I didn’t order from this store but online and this is by far the worst shopping experience I’ve had to date. Ordered a bedroom set in early July 2021. Was originally told my stuff would be delivered mid-August. The delivery day came and there was no furniture. I called customer service and they said the date had moved to late September. I was annoyed but thought that was still a bit reasonable with it being the pandemic and all. To make a long story short, it is now November 6th, 2021 and I still have no furniture. It’s well past the last delivery date they gave me. I checked my account today and there is still no word on where my furniture is. I’ve been sleeping on an air mattress for 3 months now. I really liked the bedroom set that I saw online but I’m about to cancel my order and take my business elsewhere. Never again!Edit: Only good thing I can say about this place is that their customer service reps were really kind and helpful.

Been shopping around for furniture past few weeks. Furnishing my entire home. One of the items I’m looking at is sold at several stores. The Trinell king bed. Ashley’s price was the best by a $35 they were selling it for 464. Big lots has same bed for $500. Took pictures of each items price to reference. Went to make purchase on Ashley’s website. Advertising this huge sale only to find out they raised the price of this bed by $300!!! and now saying it’s on sale?! What a joke! I’ll go elsewhere.

We got greeted with much respect when we first e steered the store. Our sales agent Cassandra was very polite and personal and gave us suggestions on where to go for what we were looking for. Everything was very well organized and in decent viewing shape. We never had anything pushed on us and never felt obligated to get extra things with our purchases. Very great place to go shop and will be coming back again in next few months to finish house furnishing.

Always someone at an Ashley store with superior service - Chad is that person here and should be the case study of how customers should be treated. Huge selection of couches, tables, etc. of which Chad was knowledgeable of. Asked many questions and helped us find exactly what we wanted in the area we had.

Customer service lady had very bad attitude, did not arrive during estimated delivery time (and she had the audacity to say that I should’ve canceled my stuff or reschedule the delivery if I had stuff to do like ummm…no deliver my furniture when you say you’re going to. No one has the time to waste the whole day. Carol house is significantly better and their furniture is better too I just you go there.

Decent selection but a bit pricey and they have nagging salespeople like most furniture places. I also don’t like that they display their prices based on financing, so instead of saying the actual price ($2,000, for example) it will say “$49*” and then “*per month” in small font. So stupid.

They are cheating with customers! Extra insurance will never work for your furniture! They are delivered damaged furniture and didn’t compensate it, didn’t replace! I will never forever recommend Ashley. They change manager but the new manager also didn’t help us. So you could spend thousands of $ and you will be lucky if everything works fine and you don’t need any call back or assistance with some kind of issue. Run away please from Ashley!

Me and my wife had the worst experience there today I’m only giving a star because you have to JASON MEYER (person in reddish color shirt) DAVE MURRAY(tall person in blue shirt) either they discriminate against African American and LGPTQ+ community or they choose what type of people that they want to help because I see that there’s fellow African Americans that gave good reviews which is why I didn’t mind to go to that location…… (there was a black man that was shopping and he lef becaus of the same reason….So me and my wife walk into the store 3 white store associates standing in a group see’s us didn’t say anything at separate times each one of them passed us NO HELP and JASON MEYER had the worst attitude ever so I just decided to walk around there they are greeting all the people that are white helping them 😡 never again will I shop there or recommend ….. P.s. YOU CANNOT GET IN CONTACT WITH ANYONE ONCE YOU CONTACT THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE BECAUSE THEY ARE A franchise 🤦‍♀️

We spent the entire day looking at couches and nothing compared to Ashley. The showroom, employees, and service were all fanatic. Derrick especially was great. He explained the features and benefits of the different couches and made the buying process extremely easy. Highly recommend Ashley.

The Kirkwood, MO store has been absolutely terrible to work with! First they did not deliver any of my furniture on time, then it was sent in several trips (needing me to be home for each delivery), and then they didn’t deliver two items and failed to notify me. Now, I don’t have the matching pieces to the bedroom set I originally ordered because they were discontinued. If that wasn’t bad enough, I still haven’t received a refund for what wasn’t delivered after calling and visiting the store several times. Unbelievable! Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered.

Worst service and customer service ever order a new mattress online got the confirmation and said it would be delivered on a Monday got a new rescheduling on Monday for a new delivery on Friday saying they will call on Thursday to schedule for confirmation of time on Friday . got a call on Friday afternoon trying to schedule a drop off time. I understand theres a worker shortage but I would rather you tell me that you cannot make the delivery at all than have to deal with what you just put me through good thing I didnt get rid of my old mattress expected a new one. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I was told by the sales person at Ashley that my furniture would be delivered to my residence in no more than 2 weeks. The sales person knew that I was without furniture for my children and I. I asked multiple times, “are you sure it’s going to be here by then?” To which he replied, “yes I promise.” Here we are a couple of months later and multiple empty promises of delivery, STILL SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR!! They have promised multiple partial deliveries and always have excuses. I am Completely over dealing with this company and am currently looking for new furniture to buy elsewhere! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Abysmal customer service. We ordered from them in March and it was suggested that we’d have our products in 4-6 weeks. 3 months later we were told it’d be another month. In a month we called again we’re told it’d be another month. Now we called and we’re told it should be ready by the end of October. It’s egregious no one reached out to contact us during this and we had to keep getting our calls dropped as we called their 800 number.Despite that the customer service when we went in was the worst part. No alternatives were offered, no apologies, no “well let’s try to make it right”. It was just blatant no one could be inconvenienced to care. We were told their manager would call back in a few days and we’d probably be charged a 10% cancellation fee for a product we weren’t going to see for months after waiting 5 months and probably hadn’t even been made yet. Not impressed.

We bought our bedroom set, bar chairs and now a new sofa and coffee table. Our salesperson was not pushy but offered great customer service. We ordered furniture here about a month ago and we’re told delivery in 4 weeks. Then 4 weeks later we find out it will be 8 more weeks. I believe they lie about when the furniture will be coming in because this happened to our friends as well. They have been waiting months and months for theirs. Don’t trust what they quote you. It’s a gimmick. I would have rather them been upfront and honest about it. We had been willing to wait longer. They offered nothing except allowing us to cancel. A lot of time wasted!!

I ordered a couch here in May and was told it would arrive in early August. I was disappointed with that estimated delivery date, but loved the couch, so I agreed to purchase it anyway. It is now September 11th and I still do not have a couch. I threatened to cancel my order last month and they assured me that it would be here September 14th, so I agreed to keep it. When I called two weeks ago, they said it looks like September 28th delivery. Today, I was told it is now October 2nd. How on earth can it take 5 months to get a sectional and why are your sales people not giving people more realistic estimated delivery dates?? Had I known Id be waiting this long, I definitely would have ordered elsewhere.Edit: Since I posted this review, my delivery date was changed to November 16th and then once again changed to December 7th. Still no couch. Do not buy anything here!

I have bought furniture from the Ashley Furniture location in Ballwin twice now. Both have been good experiences. The delivery on my couch took a lot longer than expected, but that was in 2020, so it makes sense and is by no means the stores fault. The salespeople are nice and knowledgeable and I would recommend this location to friends and family.

I’d like to acknowledge and give a huge thanks to Mickey, Store Operations Specialist.She assisted me with obtaining a full and prompt refund after the wrong configuration was ordered for a sectional. It took longer than expected to arrive, was delivered twice by professional yet friendly staff and the wait for the right one would have been an additional few months.After being told by multiple CSRs that the order was cancelled and the refund to my card would take 7-10 business days (but no one requested my refund to be processed). I finally called the store and spoke with her. She provided immediate assistance and status updates.I wish I could do more than write this review because her professionalism and customer service skills are nothing short of exemplary.Thanks 🙏 again Mickey!

Very pleasant experience, I actually liked the fact that they give you an option to finance at such a great deal. You can see all the prices on the back of the signs. Sales people were NOT pushy at all and gave me plenty of free space to explore. And even with my not so perfect credit I STILL got 0% financing 👍

Terrible customer service. Salesman stated he would call or text me with a better price on a clearance item and never did. I then attempted to call the store multiple times and nobody would pick up the phone. I finally went back to ask what the deal was and was told the manager would not seperate the loveseat from the sofa. They finally agreed to sell me the loveseat seperate, but then told me they dont have the power cord for it and would sell me a $250 battery pack. Huge waste of time

Very disappointed with Ashley homestore.Reason is we have ordered a bedroom furniture set four months back and we still havent received the furniture and no calls from then yet. Once we called we where told to wait for another month and half. Which would be 5.5 months for one bedroom set. Also we are not happy with the sales associate and sales manager. I Dont recommend this store. Bad experience.

When I initially walked into Ashley Home store, I was greeted by staff which Candice started helping me. She was Outstanding!!! Candice also had a lot of patience which highlighted her great customer service skills. Eventually, I pulled the trigger and purchased a bed and an adjustable base. Please save yourself a headache and do not shop at Ashley Furniture. We bought a very expensive couch and two rocker recliners and paid for a warranty protection. The recliners squeak horribly when you rock them. Both rockers were replaced with two more recliners that also squeak. We were told someone would be out to fix them. They did not show up. Now we are told it will be months before they can come. We want them replaced with something else that works. The store manager says call customer service and customer service says call the store manager. A big run around and thousands of dollars wasted.

I wish there was a zero star for this, we ordered living room, dining room furniture in middle of July and while selecting the products they told us it will be delivered by End of August and we were fine with it, later the date changed to September 5th and then September 29th then October 5th and now it’s October 9th, all these are estimated delivery dates and not the correct dates.. no one answers it correctly! They say it is in hands of manufacturers, they literally wasted my credit check, I am sitting in an empty house waiting for furniture, waste of time, worst customer service and they have no business ethics and they do not consider about customer relations, all they want is orders and no matter when they can deliver! It is a biggest mistake to shop here and waste months of planning your house and what furniture fits in! Shame on you people to take orders that cannot be delivered on time, I understand that you are a franchise and it depends on manufacturers but what kind of a business is that you cannot explain or Expedite the order to your manufacturers, don’t you guys talk or communicate, what year are you guys living, are there no zoom calls, webex calls, emails, point of contact to communicate! We ordered furniture right before Thanksgiving. and knew due to Covid that it would be a while to come in. Not once did they call me with updates on my furniture even though it is company policy states that salesmen are to call weekly. I had to call them. They store manage herself promised to call weekly and never did. I finally accepted a partial shipment after 4 months, which I picked up myself from the St. Louis warehouse and it was more than a month later that final pieces arrived and at that one piece had been misordered. I did keep all but was deeply disappointed and would not recommend using this store.

Absolutely AWFUL!! Do NOT buy from this company. Ive been getting the run around on returning a piece of furniture for 7 months now. First told to call delivery team. Then told to call sales. Sales tells me they dont accept returns. And they keep trying to deliver it. Theyve already tried to deliver it once and I declined it. Now Im getting spammed with automated calls telling me to schedule delivery. Ive made at least 30 calls to them and whomever I talk to refers me to someone else. And I still have no refund. I will NEVER purchase from this company again

This store is very nicely laid out. You are easily able to find help when you need it but no one is pushy. We really enjoyed our experience and were able to be in-and-out pretty quickly. Lots of selection and a good place to start if you’re not sure exactly what you’re looking for. They said someone would be with us, but no one ever did. Several items are also available from Walmart or Amazon for a hundred dollars less. I’d suggest shopping around to see if something is significantly cheaper somewhere else. The worse customer service Ive ever encountered. First and foremost, apparently the sales rep who places the order is supposed to provide weekly updates on the status of pieces, but I never received one update unless I called to inquire about my order. Further, my delivery date got changed what seems like on a daily basis for weeks, so I thought Id be relieved when we finally had a set and confirmed delivery for our $4000 couch, but apparently the couch just didnt get loaded on the truck the day of the delivery so we did not receive it. The solution from customer service, we can try to get it to you over a week later. So now my couch just continues to sit in a warehouse where its been over a week. Managers claim they will call you back, dont believe it because I have yet to see it. Distribution managers are apparently ghosts, because they also have not responded. Even though Ashley Furniture made the error and failed to deliver our order at the set time, they dont seem to care to remediate this. Customer service is just a huge joke. I will never order from them again. I would give zero stars if it were possible.

The people at Manchester were great... The 1 STAR comes from the waiting/false advertising/delivery/non delivery. I ordered three pieces 2 recliners and a loveseat in the end of November 2020. I still do not have my furniture. The estimated date on the paperwork was 2/13/21. 2/13/21 came along and no furniture. After calling I was told that date was only and estimation and was given a new date. After that date passed and not receiving any furniture, I called and was told a new date. This occurred 5 times with me always calling and asking where my furniture was. After taking it to a supervisor I finally was given a delivery date of 5/8, then I called to confirm and they said that was never in their system and then it was moved to when we were out of town and finally pushed back to 5/18. I was so excited because I was going to receive one piece out of the three piece today on 5/18. The delivery truck showed up today and no furniture with no answer of why it was missing. I still do not have any furniture at this time on 5/18/21 or any delivery dates. Every time I speak to customer service they say an estimated date and then they schedule and then when you dont have any furniture show up on that date and you call they say its only an estimated date. Buyer beware. I have now waited almost 6 months to the day for my furniture and still I do not have a date of when I will receive it. Very disappointed.

I was smart and purchased the extended warranty on my reclining sofa that was motorized. After 4 1/2 years I got full replacement. The local store employees were great! But their call center would only get 1 star as they really need lessons on basic customer service. Thank you Brian and Christine at the Ballwin, MO store for finally getting it done right for me.

Ashley, Ashley, Ashley.......why are you this way.Customer Service is Absolutely H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E !My family spent over $5000 on merchandise from them. The end result was that we did not get what we ordered.To make matters worse no one seemed to care about it. They dragged their feet to resolve the issue. The lady at customer service told us we had 7 min. To fix their mistake because they were about to close, thanks Nikki 🤬.As of this post we still have the wrong merchandise in our house and now what we ordered is out of stock.Better off getting furniture from Wal-Mart along with Customer Service 😬😬Silver lining is DeShawn, who works in Mattresses was amazing and I can tell he cares about those he serves! Great part of the team and the only saving grace to a 1 star review 🙌🏾

Nice selection. They greet you as you come in and let you shop peacefully. I was able to take my time and when I was ready Carlos Page assisted me with my selection and Nakeesha Bejoile assisted me with the financing.
