the steering fluid and brought me into the garage, pinpointing the source of it, and explaining exactly what the repair would be. He was even teaching me a little bit about the engine with excitement. Several times he enthusiastically called me into the garage to show me something new--it felt like a free lesson. All and all the price of the repair I felt was very reasonable and now my vehicle drives better than it has in a long time. Its clear he definitely knows his stuff. He even told me him and his team frequently attend classes to keep up with their knowledge as the industry changes. If you have any problems with your vehicle I definitely recommend this place. Just note that they typically do things by appointment and the work slowly and carefully--which is more than fine with me.

I took my vehicle in to have a service engine soon warning light checked out. They checked out the computer codes... thought it may have been a false signal from a non-factory part. They inspected the part and it seemed fine. So they cleaned the part, then re-tested it and everything was fine - no more engine light. And the best part... no charge. Find that in todays world... 10 Stars!

A great place to do your car repair. They do know what they are doing and their prices are typically very reasonable. We brought our old Ford there for 3 years and it never had a problem while they cared for it. That said, they have been getting busier. Make sure they have a quiet day and time for your car, maybe come early in the morning.

Ive been here twice now, and both times I have been helped quickly, kindly, and been given options and very good prices. Whats really struck me is how honest, fair and helpful the staff are.In my first experience, I was in a minor accident, and the staff actually reused as many parts that were still functional, saving me a ton of money. I could have been very easily sold on more parts and labor, but they were incredibly fair and resourceful, and also very fast!In my second experience, I had a vague notion something didnt feel right in my car. They patiently tried to understand what I was feeling, and took me on a test drive to try to recreate the problem. It felt fine, and they told me so but offered to take a look underneath if I wanted them to, even though they didnt think it was necessary. They eventually found a few small unrelated things, but emphasized that they werent urgent and could wait 6 months or so if I wanted to. Again they could have sold me any number of solutions, but were Instead incredibly honest. Also, again, very fast. And, they even randomly gave some great advice about car brands!Ive mostly worked with Raffi, who is really just so knowledgeable, fair, kind and helpful. I cant say enough good things, and will recommend Top Tech to anyone! You have my loyalty!

Did nothing to try to help me figure out how to fix my problem or where to go. Failed me numerous times on my inspection for a very small issue. Now I basically have to sell a car I put alot of work into. Not happy.Says they dont fix cars there when I went to the initial inspection but all of the reviews said how great their mechanic was. Thats the reason I went there in the first place. Highly disappointed.

Had a nail in my tire while running late, called Top Tech Auto and was done and patched 20 minutes from that phone call. Raphy even held up traffic so I could back out from his shop that sits on a busy intersection. Probably the best experience Ive ever had at an auto shop.

I shopped around for a new mechanic recently when my former mechanic sold his shop. Sam, owner of Top Tech Auto, is a great mechanic and a gentleman. Fair and reasonable prices. He and his staff treat women respectfully. He doesnt talk down to women. Explains everything in detail regarding what your car needs. Youll know before hand what everything will cost. Great location: from 83, get off on 28th. Make a left onto Sisson Street--which is at the bottom of the bridge--so get over on the left right away. Sisson Street changes name to Keswick Road. Top Tech is near 28th across from Stieff.

I have to say, if you are a lady who knows little about cars, STAY AWAY from these guys. At first glance they seem totally charming, and willing to help you get your car back on the road. My experience was as follows: Took my 98 Volvo in because my engine was overheating. I knew the car had some problems, but this was a new one. After they walked me around and under the car, talking a mile a minute about things I didnt understand, they told me my car was not safe to drive because I needed new brake pads. Ok well why was my engine overheating oh it just needed new anitfreeze fluid, it should be no problem now. They also told me they did a full evaluation on the car and that fixing my brakes was the only immediate issue ($700) and so I sprung for it. Less than two weeks later my engine is overheating again. I take it in only for them to open up the hood, sigh and say that my radiator needs to be replaced, another $400. Why in the world did they not see this when they did the initial evaluation? The answer is, If they are skilled mechanics, they would have seen this. They figured I would spend another $400 since I just dumped my entire savings on new brakes. They also were overly flirtatious which was totally uncomfortable, but I guess thats how they operate. Gain your trust, and then take advantage. What a bunch of jerks.
