We went there thinking we had a leaky tire. Come to find out, all tires were bad. Bad news! With a long trip coming up, Sergio helped us with four new tires at a good price. It took about a half hour. While there we were offered coffee, hot chocolate or water. The whole staff were very nice.

Customer service is really a plus at this location. Ladies at the front desk are really nice and prices are reasonable.

Women I definitely, unquestioningly, enthusiastically suggest this place. They wont rip you off and they stand behind their work. I also always get my oil changed there at like 65% of the price of Jiffy Lube. Ive gotten flats repaired for $15 when I expected to need a replacement. Also the staff is rad.

Tire Man was highly recommended by a co-worker for my vehicle repair. For the FIRST time ever walking into a mechanic/tire shop, I felt complete trust after talking with them about the repairs needed for my car. (sometimes you just get that good vibe.) Not only were they very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly, BUT THEY WERE VERY HONEST! How do I know this? I had taken my car to a mechanic shop BIG something and they were going to charge me $214 for the labor and parts to fix it. THEN they said I would absolutely have to replace a wheel race at an additional $500 to $600!! I know enough about the repair and what it would take to fix it, that I knew they were trying to swindle me for a lot of money. I told them put it back together and Ill take it elsewhere.I then called my co-worker who recommended Tire Man. I purpously didnt divulge any information to Tire Man from the encounter with the previous shady place I went to, so I could hopefully get an honest quote.Tire Man gave me a VERY reasonable quote and I agreed to have them fix it. The repair cost considerably less than what they initially quoted! They could have charged me what they quoted and that still would have been a good deal, but they didnt! I was kinda in shock for their honesty. When does that EVER happen?!THANK YOU Tire Man for your HONESTY and great work!! You now have me as a life long customer!

Friendly and honest! The cost is always less than I expect it to be. They are upfront and honest with prices always including the fees in the estimates. As a single woman, I am confident they are not trying to take advantage of me. I bring my car here for tires, brakes, oil changes and more.

Business the way it should be done. While traveling cross country we encountered a tire problem that a major chain didnt seem interested in helping us with. Tire guy got us back on the road within 45 minutes. This is the type of customer service you just dont see anymore and the staff was amazing. This business deserves your business!

Overcharges for anything other then just straight alignment. Way overcharges for the parts needed for anything mechanical. He charges double for parts. Call Auto Zone or Barts Parts and check the prices. He said rear struts were necessary for the 4 wheel alignment, then I needed to work on the vehicle rear end bushings after so it needed to be re-aligned after and a slightly leaking shock in a strut would not adversely affect the rear alignment. This guy would have robbed me on bushing work. Wasted half a day there and all that money. Go somewhere fair with excellent work, call Bakersfield Overtime, a shop recommended by the smog teacher, for a quote for anything mechanical before you give this guy a penny. I have seem people pay 1200 dollars for brakes at the Tire Man what a thief!

I bought used tires from Pacific Tire on California and P street for my 18 year old and wow he could have been seriously hurt or worse....the tires they sold us for $80 were rotted and splitting We took his car to the Tire Man and took very well care of us!! He didnt try and get over because I was a woman like Pacific did and he hooked us up with almost brand new tires for a better price than Pacific. Customer Service was wonderful treated us like family!!! Tire Man is definitely our new spot for tires for all of our vehicles!!

DONT GO HERE FOR ALIGNMENT. He has an older gentleman working here who took over 2 hours to complete my alignment all for me to drive out of the lot UNALIGNED. Came back within 15 mins and he blamed my truck’s suspension, when the guy who did the alignment himself said my trucks NEW SUSPENSION was perfect. If you want good service go elsewhere, they’ll excuse their way out of things and take your money.

Horrible service I took my car for tire balance and check the sensors. I was watch them they don’t scan the sensors and they said we check them but they don’t cuz I was watch them from the beginning to the end and when I ask them they said drive it little bit and everything going to be fine but everything still same and the guy there he didn’t want to give me receipt till I ask for it

I am glad I stopped here again. Although they are under a new owner, Sergio has had years of experience in the tire and repair industry. He was very honest on what I needed and explained the issues. There was no need on haggling because their first quote beat the competitors prices I had. Thanks to his employees, their service got me in and out pretty fast.

Jose was the greatest help but the owner is a stuck up old rude man who told us he can fix our tire if he feels like it, then couldn’t even tell me a price on a tire unless he called to see if they had one 🤔 I’m confused 🤷🏽‍♀️ if your the owner and the tires are right here in front of me why are you calling to see how much it is?? Then told me a price of $160 but with taxes it came to over $200 yeah right I wasn’t paying or even giving them my business GOOD-BYE

Woke up this morning to find one tire completely flat and the other at 20psi! what luck. I aired them up and took my car to Tire Man to find out that one had a nail and the other had a screw! terrible situation but the mechanic there managed to fix both in less than 15 minutes!!!! completely changed my day around. will definitely come here for any tire needs in the future. Thank you Tire Man!!!!!!

Easy to locate on the corner with a big sign that says Tire Man. Customer service/manager was helpful and knowledgeable and made me feel good rather that ripped off. The Tire Man was $20+ cheaper than other places I recieved quotes from. Will go back and reccondmend this place for anyone who needs tires or related issues.

The dudes are dicks and dont really seem to like their job. They told me a tire i brought in wasnt useable but yet they offered to recycle it for free. It was a good tire and they got over on me and im pretty sure they kept my center cap on a rim. And also they offered to get rid of my extra rims for me for free. Lol like they were doing me a favor by keeping my perfectly good rim. If the boss mans not around theyll make their own prices and dont go in 10 min before they close. Theyll really hate you
