Not gonna bore you with details on my visit just gonna make key points. Mike needs to work on his customer service and attitude. His employees need to work on their skills. His employees are also kinda shady and Mike needs to monitor them more often than he does.

Mike and his team wasted my time.I never even met the main guy once, but was rather tossed around from guy to guy when I called for updates. They lied to me multiple times about my car almost being done too.I see some good reviews but given my experience and the filtered bad reviews, I would say your experience will be based on luck of the draw. My truck was sitting in the back of the yard for a month and a half until I made numerous attempts to get it back as is. Thinking I would get it back all taped up or partially sanded it was completely untouched in terms of work being done. Whats even worse, is I found out the company failed to have their license renewed with the BAR!?

Mike and his wife are great people! Every time I have called, I have been able to speak with Mike (owner) directly which is very comforting knowing the owner cares about his customers on a personal level. He was able to get my truck in and out the same day so that I did not have to be without a vehicle for multiple days. I was a little afraid you would be able to notice where he fixed it, but you can not tell at all. The work this shop does is clean and gave my truck back it’s life :) Thank you!!

This place is horrible. My girlfriends truck has been there over 2 months. And still isnt fixed. And every time we call to see when they say later this week.... They have been saying it for the last month

Today I visited the facility for the first time it is a very unique place unfortunately, I first hand had to be witness to a horrible Indian customer treating these people like slaves or servants, I Give two huge thumbs up and a salute to this facility very professionally inclined. The World is very one sided customers always right but thats a long stretch especially to come to America and treat its people with such disrespect and disgrace, myself a 19 year vet almost could not contain myself GP Autobody give you self a Pat on the back great job you did far better that I would of with that scum bag!!!!

I have had these guys paint and repair several of my cars and one show truck, Mike runs a great crew and they get the job done fast, if you want some cheap work done go out on Edison Hwy but if you want ever last detail completed go see the guys at GP. Prices are better than most of the larger auto body shops but the quality of work is much higher than same shops. I have no idea what these 1 star reviews are compared to all the others that are 5 🌟 just seems funny that people with zero reviews can leave fake comments and false reviews just to make a great group of people look bad, amazing how lame some peoples kids act

I have never experienced a business with such terrible customer service. They painted my Jeep in July 2018 but they were still ordering my Jeep logo stickers. They said they would have them for me in a week. MONTHS passed! Every time I came in I was told they are being ordered and to come back next week. But EVERY TIME I came in nobody knew how to help me. Mike, the owner, is never in and leaves employees to run the shop who dont know how to help. ITS BEEN ALMOST A YEAR, still no stickers. I dont ever write bad reviews because I dont want to harm a business for having a bad day every once in a while but this has gone way too far. I just stopped by the shop AGAIN (for the last time) because I was told for sure they would be ready today. But no stickers.. not surprised. AND the employee helping me asked if I was single and asked for my number. It made me feel so uncomfortable. Customer service can make or break a business and GPs customer service is absolutely terrible. I will never come back or recommend this place ever again.

My 7 year old Toyota was in need of some paint TLC as my wife & I are preparing to make a move to Washington state. Mike gave me an estimate which was much more reasonable than the three other shops I had gotten estimates from. While talking to Mike, I decided to have him install front brake rotors and pads which I had intended to install myself, but ran out of time to do so. I told him that, while he was at it, he might as well align the front end since I had just had new tires installed. He and his team took care of all three items in an expeditious manner. I am not only pleased with the price, but also the results and the time necessary to do so. Top notch service and low prices to boot. I like doing business with the little guy. They almost always go all out to please the customer, counting on their repeat business, rather than resting on their laurels and having the attitude of Oh well, theres plenty more out there if this one doesnt return. I am seldom disappointed.The shop is a bit difficult to find unless you know where to look. If you find Banaceks Lounge, turn into the parking lot and Greatly Preferred is right next door.

Mike and his wife are extremely professional. They did a Wrap on my 2017 Ford Mustang which came out beautiful. I recommend them without a doubt.

As a girl, I had no clue what my car needed. I took it in and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They told me exactly what work I needed done and how much it would cost. Someone crashed into my car on the side and I took it nor knowing what to expect. They are very helpful in a sense that makes you feel like family. The service and performance was amazing. Don’t take your vehicle here if you care about it. Mike is the biggest liar I’ve ever met. His wife isn’t much better. If you question anything that doesn’t seem right, you get cussed out. Mike needs medication or therapy, maybe both. My truck looked better with the dents. I’ve learned a lot so thank you Mike for that much at least.

I brought a bumper here to get color matched for my Nissan 350z and all I have to say is wow, finally a painter I can trust who can get work done right and on time. Ive had too many bad experiences with many painters all over Bakersfield who have stolen my money, done terrible work, give me excuses, runarounds, and just charge way too much. Mike really knows what hes doing and is someone who you can truly trust. I know a bumper isnt too big of a job but honestly, I wouldnt even hesitate to get major body work or a whole repaint done here. Went in to get a paint job and paid upfront a portion of the total and after they told me 2 weeks it would be done, they didnt come thru for over a month and a half. I called them to see when the car would be done and they kept giving me the runaround saying that it will be another week. Bad customer service when trying to call and check status.Update11/28/16 Still have not received a refund till this day after stating I will get a refund over 2 months ago.Update1/14/17Finally received full refund. Took longer than expected, but they did refund me.
