First of all I want to say that I cannot say enough positive things about this establishment, and specifically MIKE. My daughter had a flat tire and no spare; her car was in a VERY tight spot and NOBODY wanted to help us. She couldnt be towed, nobody could help us with a tire, etc. Thankfully I saw the ad for Tire Network and spoke to Mike. I live in NY, and my daughter is in Baltimore so it was a tricky and stressful situation. Mike went above and beyond to help my daughter and me and he was friendly, kind, and patient.Additionally, a week later I was driving down to Baltimore when my check engine light went on. My car is only a few years old but I was very concerned. I called Hyundai in NY to ask how quickly I have to take my car in and they told me to go to the nearest Hyundai in Baltimore. Of course they couldnt see me for two weeks,so who did I call? Of course Mike and he happily and readily checked out my light immediately and fixed the problem.Mike is a stand up, honest, knowledgeable mechanic.I can say that I feel secure with my daughter being so far away because of this fantastic service. Thank you Mike!!!!!!Also I gave this 5 stars but it only shows up as 4.
Joe was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I didn’t have an appointment and stopped to see if he could help assess a screw in my tire. He willingly looked at the tire right away, and made sure all of my other tires were at the correct pressure. I was so thankful he squeezed me in right on the spot. Highly recommend this place!
I went to this shop first initially to get my tires done, and it seemed like a good shop to work with.. but once I started coming back to get more things done, I felt like he was over quoting me for prices... I went to get my break pads replaced and trim down my rotors and Break fluid.. i was quoted over 900 bucks....... which is ridiculous... looking online and calling around other shops in the area, i was Quoted closer to 400-500 to get the break pads replace.. and if i wanted to replace my Rotors and break fluids.. it would cost me 800... Mind you guys, i also ask for OEM parts as well...The other place I asked for OEM and with front rotors and full break pad replacement for the front and back for 560.... its not a 50 percent discount, you guys just overcharge..... if you go look up prices for a Toyota avalon 2016 break pad change.. its only around 400 to 500... if you use Google review so much then look it up on Google...
Didnt disclose 1000 or 30 days or i need reispection to by the book when its Minut and its expensive go elsewhere
The guy John or Joe who does the inspection is not honest. When had my car inspected, and alot needed to be repaired too pass. I had my mechanic fix all the reported problems. When it was time for my re-inspection with John/Joe, stated I have no room to do a re-inspection. John said go pay some one else for a new inspection this guy is very rude. If you are a female do not go to this shop alone. He was trying to get me to pay $3000 for a job that cost me $1000. Please save your self the trouble and avoid this shop. Aberdeen Muffler shop is a very good inspection site that operate with integrity. I have passed my car inspection and thank God I did not fall into The Tire Networks rip off $3000. I paid $1000 to fix my car, the owners deflect all the issues customers bring up. People stay away from this business!!!!!
Shop never called me to give any info on my vehicle. I had to call them twice away for 2days. I very busy at my job its hard to stop look for a number and call. I have a Bluetooth so its easy for me just to answer the phone.
Joe was an awesome, knowledgeable mechanic who helped get me in and out fast with my inspection. He was super friendly and helped correct a couple minor things to help pass inspection (lose endlink and battery tiedown). I couldnt have asked for a better experience. For what its worth, reading these other reviews make me feel people, who couldnt pass inspection, just go off the handle at this place. As a gearhead, it is a very thorough Maryland mandate and Joe even caught stuff I missed on my regular maitainnece I do. Disparaging an inspector with reviews just because he or she is doing their job in accordance with the law is petty. My experience was nothing but positive here.Id recommend Joe even as a guy who loves his car and tries to do most of the work myself at home.
RESPONSE: Joe, I do not write negative reviews for businesses lightly (please consult my other Google reviews). First, you are incorrect in your response; I do not drive a 2003 Corolla. Second, I encourage you to consider ways to improve your business without attacking displeased customers.Take Care,SamanthaORIGINAL POST:I took my car here a few years back when I first moved to MD for the state inspection. I have a mechanic in my family, so Ive always maintained my vehicle regularly. Tire Network spotted a couple of valid items, which I appreciated and addressed. However, several of them seemed off-base, so I chose to take my vehicle to another mechanic (not a state inspector) who agreed with me. After a lot of stress-Redditing I discovered I could let the first inspection expire and take my vehicle to another state inspector. I was bummed that I had to pay for the inspection twice, but my vehicle passed easily the second time. I have not used Tire Network for any other services, so I cannot speak to the quality of work they do there. However, I strongly advise against having your state inspection done here.
If u dont have money or the color dont go thr
Very unprofessional would recommend looking somewhere else. Was told to stop by Saturday morning only to be turned away the employee wouldnt help me. Was told i would need a brand new tire and rim which was completely false. Wouldnt even help me put air in my tire instead was told go pay to get air at 7/11 or gas station down the street. Bad business.
I brought my car here to be inspected. I was charged $150 because they said my car is 6 cyl. but my car is actually 4 cyl. I was told I failed the inspection for a couple things, but when I went back to the dealer where I purchased my car they said there wasn’t an issue. I question the integrity of the service they are offering and believe they fail people just to bring in business.
Great Experience at The Tire Network today. I went in for a Maryland State Inspection, the owner was extremely professional. He gave me an estimate of what time my car would be ready; he was on time. I would recommend this shop to everyone.
Awesome great service quick and efficient
The owner, Joe, was very considerate of me and was willing to stay open after hours to give me a chance to pick my car up. He gave me some great advice regarding my goal (plight?) of getting my beater Civic to a roadworthy state after inspecting the vehicle. Also gave me a ride to work. Stand up kinda guy.
Ive been taking my car to Joe ever since I moved back to Baltimore about 10 years ago. Hes the only mechanic I trust. When I got into an accident a few years ago, he let me store the damaged vehicle at his shop while I figured out logistics with the insurance company. He always gives me his honest opinion and has never tried to up-sell me or my girlfriend. Great neighborhood business!
Had to replace a flat tire. They were very quick to take me same-day and get me back on the road so I could get in to work. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Reasonable prices.
Great experience! Was in baltimore from out of town and they were a huge help getting us back on the road!
Joe and his family at The Tire Network are amazing. My car decided to not start as I was attempting to leave the Starbucks in my neighborhood and head to work. Called Joe and he walked me through a few things to try and get the car started. We couldnt get it to turn over so he asked me where I was and said he would be there shortly. He arrived and was able to get it started. This wasnt just a simple jump start either. I was able to drive it to his shop to get the repair done. It ended up needing a new starter, but I also told Joe that I needed an oil change and rear brakes. Once at the shop he offered to drive me to my office as well. The car was complete the same day. Joe coming out and getting my car to start saved me a large towing cost. Incredible customer service. Thanks again, you guys are awesome.
DO NOT GO HERE! I see lots of people going here for their state inspections and there is a benefit to having your inspection site do any repairs and that is one of the main reasons I believe there are better places to go!Took my car in for my state inspection. At first they were very accommodating and were able to get me in that day. They did find some wear on one of my joints so I brought it back in a couple days later when they said they were free and could work on it. After 3 days they had made no progress (I had also told them I needed it for that weekend as I was going out of town) and I was not kept informed of progress on my car. I was told to bring it back in on Monday, which I did, and it wasnt until Thursday of that week that any work actually started on my car. I proactively called multiple times during week and Thursday I also told them I need my car by Friday evening. By Friday evening my car was not done as promised and I was guaranteed to have my car by noon on Saturday. When I stopped by the shop at 12pm they werent even working on my car and it was not finished. Finally picked up my car Saturday afternoon and was still charges full price including labor. For being a local shop I never felt the hometown hospitality and respect.
I would not suggest using this business for any of your car needs especially for the state inspection. The prices are outrageous and the customer service is very poor. Due to this shop being certified to do state inspections, they can charge you whatever they see fit. If the conversation starts with, “well you have to do it to pass and I can do it for you but...” RUN AWAY as fast as you can. I paid over $300 for a state inspection and had to pay another mechanic to finish work that should’ve been completed by The Tire Network. It was a horrible experience and I would not suggest using this company.
Convenient to work. Joe is easy to talk to and he understands what i expect. I take care of my cars myself, but some things require a shop, an i always take my cars here. Price is always fair, and work is always very high quality. Look no further.
Great Customer Service .Work dome was professional and top quality. Great place to a get new tires or tire repaired. Thanks keep up the great work.
The Tire Network is the best.! I needed to change my tags over to Maryland. I had my car inspected in PA a few months before and figured I wouldnt need major repairs. I took my car to Goodyear, and they told me I need new routers and it would cost me $300. They were extremely pushy about me making the repairs. As a female I often feel like the auto industry as a whole tries to take advantage of me so wanted a second opinion. When I called the Tire Network I explained my situation to the owner, Joe. He too agreed that something sounded fishy and to bring my car in. He reinspect it for free because he didnt want me to have to pay twice for the same service. Upon inspection he found that I did not need need router and in fact my brakes and router look practically new!! He explained every step of the inspection what the results meant, and what repairs I might need in the future. Joe even met me at my work and picked up and dropped off my car. The people at Tire Network are honest hardworking people and truly care about their customers. I will never go back to Goodyear!
I came here for a simple tire repair. I had to pester them to get my repair moved up in the queue, but they were very obliging. The owner came and helped me out and brought me in the back room to watch what he did and explain to me why he chose the repair he did.I do a lot of my own auto repairs and I trust these guys. The price was definitely fair.
Went to The Tire Network for an inspection, ended up that my 2 rear tires had tread too low to pass. Joe noticed other things with my tires and called Michelin to get me a warranty discount. After that he only had the step-up from the tires I currently owned, and offered me advice on how to get an even better price by calling Michelin. Overall, great customer service and Joe was a really nice and helpful guy!
Great place! These guys really take the time. Fixed my car and even showed me how to put my 3 row seat down. If you want good service this is the spot...
This is exactly the type of family owned business you want to support. Joe was upfront about options regarding my tire replacement and did exceptional and timely work. I will be returning, thank you. Niko
I had a good experience here. My cars battery was completely dead and I went to them as they were getting ready to close up on a Saturday. The owner drove to the other side of the city just to pick up my battery and then one of his mechanics installed it for me. I was very grateful for them doing it right then and there because I was supposed to meet some friends in Annapolis that evening. The owner is local and hes a really good guy. I think people are being awfully liberal in choosing their one star ratings because their reasons are pretty petty e.g., the guy with the metal stem caps you were the one who broke the stem (next time theres a problem take it back to them and have them take it off if theres an issue).
Ive gone to see Joe at The Tire Network and the team at Goodyear, about a mile away. Joe blows em out of the water. I just got a quote from him for almost half of what they wanted for a repair, and I know that Joes team will do an excellent job. Some things, like an oil change, will cost a little more, but youll be supporting a small local business and will be getting an honest deal when you need any repairs. Id recommend The Tire Network to anyone looking for car repairs. Plus, they have Sunday hours!
Called up to get a busted lug nut removed and a wheel replaced, they told me to come in at 3:30. 3:55 I was out the door. Everyone I dealt with was extremely nice and helpful. Getting the wheel replaced wasnt a big deal service-wise, but I needed it done quickly and they were able to fit me in despite being busy. Excellent service all the way around.
Very knowledgeable staff. I had a sidewall blow out and am from out of town. They had a new tire on my car and had me on my way in just a couple hours. Both the secretary and technician were very courteous!
Joe is an excellent mechanic. Estimates are honest, and work is high quality. I went in for a wobble/vibration in my Toyota Tacoma, and it has been a problem for years. After getting the run around at other shops, Joe test drove my truck and corrected the problem. At Joes shop, you get the direct communication and efficiency of a local shop and the quality of a dealership. Highly recommended.
This shop is great! I had a few questions about an old truck that I just bought and Joe talked with me about things I could do at home without even having to bring it in. It is not everyday you can find an honest mechanic who isnt just looking for every little thing to try and get in your pocket. Clean shop. very friendly. Even though I didnt need to bring my truck in, I will definitely be bringing my cars there when I do.
How does this place have so many good reviews about customer service?Do not get your car inspected here - unless youd like to wait 5 HOURS. I called ahead of time to ask if there was availability for a car inspection, front desk asked when I was coming in, I said 20 minutes, and they said okay and it will take an hour.I got there within 20 minutes and dropped my car off and was told that it would be an hour from when he starts and they dont know when that would be. 2 1/2 hours later I come back and am told that it was started but would take another hour or hour and a 1/2. So 2 hours after THAT I call again and am put on with the inspector who told me my window tint was too dark.I giving this 2 stars instead of 1 star because the state inspector was actually very nice and explained the window tint regulations/law to me. However, I feel that I did not have to wait 5 hours just to have my car inspected. Front desk did not even apologize about the situation. They need to manage appointments and expectations better.
I love places like this! Fast service, very friendly staff. I felt welcomed immediately. The mechanics were able to answer my questions and give me good honest advice. I will definitely be back!
Excellent customer service. Joe not only makes you feel comfortable and welcome but you can trust if he thinks you need it, you need it. He goes out of his way day after day to help his customers. The only other person i have ever met like him is my dad. I appreciate being far away from home having someone i can rely on in time of need when it comes to any maintenance to my car. I suggest for ANYONE to go to Joe no matter what type of work they need. He is by far the best in Baltimore!
Fast service, extremely knowledgeable, makes great recommendations. Price is very reasonable and both owners are very friendly. Best tire experience ever!
Joe at The Tire Network always a great experience at a reasonable price
Joe has helped me with several things over the last few years. If you want an honest and hardworking guy, hes your man. Goodyear tried to sell me a new tire for $140, and Joe patched it up on the spot. Best customer service around!
Worst experience ever with a mechanic. I havent been back since and would not recommend this place. The main guy has zero customer service skills, zero regard for anyone else time, can never give an accurate quote, and then gets pissed when you have questions. This place is poorly run and obviously they take every customer they can get for the instant money. They way it is ran does not cultivate return customers.
I had to go in and get my dash lights replaced they went out. Tire Network was able to replace my lights in the dash in no time at all! Works great! Will go back for any future repairs.--Ron
Called just to get a quote & was told they don’t do that because “the mechanic has to see the problem”. Well do you charge for that? “Well it depends if he has to lift your car”. I know what the problem is. My car is in perfect condition, i just have a small simple issue that doesn’t really need to be fixed but inspections says so. Lady on the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional as well with an attitude!
The head mechanic provided a grossly overestimated quote when I needed my rotors replaced. When I questioned him about the quote, he became very disrespectful and combative. Astoundingly poor customer service skills. Fortunately, Firestone is just 2 blocks north and they provided me with quality service for a FAIR price!
Joe is very friendly and will go the extra mile if need be. He even gave me a ride back to my neighborhood because he cares. I have no idea why this is only 4.5 stars
Circa 2017 but I never got a chance to postOne of the worst experiences I’ve ever had dealing with an auto shop. I went in for a simply oil change and also needed a new battery for my Scion tC. I was told they could knock it out in 2 hours on on a Tuesday morning. Called through out the day to check the status and they gave me excuse after excuse. They told me to leave it over night and they would take care of it first thing Wednesday morning...6pm on Wednesday I finally got my car back. Told me it was $270 for a basic oil change and car battery replacement 😳. On top of that my front passenger side wasn’t working now. I was then force to leave my car at this dump another night so they could fix my window now. All I can hope is the next Baltimore riot takes this place out 😃
Great locally owned and operated shop. Friendly and fast. I have been coming here for years.
Quality work and great service.
When the low tire pressure indicator went on in my brand new car last week, and when I realized that I actually had a tire with a slow leak, I needed to find a place to get my tire repaired ASAP. I looked through all the various reviews for local tire places, and The Tire Network had 27 of 28 positive reviews, so I gave it shot. Long story short, the reviews are all true and Joe is one of the most upstanding mechanics Ive ever met. After they determined that my tire had a hole in the sidewall, I learned that I needed a new tire. When I called the dealership to ask what they would do, they told me it would be $230 for the new tire before tax. Joe told me that it would be $247 for my tire before installation, but in his experience, based on my tire being brand new and the fact that there was no evidence of me hitting a road hazard, Michelin would probably give me 25-50% towards the cost of the new tire. He told me that hed help me fill out the claim and talk to them. The dealership said that they would not be able to help me with that and Id have to deal with Michelin on my own.Joe spent 20 minutes calling back Michelin until he found somebody competent and understanding of my situation. He got them to give me 50% towards the cost of the tire as goodwill since it broke with less than 2000 miles on the tire, and spent a good amount of time and effort working for me on my behalf. The whole time while I was waiting I watched a stream of new and existing customers come in needing various repairs - some needing tire work, others just needing service on their cars. All the regulars love Joe and his staff and he knew them all personally and really cared about more than just their business.I was very impressed by the integrity of Joe and his staff, the quality of their work and the overall customer experience. I would definitely recommend The Tire Network and Joe Hooe to anyone looking for a fair and competent mechanic. Thanks again Joe!
I had an awesome experience at the Tire Network. I discovered new friends and a team of people that enjoy their work and take pride in what they are doing. Thank you.
Extremely unprofessional. It takes a lot of incompetence and dishonesty for me to give an establishment 1 star. This is an old experience, but I realized I never wrote a review and looking at other reviews, it appears nothing has changed. About 4 years ago I purchased new Continental tires for my Rav4 at Tire Network. Upon completion I noticed they had replaced my black plastic valve cover caps with nice silver chrome ones. I thought that was pretty cool. That is until several weeks later the chrome cap seized to the metal valve stem! I could not get it off by hand or with pliers. The cap however was compatible with a standard socket so I attempted to use a socket wrench and snapped the valve stem! Thankfully no air leaked out so I drove it back to the Tire Network to tell them what happened, thinking they would be apologetic and offer to replace the stem free of charge. Nope! Not only did they not apologize, the owner denied anyone in his shop put on the chrome valve caps. After debating back and forth he admitted it could have been his mechanic that put the chrome caps on, but that he wasnt going to pay a dime for the $100+ TPMS valve stem because I was the one that broke it! I told him that after doing research I found out that metal caps should have never been put on the stems and that they are prone to this type of seizing. He said it was no big deal and they were easy to get off. I told him the other three caps were also seized up and he said he would get them off for me and replace them with plastic caps. I said at the very least he could go 50/50 with me for the price of the new stem. He said no way and that if I didnt like it he would take my car off the lift right there without getting the other 3 caps off! I humbled myself and told him I would pay for the new stem. Never had such a problem at any auto shop. The sooner this place goes out of business the better.
Got us in and out quickly after we got a flat tire and were in a rush.
Money hungry please don’t waste your time with these ppl. Scamming people out of money and time
Great work and very open and honest about what needs to be done. They gladly take me and show me any issues and consider all the options available before performing repairs.
Some of the rudest white people Ive met. I went in today and waited for 5 mins or more before anyone said anything because the lady at the front was on the phone . When a guy came from the back i explained I just got off work and would like to get an inspection . He told me he could do it but I would have to leave it and itll take two hours, so I asked what time they closed and when to expect it he said 6 . I said okay and was making a call for a ride home, while Im on the phone he says oh you dont want it I said I do just calling for a ride . So he says to the lady just go and schedule her, so I asked could they do it now or not ? He said well you came in at 4 and technically we are done in a very rude and nasty tone .So that shouldve been something you said from the jump. I just kindly left. If I could give them no stars I would do it!
Shady old guy tried charging me $110 for a tire rotation. It seems the old man has a chip on his shoulder towards the younger crowd of Fed Hill. I promptly left and went up the road about a quarter mile and had them rotated for 20 bucks at Firestone.
I have gone here for a while. Everything was great, but yesterday we had a simple part replaced. 75 bucks form the invoice. He shows me what he had to do. Three hours labor, over three hundred dollars. It did not take three hours to replace that part of the exhaust. I just feel a little ripped off.
Ive been coming here for auto work since the early 2000s. Theyre honest, thorough and fast.
Got the job done in the time they predicted. Personable staff.
Joe and his family are the nicest people ever! Really good prices and work, theres no reason to go anywhere else in the city.
Fantastic experience! Met the owner Joe when I was struggling with a flat on a Sunday morning by his shop. Despite the shop being closed, he grabbed my tire and patched it in no time. Saved me a ton of hassle and money. Couldnt be happier. Will go here for all my tire needs
Sent my car there for a simple alternator swap. They received a faulty alternator and took three days to realize they needed to order a new one. I went and got a alternator myself and brought it in only to discover that in changing out the alternator they had now mangled my air intake hose and ruined the air/gas mixture going into the car. So now I have a car more ruined than it was going in. To end in true style they doubled the initial labor cost.I will never bring my car here again. This shop is terribly run. Buyer beware
Lovely place great hospitality and great service. I will be returning. Thanks Ms South Carolina 😎😎
They took a last minute appointment and patched up my tire right! Great service!
I wish I could give 0 stars!!! This place did a state inspection for me, He failed 3 items 2 of which I repaired myself. Took the car back 8am asked to have the blinker bulb replaced and to do the reinspection. The next day at noon I called to find an estimated time of completion since I didnt get any phone calls the day before. He said he doesnt even know what is wrong with the vehicle after being told twice and I need to come get my car and take it somewhere else! He is the rudest unprofessional I have ever dealt with!
Took my car to Firestone across the street because my tire pressure light came on. Said everything was fine... a week later the light comes on again. I take it to The Tire Network and Joe found a 0.5 slash in my tire side wall. Thanks to Joe he saved me the headache of a flat tire on 95.....He uses BFGoodyear tires which are a tad more expensive than I needed on my Honda Civic, but they were guaranteed for 60k miles. Joe and Marianna also talked me through the expensive purchase. These guys made tire buying a lot easier
This is a plug for Joe and his team at Tire Network. This is one client who really came to understand that Joe has my back. He replaced a transmission for us 3 years ago, and because of a technicality, GMC refused to honor the warranty on the transmission, claiming that we were one month beyond the warranty period in spite of the fact that the warranty was good for 100,000 miles and we had only put 9,000 miles on the car when the transmission again failed. Joe spent hours helping us build our case against GMC, talked with colleagues in the repair industry, and even offered to replace the transmission at cost. While the effort to get GMC to own up to the failure did not succeed, it was not on account of Joe Hooe and the Tire Network team. They are our go-to repair people.
The best customer service that I could ever hope to ask for. I will definitely be returning in the future.
I have had two experiences with them and will never take my car back there again. The first was with a Maryland state inspection. They over quoted a price and when we took it someplace else to get it fixed the other mechanic said nothing was even wrong. They then put the VIN number on wrong for the paperwork which caused me to be at the MVA an hour longer then necessary. The second time they again over quoted to have some brakes fixed. Charged a large fee to have absolutely nothing done! Both experiences also took an entire extra day longer then they had told me initially. I do not recommend the tire network at all and will never take my car back there.
Joe is the man! Great service, great price, great guy! Thanks again!
Place is a joke would strongly recommend going elsewhere with your vehicle. Went there to have car looked at for making a noise after $650 2 days later noise returns gave a 2nd chance when vehicle needed to pass emissions test so charged $110 for diagnostic check and $300 more to fix issue 2 days later vehicle fails inspection so next day go back there and greeted with an arrogant jerk. Forgot to rotate tires on 1st visit then preceded to charge to do so when took it back. Beware a politician and car mechanic wont find a more dishonest pair which the owner does both.
Awesome experience buying my tires here over the last weekend. Joe and Mike are experts.
Great experience, thank you. will recommend.
Called days ahead to request an appointment and only after I dropped off my car and called to check in did they tell me that they had no record of me in their system. The mechanic gave an absurd estimate because he didnt want to change my tires out since he was so busy. Wasted a whole day and no service rendered. Would NOT recommend.
Pleasant to work with service and the best prices anywhere on the tires we purchased.
Changed 4 tires instead of 2 (2 were still ok as I drove only 27000 mil). Paid Bridgestone tire $299 per each which is currently being sold at Bridgestone $249. diagnosed alignment was off even without measuring by machine and paid $189 to fix that. There was almost no difference between before and after.Never trust reviews. I feel like I got ripped off.
I spent 2 months investigating new tires, settled on Michelin Defenders, and then visited a dozen vendors (chains and locals). My top priorities were decent price (not necessarily rock bottom), tires in-stock, Hunter Roadforce balancing, and finding a shop with highly qualified technicians, not a bunch of kids that worked at Walmart the week before. After all, tires are expensive and are critical safety equipment. As a result, I decided to try Tire Network. I was not disappointed - this place is the real deal. They had the best price on Michelin Defenders that I could find, they had them in-stock, plus Hunter Roadforce balancing was included with new Michelins! Roadforce balancing helps your tires ride better and last longer. This $150-$200 value makes the total cost even lower than if you buy/ship from Tire Rack and try to find a shop to do the same work. Plus, I actually trust Joes staff to do the Roadforce balancing properly, including calibrating the machine and remounting as necessary.Tire Network is also the place to go with your specialty car or truck tire and wheel needs, like big truck tires that can be hard to balance (my Jeep). They also have special lifts for low profile sports cars.Joe knows tires. He is very knowledgeable and careful and is happy to give you as much detail as you care to know. Do yourself and Joe a favor and make an appointment, especially if you have a special tire/wheel.As for the Defenders... in the time it took to install my tires, over five inches of snow fell in Baltimore. I drove past dozens of vehicles that could not make it up the hills. Even though these are not true winter tires, I made it home with no problems and was very impressed with grab and stopping performance.Thank you Tire Network
THE WORST SERVICE EVER THIS MAN IS A SCAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!! HE WILL RIP YOU OFF BE AWARE
This is an excellent shop with extremely competent mechanics who, somehow, miraculously, have been able to have everything I have ever needed with my car done immediately, regardless of how busy they are, and did it at a reasonable price. As I write this, their mechanic is staying hours after closing, installing a wheel bearing on my car after the part arrived late, through no fault of theirs.Let me also say that before I found the Tire Network, I visited 2 of the other shops that are listed as excellent on the review pages for Baltimore auto service, and both quoted me $189 and two weeks delivery for an ignition coil, and 1.5hrs of shop time to install it. That sounded steep, so I found the same part for a total of $60 including two day rush shipping, and after watching a youtube clip, pulled the old one and had the new one installed and car started in less than 15mins. When I brought this up to the mechanic at the Hampden shop when I came back for another repair, he just told me thats the business.Unfortunately, weve all gotten way too comfortable with complete dishonesty and essentially criminal pricing schedules as the standard treatment in auto repair. The Tire Network stands alone in Baltimore, in my opinion, by providing honest and extremely effective service. They have my highest recommendation.
Great customer service. Trustworthy!
Good quick service, good price, good people. Couldnt ask for more.
Has gone out of his way to help me more than once, including one time when I was broken down in a rainstorm.
Great service! Very professional
Very trust worthy! I have not had a problem with my car since Joe fixed it!!!!!!!!

Best auto repair shop in Baltimore
I was in Baltimore for the day, and got a blow out exiting the interstate. I found tire network searching from my phone, and they went out of their way to find the right tire in town to fit my SUV. Had it changed in no time so I would have to drive back to Virginia on the spare. Thank you Tire Network! You guys took care of me and I wont forget that!
Heads up to everyone, $110.00 just to have diagnostics performed. Johns Auto Services doesnt charge and they are right around the corner.
