One of the best places to eat in bakersfield,too bad after beeing in there location since the 1960s Amazons bought the location and is kicking them out to tear down the building on may 1 st big business at its best to put us small business owners out, they could remodel the location with out turing down this restaurant, 1000s of dedicated people love to eat there every week some times like us several times,
So very sad to see that big cooperate Amazon has put them out of business. Great Diner food. Sad to see them close.
Great food from a well respected local establishment. The Wilson Rd. location closes on Jan. 17th but has already secured their new location near the truckstops at Weedpatch & Hwy. 58Everything is delicious but I just love their deep fried mushrooms as a snack or a meal.

Normally one of my favorite places to eat but today with the first time I have ordered take out the food was absolutely terrible nothing like my dine in experience eggs and ham over cooked biscuit and gravy all biscuit and no gravy worst experience there ever whoever is in the kitchen today should re-evaluate weather they want to cook terrible I recommend that you don’t try carry out at least you can see what you have before you have paid and are home
Since the first time our family went to dine here we have always had great service. Staff is always friendly, food is great. My kids love to have their Birthday celebration dinner there and their Coconut pies are absolutely delicious.

When we got there for breakfast it was busy. It took almost 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us and thats because someone in my group waved someone down to get drinks. The service us slow but good is great until I saw this blue thing on my dads eggs. Looked like ink or something not sure. Service needs to improve and food needs quality check.
The waitress is so charming and witty. Comfortable disposition. I always only go in for the Gyro. The pita bread should have been a little more toasted as I requested. I did over here the waitress tell the cook but I believe he forgot. Therefore I give 4star instead of 5

They made me and my family paid $22.00 dollars extra for tip. I believe that you give of tip whatever you can or feel like giving them. Not a percentage of your bills. Now that is a rip off. Never going back to this place.

Waited forever for food! All wait staff went on brake while we were waiting for our food! When we did finally get our food it was cold and salty! Our eggs were even cold, and toast burnt and hard! We were there for over an hour and I couldnt get a refill on my coffee because there was no one to fill! I paid way too much for a meal that would have been better at McDonalds!

Are you gonna get 5 star meal?No! Is this place fancy? No!, I like the staff and service is great, The food is good. I honestly come here for the Mom and Pop Diner food and service experience with a little bit of greek they have kept the American comfort food dishes, It may not be Applebees or Tahoe Joes But it feels home with a good portions and reasonably priced. I recommend for the Diner family owned experience and some good food.

Its ok. They have almost every type of ethnicity food. Which is kinda cool but kinda wierd... definitely over priced when you can tell they do not use quality food. Lettece was old & not crisp. The ranch was amazing, fries were good. But not my go to spot.

We had a rude waitress one time but after comeing here more got to know her and she is a really nice person, all the other girls are sweethearts, especially Maria!! Shes our girl.. Great personality!! And I have to say the chili dog tasted great but I woke up at 2am with bad pains and the runs... But everything else is great!!

Been going here for years and not once have I or my family had bad service. Their food is really great and prices are good too. Weve gotten to know most of the waitresses there and the owner and theyve been nothing bu kind and pleasant. My parents love going here for breakfast and their early bird dinner specials are really good too. I love their homefries and its just a great place for comfort food or if youre feeling a little daring some of their greek dishes or desserts.
