I love my Aston sectional with console. It was delivered on time. The only problem was it was missing the two screws that held the back of the console on, so they had to send someone out to fix it. That took 3 weeks to get a repair person out. I am very happy with my experience, Linda, Kelly and Kelsey (she was a manager, I hope I remembered her name correctly) on Manchester were awesome, friendly and helpful.

Alexander Bayer was such a joy to shop with. Not only was he very professional and knowledgeable about the products in the store, but he literally felt like a friend the second I walked through that door. I was shopping for a mattress and he asked all the main questions and even when I was hesistant, he never pressured me to buy the mattress. Which is very important. The first 2 stores I went too were very strong on the pressuring. Alexander gave me space and made me feel very comfortable to make the decision I needed to make. 10/10 would shop here again. And Brea, another staff member, was also very kind and helpful. They didnt keep anything from me and was very forward with everything. It truly felt that they wanted the very best for me, not for the business. That is such a precious, and usually underrated, trait for staff in customer service. I am a VERY satisfied customer.

We had the most desirable experience working with David. We never felt pressured or that we were taking up too much of his time while we went back and forth between furniture selections. My Mom and I went in shopping for new furniture and were pleasantly surprised to not be hounded the second we stepped inside the doors. We were able to find the pieces we liked and discuss amongst ourselves what else we might need/want before leaving. After finding the pieces we liked and wanted to purchase, Linda R came by and asked if we needed any help. Linda was fabulous at finding the pieces we liked and letting us know when they would be available. Throughout the whole process Linda talked with us about the warranties and asked if we wanted them; not becoming upset when we said no we didnt want any of them. Linda definitely made this shopping trip for furniture as stress free as possible.

The sales team was nice and the chair was well priced.Problem was they told me that I could pickup the chair 4/8, Thirsday and I would get a text with an update. No text or call on Thursday so I called the warehouse and was directed to the store. Called the store and was told, The system likes to mess up the order and ship the chair to our store and we cant receive it. They then pushed the order to the orginal warehouse, but now it wont be there till Monday 4/12.I moved my own chair out in anticipation of bringing the new one home today, just based on their word. Burned...

Samantha was an absolute treat to work with! I’ll be the first to admit I’ve neglected purchasing a new mattress for far too long, but I knew it was definitely time. I came in the other day and Samantha made the whole process so simple and very pleasant from doing a “sleep test” on me to find the right mattress firmness, to helping me select the perfect mattress in my price range. She’s a wonderful young lady and I’d be happy to give her my business for my future furniture needs!

Wish I didn’t have to give one star. This is by far the worst value city store ever in Missouri. From previous reviews I wasn’t expecting this horrible experience. Not to mention they only have a 1-800 number for customer service with no live person. I purchased my whole bedroom set from this place March 2021 and here it is September 2021 and still no dresser or mirror. Here’s the dealbreaker. I purchased my mattress off their floor and the guy they had working told me, THE ONLY WAY HE’LL HELP IS IF I BROUGHT LUNCH!!!! I was out done, and when I mentioned that to the manager (ALEXIS) she laughed over the phone HER NAME ALEXIS!! I get it everything is a little behind due to the pandemic, I get it. I haven’t received a call, a follow up an apology nothing. They offered my delivery fee of 189.00 back, that’s for the item that I haven’t got. Told me couldn’t be refunded until all my items was delivered. What about my mattress, I had to slide my mattress through the store and to my car??? Imagine what it looked like after that. No help. I wasn’t buying no one lunch to do their job. I have talked to Bre and Alexis and the both claim the best they could do is give me back delivery fee.. But this is not the end..They are most definitely the worst company. Wish I didn’t have to say company but value city come on!!! Everybody has a boss and ALEXIS claims she doesn’t..These people are extremely rude and the customer service is awful… This is not the end ALEXIS and BRE IM COMING FOR YA!!!!!! I will get to the top of the chain of command…..

I went to five different stores today looking for living room furniture and this was by far my best experience today. The store was clean and well laid out, and everyone was friendly in a genuine way.

Wife and I found a great quality auto reclining couch and loveseat here in January. We choose to have it delivered due to its weight and size. Finally received it today! They appeared to be backed up for months with deliveries but maintained good communication to keep me informed. Delivery service good and the guys were professional. Besides the wait, everything was spot on. Thank you.

Sales process was great but took three deliveries to get undamaged furniture. They don’t inspect the furniture until they bring to your house. Also when you call the store they don’t answer the phone. Wouldn’t recommend them.

I ordered furniture in January. There were several delays in delivery, and not a lot of great communication from the company. Several times, they changed the date without telling me. It took me calling the company (on the scheduled delivery date) for them to tell me it had changed. I finally got a delivery date of May 7th, and got the call the day before for delivery where they assured me they would call half an hour before they came. Hadn’t gotten a call, so I ran to the grocery store that is 5 minutes away from my house to pick up something quick, never got a call, then got a ring notification that someone was at my door. Guess who it was? My neighbor was home thankfully, let them in the garage to put my furniture in the house. I came home 5 minutes later (I actually passed the truck leaving my neighborhood), to find my furniture left in boxes in the middle of my garage. I called the shipping department, they apologized, said that shouldn’t have happened, and said a manger would be calling me back. I have been waiting for a manager to call me back, and they never did. I was leaving to go out of town, but still waiting for a call back, so I didn’t open the boxes. Finally 2 days later my 17 year old son & I opened the boxes and dragged the furniture inside to put together. It’s terrible furniture, not comfortable at all. Totally different than what was in the store. I called the store I bought it from to see about returning. They want to charge me $400 (to come get it & a restocking fee) to return the couches. So $400 for bad customer service & a bad product that I am not happy with. A general manager was supposed to call me back to talk with me about it. This was the morning of May 13. I even called later in the day, and they assured me the manager would be calling me that day. It’s May 20th, and I’m still waiting for a call back.Terrible customer service & terrible product. Completely unacceptable.

The overall atmosphere of the showroom was outstanding. The customer service was excellent. Phil and Kelsey were an wonderful team that worked patiently with us to get us in the furniture that was right for us.

Ordered furniture in April and got put off five times for delivery. They still couldnt give us a solid date and the company sent the wrong chair for us and then they wanted us to wait till October for the correct one...Terrible customer service!!!!!!!!!

I had an amazing experience with value city furniture in Ballwin. Kelsey and Samantha are amazing. I fell in love with the Mayfair Bedroom suite. However, Im relocating to Arkansas and it is able to not delivered there. I tried to get assistance in person in Fayetteville, Georgia, but the manager (I believe his name was Raphaël) offered no solutions. I was crestfallen.Kelsey listen to my concerns intently and offered several viable solutions. I was overjoyed because I really wanted this bedroom set. With Kelseys help, I was able to buy the bedroom suite On the spot! She really helped me out and I am grateful. Samantha process my transaction quickly and efficiently. Great customer service!! We ordered our dining room table in September of 2020. Pandemic issues caused lengthy delays, but, VCF in Ballin was always in contact with us. Table was just delivered and it is perfect!! The delivery guys were great! Brea, at this location, was SO helpful!!

Placed order in November 2020. Still have not received item in April 2021. Delivery date has been changed over 10 times.....what a joke. They still continue to sell products at the store/online that you will not get for months and blame it on delivery times. Management doesn’t care....no apologies- nothing. Thought I found a new furniture store, but I will never return. Make sure your items are in stock- but beware- next week will turn into next month.

I fell in love with a couch there but it required me going in many times to test it, rearrange, look at color samples, etc. every time I went I was greeted by another amazing sales agent. I had several issues that needed to be addressed and the store manager along with the customer service representative went our of their way to help resolve the problem. Never buy warranty they offer on furniture, its completely useless. Value city will sale it and when you want to claim something they will easily redirect to Pure Promise which is horrible. I purchased 5 years warranty - everytime I open a claim, they just give some stupid reason and close it.Hopes this info is helpful.
